First off: https://i.imgur.com/6iVbeHi.png[] What ISP are you on? There was apparently some issue with AT&T users within the past day or two. Less important but FYI: your title made me think you were talking about Movement Speed. When you've got lag, just say you've got lag or latency problems (lag and ping are the most recognized terms for laypeople). It'll cause less confusion since people don't really refer to the units (ms = milliseconds) as the issue. If your car is running slower than it should, you don't tell the mechanic you have MPH/KPH changes.
: My roommate is a hardcore tech guy that works in computers/IT management and web design. Whenever he's home, whatever the hell he's doing in his office always obliterates our bandwidth. I don't play when he's awake/home for that reason, but once in a while, he'll come home early, or I won't realize he didn't work that day and I'll get absolutely wrecked by whatever he's doing. I'll stop after that, till it's freed up again, but that's my reason if I'm playing and my ping goes nuts. Also, despite living in a nice neighborhood, the wiring around here sucks and the whole neighborhood loses power like once a week. Luckily that's only ever happened once in game, but it's extraordinarily upsetting when it does. EDIT: As an additional note. I've been playing LoL for 1 month shy of 10 years now, and this is the only place I've lived at/person I've lived with that has caused me issues. It sucks when something happens, but I'm not willing to let a minor inconvenience once in a while stop me from playing something I love that I've dedicated a decade of my life to.

: "I understand your perspective - but just because racial slurs, violent threats, and other forms of cyberbullying are free speech does not make them right either." That is fair but who decides what is a real threat or cyberbullying or racism ? What happens when it's just a joke that was taken out of context ? What about the european player that was banned for saying "kys" when it is actually a word meaning "kiss" in his language ? I am not advocating that I should be able to say I am gonna find and kill someone, this is litteraly illegal as it should be. I'm just saying that depending on who has the power, the "unnaceptable" behavior isn't actually that bad. Would you consider saying "my ngga you sooo gud" to be racism ? Even when said by a black person to one of his friend ? My point is that sometimes people will be offended for others even tho they shouldn't be.

What if the observer is also black and refuses to accept the -ga version of the word because he has personally been called that as an insult? Not all black people consider it a viable distinction. Just because you and your friend are fine with certain colorful language directed at each other doesn't mean others are offended *for* you. They may be offended because of personal experiences, and telling them they shouldn't be isn't your call. My cousins and I call each other racially insensitive things in private. We absolutely will not do this in front of random Asians. It would be completely reasonable for them to be pissed at us. Solution: don't say things to your friends in team/all chat that you know some people find offensive. Keep it to /msg or voice chat.

Champions have plenty of counters, and half the roster is broken as fuck anyway, but people decide that they ban no one. Why? You're literally asking to get counter-picked or to be shit on by the meta champions that have very little counterplay except to ban them. If it's normal, the player may be fine with being counterpicked so that he can practice those bad matchups. That's my typical reason for not banning. I'd rather have as much experience as possible against an unfair encounter so I can minimize the consequences when it matters. Ending up in a disadvantageous matchup which I've avoided at all costs before that point almost guarantees failure. If it's ranked, it's a questionable decision at best and completely stupid at worst.

Found the match history for the game in question: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/3159853824/2283155527067744?tab=stats (note to mods: Ranked Match History is public by Riot's design, so this is from just clicking on OP's profile here) FB is recorded as Ekko at 1:04. Your video shows Lee died 18 seconds after Ekko, followed by Xayah's disconnection 2 seconds later. It does look suspicious, although in my experience the disconnections often occur earlier than the team notifications. I play with a premade group in voicechat. When one of us crashes, we say so in voicechat. Usually the in-game alert doesn't happen for several seconds, and our champions continue any queued actions or chase people via attack-move commands issued before the disconnection. It looks similar to what Xayah did, where she started chasing Tryndamere before popping a disconnection alert and walking back to base. The amount of time it takes for the server to alert everyone to a disconnection is probably an intended behavior to lessen false positives due to lag and packetloss. Regardless of whether the players were taking advantage of the 90 second requirement, it does look like the remake system is not following the rules Riot set forth. FB against Xayah's team happened long enough before either Xayah or Lee left that the actual moment of disconnection couldn't have been before Ekko's death. Xayah also switched targets multiple times, so she was connected at least up until just before Lee died (and possibly after, but that's unverifiable). What you should do is [open a support ticket with Riot](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us) and direct them to the specific match history. Point out the timestamps. Ask them to investigate why a remake was allowed after FB with all members present. Cite the update which states that shouldn't happen. You won't need to show them the video since they have the replay file. Keep an eye on your e-mail inbox. When you get a notification from support, check if it's a live support technician or an automated response. There will be a link to request a human if you have an autoreply. Using that link will get you in direct touch with a tech and your interaction will be on record.

