: I mean. Giving love to old and unpopular champions is great but. Some of your balance changes uh no thanks.
Whew you think I care about that opinion huh? I'm sick of seeing every champ especially new ones getting completely butchered because of stupid crap. Irelia has been beyond destroyed, look at her when she was first reworked to all the crap they've done now. Same with akali, Sylas, Neeko ect. This community will complain that things are "op" and cry and cry while following the *coughs very loudly* "meta" the "best" set up. People have been saying for years sona is a trash champ that will never be good in competition... Now look sona taric. Nothing changed.. she didn't get buffed and nerfed that much and now look. Urgot when he became meta, he wasn't touched for sooooo long and was slept on until one person in professional play took him up in a match, then suddenly he became busted?! So many champs are slept on and don't get me wrong sometimes things get out of hand, but the most sickening thing is watching all the stupid nerfs come through and quite questionable nerfs at that. Really read the patch notes and I recommend watching LS patch note breakdown, the man ain't always right but my god can he call some of the crap riot pulls.
: You sound mad :D and anything a pro can do you could potentially do, I apply tactics strategies I learn from the best all the time. Besides you ape you follow the same "meta: we all follow and guess what? It's defined by the best, you're fighting an uphill battle here and SKT isn't the best in the world G2 is (Again watch pro play :P and educate yourself.) I see the reason you lose and it has nothing to do with your team, it's your poor attitude. You and everyone like you will always be bottom tier, look at any successful person in any field. They don't give up, they hold themselves to a higher standard and don't look to blame others at the first sign of things going bad. If a 16 year old girl can go challenger by playing Sona mid, then I feel like I can teach a monkey such as yourself to take a deep look within. Master yourself child, then master the enemy. Also to anyone else reading this give this man a hug seems like he needs one.
Ah I took a look and you're bronze hm, yeah bronze is easily solo carried. Play 450 champs, mute your team, Don't play Ez he's too advanced. Buy more control wards, Cs better, go practice mode to warm up, Don't play ranked in an environment where something can distract you, don't play league when tired or hungry. Don't make excuses or beat yourself up on mistakes, learn champion cooldowns and harass accordingly. Don't get greedy even when ahead, don't worry about team comps at your elo they don't matter. Learn to take advice and you'll be fine kiddo, good luck in your promos <3 and pings save lives. Ping like a mother

: Are you seriously comparing low-tier scrub league to the highest skill, competitive, tournaments out there? You're only proving me right that you haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about. These are two very different incomparables. Strategies that work in one, don't work in the other. Yes it's the same game we're playing, but the skill of the players involved makes worlds of difference, to the point they simply can't be compared. Competitive tournaments and what happens in them is irrelevant to low tier, average play. >It's why smurfs and elo boosters are successful? The reason smurfs and elo boosters work is because they are highly skilled players going up against shit tier scrubs. Of course they fucking work you complete cretin. >but a fool who looks for anything "profound" outside of himself My comment regarding profound insights was clearly sarcastic. Do I have to spell this shit out for you? Clearly I do. >oh yeah and before I forget try watching the pro's because I.G. doesn't just farm they still pick fights and make big plays even when severely behind. SKT in the first week of the summer split has picked up on how I.G. does it, so can you. Good players don't make excuses they make solutions Do you know what the difference is? They are a professional team! Of course they can do it, and SKT is the best in the world! You and I are average players of barely comparable skill level. Again you're comparing incomparbles. That's like chiding someone who plays 5v5 football on Saturday mornings because he can't replicate what the professional league footballers are capable of. Fucking stupid.

: If you're in solo queue you can solo carry, anything under plat can be solo carried. It's why smurfs and elo boosters are successful? Yes some games can't be won no matter what you do, but a fool who looks for anything "profound" outside of himself... lol you've got a long way to go. Also for ya'll who wanna claim it's a "teamgame" (same fools who will turn around and cry "1v1 me!") Faker for the longest time won championships damn near dragging the rest with him. Common knowledge among us common folk. Tyt i'll wait :D

: When you are behind, please, JUST FARM!
"Farming from behind." Isn't a solution and quite frankly if you can't carry the game solo you have no right to complain. Find a duo take up two different lanes and carry the game o/

