: Then "INTING" and "griefing" need to be removed from report options because they are 99.999% ignored. Moreover, matchmaking need be improved and low-key repetitive verbal harassment/toxicity be treated the same as calling someone an idiot. I'd much rather play with someone calling me an idiot once - with good cause - than have some griefing teammate spend the whole game harassing me and claiming everything is my fault as I all but break my back bending over backwards to give them a fighting chance to get back in the game. I know Riot doesn't think that way right now.... but we can change that as the player base. Somebody has to step up and say enough is enough... just like with the improper treatment of female Riot employees, and just like with the unfair treatment of men at a certain Riot sponsored event awhile back. Something might be the "norm" right now, but that doesn't mean it should stay the norm or that it's not worth fighting for change. Somebody has to do it and get the ball rolling. Even though all I get so far for it is mostly hate, verbal abuse, and silence... somebody has to fight for what's right. Just as women faced ridicule when they first started standing up for themselves. Just as men were bashed for weeks when they said enough is enough and that reverse-discrimination isn't the correct route to take to combat discrimination. There's griefers out there who downvote cuz they don't want to get punished for doing wrong. There's naive people who don't know better. There's people just looking to rip someone apart on the boards and rake in upvotes by going against posts like mine because they know that's popular. And then there's the few people like you (seem to be) and me that have some actual logic and knowledge of the issue and can discuss it in a reasonable manner. Well let all those people go and hate on me, ridicule me, and harass me with toxic illogical arguments - I'll still stand for what is right.

Well let all those people go and hate on me, ridicule me, and harass me with toxic illogical arguments - I'll still stand for what is right. I think Riot needs to be slightly more strict on verbal abuse & griefing, but the problem is if they do that, soooo many more players will be banned and their game will die even more than it currently is, so that puts Riot in a tough spot. Do they want to A) Ban a relatively small number of people and keep a large number of players playing, with questionable happiness regarding punishments B) Ban a larger amount of people and have a smaller playerbase, but have those players be happier. Obviously to the average player, B seems like a much better option, but Riot needs to look at it from a business perspective because, after all, they are a business, and A probably does get them more money. I wish I could fully disagree with that stance of theirs but I understand where they're coming from. (Assuming that is the mindset they have.)

: Very casual players, very new players, and very bad players can't tell the difference. Very tilted players can't tell the difference. Others can. An adc or kha'zix jumping into 4 full hp enemies over and over? Inting. A squishy player dying alone over and over vs fed enemy assassin and splitpusher? Inting; they know well enough to group with their team for some degree of protection and ability to detect such enemies before they get on top of said squishy. The adc and support that get repeat 4 man ganked while jg refuses to help them and mid won't push lane or counter-gank bot to help? Not inting. They're just being screwed over by their team. *Whether or not it's inting is also largely a measure of elo (lower elo more things are excused because people don't know or aren't as good). *Whether or not it's inting also depends on how frequent. Once or twice making a mistake in a game is understandable. But if you're doing the same play(s) over and over after you KNOW they don't work... then you are inting. It's literally that simple.

The thing is, there's probably at least one inting report every other game on average because people report for ridiculous things. Riot simply doesn't have the time or resources to view every single game in which someone happens to feed to know whether it was inting or just a bad game. And the thing is - they _may not_ know better. I agree that if someone's above bronze they shouldn't make the same mistakes over and over again, but as far as Riot's concerned, that's not their problem. They can't ban people for being bad, hence the removal of the 'unskilled player' report. You can't classify making mistakes as inting, now matter how egregious it may seem.

: Evidently Hate speech isn't a "say once get banned"
The onlyyy thing I can think based on this is that you have a very low report score. How often do you report players? If it's a regular thing and you don't often get feedback reports that's the only way I'd imagine this happening. ..Or maybe Rito's just going more down the shitter who knows at this point
: i haven't played game for many years but sitll people most likely pick beta/early champs. the newest champs mechanics are complicated but they want to come up with something fresh, so that's good about it. for example i always wanted "shopkeeper" hero in mobas, ornn is closest to it. only downside is, that these complicated new champs can be very confusing for new players and difficult to play. i have feeling the "upgrading/evolving ability" or "duo champs" can be inspired by HOTS. in HOTS you dont have items only talents that you pick when you level up that enhances your main abilities, instead of releasing characters like this, they could just make dota aghanim item for LoL. also Hots had hero you have to play as two and it was somehow innovative in mobas as i never seen it before.

The one problem with this is "but they want to come up with something fresh, so that's good about it". I'm not sure where this misconception ever came from, but unique does NOT equal good. For example, whenever I complain about Singed, people respond with "he's so uniqueeeee" which is absolutely correct, but in all the wrong ways. He's unique in the way that if he's decent in what he does he's near uncounterable and since he's the only champ dumb enough to do what he does (proxy farming) so many people don't have a lot of experience playing against it. I just think it's kinda a cruddy argument to defend a bad design.

You gotta think about the big picture. _ban long sword_ almost every AD champ is useless _ban amp tome_ almost every AP champ is useless _ban cloth armor/null magic mantle_ almost every tank is useless Unless you only mean top-tier items but I still think it would be quite a bit too strong in certain metas or against certain comps/champs. It kinda seems cool in concept but then in practice it'd be kindaaaa eh

Personally, I want *more* of this kind of stuff, although I acknowledge that some landed better than others. I may have slightly misspoke there. It's just that some ideas (like stealing ultimates or shapeshifting) are things that anyone can think of, but most people would know have the potential to be unbalanced and not generally allow for good gameplay. Kled's passive is a good example of something not many people may think of and it was executed very well, but that's a lot more than I can say about some more recent champions.

How about you come up with an idea yourself. With 140+ champions it's hard for them to all be completely unique from one another, some are going to have some kind of repeats in some aspects, but all in all I think Riot does a good job keeping even similar things different enough to warrant it. Take the hook champs for example. Blitzcrank: Almost instant cast time, straight line standard hook, goes through terrain, pulls people towards him he stays where he is. Nautilus: Can pull him towards terrain, but if he collides with an enemy unit he pulls himself and them towards the middle. Thresh: Longer cast time, pulls enemies slowly and can go to them if he pleases. Pyke: Cast time, has the ability to be a melee attack if need be, can pull enemies behind him because the pull is a fixed pull length. (Hope I worded that well enough) This is an example of 4 champions having fundamentally the same ability but it being so different no one mentions it.
