I miss Kalista :c They aren't giving a legendary to a champion that isn't popular. People only played her when she was one the best adc. Champions like Lux, Ezreal, Kai'sa, MF, Ahri, ect will always be played and popular purely based on their looks. It's the same in Paladins, OW, ect. Characters like Lian and Seris get all the skins while unattractive characters literally go years without a skin.

That happened to me after being in the queue for an hour and a half, and I got so annoyed I haven't played it since. It is a fun game though. I don't know about that, but I was reading the forums and reddit. Apparently it takes an absurd amount of time to get your placement matches done in that game. The time in queue is like 40 to over an hour for new players. That's cause there aren't that many new players joining so the match maker for new players doing their placements takes a very long time. The queues outside US are even worst. Koreans have completely abandon the game. There is also that problem with DC and unable to reconnect after. Apparently, the developers never fixed that network bug. The problem is Hots is built on SC2 engine. In a pvp match in sc2, a player that gets dc normally loses and therefore there wasn't much incentive to allow a reconnect to a match that is already a loss. In sc2, a dc would give the player who didn't get dc a huge advantage, which normally is too great to overcome. Here is a recent thread about on their forum. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/heroes/t/reconnecting-over-and-over-disconnect-bug/25107/69 That thread was posted two days ago.
: Why I've decided to return to Heroes of the Storm
Hots is on maintenance mode. Did you not hear about Hots developers who moved to Riot? Developers are abandoning that sinking ship for a reason. It's not just some random developer, but well know and liked developers. As for you point in value, from what I read on the Hots forum, most regret spending money in Hots precisely for the reason you mention in the value section. It's relative easy to farm for cash shop items. Players in the Hots forum were discussing that the changed system to the 2.0 was a mistake cause it gave f2p players too much free items, which discourage paying customers from buying from the cash shop. I don't think this value point of yours is relevant. If a game can't make enough money that the developers relegate the game to maintenance mode, then the game monetary model was a failure. In this case, Hots f2p model was a failure. This failure translates into almost no new content. It's like starcraft, there is very little new content. People complain about Hots not having carry potential. A good player is only as good as their team. People share xp and their is no cs in Hots. I think Hots monumental failure speaks for it self with regard to mobas. Mobas such as LoL and Dota are superior in popularity and have continual content develop for them. Hots can't say the same. Even Smite has a good chance of surpassing Hots. As for boring, the player population of LoL speaks for it self. There are many problems with Hots that people have discuss in their forum and reddit with regard to the share xp, carry potential, and overall hots design. Obviously, the Hots design is a failure, which is why their developer team was cannibalize for other games. You are entitled to your opinion, but based on the decision of Blizzard and Hots market share, it is not the superior moba. I'm expected Hots to be axe, which is why I completely stop playing it. Once the content that was already in development dries up, then what? The main head developers have been moved to other projects or have quit and gone to other companies. The writing is on the wall. Don't waste your time with a game that will be axe. Last but not least, every new character is grossly overpowered. There are so many threads complaining about the new character. Yet, Blizzard is dragging their feet. It's been a long time now and nothing has been done. Probably due their skeleton development crew not having enough people.

It's been over 5 years that Riot actually did anything remotely encouraging TT. You would need stats of the years prior if the reason for low interest is 3v3 itself or Riot's neglect making it an unbalanced fiesta. I don't see the point in looking at stats from years ago. The point is that TT in it's current state isn't worth keeping as a permanent game mode with that low play rate. There is nothing riot can do to change the past. What is done is done. If you were given a chance to convince Riot and the people who have the authority to keep or remove TT, what would be your arguments? Your arguments would have to take into consideration other potential investments. For example, why invest resources into TT vs TFT or even completely different project. How much revenue would investing into TT produce vs TFT or other projects? What are the profit margins for investing into TT vs TFT or other projects? How much money, time, and resources into TT vs TFT or other projects? It's not that simple like comparing past history. You need to look forward and show projections. If those projections fall short of other existing projects such as TFT, then the people who decided what gets invested into will not approve your project. TT is redundant game mode and doesn't offer Riot any monetary gain compare to a new event game mode with skins to sell or a completely new game mode like TFT. That's why Riot didn't invest any resources into TT.

