: First off, I really thank you for replying. I appreciate your willingness to take some time out of your day to do so. With that said, I have to fundamentally disagree with your assertion that Riot treats everyone equally. I have gotten every "positive team player" icon Riot has given out. The Santa Baron, the Interlocked Hands one that was recently given out. Why should I get those over people who weren't positive? If everything was treated equally and 'fairly,' those players who were toxic should have gotten those icons as well because they were playing at the time they were offered. For a long time up until recently, there were "referral" awards for people who have gotten a number of people to create an account. Is that not clearly preferential treatment to people who are supporting and encouraging people to support your game? I forget the Reddit post, but I remember someone was actually invited to come visit Riot HQ (on Riot's Dime) for some reason. Why doesn't everyone get a free pass? I think I remember seeing some Riot employees send gift bags to people who have had cancer. Just because they had cancer, does that mean that I shouldn't also get a gift bag? I mean I've probably been playing as long/longer than those players who have been given stuff. Please understand that I am not complaining that I haven't gotten something over a person with a lot worse life circumstances than I have ever experienced. Actually I encourage Riot to do things like that to really show the people who love and are dedicated to the game that they are appreciated. My entire point to listing out just those 4 things (there are p.l.e.n.t.y more) is that Riot does give preferential treatment to certain people. It just seems at Riot's discretion on when they give it. As some might say they're "ignoring rules and guidelines" set in place to go above and beyond. I haven't even talked about the fact that basically every company on the planet has something that they do specifically for good customers that they won't for other people. I'd venture to guess I'm in the top .5% of money spent on an account, and if money wasn't the only factor (which it shouldn't be), I have never been chat restricted or banned. The worst part about all of this is that it seems like I'm just whining and asking for hand outs. That couldn't be further from the truth. Again, the money means nothing to me. I just get physically and mentally compelled to discuss this because as an individual from a customer service/business background, it literally almost pains me to see this standpoint. Thank you again for the conversation, and I hope we continue it. <EDIT> And thinking about it a bit more over night, even with all the points I brought up, your stance might still be "well there are guidelines we have to follow." If that's the case, I'd implore Riot to review their guidelines to be more compassionate to _everyone_ who has had a fluke situation like myself, rather than no one.
I think my point may have gotten muddled in my ambiguity. You mentioned some examples where we do give preferential treatment and reward individuals for either positive behavior or sharing the game with their friends (RAF). We could get into an interesting conversation where these benefits weren't necessarily aimed at just one person but at the community as a whole. Isn't rewarding positive behavior really good for the ecosystem as a whole? By doing this, in theory, we should increase the positivity of players by providing incentives for good behavior. Additionally, without players sharing the game with others they'd have never been introduced to this community. That last point is a little more of a stretch, but still, it's not so much about rewarding monetary purchases, but more about helping highlight the positivity of the community. I think specifically discussing our history of refunds may be helpful. For instance, we never used to offer refunds. This is actually somewhat standard when it comes to digital content or at least such refunds are tightly regulated. However, I really think and believe that we try to be progressive and this is why we created the current refund system. Originally it was stated that we would only give the 3 refund tokens out...No more...No less...However, as time has progressed we've [discussed ](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1ogvgg/riots_ecommerce_team_is_here_monday_night_and/ccrtn5c)whether or not this will change. I feel kind of bad linking that source, but I'm doing it more so to show that this is something on our minds and something we do discuss. We just haven't found the right answer yet. It is important to note though, that until the right answer is found, we do have to abide by the current policies we have in place. This is where I was trying to tie fairness in. For us to be fair and impartial, when it comes to refunds, we cannot give out additional refund tokens. This is a good discussion and something we talk a lot about internally. I'm not specifically an expert when it comes to digital sales, but I am trying to explain the background and philosophies that we hold.

