: Ex-Rioter Stellari on the Divide between Unpopular and Popular skin sales
If Riot's stance is "well, the champs unpopular and making a skin wouldn't make us much money. We'd rather make another popular champ skin that will make bank", Lol will be doomed to fail. Sure, keep making the popular champion skins, but understand how important it is to create skins for the unpopular champions. It helps the game feel less stale (ie. always seeing Ahri's, and Lux's) and energizes players you love unpopular champions to continue playing.
: The feel and gameplay of current "events" and a bit on how to fix them.
I actually really like your suggestion (and also feel the current "events" feel lackluster). Considering Riot recently said that their game modes team won't be looking at doing things like Odyssey and similar PvE events again because of the cost, I think a PvE on the rift would fit well. Similar to doom bots in the fact that it's a co-op vs AI game mode but something a little extra is added in (Roaming Dragons? new exciting items? Big battle boss AI's?) This also give Riot incentive to create more AI for champions as there's only a handful that have AI. The workload would be much less than what was needed to create something like Odyssey (re-using maps, game modes and AI) and would be a fun and interesting new way to play and learn the lore.

: I'm on my lunch break again! Lets chat :D
Developer here! In many of my workplaces, it's always been encouraged to "make things easier". What I mean is, I might spend a week working on a tool, but said tool will save 2 hours every week. I now have 2 hours freed up every week to work on other things which eventually will be a net bonus on the weeks worth of time I spent initially. (this is overly simplified) The same goes for having a knowledge base or a team notes area. I can spend much less time researching something that's already been done before. Creating automation tools and knowledge bases eats up a lot of time I could be doing cool things but ends up saving me a lot of time later on. Even when it doesn't, it makes my job feel better as I'm not fixing the same things over and over again. Do you know id Riot invests in doing these things? I know there's been a few bugs that crop up again and again and am wondering if it's just a struggle testing everything for every change or a lack of investment of tools to help catch those things? (ie. if we ever see any being able to infinitely stun again, we know that's not a test case being checked for changes)
: [Suggestion] New "Quick play" option to get into games faster.
I actually really like this idea (and the design!). It looks like a combination of blind, draft, and team builder all in one. I would be interested to see riot test this idea out. If they removed bans, this would be a really cool replacement for blind pick. Most times I go into blinds, I'm just itching to play a certain champion (hell, same with draft most the time). This definitively would allow for more time playing the game and less time in menus as it takes the whole pick/ban phase right out. The only additions that are needed are: 1) summoner spells for each role 2) runes for each role Runes may be a sticking point as there are only 2 free runes pages (maybe that means they can give us another 3 free?).

: Changes to Eternals
I think the real problem is that they went and built this whole thing expecting to monetize it. They likely put a lot of time a resources into this because of those expectations. The actual features are cool and interesting, but they needed to talk to the fanbase about this before creating eternals. They would've quickly learned that 1) We would love to see this and 2) Monetizing it would be very polarizing. I'm still not sure why they haven't introduced paid voiceover packs. I've seen people asking for it for YEARS and many people would gladly pay money for them. I think they need to send out more feelers on big things like this so they don't blow up in their face