The only region that plays TT is NA. Why invest resources into a game mode that only NA plays at a very low play rate? The other major regions, especially Korea and China, are all about esports and modes that support SR.

It would be extremely difficult to balance. Aram is easier cause it uses the same 5 vs 5 as SR. However, TT is 3 vs 3, which would be a nightmare to balance. The problem with investing resources into TT is fact that only NA server would see any benefits. No amount of resource invested into TT will get Koreans to play that mode. It has no esport backing. Koreans like the Chinese heavily favor SR due to this game mode being exclusively used in esports. Nexus Bliz only had 3-4 percent play rate in Korea where in NA it had 8-9 percent. Koreans and Chinese are only interested in game modes that can help improve their game. Aram at very least helps with team fighting, which is why I think it has a much higher play rate in Korea, about the same play rate as NA.

: Give me the reason riot doesn't sell map skins
Probably cause they have a hard time implementing the coding to change maps. Just take a look at Aram. Apparently, the Butcher's Bridge is not simply a map change, but a completely different game mode. Howling Abyss and Butcher's Bridge are two different game modes. I'm guessing that each map or mode requires an update, which i why new or old maps are rarely implemented in game. In short, riot doesn't have the coding to change the maps. All maps are their own unique game mode. There was a Riot developer explaining that Butcher's Bridge was actually another game mode and not just a map change for Howling Abyss. Announcer voice packs are probably in the same boat. The code doesn't exist to simply change the announcer voice.

Riot sees TT like a waste of resources with that low play rate. I'm sorry for your lost, but TT play rate is too low to justify keeping the game mode as a permanent mode. : Pantheon's skins look so good. Thank you Riot's visual design team (or whatever you're called)
: No I will not "friend" you just so you can continue an argument.
I always try to friend people from the forum or in game to play games with them in Aram or special game modes. Unfortunately, certain posters or in game players seem to never accept friendly request. Normally, a player requesting a friend request is to have people to play with in the future. You did the right thing OP, under those condition I don't think they wanted to add you to their friend list to play games together in the future.
: Just wanted to bring attention to the Twisted Treeline removal
Not a lot of people play TT. The addition of TFT mode to LoL forced riot to retire TT. The more modes there are the more the player base is split, which will cause higher queues for each mode. Last year riot released stats for the different game modes. Apparently, Koreans don't play TT at all. I don't think it even had 1 percent. The NA and Brazil servers barely play TT. From the charts, it's less than 2.5 percent of the player base in NA play TT. The Brazil server is like 1 percent. Compare that to Aram, which has around 15 percent in both NA and Korea. I imagine that in China the play rate is similar to the Korean servers, near zero percent. Here is the chart: https://media.comicbook.com/2018/10/league-of-legends-game-modes-1138435.jpeg There are so many things wrong with TT, including bugs, imbalances, and more bugs. The fate of TT reminds me of Dominion. Both Dominion and TT got progressively worst with time due to the lack of game play balance for those modes and bugs. Every game mode has to have some balance done overtime and bug fixes like what Riot did with Aram.

Looks like you have some competition Busty Demoness from Busty Demon. Question is who is the most busty? Teemo should be reported on sight for being the most annoying champion in LoL, period. I'm joking in case people take my last statement serious. I wouldn't report a player for picking an off metal pick for support. Now if the player started doing weird things like taking the jungler's camps or stealing minions from mid ect, then I would. I would report such a player regardless if he or she picked teemo. If the support plays the role as support, then I have no problem. I seen some pretty weird supports like Ahir, Syndra, Brand, ect, which offer some limited cc, but mostly a lot of damage. Teemo wouldn't be that far off from these off meta supports.

It's obvious what they did there. They moved her head to the right in order to show off her face. Her face should be more to the left.
: Kai'Sa was released a year ago. And she now has as many skins as Kha'Zix, who was released in 2012.
I don't think Syndra belongs in your list OP. Her last skin was in 2017. That year she got two skins an esport skin and Star Guardian. I almost always see a Syndra with the Star Guardian skin. Her Star Guardian skin seems to be a pretty good seller. They even made merchandise based on her Star Guardian skin. What is strange is her not getting a skin by now. She is considered one the hotter female champions, in the same league as Irelia, Akali. Caitlyn, ect. I bet she will get a skin soon. I would love for her to get a pool party skin.