: Thank you for your response. I can promise you that the 'couple dollars' is not even a concern of mine. It is simply business practice. I'm in sales as a profession, and my entire job revolves around taking care of my clients and giving them a positive experience with working with me. There are guidelines that my company lays out for us on certain things, then I do my best to work with my best clients on if there is a conflict. The guidelines are there as exactly that. Guidelines. Any customer support or sales professional will tell you that you should go above and beyond for your dedicated and loyal customers. Have you ever shopped at a place and had someone know you by name? How does that make you feel? Have you ever ordered something wrong at said place, and the manager comp'd it for you because you're a loyal customer? Does something like that make you even MORE of a loyal customer? This is exactly why I'm trying to reach out to someone not through support. Support is like if one of my clients called my home office and asked for something. My Home office would follow the guidelines to a T. If they called me, I'd do absolutely everything for them. This has become a principled issue with me. Again, if I've spent $1500+ on this game, the entire skin cost itself isn't the issue, let alone the discount difference. It just pains me from a Sales professional to see a company as wonderfully about their customers like Riot is act in this manner to a long time supporting customer. I appreciate your discussion, and hope to hear your response. Thanks again
I think you bring up some interesting points and overall I agree that support should always try to make an experience as pleasant as possible. However, I don't think that going above and beyond to provide excellent support means to ignore all rules or guidelines. Typically those rules or guidelines are in place to ensure fair and equal treatment for all players. It could never argue that you haven't supported Riot Games or that you aren't a loyal player, but is that way support should be about? Or should we always treat players equally and fairly, despite the amount of RP or skins purchased? To be fair, I don't think this is a very traditional way of approaching this topic, but I think it's something that has attracted a lot of Rioters to this company. We offer the game and our support services without discriminating or rewarding players based on how much money is spent. For example, if a player is toxic they get punished, regardless of purchase history. Similarly it's unfair to give preferential treatment to players who do spend money. Loyalty is always appreciated, but it shouldn't set an expectation of preferential treatment.

: Intern Harrassing Me
Hey, I looked into your claim and this player is not an Intern for Riot. Sorry for the experience you had, but remember to use the mute feature when encountering negative behavior. This will ensure you don't engage any negative behavior and helps you focus on your own play! Good luck with your games! :)
: Er, any chance of you hosting the same thing on Saturday, PDT? There's a high likelihood of me being online from like 8AM-6PM PDT ^_^ But I doubt my chances of making it into the Friday ones Side note: Please buff Galios mana regen rate. Oh god it's so bad it's painful. XD I'm actually considering full MP5 glyphs, seals, and Quiscients..... just so I don't have to build the grail. Did I mention that he scales better with MP than AP? And I can't build MP due to grail? :<
It can be hard to wrangle everyone into games over the weekend, people spending time with their SO's, adventuring, etc. But we should continue to host community games like this in the future :)
: It's nice to see proof Riot Games cares about its players' health so much they they're willing to pelt them with oranges to prevent scurvy. See you on the Bridge, you landlubbers! PS. Do the poro rats explode when fed enough poro snax? Come to think of it, are they even called poros at all?