: Add more than one champion every 2-3 weeks
Adding more champions frequently is a horrible idea unless they change the way champions are offered in game. Currently there are: * 13 Tier 1 with 39 of each champion * 13 Tier 2 with 26 of each champion * 13 Tier 3 with 18 of each champion * 10 Tier 4 witih 13 of each champion * 8 Tier 5 with 10 of each champion Ignoring the scaling odds per player level and other player pools, here's what you should expect. Assuming you are offered only T1 champions, the first one gives you a 7.69% (39/507) chance at getting a specific one. A second T1 champion gives you a 7.51% (38/506) chance at getting a duplicate. A 3rd T1 champion gives you a 7.33% (37/505) chance at getting another duplicate. Your odds for getting more duplicates shrink each time you get one. As you level, your chances for even getting the tier you want change in favor of higher tier champions. At level 6, you only have a 25% chance of getting a T1 at all. So hypothetically, if you are level 6 in a sandboxed environment with no opponents and have bought zero T1 champions, your odds of getting a specific T1 champion are 1.92% (39/507 x 0.25). **Adding one champion** If just one more champion is added to the Tier 1 pool for a total of 14, the odds are now shifted downwards for getting specific T1 champions. Odds of the first are 7.14% (39/546). Odds of the first duplicate are 6.97% (38/545). Odds of the second duplicate are 6.80% (37/544). For the hypothetical level 6 with a full T1 pool, that's 1.79%, 1.74%, and 1.70% chances of getting the duplicates for subsequent single slot offerings. If they keep adding more champions, the odds of getting the specific champions you want will continuously drop. If they want to continue adding champions, they need to start restricting available champions to keep the probabilities usable. They already know it's rough with the existing probabilities, which is why Neeko's Help was added to the game. Maybe have a max of 60 champions available at any time, with a rotating champion pool per patch cycle. This is still problematic because every champion contributes to multiple set buffs, so leaving any champions out of the game automatically makes reaching those synergy requirements harder.

In general, Riot doesn't ban for one game unless it's a zero tolerance incident.

Where was it announced that the golden chroma for Championship Ashe was coming back? I've only seen the addition of the golden icon, which we never had (and is kind of a meh addition, but whatever). They gave us a *non*-golden icon and loading screen border with the 2017 Worlds missions, even though we could also unlock the golden chroma with those missions. As far as I'm aware, the skin chroma isn't coming back.

It is banneable in the notion that borrowing accounts is used to elo boost; which clearly he did not do. It's actually far worse than just interference with the MMR system. That's a big problem, but not the main reason most companies prohibit account sharing. It's a security breach. People put trust in their "friends" by sharing their info, but often that trust is by merit of being on their friend lists in the first place. If an impostor is on your friend's account and gets your info, your login is now in the hands of someone you don't trust. The intruder can now use your account to attempt to "borrow" logins from other people on your friend list. It's a form of stepping stone attack. With the exception of large scale database attacks, most "hacked" accounts are the result of social engineering, not skilled cracking. Stolen accounts then create a whole financial mess when people dispute purchases and insist on refunds. Investigating fraud can be iffy and a waste of resources, so often the simplest and most efficient response is enforcing the prohibition on shared accounts. Riot does allow people to try and prove their accounts were originally theirs when stolen, but it's not a 100% successful process and players have complained about losing their accounts despite providing answers. I'm not just speculating that companies do this. I've had to permaban accounts in two separate MMOs simply for people sharing accounts because the administrator ordered it.

