: [CHAMPION CONCEPT] Qwara - The Notorious Trailblazer.
: Road to Pre-Season: Assassin Update
Ok. according to Riot the list of assassins right now is: Akali; Ekko; Evelynn; Fizz; Katarina; Khazix; Leblanc; MasterYi; Nidalee; Nocturne; Rengar; Shaco; Talon; Zed. The only thing these all have in common is the raw damage burst they can output. If I understood it right, the new "Assassin role" is more about planning your intereactions beforehand so you can get in, KILL ONE TARGET, get out. First, I want to say that this is burying Assassins further down in the competitive vault. NO team will pick a champ that does not do sustained damage or can't stay in a fight for more than 5 seconds, unless they can absolutely explode the backline or disrupt the frontline in such a way that their backline gets exposed. With all that being said, why isn't this list any longer? Why isn't Diana an Assassin? What about Quinn? Twitch? Elise? Kennen? TwistedFate? TEEMO? Second, Assassins must have a class that requires high map awareness, good target selection, exquisite critical thinking and the best mobility in the game, all of that tagged along with the potential to DELETE ONE ENEMY from the map, if not crowd controled. Rito please, Thoughts.
: Taliyah post-release follow up
When I first saw Taliyah's Q concept I instantly thought: "Ok, so they're giving her a bursting and a poking/farming skill". Once she came live a realized that it was nothing like I thought. My reaction was like: "Ok, they don't want her to ever win lane against platinum players and above". Honestly, you should lower the cooldown and mana cost of Q while on worked ground, so it would work as a second auto atack. Lower the damage aswell, but make it feel like you're throwing rocks at people. In order to make it feel so, keep it at 1 rock per cast. If she's to be played as a control mage, you should give her a comfort zone she has to move away from to really access her true power, but god dammit, give her some lane control.
: Hey SaltyKracka, Sorry about the delay, and for the record I'm not the designer who worked on these changes, I did work closely with him though. I don't think these changes fix the underlying problems with Teemo, in order to do that I believe we would need to do much larger scope changes. “Hey guys, are you really, really sure that these Teemo buffs are going to be a good idea? I mean, he's already pretty close to balanced” Teemo has been out of the meta for a while now and currently has a low average winrate + experienced winrate, these aren't the only things we go off but they are decent indicators that point towards him being slightly too weak. “none of the items he builds are getting nerfed (some he might build are even getting buffed!), and the major MR items are getting nerfed to shit in the very same patch.” The midseason update will be a pretty disruptive patch that will be hard to accurately predict but will hopefully be ironed out in the next couple patches. I think the biggest change with items that will affect Teemo's performance will be the QSS changes, certain squishies could have trouble dealing with the R + E damage while conveniently dealing with the blind (QSS will still deal with blind) when they previously had an option. “It feels like with all these indirect changes the direct changes are going to put him over the top.” Overall the Q, and passive changes should feel like quality of life changes that will help the teemo player feel a little bit smoother on the rift. The R changes will most likely be the biggest buff on the changelist while still being fairly minor, they reduce the recharge time by a little over 10% and lower the mana cost. The mushrooms will still have plenty of counterplay options like red trinkets, pink wards and human sacrifices (just kidding… mostly). My hopes are these changes bring teemo up to a more level fighting ground and if they heavily miss their mark we would definitely take a second look. Like I mentioned at the beginning I don't think these changes fix some of the underlying problems and in his current form could cause higher frustration than most champions when he is “balanced” or slightly strong. Cheers, I Am The IRS
You guys could make his Q a thin, long ranged, skill shot. Just like Nidalee's Q, it would reward the good players and balance out the high damage. Another good change would be aligning the blind mechanic with other champions who've also got it (Quinn). I mean, either both make people miss or actually blind them, so they'll miss. It's a clarity matter. I think these changes fit Teemo gameplay style perfectly, since while playing him you're trying to hide, hit, run and never get caught. The punishment for getting caught would be higher (specially with the assassin meta comming back) and Teemo would still be strong if played right.