: Can we finally buff vision?
There actually is quite a bit of vision in the game, it's just different and "counterable" I guess you could say. All 5 players have the option for a ward trinket. Some will choose sweepers, but I feel the majority will have a warding trinket. Thats 3+ players that can gain vision anywhere on the map. These vision wards are also invisible so the enemy won't know you see them unless they 1) saw you place the ward or 2) Have something to "counter" it (sweepers, red wards, etc). The support player also will buy an item that gives the team 3 more active wards (so 6+ active wards on the map now). Most players _should_ be buying red wards whenever they can as 1) it's an extra ward for the team and 2) it "counters" normal wards. These wards are not invisible but that's the trade-off for being able to deny vision as well as grant it (with each player allowing to have 1 active red ward on the map, that's bringing the teams wards to ~11+ on the map) Moving away from wards, we also have scuttle crabs. Each team ideally will have one scuttle crab vision's worth. This is also at a key location as it covers the middle of the river (can spot roams/ganks) and is right next to an important objective (dragon/baron/herald). If we count this as a "ward", that's 12+ wards on the map. Finally, there are the vision orb plants in the jungle that can give temporary vision and identify invisible wards. Considering a team can have around 12 "wards" on the map at any given time, that is a TON of vision. Yes, there are ways to get rid of these wards through trinkets, items, and jungle plants, but that just makes warding/vision another battle you are waging with the enemy.
: What changes would you want to see in Twisted Treeline?
Truthfully, I'd just like them to actually care about TT. They aren't removing it because there are just enough players interesting in playing it, but the popularity is low so they mostly ignore it. If this continues, TT is looking at being scrapped in the coming years. Have some events around it or something. Drum up popularity and interest. Something. When TT first came out, it was awesome because it was so much faster paced than SR. Games lasted a whole 20 minutes compared to the usual 60. Since release, SR games go quicker (~30?) and is quite fast paced. TT I feel has lost its identity. To start I feel it needs at least: A river (for champs and runes that are based on the river in SR) One way entrances in bases like in SR so you can get out of the base faster An updated jungle (SR has Skuttle crab, Red buff, Blue buff, Dragons, Elder dragon, rift herald, and baron. TT has Vile Maw and i guess technically the alters?) This would make it feel more current. I know some others have mentioned adding turret plating and more bans but I feel this would just slow the game down and not really add anything. TT should be a quicker more interactive intimate experience in my opinion

: Just please, don't overbuff Qiyana because of her wr now.
Wholeheartedly agree. I've only played her in a few games but she feels nice. Still learning how best to play her so my scores are pretty garbage. I'd hate to see her overbuffed, become super oppressive, then nerfed to the ground. Right now she feels fun to play albeit hard to figure out.

: Why I think Zyra's design approach after MYMU was wrong
I agree that Zyra needs some much needed love. She felt so fun to play in past years. She still feels ok to play now, but her impact feels much less. With her two main spells essentially being a T shape, they really don't have much synergy. I'd agree that changing her Q back to a circle would feel much better. Really the main thing, as you said, is her plants feel very underwhelming. With how little they actually stay alive, they do next to no damage. Meanwhile you look at heimerdinger who has nice beefy turrets it just makes me sad. Her plants need beefing up so they can actually impact. Her snare is so low because her plants are expected to continue to slow enemies down. This doesn't really happen when they die instantly.

: It sounds like you had some rough games there. Looking at the match too, you did super well to help carry your team to victory and definitely deserved the win. Many players have already said this in comments but what I do want to mention here is that many players use third-party sites to psych themselves out before a game even begins. Visual rankings are *NOT* 1 to 1 to MMR, which is what matchmaking looks at when creating a team. The system is never actually against you. It works to try to match you with and against players so that you have as close as a 50/50 chance of winning every game, including promos. Looking at the stats for the game (might be a little off since some have played games since then), the match was fair and even on both sides. The system actually matched that game with your team having a higher % to win. I want to share this because matchmaking is always a frequent inquiry we get in support where players feel it is unfair but the system works as it is intended to.

Thanks for the reply Keyru! I think you've actually highlighted what frustrates many players (myself included!). It's that visual rankings don't really show how good you are but most players believe it is the proof of how well someone plays. MMR being hidden causes us to only have the visual ranks to look at. This also causes an issue where, lets say 2 players should actually be at gold 1 and are currently at silver 4. One may find their way to gold 1 fairly easy while the other actually struggles to get there. After enough games, they should both be at gold 1. The problem being that, before that end point, both players skills are perceived as different and this can cause some anguish for the player that takes longer to get to gold 1. They might even stop playing. If MMR was visible, or even some stat that said "you're playing at a gold 1 level" might help players understand that they just need to play more for their visible ranking to match up to what their actual calculated is. That or get rid of the best of 3/5 promos as it just seems to add a grind and frustration. Id be more in favor of this than anything else

