: Inferno Akali is the only Inferno skin not available to download
It may have been a legacy skin when it was Akali Crimson, but since the name changed to infernal, I see why it shouldn't be selling along with every other infernal skins.

Yeah Thanks. Infernal. Maybe the reason why all the clients are crashing because infernal alkali isn't available (: Hey are you seeing the same thing? Are all infernal skins available to you except for Infernal Akali?

agreed. This game literally sucks now. They totally destroyed the once a fun and cool game

: While I agree the games in decline, this just came off as an incoherent ramble. I could not extrapolate a single point from this. It sounds more like your champs aren't as strong as they have been and you're to burned out from playing for so long that you don't feel like learning a new champion. You only gave specifics on a single complaint, that you use to be able to do sooo much to make you playstyle unique with garen? Like what? Whether to go more one resistance type than the other?? Go damage? I'd say the new system offers way more interesting ways to play garen than simple stat buffs would have added.
Garen with movement speed runes and mastery that allowed Garen to move as fast as possible was so fun to play.

I have been waiting to play ultra rapid fire like forever. Every other game modes are not FUN. JUST NOT FUN. There is no reason why URP shouldn't be permanent when so many people likes to play it. What is wrong with rito.

: Dear Rito, Thank you very much for bringing back URF! Most people enjoy URF, me included. It's always funny when I forget that I have mana costs and cooldowns when I play norms afterwards. However, I feel like that a big part of the excitement is trying out the champs you want in URF. Sure, we can use customs, but it's a lot harder to get people (in my experience). So, I propose that you increase the number of bans instead. It's an easy way to prevent the same champions played again and again. Thank you for reading, and I hope that anyone who agrees would comment. :D
There are specific champions that I want to try playing in URF, and now I cannot pick them. Can you not make URF a random pick mode and can we have this mode open more often?
: WTF REALLY? I cant pick my champions in URF??? WTF? I want to pick the chmpions I want to play in URF. WHAT THE HELLLL??? IS THIS REALLY TRUE???

I still hate Soraka so much. When I play her, my teammates - mid adc top dont play well and we lose. But when enemy team gets it and has equal or little worst than us, soraka changes the whole ball game.
: I know that Ryze was strong in the high elo but then I thought then Riot would make other more smart choices. Like buffing LB, talon to have silence again. Fiora field to have longer healing time. not nerfing Corki etc. Ryze should be the standard at which other champion's strength is based on. Riot is nerfing all champions making the game boring. As if there is a smarter nerf for Ryze, that would be making Ryze's passive requirement to be 6 stacks, or 7 stacks. Or longer ultimate cool down. These things can make Ryze more vulnerable at certain times. I believe every champion should have strengths and weaknesses. I wish all champions have higher strength than current standard and clear weaknesses. Current Ryze nerf takes away so much fun out of playing Ryze.
Turns out that ryze is still very good. Esp with the buff given recently. I hope ryze doesnt change anymore. He is my main champian
: Ultra Rapid Fire
YES. That's the greatest idea since many years ago for Rito.