Actually they're just wharf rats, haha...TIL Oh...and...http://i.imgur.com/pwoVZdi.jpg

Declined (EUNE)
: Best update process ever ! *** #Problem: Instant recall, could potentially ruin ranked completely. *** #Decision by Riot: You told us exactly what the problem where, and how it could cause a huge impact if left alone, and the reasoning behind disabling ranked. As a result, almost everyone I talked to about it, agreed that it would be best to keep ranked disabled, a few people were annoyed about it being disabled, but understood the dilemma, and the community reacted as mature, as I've ever come across when there are major issues happening. This leads me to believe that the community can act mature and be reasoned with, if handled correctly and a 'down to earth' explanation is given. Especially compared to the usual process that ends in, what is best described as a kindergarten. Even the rants I noticed were more about venting than actual aggression as the regular updates gave them something to focus on, and a possible lifeline. Giving them something instead of nothing, a nothing that sometimes could take days, making people somewhat oblivious to the status page in the long run. *** #Process * I woke up, saw the status message in the client, noticed the updates. * Did some research * Talked to people * Checked boards * Talked to more people * Updates on the status message. * Eventually the problem got sorted, but the regular updates made it far more bearable. That's what I noticed, overall the whole experience was exceedingly fluent and positive, everything made sense, and was easy to find. **** #Me personally I have no clue which twitter account you were using to highlight the problem, none what so ever. I have to admit that, because of the previous practice of how you used the in client notification, namely keeping the same notifications turned on for extended periods of time without any changes, I am sometimes pretty ignorant of it, but if you keep this up, I won't be for long I guarantee you that. http://www.primaryteaching.co.uk/prodimg/B24_1_Zoom.jpg ps. welcome back
Thanks for your thoughts. Right now we manually update [this ](https://twitter.com/RiotSupport/status/621499871820779520)Twitter handle for live server issues. Obviously manual updates can be somewhat tedious and an automatic solution may prove to be more useful, efficient and effective. One of my thoughts is that sending these updates to this Twitter handle, automatically, may help alleviate some confusion and at least drive traffic to the Server Status Page (the best place to get updates).
Kürama (NA)
: Handled exceptionally well. New messages being posted at the predicted times (you said you'll update us at 11:00 and you did) as well as these messages being activated in the patcher / client / site at the top right corner. I'm in support for threads being created on the Boards with additional content! Welcome back from your vaca! Hope you enjoyed it! :)
Glad you thought it was handled well! As far as updates, did you ever find yourself wishing to see updates in any other place or possibly receive an update in a different way (like I asked prior, Twitter/SMS/etc). Or did you find all the places you mentioned sufficient?
Declined (EUNE)
: To be honest I don't think that particular type of effort would make a huge impact unfortunately. (especially considering very few people are awake after 2 am anyway) Unless there's a significant time delay, but an ETA would be nice to see. However that depends greatly on what the issue is, if we're talking about a serious problem such as the fiber line being broken, and affecting a whole state then HECK YE ! By all means, it's a serious issue affecting thousands upon thousands of players and any information you could give them might help, even telling them to try a custom first can make a huge difference. However I believe you would get a far more positive response, if you explained some of the processes you have to go through, pinpointing issues and keeping it casual. I got a decent example of that actually. A few years back on a relatively small online game, one of the servers suddenly crashed, and being a moderator, it was partially my job to figure out why, so I spoke to the company behind and within half an hour I got the reason.... > Someone had tripped over a wire in a data center. > And it would take a few hours to get it up and running again. Human error, keeping it casual, explaining what went wrong, and how to (hopefully) fix it. ********* **Boards** Depending on the severity it could very well be a valid solution, but if that's the case, I would link from the status message page to the boards post, and from there leave a 'snip' at the bottom with extra links to, twitter, front page, support or whatever news outlet you plan on using. ********* If there are major issues that affect a decent amount of the player base, it would be nice to have only 1 place to look for it as well, be it the support website, or even a sub board with server status' where you close the topics after a few days, and delete/hide them after a month, so that people with information might step forward or have a place to vent their frustrations, rather than creating 200 separate threads about xxxx issue being broken. (botrk hack anyone?) Example these threads were very important at the moment of creating and probably for few days, after that, they could become vital or obsolete, but keeping it organized, and having a **history reference/section** from the status page could make a huge difference. * [[NEW] Having issues Patching 5.12? Click Here!](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/1ynwPhQ0) * [Disconnects in the LoL Client](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/reYGVOoQ-disconnects-in-the-lol-client?) * [Southwest Service](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/eaeHmpgR) * [NA - Delay in RP purchases](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/EcAkgiHZ) * [Pool Party Rewards Distribution [On-going]](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/3VhOeAbf) I found those via the redtracker, which wasn't easy considering there has just been a Q&A and a bunch of Rioters having run, making it somewhat disorganized. **** I apologize for any grammatical errors and whatnot but it's 6 am here and I've been up all night, I just hope everything makes sense.
