: Silver Support Main Looking for team/ADC duo
Hey, I'm interested in joining up with you! I don't play very much ranked and I've only been silver the past few seasons but I follow the meta and changes extremely closely. I only gingerly reply to this thread because I'm low elo, but as I always say- you're bad at League until you're the best. I play alot of Jhin and Xayah ADC as well as Thresh and Bard support. If you want to know where I stand in terms of opinions on the game, Akali is finally balanced, Irelia too, and Lux W is too strong. The most op champion at the moment is Sona: her kit is simple enough to be played by a brick, but her contribution to any comp is very high. This, combined with how strongly aery scales and how easy it is to proc with Sona's kit (e, q, and w all proc it) make her the standout best champion right now. Best bot picks are Jinx, Xayah, and Sivir, best mid pick is really a toss-up right now, Akali is good at most stages of the game, Yasuo is objectively op (if you do the math, he gets over 5,000 gold worth of effective stats from a single item. Note this math was done assuming Yasuo has no runes and only doran's blade and statik shiv). Rek'sai and Hecarim are the most op junglers just because of how quickly they can proc conqueror, and I don't really play much top but lane Rengar is pretty oppressive and Riven finally seems to be balanced. Yuumi deserves an honorable mention for being objectively broken, but it is mostly played by egirls and Sona-main type players, which is to say pretty passively, and without any notable expression of mechanical skill. My champion pool looks something like this- Top: Sion versus carries, Cho'Gath is usually fine, Kled if I have to carry, and situationally Tahm Kench Jungle: I think this is the hardest role, so I usually just pick something that can be useful no matter what, so Amumu, Nautilus, or maybe MAYBE Fiddlesticks Mid: I have the most experience playing Cassiopeia, but I can also play Corki and Kassadin if they pick something like TF, Lissandra, or Syndra. Vel'Koz too. Bot: I have at least 100 games on most ADC champions, but I'm most proficient with (in order) Jhin, Xayah, Ezreal, Ashe, Caitlyn, and Kalista. Support: Thresh is my best support, with Bard at a close second. I also play Shen, Karma, and sometimes Alistar In conclusion, I never flame, I never rage, I practice my fundamentals (last hitting, wave control, jungle tracking, etc.) frequently and I have played a shit ton of games so I have a pretty good idea of how to win and what to do to contribute to the team. I'm not the most competitive person, but I enjoy winning and I always try to do everything I can to win. Feel free to reply here or add me! Thanks for reading, Gshock Omnitrix (North America) p.s. I have discord and I speak fluent English and Spanish (English native)

: Blitz is still a potential candidate for an Ezreal style update. Nothing committed to beyond that though at present. Nexus Blitz play rate dropped off real hard once the missions for it ended. We're assessing what to do as a result, had been hoping its baseline appeal would stay higher. Overall it dropped down to a pretty similar play rate to its first run.
From the recent video posted about what to expect from season 2019, I am sad to see an Odyssey style mode coming back. Unless it gets some MAJOR changes, it will again be just a mode that few actually enjoyed and most just played for missions. I want to stress that Riot CANNOT gauge how much the players enjoy something JUST by looking at the numbers. If you release a gamemode and then heavily incentivize us to play it, of course we are going to play it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was particularly fun. Perhaps a better model would be to release a mode and then let us play it without giving us goodies for doing it, and then take a look at the numbers. -GsO{{champion:69}}

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: January 30
Hey Meddler, just wanted to say that I'm glad you're nerfing that very particular aspect on Akali. Whenever a champion is newly released or reworked, I usually go straight to a high elo player's stream and watch what they do. The first thing I picked up on was Akali's level 2 spike- literally throw down your smoke and q for poke without the possibility of taking damage in return. The fact that this gives her sustain through the heal is..... revolting. Glad to see the balance team are paying attention. -GSO{{champion:69}}

: I'm a bit biased as a jungler as fleet footwork is the only one that works on non-champions. I like it.
Thanks for your feedback! I was more targeting lane champions with this discussion, but it's true that junglers have mostly not been impacted by its nerfs

: Nautilus lore - what's most important to you?
In agreement with what many of my fellow summoners are saying, I believe Nautilus is defined primarily by his mystique; his almost mythical aura is largely due to his mysterious power, the source of which feels extremely ancient. For such a power to choose to inhabit the (body? spirit? old fashioned dive suit?) of the man Nautilus once was, he must have been significant, but not just significant, _SIGNIFICANTLY SIGNIFICANT_. What I mean is that there had to be something about Nautilus that was deeply different that made the spirit/ghost/whatever of the deeps choose to empower him. I think it would make for a weak story if his power was made out to be the result of _really really wanting revenge_. Additionally, I don't feel the source of Nautilus' power is a force that concerns itself with good and evil, but rather something more ancient, something that stirs only in the presence of a violation of an ancient and timeless edict or code. One might conclude that the actions of his former crew broke the older-than-stone law of this timeless power, a power that sleeps in the dark depths of the ocean, which awakens to see retribution be done at the hand of the Titan on the Deep.

: At This Point, Only 20 Champions Have No Mobility.
GBay99 made a video talking about Kennen, and how he used to dominate the rift but saw a decline not because of nerfs/buffs, but because of an increase in mobility abilities in the game. I personally don't like such a high level of mobility. Mobile champs should be a subcategory of champs, not the other way around

: After death items/spells (not revive)
If it was an active effect (which I think would be awesome), it would have to be only available within three or so seconds after death. Not knowing when an enemy could respawn would break the game for sure. Unfortunately, I dont think it will ever be an active effect because then the player could choose whether or not to use it, which would eliminate the mini-objective of popping an enemy player's GA. The idea that the GA is a backup item and not a just-in-case item, if you will, is a healthy spot for the item.

: Because there are two effects to Akali's w, the blink and the shroud. When she uses Twilight Shroud in Miasma, she cannot utilize the blink, but it still places the shroud. This is not a bug is is working as intended
No, it is still bugged because Miasma blocks Amumu Q, which one could argue has two parts: a stun and the movement of Amumu towards the target, yet the Miasma blocks Amumu from even being able to cast it.
: I'd like to see an in-game image (.gif perhaps?) of a skin along with its Splash art in the store.
I made a post asking for the same thing here https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/FmgVq4FP-champion-skin-and-emote-previews A few months ago. Great idea, glad to see someone has the same opinion I do! -GSO

I think that's a very bad idea. Shaco's Q ability is what gives him mobility and the invisibility is what makes him an effective gank