: To Taliyah Mains: What Do You Want to See?
I started getting into Taliyah last season and loved her. Did not like her move to the jungle. Currently she feels ok but lacks oomph. I do agree with you it would be great to see her kit revolve more around getting the E/W combo. Considering it's cooldown and damage, it really doesn't feel all to impactful unless it's against squishies. This could allow her Q to be more of a CS/poke tool rather than the main source of all her damage
: Nocturne the true eternal nightmare rework suggestion
I like the thought behind these abilities. At his core, Noc should be scary for people to face. He just doesn't feel like that right now (minus his ult). He was my first champ I really wanted to main years ago. I'd love to see him remade into something truly spooky :)
: This damage is ridiculous
Damage is high but this video does a poor job of justifying that complaint. 1) MF is 2 levels ahead so she will do more damage to a squishier Jihn. 2) The was the first hit on Jihn so MF's passive activates and gives her something like 83% more AD on that one hit. 3) It looked like the Q crit. Q does another +100% damage if it crits 4) MF is building items that are meant to kill squishies MF is getting all of this and doesn't 1 shot Jihn. She is ahead and punishes a behind Jihn for being out of position and then needs to ult to secure the kill. This sounds very reasonable to me. If you're ahead and building items to kill X type of champion, you should be able to easily kill X type of champion.
: Why I No Longer Support
Funny enough, this is why I no longer want to play ADC in the new season. I started off as a midlaner back in the day. Slowly transitioned to a support player for a season, then to a laner that played mid laners regardless of lane. This passed season I moved to ADC. Mostly because the group I usually played with didn't have a dedicated ADC. The beginning of the season felt fairly good. I'm not the best ADC but if I did well in lane, I felt it usually translated into me having a strong presence late game. With the changes in the past season, I had many games where I felt I spent most of my time dead or walking back to lane. It was incredibly un-fun. Even when I did well, if an assassin on the enemy team did well, my small lead didn't mean much and I would get slaughtered mid-game. I've decided to hang up my ADC hat and go back to playing mid laners regardless of which lane I'm in. I don't think I'll be revisiting the ADC role (or bot for that matter) anytime soon.
: Taliyah is trash now. pm me when she gets a buff. fortnight?
I recently started playing Taliyah again. I play her mid. After the patch she felt much better to play using her Q. The cooldown being reverted really does feel nice. I also love that worked ground doesn't stay so long. I'd use my Q 2-3 times and then have to spend the next 2 minutes relying on the 1 mana, 1 rock, 11 second cooldown Q. That being said, her Q damage does leave something to be desired. I loved when it was AOE but that might not be the best change as I could see her being too good at competitive and then just being nerfed to the ground. Rather, I'd like to see the Q damage fall off differently. Like rocks 1-5 do 100%, 87.5%, 75%, 62.5%, 50% damage. It'd be a nice in-between damage-wise.

