: Well, to be fair, it takes many players an entire season to get to honor level 5 from honor level 2. I think it could be considered “harsh” to lose your chance of honor 5 from one punishment, but I don’t think so personally. I have a friend who had a bad couple weeks and got a chat restriction, dropping him to honor level 1 and locking it (this was at the beginning of last season, in like March or so). He ended up getting honor 5 right before the end of the season. He does tend to spend a lot of time playing though, so I’m not sure if this is possible for your ‘average’ player. That being said, the minimum requirement for season rewards is Honor 2, and you still unlock rewards for each individual honor level above 2 (various colors/levels of rewards). I do believe that the maximum level of rewards (honor 4/5 rewards) should be reserved for those players who display continuous and consistent honorable behavior for an entire season. It should be noted that the only way to lose honor progress is with a punishment - you cannot fall in honor unless you are punished. Your forward progress may be slowed by *any* misbehavior (regardless of prior punishments or not), but you won’t lose the progress you’ve already made. Given that it takes a decent amount of toxicity (generally) to get your first chat restriction, and if you’ve had 3-6 months of good behavior after it it takes a similar amount (your account would be back in good standing), I’m not sure it needs to be lessened. It’s important to remember that a punishment is designed to be just that - a punishment. It isn’t meant to feel good, and if it takes loss of honor rewards to convince people to reform, to me that’s a sign that the Honor system is working as intended. People want the rewards, they will realize that they will not get the rewards if they misbehave, thus they try to not misbehave.

I just don't feel it necessary to completely remove lvls. Especially if you're being chat restricted only. How is it fair to lvl 5 honors to drop to lvl 1 because they snap for some reason 1 time. obviously chat restriction needs at least 3 bad games, but that person might have gotten tilted once in a game and stayed tilted throughout the day to cause the issue. Now, most definitely am not saying that I am honor 5 or ever have been. I'm just saying being chat restricted isn't enough, but removing lvls of honor and locking it is a bit much. What if you don't lock it, but remove you the levels. That way they can at least start to get their honor back.

: keep pushing, bronze 4 has still old people who dont play alot of ranked and are stuck there, and they dont even want to improve themselves and are scared to loose lp so they play rarely. just play and play and play and play and play, you get there, eventually. You're just in an elo with really unconfident players. So if you want to change that and want to get teammates who can actually play the game on a decent level you need to climb or get better, win your own lane. if your team feeds or goes afk and its uncarryable, happens dude, too all of us. Riot can't change the players the players need to change themselves, and most of the people are either to lazy or simply dont give a fuck. and you know what, laugh at them for not even trying, if you keep pushing and keep on playing everyday 1-2 hours you will get out of bronze, better teammates, more quality games where you need to actually use gameknowledge. to improve yourself, watch streams, your own replays in 2x speed and point out your own mistakes and watch guides for your championpool, and decrease your champions to 1-3 maximum for the beginning and learn lane basics like wave manipulation and stuff. if you follow this i will see you in platinum soon friend. Best Regards Zeta

: MVP and ACE on op.gg and it's potentionally use in Ranked MMR
: As a jungle main reading this here are my thoughts 1. I always try to defend turrets and take the cs because yes it is valuable and will be wasted if not soaked up 2. Ganking a losing lane is never desireable for a jg because they might also begin to feed that lane which is very bad when they could have ganked a winning lane to help secure a kill 3. Many people who jungle are just ignorant to what they should be doing, they might not even be a jungle main. Always attempt to convey a message to the jungler in a nice way so they are more likely to respond back with what you are telling them. EXAMPLE: when i lane I dont say "please gank bot" or "you havent been bot yet jungler?" Just say something like " when they push me up in lane they are free kills" who wouldnt want a free kill? lol
Exactly on your first point. Also never asked her to gank a losing lane. I just put it out there that she had not ganked and kept allowing the lux to destroy my turret after I recalled twice in 10 minutes instead of taking the cs for herself and defending turret.