Any time! I love this sort of conversation. >I just think that it takes much fun out of each champions if you nerf them- and riot nerfed more champions than the ones you described. In the past three patches Riot has **nerfed** the following champions: * Gangplank * Kalista (debatable) * Miss Fortune * Trundle * Mundo * Elise * Kindred * Tahm Kench * Rengar (debatable) * Alistar * Corki * Graves * Jax * Poppy * Ryze * Zed My previous list of buffs ALSO had 16 champions on it, and two of these nerfs are actually debatable nerfs, as they were more power adjustments than outright nerfs. So the list is pretty even. Almost identical, in fact. Of these, Zed was tuned around an item that benefits him hugely, and several of the others got only light love taps. >Like LB silence, talon silence is gone. Silence is not a fun or skillful mechanic though -- it's a "no, you don't get to play" mechanic that oppresses the skill of your opponent. Both of those were auto-silence mechanics, with no way to counterplay them, on characters who can kill you outright within that window. There's no skill involved: just speed of button mashing. >Fiora's field is so short now. Ryze passive has now hard cap. Jinx attack speed so much slower. Kat less damage overall. etc. Without these nerfs it would be much more fun to play the game, and also to spectate games. Here's where we have to disagree. Fiora's new kit has a lot more skill involved (although her baseline skill requirement for moderate success is definitely lower since she's a little more durable) -- you have multiple moves that rely on positioning and timing. Kat has less burst, but is still a MONSTER in skilled hands in the right team -- she may not 100-0 you, but a good Kat will show off just how good she is by murdering your ENTIRE TEAM. Jinx's nerf was necessary to keep her from being THE dominant carry in both the early and late game. Ryze has severe mechanical and kit issues that extend beyond him being over / under powered, and this is (as Riot has said) more of a placeholder than a long-term fix. > I personally believe that the a team of 3 weak players and 2 incredible one SHOULD be able to defeat the team whose members merely do good teamwork. I disagree here as well. A team of average players with above-average teamwork should be able to systematically demolish a team of mixed skill players with worse teamwork, and should, in fact, have a good chance of winning against a team of BETTER players with worse teamwork. Team composition and strategy should be more important than individual player or champion strength -- I shouldn't pick Kog'Maw because he's strong and can single-handedly carry the game on my skill alone: I should pick him because my team is Amumu / Janna / Orianna / Xin Zhao, and I know I'll have the front line I need to become a monstrous carry. Otherwise player mechanical skill trumps teamwork, and then there's no reason to do anything but play the game to gain as much power for yourself as possible. **See, the issue is that even League's most complex champions are, at the end of the day, relatively simple compared to the mechanics of many other game genres. There's only so much gameplay depth an individual champion can have.** The REAL heart of League of Legends IS that teamwork -- how champions interact with each other in teamfights, what strategies they allow your team to utilize, how they handle objectives, when their moments of strength and weaknesses are...that's the deep game of League. >You want this game to be in depth right? Making Ryze's passive to have a hard cap takes so much away from experienced players - game is now shallow. It really doesn't -- it just pushes the game to one of "when do I pop this" instead of "how quickly can I spam buttons?" Ryze didn't have SKILLFUL play -- he had rote memory mastery play of "what combo gets me the most spells, and how quickly can I do it?" That's not a good pattern to have. It's also not depth -- it's just practice. It's like memorizing the algorithms to solve a Rubik's Cube quickly instead of being able to look at the cube and figure out the best way to solve it organically. One is basically just muscle memory, and the other shows a mastery of the puzzle at hand. ------------------ **IN CONCLUSION** Skill, depth, and mastery don't become evident from adding more champion power. Skill and mastery become evident from having champions with very clear moments of strength and weakness -- it's far easier to show how good a Katarina player you are, for example, when a BAD Katarina can't kill anything and dies instantly. Then when you hit the fight and pin-point target all the wounded targets, scoring an easy Pentakill, it's much more obvious that it's because you're a boss Katarina player. If Graves can out-duel anyone at any range, being a good Graves isn't rewarding -- anyone can do it. When Graves can out-duel anyone at CLOSE range it's much easier to show your skill: your positioning is such that you can always be near the targets you want to be near, while the bad Graves on the enemy team can't even get a shot off where he wants it. This is where depth comes in. Depth is mostly about emergent gameplay -- HOW you use a kit and WHEN you use a kit, not how perfectly you can do Ryze's combo or the fact that you could land every Alistar Q+E combo. It's about WHEN and WHERE and on WHO you use that combo. --------------------- **THAT SAID,** I'd be interested in hearing your argument for the opposing side. Why do you think an individual player's mechanical skill should be so dramatically rewarded? Should having good players matter MORE than having good teamwork? Why?