: I like how everyone except ADCs says that riot favors ADCs
ADC player here (but mid at heart). I know playing ADC, if I'm not ahead (and worse, if I'm falling behind), I do nothing. My main focus is deal that sweet sweet damage. If I can't do that, I'm useless (and it feels not too fun to play). I like where the current state is. I know that before, crit was way too good and I would instantly start popping off after I rushed my I-Edge. I like ADC being a glass cannon type role. It incentives your team to keep you alive in team fights for as long as possible and for the enemy team to try and find a way on you. If ADC's do so much damage that they can peel for themselves, that feels a little wrong. That is what crit builds felt a little like. In regards to diversity in bot lane. The biggest problem is that some marksmen don't fit too well elsewhere. They were built to be baby-sat by a loving support. They don't fair well alone. If we really want diversity bot lane, I think marksmen need to be changed up to not be pigeon-holed into bot lane
: Did i seriously get banned for this ?
I think it would be worth asking riot to un-permaban you. While the chat log you showed isn't too toxic, I can see why it would count as a strike/ban. Combined with the previous 14-day ban, a perma is just the next step. I do think you need a lengthy chat ban. Not as punishment but to help curb your behavior on the rift. People can be toxic as hell in games, but that doesn't mean we need to defend ourselves through toxicity. Even if you feel the bubbling rage, I like trying to be oozing with positivity. "Ah, Graves totally rekt me" "Won't be able to gank right away guys, sorry :(" "This graves is countering me so hard. Mb team" "Not having the best game today" The biggest thing is not calling out any of your teammates (no matter how poorly they are playing. Or how toxic they are).
: if you only could use 6 champions
{{champion:21}} {{champion:236}} {{champion:1}} {{champion:69}} {{champion:163}} {{champion:131}} I recently picked up Lucian and quite like him with MF as my ADC i played a lot (a little too much) this season. Annie has always been a comfortable pick since I started playing. Taliyah and Cass are both fun champs I like to pick up now and then. Diana is the weird one of the bunch. I love/hate her. I want her to be so much more than a face-roll.

: 99LP in ranked doesn't feel very rewarding..
I'm not sure about giving "free" LP to get you to that sweet sweet 100. But you do raise a good point. If you win a game at 99LP and gain 26LP for example, 25 of that LP is lost to the void (or at least it seems like it because we don't see our LP anymore in promotion games). Winning or losing your promos still doesn't feel great in regards to that extra 25LP. I feel, if you win your promos, that extra LP should be added to your next bracket (ie start at 25LP rather than 0LP). If you lose, that 25LP can be added to your LP so you don't have to win ~2 games to get back into promos. Hell, if it's enough, why not just be put directly back into another promos? Win or lose, that extra 25LP is likely been spent. TBH, I'd prefer they just do away with promos as they just feel frustrating for those trying to climb.

: i hate playing against Diana
As someone who use to play Diana, she really does need some sort of rework. Her whole kit is "face roll and hope you kill them". They consider Diana a fighter but she does a piss-poor job at that. I'd like to see her kit updated to more in line with current assassins or have her more bulky and actually feel like a fighter.

Logged in to upvote. Very well said. I usually step in and say things like "Hey lets not use X word" or "Lets leave Y player alone, they're just not having a great game" because I don't want to see certain behaviours on League. In your post, that player using the word "autistic" as an insult is not something I'd like to see in any game I'm in. It's totally ok to question someones play (especially in a constructive manner!) but throwing out language like that is poison. It affects everyone seeing it, not just the one it's aimed at. If someone does something questionable, it is much more productive to say "Lol Garen, I guess mistakes were made xD" than "Wow our Garen is autistic. What even was that play". At the end of the day LoL is a game. You can either choose to play the game and have fun with it, even in losing situations or you can throw out insults to, what, make someone feel bad? As an aside, it seems like "autistic" is the new insult word now that "gay" has left. I remember when people (myself included back in the day) used to throw out "Omg, that's so gay" like it was nothing. Seeing language slowly transform into things like "Damn, I just got rekt" whereas before it was "Damn, I just got raped" was interesting. The language gamers used seemed to be more positive/neutral. Now "autistic" seems to be the new insult of choice as it's not homophobic or racist so some seem to think it's ok to throw out.

: I think making a permanent and fast paced game mode was one of Riot's best decisions so far
That was what 3's was when it was released. I remember playing it and being blown away at how fast things went. Team fights before 5 minutes? Unheard of (esp when SR games went for ~1h). I really like the fast pace, the events, and the new map. It really keeps things fresh.
: Idea: you’ve mentioned that clash failed due to the insane number of games starting at the same time. You’ve addressed how to fix that issue above. Could another issue arise due to the number of games active? So say out of 100 games, you’ll start 25, then 2 minutes later you’ll start another 25, then 2 minutes later another 25 and so on. When all 100 games eventually start will the servers be able to handle it? (Yes, I realize there are way more than 100 games, it’s a simple example.)
Using your numbers above, It's more like 100 people waiting to get in a store. The store can hold way more than 100 people but it's entrance can only let so many people in at a time. If the entrance can let 25 people in at a time, it'd make sense to stagger when people come in (ie. creating a line/queue). If you let all 100 people in at the same time, some may get trampled (ie. games dropped). I don't know Riot's infrastructure and code but I'm assuming it's something similar to that

