: Im tired of hearing the sexism card, who tf cares if she calls boys smelly, most young girls say that >,<
It's not about the sexism (but lets be honest, if a male said that about all females, the internet would lose its collective mind), it's about Riot putting Neeko's sexuality on a pedestal and having the character wear her preference as a badge of honor. There are better ways to handle the portrayal of LGBT characters

: Funny. I didn't see you post this about Illaoi in your comment history. Wonder why. {{sticker:zombie-brand-facepalm}}
Maybe because I didn't frequent the forums when Illaoi was released? Maybe because critiquing Neeko doesn't require critiquing Illaoi? I don't like her dialogue, and feel it's in poor taste. Stop looking for an underlying issue when there isn't one.
: Why is everyone triggered over Neeko being lesbian???
From what I've seen, there are more people who take issue with Neeko's dialogue than those who are bothered by her sexuality. Personally, I can't fault them for that, since a lot of her shapeshift interaction dialogue is either creepy or borderline man hating.

What's not irrelevant is how often she shoves her sexual preference in your face through her dialogue. From a design perspective, this was poorly executed. IDK Whats more irrelevant, Neekos sexuality or comments complaining about neekos sexuality (like yours)
My complaint is about her dialogue, not her sexuality. There's a difference.
: Which skin lines would fit Neeko well?
Program Project Candy Pool Party Definitely Not Star Guardian Odyssey Cyber Pop Star Guardian would work really well since it's a mostly female squad that has a tightly wound female camaraderie. Odyssey because she could easily be re-skinned to pass as an alien. Program or Project (or any other cyborg/android type) because it would work well with her ability to shape shift.
: I mean, no issue it at all, her voice, on the other hand, that annoys me. I can see some people getting annoyed that this choice comes close to the recent pressure ROIT has been under over shit, but I ultimately have no issue with it. Not like everyone hasn't been shipping league characters of the same sex since 2010. Vi Caitlyn for life!
Her VA's performance was "meh" at best on some of Neeko's dialogue. Her shape shift any male resulting in "Do I smell as bad as I look?" is pushing it though, and some of the shape shift quotes of her flirting with female champs is a bit creepy. Also, she has a fair amount of quotes where she basically wears her sexuality on her sleeve. If they toned down the flirty lines, the lines that distinctly implies her sexuality, and made the "Smell as bad as I look" quote applicable to gruff and/or unkempt champs like Gangplank and Twitch, then I don't think there'd be as much issue. But as is, it feels like there's a few too many quotes that's hamfisting her sexuality in our faces.
: Neeko is a dumb pander to the LGBT community for money
I have no problem with Neeko's sexuality. What I have a problem with is how often she shoves it in our face.

: Neeko's sexuality isn't a big deal. Riot isn't beating you over the head with her sexuality saying "SHES GAY, SEE, SEE!" It is tastefully employed as a character-building feature and is by far one of their most successful ones, given that she is, by her very nature, curious. This is definitely not the character to over-react to.

Riot isn't beating you over the head with her sexuality saying "SHES GAY, SEE, SEE!" It is tastefully employed There's nothing tasteful about how she's constantly hitting on female champions while bashing male champions. And yes, they beat you over the head with it, because that dialogue is executed whenever she shapeshifts.

: Neeko's Sexual Preference is Irrelevant.
I agree, her sexual preference is indeed irrelevant. What's not irrelevant is how often she shoves her sexual preference in your face through her dialogue. From a design perspective, this was poorly executed.

: Neeko's Sexuality Is A Minor Part Of Her Character
If Neeko's sexuality is only a minor part of her character, then why does she have so many hamfisted homosexual and borderline man hating special interactions?
: I like it, a new accent in league thats not primarily english is refreshing

Her lines being obnoxious doesn't help much either. It just feels like the VA is simply reading the script without putting much effort into it. Compare Neeko to pretty much any other champ, and it feels like the ball was dropped on Neeko's dialogue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCt97vpQs_I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDQ9tHMSA74 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poiAi9yFWS4

: It's super offbeat, but that actually makes me like it more, personally.

For me, the problem is the offbeat nature of it makes Neeko feel more like a parody or badly executed fan creation. Her dialogue doesn't have the kind of quality I'd otherwise expect from Riot.