Sorry I've been vacant from this thread (just got back from vacation this week) but you've given good feedback and I was curious what your thoughts were with the Instant Recall bug. How do you think that issue was handled? Additionally, updates are inherently provided on the Server Status Page. However, sometimes additional context may be given in the Boards from Rioters who are directly working on the problem. Usually they just respond to threads that are asking specific questions where the answer may not be readily apparent.
Declined (EUNE)
: I'm talking about the server shutdown that usually happen at 2 am. And to answer your question they may 'announce it' but due to the clutter of how they do it, it isn't always a simple thing to figure out when exactly that is, which is what this whole thread is about.
I did an experiment a while ago where I tried to provide live updates as the patch was being deployed. Albeit the updates were more of the nature of "still patching" but I thought there may be some value in sitting with the team as they work and do my best to keep players abreast of any updates or new info that may result in longer down-time. Would something like this be of value? We stopped doing it but if there's value to have a live person on the Boards or some other platform, talking to everyone about what's going on, I'd totally do it again.
Kürama (NA)
: To be honest, sending emails, live texts, tweets are cool and all, but it's not needed. If you guys would like to do it, then do it.
When you say it's not needed do you mean that you're satisfied with how you currently get updates? Do you just check the Server Status Page or just see the notification pop-up in the patcher/client?

I'm not much of a beer drinker (kind of a pleb there), but I do like Guinness and its stout version, so I think that's a good place to start? Stouts are a pretty good place to start. They can be pretty mellow, easy to drink and can warm you up real good. The winter time is also the perfect time to drink stouts! Stouts are also pretty cool because as you start to get in to them, the flavors can get incredibly complex and multi-dimensional. Anywhere from coffee stouts, milk stouts, chocolate stouts to pepper stouts (sounds weird, but if you dig spice, they are super tasty). I'm not quite sure where you live, so some of these might not be available in your area but some stoutsI would recommend beyond Guinness are: **Obsidian Stout by Deschutes** (A pretty common, classic stout, not too crazy, but a good go-to) **Imperial Java Stout by Sante Fe Brewing** (A little more complex, has some coffee notes to it, but this is a terrifc beer. It's like breakfast in a can) **Yeti Imperial Stout by Great Divide** (Another good go-to, it's a pretty strong beer, a bit thicker than the others, but also a classic stout) **Ten FIDY by Oskar Blues** (One of my favorites, a strong beer that's pretty delicious, probably the thickest out of all the ones I've mentioned and not for the faint of heart) **Oatmeal Stout by Samuel Smith** (This one is also somewhat common, but also relatively mild in comparison to the previous 3. Still tasty tho.) Wow...I kind of wrote a lot more than I intended. Anyways, I think that's a somewhat good place to start opening up your palate a bit more (provided you're over 21 if you live in the U.S. :P) and should help you start to become a beer snob!
: Can you drink coffee with a burger
How about a Coffee Stout/Porter with a burger? Sounds delicious to me.

: I think as a representative of Riot Games you may want to rethink that reply. This is the kind of prank / trolling that requires good faith to be funny. And if the OP didn't know them and didn't know they were being trolled... Oh man, wait, what if *we're* the ones getting trolled. But no really, it kind of comes across as you're laughing at someone that was getting griefed the entire game. Which is kinda dickish.
I see your point of view. As someone who's been on the receiving end of this kind of behavior, actually having been accused of hacking/walling/exploiting, I think it's better to have an attitude of levity towards the situation. Instead of getting worked up and upset over behavior which you can't control, I'd rather breath in and laugh it off. Maybe it came off as dickish, but that wasn't my intent, and I don't think OP took it that way either. Thanks for the feedback!