: Pretty cool, Its solid and works well together, don't see how the passive works with the ensamble of abilities she has, but I really like that passive ^^
The passive is supposed to work as a way of rewarding Qwara players for team work. Qwara is supposed to work as a team fighter, not an assassin. I originally wrote a 3 page lore for her, but I though it would be too boring. In that lore, once she got apointed for champion at League, she realized she wouldn't be able to make it without Wukong and Ahri's help. She realized that people who cooperated with her would call her the rising star of Bandle City, when in fact it was nothing more than good cooperation. Glad you liked her kit. I hope more people gets to read it. =D

: "Congratulations, you've chosen support. Your team will forever ignore the fact that without you, your adc could have possibly fed and gotten rekt, not to mention that pentakill was because of your amazing ult that no one thanks you for"
Is that so? What if the other ADC didn't have a support too?
: Ahah... This is a joke right? Gold support main here and I have never found such a wrong statement about supports. It is clearly one of the easiest roles to carry with once you main it. From getting a vital role (damage dealing adc) fed to making plays to win team fights. A support truly takes the reins for good reasons. It's a role where decision making is a key part to winning. Bard being my best champion, I win more games due to my own decisions than any other player carrying. I can even get teams to win from behind as Bard through good ults, great q shots, and amazing positioning. I even joke that maybe I shouldn't even play Bard in ranked anymore because I carry so hard.

I understand that. But, what happens when even your massively flashy and mechanicaly intensive play only could have won you the game, because your team lacked the reasoning to see that "that play won you guys the game"? That is what I'm talking about. I absolutely do not feel good about the support role right now. The way you win is not by playing passive, but passive/aggressive. The supports need to make plays and they need their team mates to follow up. Otherwise is just feeding caviar to a parrot.
: League at PAX East - Download the Minimap!
Oh, Nice job Riot. Last Year I was IN BOSTON. Pretty much nothing League related happened on that side of the country. Now that I'm stuck back in Brazil you show up this BIG. Sincerely, that feelsbadman. {{item:3070}}

: The theory is that queue times will increase, so some people will hop ship to Support and get a queue time of zero. People will eventually gravitate more towards Support, and it will balance somewhat.
Except that the support role feels useless outside of the competitive scenario. There's absolutely no way the support outplays someone, get's an important kill, snowballs and carries the team to victory in solo queue. The only impactful decisions the supports make right now are through shotcalling and smart warding. If the team doesn't respect the support's oppinion, then he/she becomes completely helpless and doomed to try and babysit for the crazy team that never follows up but always picks bad fights. I think Rito should re-think the role completely and give them the commander status, so people will start playing support more often. Jungle main here.
: New champion select roundtable
Are you guys finally going to use the champion mastery system for something usefull and show our team mates what champions we play best with, while during picks and bans, or what?

Man, I was going to post the same thing! Riot must fix it! I'd love playing {{champion:107}} with this mastery at 20% AD scalling. It's just not what I thought it would be. So frustrating. RIP

As a Jungle main, I'm highly dissapointed with you Phylol... Y U NO let me oneshot those ADCs? As a League Player, well done sir. ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ MAMBO༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ
: Oh my god. This is exactly how I feel as a support. Always getting bitched at by ADCs who don't know how to position themselves. THANK YOU. Nice to know I'm not the only one. I'm also not going to stand around and not hit minions if you're not even going to take the kills, I will take them myself if you don't want the gold. I can hold my own. {{champion:43}}
You must be the true bad {{champion:43}} of the adc's life.

: Problem was gragas was buggy as shit when he came out. By the time they fixed his bugs, people had forgotten him. Then Season 3 happened.

Hmmm... interesting how you used the word "surfaces"... is that a clue?
: The HUD update ready to go live with 5.14!
Please let us move the UI elements around the screen. We want to chose in which corner of the screen our minimap is going to stay. We want to be able to bring the skill bar to the sides of the screen. Please, Please, Please...