: On Hit are things that are generally applied, well.. when you hit them with your AA's. So yes, its like Rageblade, Wit's End, Frozen Mallet, Nashor's Tooth, Blade of the Ruin King, Runaans, ect. Items that have something that is applied everytime you AA them. Why certain champions go On Hit rather than Crit is generally because they themselves have an on hit as part of their kit. You use Varus and Kog'maw as an example; both of them have an on hit affect that synergizes well with other on hits. For example, Varus's blight stacks are an on hit affect that allow him to do Magic Damage along with Physical damage, meaning items like Rageblade and Wit's End(which both give magic pen essentially), synergize nicely with his blight stacks because they increase the damage. Kog'maw, similarly, has %health damage as an on hit that is also applied as magic damage, making the on hit magic pen *really* nice. Overall, on hit builds are low AD, high AS, and provide damage in other ways or even sometimes utility in some other way via additional affects added to your AA's. The reason why they don't work on other champions such as Jinx is because crit builds tend to have less AS but effectively more AD(since crit just flat out doubles your AD damage done with your AA's if you think about it). Jinx has more AD scaling in her builds and even has abilities (her Q rockets) that scale with crit. On hit can work for most ADCs but crit is generally better for most too, specifically champions with high AD scaling abilities(Tristana, Cait, Lucian) or champions with crit scaling abilities(Jinx, Xayah, Yasuo).

They removed its shred effect and replaced it with healing from its on-hit damage.
: How do I swap account in the new client?
Go to your **League of Legends\Config** folder and find the **LeagueClientSettings.yaml** file. Open that in Notepad or another text editor. There should be an entry for your login. This is the default, without a saved login: >     login-remember-me: >        rememberMe: false >        username: "" If yours shows your username, set it to false and double quotation marks with nothing between them, then save it and relaunch League.
: Prestige Caitlyn was an event skin. You had to buy the pass and get the tokens. Which I would have done if I wasn't working 45+ hours every week to try and scrounge up money to pay for my classes. If I had the time to grind for the tokens I most certainly would have. But I didn't, and I would have given my account info to a friend who did, but last friend I gave my account info to ended up buying Yasuo and Aatrox and wasted all my BE so I had to hop back on the grind for Kai'sa. My point is that I understand people worked for these skins under the assumption that this was the only way to get them, but why should that matter? They got it earlier than anyone else and they got a border to flavor it up with. Yes they worked for it but they chose to do that and it's amazing that they had the liberty to do so. Other people who wanted those skins have more in their life than just this game and it feels like a spit in the face to essentially be told to fuck off bc I wasn't available at the right time.
You *might* want to edit this comment since you just admitted in writing to doing something that they permaban accounts for...
: Impossible to launch new game after leaving a TFT game
There's a minimum time required in game before you can fully leave. I think it's 10 minutes, or roughly around the Krug fight. Before that point, you can't surrender, but surrendering after that will allow you to start a new game. If you legitimately lose after that point you can also hit Exit instead of Keep Watching and you can start a new game.

Yep, it's multiplicative. That's why Guinsoo ramps up in an increasingly steep curve instead of a slow and steady progression. If you toss Guinsoo on a champ that's likely to survive a long time, watch the AS. It'll gain larger and larger amounts.

Had it been hand-drawn, I would to a greater extent let the style choice slide. If anything, they should even easier manage to make the same art style now as they did then with today's modern technology. They managed to make some 102 episodes (that I know of) of the original, whichever way they made it, so this new one is rather down on excuses 30 years later. So while I enjoy the story in this revamp, and the resolution and technical quality right down to the sound effects is far greater than the original, I cannot view this as in any way related to the original due to the art style.