A region where you need to prove you're worth anything beyond that 15 minute mark or they will _ALL _ go mid. There is no leaver buster over there and computer cafe's $charge$ by the hour. If you're goofing off and having fun at other peoples expense, that's fine. Just be a considerate human being and accept that your "fun" is done at 15... Then you can be someone else's problem. > > It really pisses me off that someone can ruin a game and the person that wants to ff is, somehow, the bad guy because he hurt their feelings. Like, really? Weren't you the one who caused the situation? If so, then you're the problem. You don't really deserve a say on who is and isn't toxic. You don't get to talk about your feelings. What you get to do, is stfu and agree to surrender. Otherwise, _**you're**_ the problem. > > I fail to understand the audacity of these people who feel justified in demanding someone else waste their time, beyond 15 minutes, and pour everything they have into that one game that they ruined... Why does that person deserve all this? They didn't put any effort into looking up what they needed or enough into learning from it, but you're supposed to be on your grind and hard carry them? Last I checked, teamwork required everyone to play a part. So, if you want people to stick around, then you should earn it. Its stupid to say that people who put in the effort should be banned because they don't wanna linger longer than 15 in a pointless game. > > Dear Riot. make the 15 minute ff the same as the others... Or so fucking help me. -__- (You may down vote now) I can understand being frustrated and feeling held hostage in a league game. I've had a few games here and there where I'm no longer having fun (usually as ADC when i spend most of my time walking to lane and watching a grey screen) and a few where a group is trolling and just delaying a game. These types of situations are frustrating! But... while it may be frustrating, you are in charge of how you deal with your emotions. Me? I usually silently fume or just put up with it until the game is done. I usually stop playing league afterwards because I need a mental break and refresh myself. If the way you deal with it is to be toxic, that's on you. Nobody else but you. You can feel angry, frustrated, pissed off, etc. because others are not voting to surrender. That's totally fine. But lashing out at them because they won't do what you want (ie. click surrender)? That is not the type of behaviour Riot wants in this game. To be honest, I used to be toxic as well. Not so much in league chat, but over voicechat with friends. Not to the point of personal attacks, but I'd constantly point out misplays, sigh when my friends made poor plays, or get upset when we were losing badly. People stopped wanting to play with me because of this. I just wasn't fun to play games with. A few years back, someone sat me down an pointed out how I was toxic which really helped me curve me behaviour into something more positive (People like playing with me and I've made a few online friends through league because of it!). I'd urge you to take a good look at yourself. You don't need to spit your poisonous words at others, no matter how infuriating they are. There are more positive and constructive ways to deal with the emotions. Even AFK'ing instead is a start (still receive a penalty but I'd say it's better than the current approach). On a different note, your points about changing up the FF system and leavebuster are totally valid and worth exploring. I'm sure these things could be updated to help reduce player frustration and make league a more enjoyable experience.
: "just carry your team"
Had a plat player trying to carry their (clearly bronze) friend out of silver. The plat player was doing really well but their friend proceeded to feed 9 kills to the enemy Yasuo early on in the game. I felt like I was playing my *** off but the guy was just too heavy. Kept going in 1v3 when he was super far behind. Wasn't inting either.