Thank you again for such a detailed post. Now I understand why League is becoming less and less fun. And this answers your question. Individual player's mechanical and other important skills (please dont be little stuffs that are not correct. Ryze was nerfed too. You didnt list him. your arguments have so many holes.) should be dramatically rewarded, and that mechanical skill should be able to be countered if played smartly. I think this because it is fun that way. Have you realized that people are playing the game so with so much absent of mind and thinking? People just play together and group; there are no longer fire in individual players's eyes. There is not as much fun in the players. Game is all about having fun. Now days, League has become a stressful place rather than a fun place. YES I feel frustrated with playing the game than having fun. I was Ryze main, and now new Ryze with 5 spellcast max, Ryze is not fun. It cant carry like it used to when played well. Everything you said clears the way to make League of Legend more dull and frustrating place. I hope some rioters can listen to what I am saying. I know you disagree with me, that's fine, but I think I have much better concept of the game. League of Legends should be a fun place. NOT a frustrating place. I hope champions all become back to being strong, and rioters focus more on individual's power rather than the team power. This is a harder challenge. And obviously to me, Rioters gave up balancing and creating strong champions, because now they are nerfing everyone - to make it balanced for the professional stage. The truth is most people are not professional gamers. It is okay to have some imbalances. Make champions strong again. And try your best to balance them. If you need my help, come hire me. I am so sorry to be so negative but I think this is true. On a positive note tho, I think Ultra Rapid Fire would be more fun now all champions are nerfed. Can we please make Ultra Rapid Fire a permanent mode? If you do, I will quit diamond ranking games, and play only URF. URF is fun. And fun is all I need. URF makes me laugh very hard. Ranking in solo queue is more frustrating and stressful than ever before.
: > [{quoted}](name=IGoToHarvard,realm=NA,application-id=A8FQeEA8,discussion-id=GLhydAfQ,comment-id=,timestamp=2016-02-14T18:19:18.930+0000) > League of Legends is a team game. It is a 5v5 game, and each person in the team has almost equal influence to get the team the victory. Correct. This is intended, and completely by design. >This is a hugely problem in rank plays and degrades solo queue rank plays (which I believe is the core experience of LOL game itself), Riot appears to disagree, with the recent shift towards Dynamic Queue and the associated rewards. They are putting Solo Queue back in, but have said several times that they feel Dynamic Queue is going to become the primary League Ranked experience. >Now with shut down golds shared upon teammates This is an anti-snowball mechanic for TEAMS, not for individuals. If you're behind as a team it's actually more useful to give everyone gold that give more gold to a single person -- it means your power is more evenly distributed, so the ahead enemy team can't simply single out your one fed character. >literally every champions are being nerfed. Champions buffed in the past three patches: * Akali * Ekko * Gragas * Kog'Maw * Xin'Zhao * Ziggs * Karma * Nunu * Bard * Fiddlesticks * Kha'Zix * LeBlanc * Mordekaiser * Riven * Teemo * Rumble Champions are still buffed and nerfed. Some are very strong and are tuned down repeatedly (Graves being a good example right now), but champions are NOT being nerfed across the board, and many are being buffed. >Why not just leave all champions strong as they were? Because League is a game balanced and designed around team play, NOT around one player carrying the game. While one player CAN carry a game, this should be an exception and a proof of incredible skill rather than a common occurrence. >It would be harder to balance champions with them stronger but I believe rioters can do it, if you cant hire me then I will work on it. If champions are stronger and have clear weaknesses in them, players would be more actively engaged in the game by either slaughtering the enemy team or carefully countering the opponent with smarts to win the game. Each champion being stronger would allow each player to carry the game more easily. The thing is that the common philosophy of "it's not overpowered if EVERYONE is overpowered" isn't true. A game like that tends to devolve into a list of must-pick characters good in the meta, and a lot that aren't seen except as powerful counterpicks. League has never wanted that many hard counters in the game. Also, none of this means you can't be a super carry -- those characters still exist. Get fed early as Pantheon or LeBlanc and watch the carnage you can create. Play Devourer Xin Zhao. Play late-game Darius or Nasus into a team without a lot of kiting power. It's just that one-man teams are rare -- which is something League embraces. Showing your skill by single-handedly stomping a coordinated enemy team isn't something that should happen: **the team with better teamwork SHOULD be able to defeat a team of four weak players and one incredible one.**