: Goes to show, Riot's own skin tiers don't make sense. What's the difference between Birdio that is 975 and Pizza Delivery Sivir that is 1350? They both have new models, new VFX, a recall, new sounds and Birdio even has an entirely new dance. Aside from that, them giving Infernal VFX (it's literally a copy paste of Pentakill's VFX), when it's a 520 shouldn't have happened when Lord Morde is 975. Either Riot needs to stick to their own skin tier criteria and give it VFX at least or they need to lower the cost of Lord Morde.

Either Riot needs to stick to their own skin tier criteria and give it VFX at least or they need to lower the cost of Lord Morde. Sivir is a popular character. Where Birdio, Galio, is not. The only reason I bought Birdio is the lower cost. Had the skin been 1350 I probably wouldn't have bought Birdio. There are several reasons Sivir is a popular chamion, Sivir is a young attractive character where Galio is not. She is a ADC, which historically have always been good sellers. Top and Jungler champions have never been good sellers with a few exceptions like Riven, Jayce ect. I think their pricing is based on the quality of the skin and the popularity of the champion. Had Riot sold Birdio at 1350, they probably would have lost more money, than selling the skin at 975. Riot could just leave those champions as is. It's not like they are making a lot of money from updating champions, which aren't that popular to begin with. A partial update is better than no update. As for Akali, she is popular so she got the full update treatment. Truth is that popular old champions get a full update while those less popular get a partial update to their skins. Riot did mention a few months back that their updates weren't going to be as detail or thorough. It seems coincidence that they made this statement after all the popular champions got their update. What's left are the unpopular champions.
: As a sexist gamer, I'm offended
I say having more customizable characters. That way people can change their character's look to better suit their prefer physical appearance and clothes. A mix and match system for different skins would be better for skins. Girls play a lot of theSims and that game has lot of customization. Everything from your house, character, clothes, ect. I really like what they did with the Coven line of chromas that have something for everyone. Like to show skin, there is one or two chromas. Like no skin showing, there are one or two chromas that cover Camille. It's a good balance. I prefer skins like Gun Goddess MF, KDA skins, or Star Guardians. At end, Riot will do whatever is more profitable. If that means bikin clad males, then they will do that. If that means Victorian cover female skins, then they will do that. Riot sale metric will determine what is created. Buy what you like and don't buy what you don't like. Is the only thing we can do as a consumer.
: I always get killed when i play a ranged top
From what I seen over the years in pro matches, a range top usually has to have some kinda of cc to prevent an all in. For example Ryze, Neeko, Viktor, ect. Most ADC aren't good for the top due to their lack of cc or/and non mobility. For example, if enemy top freezes the wave near his tower as an Ahse or MF will have to get closer to their side of the map to kill minions and risk getting gank by jungler or dived by enemy top. If the enemy top has mobility and some cc, then there is no way to escape outside of your flash once the enemy top is on you. Even worst if they have a mallet or a snare.
: Are the Academia skins worth the buy?
The only skin worth buying is the Kata skin. The rest have so many skins made that if you main any of the other characters you probably already have a good recent looking skin for that character. Besides, Kata doesn't get that many skins so when one does come out it's usually worth getting that skin, that's assuming you player her. Her last skin was that Halloween skin. She hasn't gotten a skin since then I believe. The rest of the new academy skins are for champions that regularly have gotten a skin since that Halloween Kata skin. I see no point in getting the Lux skin if you already have her ultimate skin. The prestige skin is inferior to her ult skin and her regular academy skin is comparable to her other non ult skins. Unless you really like these academy skins that you will use them regularly over there other skins, then getting them is a waste of money. Be aware that you can't sell skins you don't use or don't want anymore. Items you collect in real life can be sold on the second hand market, unlike skins in game. Get a skin cause you will use it, but don't get it just to collect it. I used to collect skin in this game, but stop collect them cause you can't sell them if you don't want or don't use them anymore. I would only buy a skin if I know I will use it a good portion of the time or make it my main skin for a particular champion. For example, Ash I usually use her Project and less regularly championship skin. Once in a blue moon, I use her Cosmetic skin.