: a gallery for people who visit someone's profile to view there highlights
League already has "important moments" in the match summary (ie. kills, objectives, etc). Combined with the spectator camera that seems to have some idea of where the action is, Rito could likely create an easy way to show off each games highlights. I'd LOVE to be able to easily and quickly share some awesome game highlights to my discord group. As it is right now, I have to comb through the whole reply and find the moment I made a play. I would definitely share highlights to social media if they make it easier to grab the important parts of replays.
: Tailyah changes (venting)
I dislike her speed being moved to her passive. She will have a much harder time in lane. The move speed from worked ground helped when you were ganked. Having it shifted to her passive, you can roam more quickly but that means squat if you're dead. Her Q changes, while I like the change to 1 mana cost on worked ground, the other changes have reduced her teamfight, poke, and mobility. Cool, I can still CS relatively well but that doesn't mean much if that's ALL I can do. Also I love how they reverted her Q cooldown to what it was a few patches ago. That gave me a good laugh. The W buff really feels like a slap in the face. "Sorry for messing with your champ, here's a cooldown buff!" E damage decreased at early levels??? At early levels I was relying on my Q for damage (Which has been changed). The initial and ending damage was more for champs that are trying to jump on me. This really feels like a "We didn't want to completely gut her Q so we just removed some damage from her E instead". If her R is being nerfed, can we at least have a "zoom out" for more vision? Similar to Zoe and Jhin's ults? I'd be more ok with the R nerf if we received this too.

I think that Honor 0 takes more honor to get to Honor 1 than Honor 2 to 3. It took me quite a while to get from Honor 2 Checkpoint 3 to Honor 3 even. It took a few weeks (sparsely playing, not like 10 games per day or anything that level) to get to Honor 3 from Checkpoint 3. > 2) Do you ACTUALLY get honored a lot (ruling out confirmation bias basically)? > 3) What does your chat in game look like? When considering honor increases, your chat logs are still kind of monitored (i think everyone's are). If you're still salty, but not over the top enough to get punished (or reported), that will reduce the amount of 'honor points' (let's call it that) per game you receive which can slow your getting to the next stage. You mentioned being nice. Unfortunately, that's a subjective position. It's really hard to judge that statement. It's easy to say, but really, I've seen a lot of people who post their logs saying they weren't salty at all. However, when you read their logs, they're pretty darn salty. This question is probably harder to answer due to this. > 4) Are you in premades/honored by your premade? I don't think that honored from premades really count. It doesn't give the honor flare next game, so I think it's severely reduced 'honor points' or none at all. 1. Almost 3 weeks now 2. Number 3 might really be what's holding you back. While you may not be saying toxic things in-game, telling someone "hey don't do that, that's dumb" or constantly pointing out their mistakes can reflect poorly on you. It likely won't get you banned at any point but it can tilt some players. Using positive language helps! "Hey guys, can we get dragon instead?" "We should group mid and take mid tower" would be some examples. That language can sound more leadership-like rather than just put-downs. With any luck, your teammates will recognize your positive type language and maybe even give you an honour! (Also, "gj" and "nice play"'s can help when you see your team get kills/towers) I can tell you from experience that when I have a teammate pointing out my mistakes, I start playing worse. When that game ends, win or lose, you can be sure that I am not honouring that player. While being nice is all good and dandy, being positive is what boosts your honor. :) I hope that helps!

Being a developer myself, fuck ups happen. You don't get fired for them. Software (especially a game like LoL) gets incredibly complicated and every change can introduce unintended side effects. Side effects that are hard to predict and therefore hard to find in testing. Firing someone for a bug that wasn't fixed ASAP would have the entire dev team fired within a year. It makes more sense to keep developers on than to fire and hire someone new who would have to learn everything there is to know about LoL (I'm assuming at this point, it takes Riot developers quite awhile to get up-to-speed on all the nuances of LoL). Sometimes bugs are discovered in the 11th hour. Sometimes what you think is a simple fix that can be resolved before launch ends up being so much more involved than you initially thought. Both of these scenarios can cause you to miss deadlines. It is a reality of development work.
: List of things you'd like to see RIOT implement into League?
Searchable/Nicer summoner icon selection UI. I have 100+ summoner icons and when I get a new one through a chest, it's becoming harder and harder to find it as they are organized by release date I believe. Also they are just pictures and not the name: "OOO friendo! that's a really cool icon! What icon is it?" "Uhhh... that's a good question".

