: +1 I completely agree. The constant dangling of "The Dream" Riot shoves in our faces holds many people captive. They want that shiny border, they want that shiny challenger jacket, they want that LCS dream, they want their life to have meaning because we've tied our League rank into our very value in life somehow. It is something I have been saying for years and the sad fact of the matter isn't necessarily they lack the talent (some do obviously), but rather that where there is a top of a pyramid, there is always a much larger base supporting them. By being in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Plat, you are enabling the Diamond, Master, and Challenger players to have their position. Not everyone in this game can be tops, some just won't make it and without the lowly casual or bad player, the LCS couldn't exist. It's the same for anything that has winners; any competition needs losers. It took me a while to quit after making this realization and for me it was reaching gold and getting the skin that broke me free. I saw how pointless it was and how it didn't hold any meaning to my life. I had just got off the summer of doing my dream job, I was getting married soon, and when I saw that Gold border and icon, I realized how much time and help from friends I had used to get it and now I had it and didn't care. My Ranked wasn't making my life any better -- what I was doing in life was and staying up late every night playing League causing me to lose sleep was not helping me enjoy my life as it was changing. I basically kept getting on to chat with friends, but the lure of Ranked let loose it's grasp on me. I've now drifted from stopping Ranked to sometimes not even playing Norms. I mostly do ARAM and bots because I don't enjoy the game as much anymore when I'm playing ultra competitive and I don't like the direction the game is going either (I'm a support main). Thanks for sharing your story. Hopefully it will inspire more to stop the needless, unfun, painless grinding in hopes of getting that one higher tier that doesn't mean anything at the end of the day. Fun needs to return to League.

The OP had a reality check. Thats not Riots fault lmao Any iperson that watches the LCS and DREAMS of such is a complete idiot and needs to develop a realistically sense of reality. Like the fact that they are GOING TO DIE. Their parents are going to DIE. War is everywhere. Shall I go on? OP's reality came at a heavy cost. Im glad he finally got it.
: Why I quit league of legends after 6 years of play.
This is why I play maybe 1-2 games a day, if even, and Im done. Too much work to climb respectively. Losses due to arrogance and completely unskilled are not worth it. I play to maintain Silver, and I chillax, just so I can feel gratified that I have a silver border.
: Riot Games is doing better than ever
This game keeps getting better and better. Its supplied me with entertainment for MANY years now, and was worth EVERY bit of money I spent on champs and skins. This is one of VERY FEW companies to which I can say Im happy to give money to, aside from the pleasures and aesthetic benefits from my purchases, because this company respects me in ways MOST other companies have not. I support companies like RIOT-

: Fiddlesticks' Design is the Problem Not Power Levels
I jungle Fiddle sticks often, so Im glad I can contribute to this thread. I will tell you that out of the many games 'Ive jungled Fiddlesticks this season, the HARDEST thing about jungling him is mastering the Ultimate. Positioning, such as ulting past the enemies and yet having them in-between you and your allies so they become trapped between them and the out edges of your ulti, and who to cc, are the only factors when mastering it. Its really not that difficult. A good fiddle Jungle is NOT going to Ult jump over terrain to Gank if he notices the champion(s) on the enemy team are hesitant to come nearer to his Jumping point because of wards, or if they run back due to having seen him via a ward nearby. A good fiddle sticks is paying attention to the reaction of the team when near. His Ult jumping routine is merely a patience play. Its a learned skill, and yet is not that difficult. He is Easily countered in the Jungle, and very heavily reliable on Blue Buff, but a good Fiddle jungle KNOWS that he needs BLUE right OFF from the start so he can drain away the field before he first goes B. Should he get countered, as I have been, before first B whilst having blue buff, Ive rarely ever had issues draining away the counter jungling play along with a fear and silence. Most of my ultimates after early game dont always involve me ult jumping over terrain either. I know better than to engage in a team fight with an enemy team that has ample opportunity to retreat. This is where positioning comes into play. Once a team fight is engaged, I run up and ult in given majority of the enemies are already busy trying to fight the near squishies/tanks. I will Only engage a team fight via Ult if My flash is up. The weaknesses you described are nothing more than learning curves when playing fiddle sticks. This applies to every champion though, So Im going to say leave him unchanged, Please.

If we get punished by the tribunal, you'll get a pardon. I too had no choice but to dodge with having the Fuzzy Screen scenario as you described above.

: Ranked placement.
Well, so far I've played about 10 ranked games since my promos whilst in b3. Im stable.. but not advancing. Im still in the lower end of b3. I had figured my mmr would have placed me with better groups as to help me advance quicker, but i guess not, or my groups were utterly just bad.
: Ranked placement.
Yea thats horrible.