(Insert any colorful word here.) Still I don't think things NEED to be flashy or crazy. Over all the complaints about Qi are lame, just about every dude in the game is jacked and fit, girls are slim with tight clothes blah blah but it's the way it is. IMO as long as the champ has personality and you can vibe with it that's the important selling point. Jhin is the best example of this, I hate his in game look on his classic skin. The thing on his arm is whatever, but MAN do you FEEL like you're playing a psycho. From his lines to the music, to his whistle then his twisted laugh. Jhin pulls you into his character and is a great example of what a champion can be. Dont misinterpret me, Safe does not mean its not flashy or crazy, its safe in the same way Pyke is safe, in the same way Riven is Safe, basically making sure the person playing the champ has enough little safety blankets so that the little mistakes are not punished, while being able to stomp older champs making those same mistakes. She is of course still the same overloaded trite that Riot has been doing since Runes Reforged, thats a constant in this game now. So when i say Safe i mean more Yasuo 'safe' and less actually balanced champions safe. And yes personality does factor in but for being what amounts to a herald of a new culture in league you kinda gotta have a bit stronger visual design going on. To show a physical embodiment of what the culture's appearance is. She kinda does not have that. I mentioned in another thread that she lacks a distinct motif for her culture. You could recolor her greens into Yellows and she would look like a Shurimian champ, you could change her gold trim to silver and give her red colours and she looks like she is from Ionia. Thats her issue, for being part of a new culture nothing visually about her really says that this is a new culture, not in the same way that Nasus or Azir shows Shurima or Gangplank shows Bilgewater, or Kalista and Thresh showing the shadow isles.
I think we can agree to disagree in no way shape or form will things be fair nor equal, and personally I love her design. Little mistakes are meant to be punished, it's the reason pro players are so good because in this game all those little things add up. Also have you ever thought that her abilities are the real show of display? I think she isn't overloaded at all and positioning like in all things will matter quite a lot. People tried to tell me that Yuumi was a trash champion (this was on release.) when the same people saying that were blindly face checking brushes or my personal favorite my ADC AA in melee range of a garen or any melee champ. I can say she ain't for you and that's fine, you have every right to feel the way you do, but until we've all seen her played at the highest level I think we should hold off on assumptions. Lastly come on Riven has a big unrealistic sword in her splash and swings that bad boy with one arm mind you in game. I think QiYanas splash is the least of ritos sins xD
: Personal opinion but if you don't Jungle, don't tell your team's Jungle how to play their role.
Ok first off my fellow solo queue'rs know YOUR role and champions (which you don't lol) before going in on any other laner. Second it's important to know what your jungler does, Karthus doesn't need to gank but he sure as hell better not miss a good ult timing. An elise has no excuse not to go for a good tower dive provided the laners are not complete apes. No champ is the same, and play styles can and WILL differ. That said as a jungler you should look to make an advantage for your team in some way shape or form. That includes but is not limited to tracking the enemy jungler, denying vision in the lanes, ganking for non ape teamates (also if you're playing a champ with little to no cc don't expect to be ganked you make the game harder then it needs to be...) ect. League isn't black and white, so many little things add up and all to often I see laners flame my jungler or never rotate or pick stupid fights with no vision, then go off the handles with rage. Grow up and own your mistakes, get a better attitude, be a better teammate, and for the love of god use the damn mute button. (pings also save lives kids!) This has been a Francis of the filth announcement.. Peace.

: Now i may just be speaking out my ass but it seems like everything has been somewhat 'less' this year, once again speculation but was it not the case that financially riot did not too super great last year and it seems like alot of stuff happening right now reflects the sorta kneejerk 'gotta turn a profit or daddy tencent wont be happy', i mean look at it. Glorified, overpriced, overcharged gold chromas are added to every new skin line now Quite a harder emphasis on popular champs getting skins with stuff like Lux and Ez double dipping,Jhin getting his legendary and the ever popular Tristana getting a skin choice as opposed to a decidedly more obscure character. Significantly less tertiary content being added alongside new skin lines and instead the lines are simply dropped without much fanfare, in comparison to earlier years when entire maps, events or at least animations were made. More questionable balance decisions, buffing or leaving popular champs in stronger states. Even small stuff now like how the Essence emporium doesn't let you get default skin chromas for BE, so if nothing you already invested in the skin. Much Safer champion designs and releases so that the champs made are still somewhat popular due to either being attractive, or 'cute', with the deviations from this having powerful kits to compensate (Pyke) or amping up the 'cool and flashy' factor. Event passes for everything It just seems like to me that Riot had a bad financial year last year and have either been told or chose to turn into damage control mode making sure they are making plenty of content that will guarantee to sell well, while cutting down on extraneous or other things that don't turn that profit (animations, maps, events). This new champ is just another step in that, making another standard attractive champ so they know that they can safely sell them, while pushing Morde to the side since reworks may not sell as much skins and stuff, since people already own the champ and their skins. I suspect this year is going to be the Year of being Safe, we are not going to get crazy animations or events, or super creative champs, we are going to get stuff that is going to turn them a nice profit consistently so they can go back to tencent at the end and show that they can still make bank. So more popular champs, more Popular champs leading skin lines, more Popular champs double dipping prestige skins and more boring and somewhat safe designs that will keep their profit margins nice and straight.
Wait so Qiyana's wacky kit is safe? ooook I will agree that lux and ez getting 100 skins is a bit... (Insert any colorful word here.) Still I don't think things NEED to be flashy or crazy.