: I truly believe I was wrongfully banned. Please tell me what you think.
Looking just at this one situation, No. I believe you shouldn't have been banned. Considering it was a permanent (and you mentioned you had a 14 day ban a month ago?), then we start getting into "wellllll maaaaaybe it was deserved". Even though this game chat looks like a non-issue, the fact that you may have a history of toxic behavior would be why you got hit with the perma-ban. This becomes doubly so if your team is flaming you in discord and you are responding via LoL chat. Riot doesn't have access to discord chats so it looks worse on you (which sucks, and should not happen, but it does). Being perma-banned sucks and the last straw that broke the camels back looks like you shouldn't have been banned for it. The fact of the matter is though that you have been banned before so this starts to look like a pattern :(.
: I have a cool idea for a Taliyah Q change that would be really interesting!
I actually really like this small change. As it stands, I usually want to hit 2-3 shards and really don't care about the 4th or 5th hit unless I'm trying to get a kill/hard harass. It would be nice to get a little something for hitting all 5 shards. It's fairly easy to miss/dodge just one of the shards so I don't see this being too crazy. Obv I'm a little biased though ;)

I'm on a Desktop with an AMD graphics card. My FPS used to hover around ~300. Now I'm at ~100 FPS with drops here and there that cause the game to stutter. Also got this desktop 2 years ago and am only starting to see FPS issues now.

I still have fun. But when my team gets super negative just bashing LoL and Riot.... and then proceed to make questionable plays because they don't care... and the fed enemies start 1 shotting me.... then I stop having fun.

Hell, even {{champion:420}} tentacles have 2 solid hits when she's around them. Zyra's plants die in one hit from Melee. They're lucky if they get one or two hits off. They do more damage than Heimies turrets but they never live long enough to do anything meaningful.

Well first off, the enemy team actually performed worse overall on the first one and the most fed(top) was 3 kills over their most fed(bot) and died less as well yet they still lost? Why? Because the ADC was fed. Uness you have been living under a rock and not actually playing this game, bot lane is all that matters. Edit: Looked you up and sure enough you main support. i rest my case.
There was >50 kills on each team. Most people were close, if not full build. At that point, one bad team fight can mean GG. The game looked close, but it likely came down to a team fight that they lost. It happens. Every other game looks like either the team didn't do well and the enemy also had someone fed, or the enemy was taking more objectives (barons, towers, dragons).