  Rioter Comments
: Got reported for "hacking" with Annie.
Lol, sorry but I find this pretty funny. I'm pretty sure you were trolled. Anyways, on a more serious note, some people can be a little more ignorant than others. In cases like this, it's just better to ignore whatever someone is saying and just play your game. If someone reports you, a single report isn't the end of the world. The system takes in to account frivolous reports. Also, you only received one report from that game, not everyone. So focus on not feeding the troll, don't worry about other behaviors/ideas/whatever, contribute positively to your game and move on :)

I'll check out these updates though.
Couple more things, make sure that your main connection, the wired one, is the only one that is active. Make sure to disable all other connections on your computer to make sure they don't interfere. Also, you may want to consider trying a new/different modem to see if that helps.
elduris (NA)
: Your OS should have no effect on the strength of your connection. Even if you were using Windows XP, you'd still encounter the same type of connection issues.
This OS change sounds like a possible compatibility issue. Have you made sure to update your drivers to the proper versions? You may even want to reinstall them since upgrading to a new OS can sometimes cause drivers to bork up. Specifically referring to your network adapter drivers.
Ehtal (NA)
: I noticed this too. I can play on 1 of my 3 accounts without lag. The other two experience the insta 500 ping watch yourself die every 2-3 minutes...
I think you guys are having a slightly different problem than some other players here. I could be wrong and you could just be a small sample size of players that play a lot on many accounts. But it doesn't sound like the exact same experience. Either way, if you have issues with only one account you should submit a ticket to Player Support so we can get a better idea of what's going on with your accounts and connection.
: What I think is so funny about this is that people (and by people, I mean people all over atleast 12 thread's that i can see) stating all of the same things. I, for one, can say that my service with this game was abysmal for several months, and then miraculously got better. Frame rates went up to atleast 30fps, which is great being that they used to drop to atleast 12 when in team fights. I was so freaking happy with this game. I watch LCS and follow NA teams, yatta yatta yatta. It was only until recently that I started putting money into buying skins for my champs. Why? Because I thought that I would be playing this game for a long time coming. And then, here comes this shitty problem. Let me elaborate why I think it's shitty. For one thing, I am the only person that is hit by this problem IN MY HOUSE. Its not my computer, I'm running windows 8, and I can play games with a much bigger file (Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Portal) and not have the slightest problem with them. It's not my internet, because everything was working fine. But here, my friends, is the shittiest part. My brother was sitting right next to me while this DC shit started happening... AND NOTHING WAS HAPPENING TO HIM. I got on his profile, and nothing was happening to his profile, but on his PC it happened when he logged into my profile. Meanwhile, we are running on the same wifi we have been for months where (if you read back there) everything was working fine. Nothing has changed. I read another entry were something like this was happening with another player, the problem where he would dc, but on the same network, someone else wouldn't have this problem, and when he logged into his friends account, nothing happened at all. Sorry if I don't feel the need to post a tracer, Riot. There are hundreds of people with my problem that have wasted their time. And there is only ONE person who has answered. And sorry if I don't feel that your bullshit animatronic response that so many people have tried and gotten zero results from is not a response. I'm pissed, Riot. We are not your family, we are not your kids. We are your consumers, and you just don't give a shit. You have a board filled with the same problems, a board that has been filled with just ONE problem for weeks now. Where the fuck have you been? Because I'm DAMN sure you aren't ALL In Korea.
The issue you're having doesn't sound like the majority problem that other players are having. On the surface they may sound somewhat similar, but an issue that seems to be related to your account should be more thoroughly investigated with a support specialist. Quite frankly, yeah, there's a lot of problems that you guys have that you shouldn't have. But unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world and in order for problems to be solved it requires a little give and a little take. For your particular issues, you should create a support ticket and try to troubleshoot this issue with us. I've heard of it before and it can be a bitch to fix, but I don't think you're having the same problems as everyone else in this thread. Just my two cents.