That's just how the industry has progressed. They're still not models that can be rigged in the manner that 3D animation uses, though. They can just modify parts of the previous frame rather than flipping back and forth to duplicate the entire thing by hand, but keeping things simple still saves a lot of per-frame time and effort. Bear in mind I'm still in agreement with you that the 80s series was superior in style and wish they'd skewed closer to that. I *really* loathed the "stylized" (intentionally ugly art) cartoon trend of the late 90s/early 00s. This guy analyzed the animation from a preview video, which apparently made one of the animators nervous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lTXdsvxeI0 > So while I enjoy the story in this revamp, and the resolution and technical quality right down to the sound effects is far greater than the original, I cannot view this as in any way related to the original due to the art style. The weird thing is, another reason for the art style which has been repeated by a lot of reviews and interviews is that they were influenced by the old Carl Barks Scrooge comics and paintings. I'm still having a hard time buying that completely. I've seen Barks art, and it's not really close. Compared to the first Ducktales cartoon, it's simplistic. The current cartoon looks intentionally moreso. Barks drew the ducks' heads more spherically, and the kids always had smaller eyes than the adults. Now their heads look like rounded off squares with larger than anime eyes. As for the "original" and lore accuracy, some of the references are more accurate than the first Ducktales. For instance, Glomgold wasn't Scottish until Ducktales made him so. This series addresses that.

I know the concept of reboots meddling with what made the original so good is scary, but this is truly the best kind of reboot. It takes everything that was fun and enjoyable about the first and just gives it a modern push of cartoons. There is plot, there is story, none of the characters are just background characters like Webby isn't the damsel in distress little girl, and Ms. Beakley isn't just a maid anymore, everyone is just so good. *****Sigh***** You make a good sales pitch there, sir...fine, I'll run an iteration through my content acquisition engine (aka do a .torrent download of both seasons on my PC) and give it a go. But I won't promise I will love it like the original. Though I suspect - 30+ years later - that there are certain things only a child _can_ do... EDIT: Okay, I began watching the first episode, and - I REALLY hadn't expected this - it had me chuckling within the first minute. But then I AM viewing this as a separate series, and not in any way related to the 80's original. EDIT 2: Wait, what? St. Canard (Darkwing Duck) AND Spoonerville (Goof Troop) references? What the hell IS this? A greatest hits collection of all the old cartoons!? :O _And I swear, I was only thinking of adding "where's the Aladdin?"-reference..._ I seem to have judged this relaunch way too quickly here. While I refuse to accept the art style, I think I can easily enjoy this thing. Thank you for insisting on this. :)

While I refuse to accept the art style, I think I can easily enjoy this thing. Thank you for insisting on this. :) That was my early gripe when I saw the previews before the series premiered. Compared to the first series, I hate the simplified art style. However, it does seem to lend itself to dynamic visuals (e.g., the rotating perspective in the intro), possibly because of the less intricate style. I still dislike the style, but love *almost* everything else about it. They really hit certain things that you'd never expect (when Jamaree mentioned lore accurate portrayals... well, Glomgold in particular almost hung a lampshade on something nobody thought Disney would ever address). Dewey is probably going to bug me for the duration of the series, but literally every other character gets to distract me from that. Donald isn't even just the whipping boy. They give him some great moments of non-accidental competence.

That's frustrating, but not too unusual. Without any champs being bought, there's a <8% chance of a Tier 1 champ being any specific one (same odds for Tier 2 and Tier 3 champs, as there are 13 per tier). By level 6, you have a <25% chance to even get a Tier 1 champ, which is why it's often hard to finish off those Tier 1 upgrades later in the game. In the early game, it *should* be fairly easy to get any Tier 1 champ after a few rerolls, but there are enough of them that it's common to not see one or two of them before you've leveled to the point that they become scarce just by tier. Stuff like this is going to become more common as they add more champions to the pool unless they either change the shop mechanics or introduce a rotating current champion pool to the game. That would mean certain champions are disabled for an entire patch to prevent increasing champion rarity at all tiers. Since every champ is tied to 2-3 set buffs, that's going to take some thought before they just randomly yank them.

Even if she doesn't have the Void set buff for the true damage, I think the CC still applies without the damage. He's only immune to magic damage during his spin.

: Force of Nature bugged?
I'm not sure if it's intended, but that's how it's worked. If I have spare spatulas and decide to make FoN instead of a trait/Runaan, I try and combine them on an expendable champ that I can immediately sell (sometimes buy one just for the combine/sell). That way I have the FoN in my side inventory without using up a slot on a field champ. Until they make it so it explicitly requires the FoN on the field to count, it's always better to keep it unequipped.
