: Why am i being put up against higher rank people?
Your rank is still being determined while in your placements. The provisional rank you receive after your first game only shows you the lowest rank you can achieve during your Ranked placements. As you continue your placements, your rank will be adjusted to reflect your ability. After 8 or 10 placement games (I have no idea if Riot has made changes since Season 9), your actual rank will be determined and shown to you. If you continue to perform better than your current rank after your placements, you will continue to see higher ranked players in your games as your MMR (Matchmaking Rating) is much higher than your visible rank. League attempts to resolve this by increasing LP gain per win and skipping Ranked Promotions until your MMR matches your visible rank. If you have any other questions, feel free to reply here! ^-^

Champions that are part of the free champion rotation are not considered champions you own and will not add to your total owned champions. ---- As for not seeing Ranked Borders; you are probably not being matched with players that have a rank. Since the beginning of Season 9, Ranked Borders update as you rank up and does not show your previous season rank as it did in previous seasons. As you near Level 30, you will most likely start seeing more Ranked players in your games. The Blitz App is allowed as it is simply a combination of op.gg and champion.gg which uses the Riot Games API. As for the auto-import, it does not provide the player with a gameplay advantage as build and rune information is open to the public.

When running the HRT, make sure to select the "Reinstall" box and click Start. After the reinstall is completed, restart your computer and check to see if you are able to get to the landing page. Hey Embe, Once you buy a champion via the Store, you will be able to gain Mastery Points and earn other rewards for playing the champion. You will receive rewards whether you win or lose. Keep in mind that you only receive Mastery Points in matchmade PvP games and not in Coop vs. Al games.