: I have some photos to show you about the game I just endured with the VPN active. Is there a way we could email? Here's a look at how the game went.
Ultimately, this is why submitting tickets is important. I know that it can be frustrating to troubleshoot these issues, but I PROMISE you, we want nothing more than to help and have everyone experience a smooth and fun game. It's literally our main motivation. You asked earlier about updating drivers and router firmware. I'm going to assume you're on a Windows machine. [Update Network Adapter drivers](http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-network-adapter-problems#1TC=windows-7) Router/Modem updates can be a little trickier since it depends on the exact model you have. [This is a pretty good guide though for the general concept](http://www.wikihow.com/Update-Router-Firmware)
: At first it started around when Azir was taken down. I had uncontrollable lag spikes that made my screen freeze and like anyone else i submitted a ticket. A few days later i noticed that the lag had almost magically gone down to happening just a few times per game, usually in the beginning. This only lasted for a day though. On both of my accounts i started to experience Attempting to Reconnect loops in which i would have to Alt+F4 and then reconnect to get back in. It started with just a few times a game occuring from the 10-15 minute mark and from then on. But since then every day it's become worse. I now can only play lag free for about 2.5 minutes and then the loop starts. It happens sort of like this Game start>Get to lane>2:30 my character stops moving> 2:40 attempting to reconnect> for about 10 seconds i can watch my character autoattack and gain gold, i can also see people chat but can't chat myself, and i can't use skills or anything>2:50 attempting to reconnect>Alt+f4 then reconnect puts me back in the game (If it doesn't crash at 100%)> about every 15 seconds to 1:30 i get the attempting to reconnect screen. This usually results in me having to watch myself die repeatedly or follow enemies into their tower. I tried to be super detailed about exactly what happens so i hope i gave enough information to help you. Thanks for replying so quickly it usually takes about 2 days to get a reply on my ticket. This is really nice. Edit: Forgot to mention that i am on a wired connection, wifi is disabled. I'm the only one who uses my internet because my roommate works all day. All of this is brand new too i bought this computer and internet service 4 months ago and haven't experienced a single second of lag this hard (I have hiccups every once in a while but so does everyone else).
Appreciate the detail. It looks like most people experiencing this issue are having it because of ISP issues. Which means to say, their ISP hands off information to a backbone ISP to send it to our servers. But the handoff is extremely inefficient, which results in packet loss, ping spikes, etc. However, I don't think that's the case for you. There's a couple things I'd like you to try. First, update your network adapters and both you router/modem firmware. Try bypassing your router, directly in to your modem. Finally, if you still have issues, try testing on a [VPN](http://wtfast.com).
: pt .2
Your tracers point to an issue with the handoff from your ISP to a backbone provider. First, you should join a custom game of LoL when running a [VPN](http://www.wtfast.com/). WTFast is the one I typically recommend when trying to pinpoint the source of the issue. If using a VPN solves the problem, you need to contact your ISP to see if they are aware of the handoff issue and what they're doing to fix it.
: Hey thanks a lot for replying to this thread. First one in a while. I'm willing to work with you to find a solution because i just want to play so bad. Please get back to me as soon as possible it's been weeks since i've been able to play for more than 3 minutes at a time.
I thought my reply went through, but maybe it didn't... Anyways, thanks a lot for the info! The main thing that concerns me is the massive ping spikes we see in your tracer, even before your information leaves your home. Are you on a wireless connection or wired? What exactly happens when you have issues? Do you straight up crash/disconnect? Or do you just experience "attempting to reconnect"?