Agreed. I play adc/mid mostly. When I'm ADC, I only do really well when I have an awesome support. Mediocre supp? I may do well but not likely. 1-2 kills early/midgame at most. Bad supp? I'm not getting any kills. A good support allows an ADC to shine.
: {{champion:110}} - His lore changes don't really match him being a mad killer tormenting his foes before closing in on the kill (his Q is the only ability in the game that fits his lore). His kit other than W and R don't feel impactful, E and Q won't be dealing any damage on their own because everyone builds on-hit on him making Q and E only be used for Blight stacks. He is in general one of the weaker of the (2 Darkins {{champion:141}} {{champion:266}}). Aatrox is going to get teased next week and I can already tell that he's going to be awesome. Varus will be the only Darkin Champion left forgotten. * I would want to get rid of the power from his W and spread it equally across his kit so his abilities actually felt equally impactful as his W is now. * I would like to see a more unique, interesting passive other than an attack speed steroid. >*** {{champion:32}} - I don't know where to start with Amumu. His Visuals are really in need of an update on particular, there was an image online that showed someone's visual update for him ( https://us.v-cdn.net/5021068/uploads/editor/zw/6k4o3jrib6vq.png ). * I think his kit is fine the way it is but maybe change his E most of all because it doesn't really add up to the rest of his kit. * Maybe move the damage reducement from physical attacks to his W when it's active. >*** {{champion:56}} - He is described to be a Demonic Wraith. What I find weird about Nocturne visually is why he needs blades attached to his hands. When Wraiths commonly use their hands to slash through anything since their hands/fingers are as sharp as blades (example: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/lotc-creature-index/images/a/a4/Wraith.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150826225640 ). There is this visual that I saw online that perfectly sums up what Nocturne is supposed to look like ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mKgN1 ). All of Nocturne's abilities don't feel unique or interesting, his ult is the only unique ability and it's the only impactful ability he has. * So it would be nice to see a complete VGU for Nocturne, but leaving his Ult the way it is.
I totally agree with your comments on Nocturne. He was one of the first champs I picked up years back. I thought he was really cool and loved his ult. In the current state of the game, is Q,W, and E all feel really lack luster. I love that they are giving him some tiny buffs but he really does need an update. His E takes quite awhile to go off and only really works well with completely isolated champs with low mobility. It works better with his ult and Q but it makes him feel slow and clunky. His W help's for those 1v1 skirmishes and rewards you with more attack speed if you pull it off. It's not bad but really doesn't feel like it fits Noc. It really feels like a way to allow him to ult successfully without being instantly 100/0'd when he jumps to someone. Would love to see something more nightmare-y/wraith-like. His Q also makes him feel clunky. It's not that fast moving. It give's you a little more attack damage when you're on it (boring) and allows you to move a little faster to chase enemies (also boring). His spells feel clunky and all centered around his ult. While his ult is really cool and I love it, I wish his other THREE SPELLS felt more in line with his character. I mean, why doesn't he have invis/camo? I am more scared of a Kha or Rengar jumping out of a bush than I am when I see an enemy Noc ult. #MakeNocturneScaryAgain Edit: Just updating champs like {{champion:56}} and {{champion:54}} not to be "ult then mash your other 3 spells" type of champs would be nice

What I mean is that, when i load into the game, I can't play with the only goal, or only reason to play, to be to win. I went through a time, where playing to win was extremely enjoyable. Hoping into ranked, with the idea that If i do good and work with my team we can win. Sadly, that doesn't happen anymore. I've lost so many games recently, that if I played to win, I would simply quit this game. > > But the sad truth is I love League and I want to play it. So, I've decided to go on an adventure of getting every champ level 5 and eventually 7. This goal gives me something to play for other than the win. Don't think that means I don't play with the intent of winning, I do. Every game i get in i want to win. That mentality doesn't seem to be shared with my teams tho, so it's hard to play to win, when everyone around you wants to int and cry about it. I love having "mini-goals" in my LoL games. I picked up Taliyah awhile back and just insta-locked her toplane for quite a few games. I didn't expect to win my games. I went in with the mindset of wanting to learn the champion and really hone my Taliyah skills. After a few games I really started to get a hang of her. I started playing her mid after I was comfortable mechanically and started learning the "roam-game". I found that I could push lane hard but not really do much with it. I found that pushing it and then roaming top or bot for a gank worked out much better for my team. I'd roam and get a teammate fed and watched them carry the game later. I'm still learning things about Taliyah and LoL in general. I try to take my games as learning experiences on how to do better next time because my end goal is still to win ;)

: Dear Riot and the Community,
> - The new runes provide too much burst. I think that they should revert some of that burst power into base stats, especially defensive. You can see this problem very clearly. I just had a game where a 0/2 Darius with 50 less cs than his opposing top laner (basically irrelevant) get just two kills in a team fight before dying leading him to be 2/3 (at just 20 minutes!) and he had damage presence for the rest of the game because of the conqueror keystone stacking off the damage items he built from the gold. This. It can be very crushing to win your lane hard and still have the enemy laner have a presence in a fight. Top that off with them picking up a kill or two and suddenly they're back in the game? Likely has to do with the runes that are based off takedown's for each individual enemy champ. That darius got 2 kills? That's 2/5 stacks for his rune. TBF, I like the new runes that have bonuses given for unique enemy takedown's but they may be too game swinging?