: > We recently announced that we were wanting to focus on improving NA stability and you can find that post [here](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/riot-official/0YOGUwHG-stability-upgrade-and-planned-migration-for-na-servers). However, I'm not convinced that these two issues are related. It's certainly possible, but without any additional information or data, I can't really come to any real, tangible answer. Above all, I believe in facts. I don't like making assumptions. Attaching a [tracert](https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/27495980-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#wq2) may help me better investigate and understand the root cause of these issues. With all due respect you linked me to the exact thing the player support robot linked me a few days ago when I put in a ticket about this. I already have all this information sent into Riot. Again, I find it extremely hard to believe so many players are having connection issues because they're ignorant of their connection, or haven't taken steps to try and fix it. I've spent a few hours trying to see what cause of the issue, as have others. It's not my internet. If it has to do with how we connect to your service, maybe you should look closer on your end.
I looked at your ticket and I don't see a tracer. Can you attach one here for me? Also, networking and internet connections are much more complex than we like to think. This [video ](https://www.google.com/get/videoqualityreport/#how_video_gets_to_you)from Google does a good job of explaining how this process works and why it's not something necessarily as easy as it being a server issue.
: There's no point in troubleshooting if I'm not the one with the issue. You know there are server issues. Don't hide it. Several hundred people complained and I'm sure there's more who haven't yet.
We recently announced that we were wanting to focus on improving NA stability and you can find that post [here](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/riot-official/0YOGUwHG-stability-upgrade-and-planned-migration-for-na-servers).
: > Checked my email and various tools we have that monitor server health. I see no problems on the 7th, which is the day I'm assuming you had problems. If we do notice server wide issues, we always post about it on the [Server Status Page](http://status.leagueoflegends.com/?en_US#na). We gain nothing from hiding these problems from you and are transparent as we can be without revealing sensitive information. > > Also, in your ticket, the specialist is trying to offer assistance with connection issues. This is because there are a lot of different causes for these problems. Tech specialists are trained to offer this help, especially when they see a pattern of disconnects and AFK reports. Instead of calling the specialist a liar, why not take him up on his offer to troubleshoot the issue with you? We finally get a red response and it's, to no surprise, unhelpful as hell. Read the forums. Seriously, hundreds of people, including myself, have experienced disconnections on a daily basis. The game disconnects you, seemingly at random, and disallows you to reconnect. The SAME. problem has happened to all these players, and you think they all have the same vague internet issues? I've dealt with bad east coast ping, and lag for years. I've played this game since 2010. This is a bug, or issue with Riot and their client. Please explain why I join a custom game, get DC'd after 3~ mins, and stay disconnected for eternity unless I reset my client (only for it to happen again) and yet, while this is occurring I can jump on another game and play completely lag free? (Hearthstone was fine, Smite, Counter-Strike)
Again, connection issues can happen for A LOT of different reasons. This particular issue sounds like a packet loss issue or a filtering issue of some kind because we don't seem to be having any reported, widespread server issues at this time. But I can't really state for certain without more information. Can some of you guys attach a tracert to some posts so I can have a better look at how your information is routed to our game servers? You can find info on how to do this [here](https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/27495980-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#wq2).
: Can a red poster tell me why you let your employees lie about this stuff? Please read this.

: But I am not the OP :D Victory is mine
Lol, that was my bad...I'm still getting used to this format...But we're constantly performing compatibility tests to make sure League of Legends will work properly. I'm not quite sure when a Crossfire mode will be totally bug-free, but we're aware that it causes issues sometimes.

: I have the latest drivers for my card and I still get the glitches as well and have the same card as the OP. everything on my computer is up to date and its still happening. Maybe you should get that card installed on some computers and test it out? If it helps i have 2 of those cards installed and have them in crossfire mode.
According the the DxDiag you provided you were not running the most up to date drivers. Did you download the new ones from my link? Also, League of Legends can encounter issues with Crossfire. I recommend disabling Crossfire mode when you are playing League of Legends to see if that fixes the issue.
: radeon hd 7870 graphical glitches.
Hey there! Generally the fix for this issue is to download the latest drivers for this card. You can find them [here](http://www2.ati.com/drivers/13-9_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe)
