: Being down turrets doesn't matter. You can literally not take a single turret and if you hold out 30 minutes, win the game off one teamfight. What does turrets really have to do with anything? They're gold. If the enemy takes them and you've taken none, then you're just at a recoverable gold deficit, the exception being turret plating and first tower gold. Adding a turret difference just seems arbitrary.
Removing turrets exposes that jungle area and increases mobility. THEORETICALLY the turret represents a safe spot to run to, which extends control of the map.
: >I am all in support of removing CDR for all non-support items, and being able to cast more spells that are less potent. This. So much. Back in the day, that was the cool thing about playing support. You traded damage but got more uptime than other roles. But Riot caved and slapped tons of CDR on every class because they botched and moaned... The state of balance durto CDR creep alone is justification for nerfing it on other classes tbqh. Been saying the same thing ever since the Mage update. Veigar should _not_ be casting his E every 5 seconds while still having maximum damage gains from items lol. I dont think it should be removed from all non support items all together, but the CDR freebie train needs to stop. There should be a tradeoff as opposed.to the 40% cap being an expectation.
That's what they did to Soraka. Her main healing used to be just W, powerful but with a decent CD. Now she just sprays mini-heals, so she feels even worse to play and people STILL don't like facing her.
: Going for Oracle Lens gives less vision score in low elo, than it does in high elo.
Why not? Seems like the only way to abuse this would be to hang out at dragon/baron scanning it constantly, which is going to hurt your other scoring categories far more than it'll help vision, and it'll encourage junglers to scan the pits in passing whenever they go by, which isn't a bad idea anyway.

Those are actually good examples. Sion and Warwick lost those abilities in rework precisely BECAUSE Riot and players didn't like them, to be replaced with versions that require decent windup. Yas' ult is instant point and click, but to use it he has to land third Q, or someone else entirely has to use a knockup. Yas has many problems, including with his ult, but the "instant" part isn't one of them.
: Unpopular opinion: Butchers Bridge is overrated.
I just like the variety. Bring Howling Abyss up to the same level of quality, and have it randomly pick between the two.
: Ok, but if Ahri misses, she loses out. But if Zoe misses, it becomes a trap that not only does the damage still, but sleeps the target for what, 3 seconds? Enough time for her to flash forward on an unfortunate ad carry that clipped a pixel of the trap and delete them with a R Q then flashing.
Crescent's point (as far as I understand it) was that Zoe's E damage is stronger than Fox Fire because Ahri's power budget is more heavily shoved into her other abilities. Zoe's ult is interesting and a useful mechanic, but it pales in comparison to Ahri's ult. You have to look at the champions as a whole. Is Ahri as a whole weaker than Zoe? I don't know, I haven't looked at the exact numbers, maybe. But the champion as a whole must be discussed.

: Honestly what did that Garen and me gain from that normal game ?
There's an MMR system, but it's separate from ranked. So if someone plays almost exclusively ranked, then enters a norms lobby, the game doesn't have much data to go on so the matchups get pretty nuts.
: Guys... have you considered that people are just picking the best champs more often? There's a pool of champs to choose from when people inevitably reroll, and most people would go for a champ like lux rather than udyr. Come on people, it's not that hard to put together.
That would account for a higher rate, but that THAT much of a discrepancy.

: So, the fact that she has just under like 49.27% winrate but has like the second highest pick rate means nothing is wrong? Shes just too good. she scales off of every item that gives damage and when she was released they said they wanted a high risk high reward champ. Which to me hitting 5 items then being able to 1v9 just does not fit that build. I like Kai'sa I played the shit out of her and got mastery 5 on release, but that was before she became the monster she is now.
IIRC with a pick rate that high, a well balanced champ should see something like 48%(?) winrate due to the high number of Kai'sa newbies pulling the numbers down. I think to get a good picture we'd need the winrate breakdown by games played, which I am too lazy to look up. :P

It is so baffling that seemingly most of the community does not understand the reason why the meta is the meta. They just know greater beings came up with it and most people use it, so they use it. They don't actually know why they use it. The entire premise of the jungler is based on theories of opportunity cost, efficient allocation, and inflation. Gold is power in this game and there is no reason to leave jungle unexploited. As long as sufficient camps are up, it would be inefficient to gank a quiet lane as the team would get more gold if you stayed in the jungle. Only when the benefit of ganking outweighs farming the jungle, should you gank. Jungler's don't exist primarily to gank. They exist to exploit jungle gold. Ganking is a secondary task to maximize gold between camps and support subpar teammates.

Ganking is a secondary task to maximize gold between camps and support subpar teammates. No one's asking junglers to show up to a lane where nothing's happening just because "gank!" And jungler's don't exist to clear camps. It's the other way around: camps exist to give junglers the means to keep up in terms of XP/gold with the laners while they roam around supporting lanes and contesting neutral objectives. If a lane is struggling, whether due to someone getting counterpicked or just a plain ol' skill level difference, but isn't a total loss yet, then the jungler SHOULD be trying to prioritize helping that lane out. Think of it this way. Minion waves are a laner's source of gold and XP; camps, the jungler's source. But 9/10 times a laner isn't just quietly farming minions and doing nothing else. They're doing their primary job(s): trying to build a lead by successfully killing the enemy laner, and trying to take the enemy's tower(s). In the same way, a jungler has actual job(s): assist laners in their two objectives whenever an opening arises, and contest neutral objectives. The camps are there in the same way minions are there; take them when you can, especially early on, but remember they're a means to an end. Nothing more. Granted as the meta shifts more towards snowballing the "total loss" scenario is starting to occur far earlier with less time to act. And if said laner is a complete moron who shoves the lane up to the enemy tower with absolutely no vision whatsoever, then yeah, at that point there isn't a lot a jungler can help with.
: But then she should heal less
Or go to her very, very old concept, which was to have a W that healed way better, but with a much longer CD. You had to make a decision whether your ADC needed a heal, or whether he could scrape by on his own for a while. Right now this whole bandaid-machinegun W that heals for tiny amounts , but is up constantly, takes all the skill out of playing her.

: Raka doesn't need Rylai's, her Q already is an AoE slow. Getting Rylai's on her is almost as useless as Frozen Heart on Ashe.
I've toyed with it as a boost to her E. With Rylais, if you can drop the initial E cast dead on target, they won't be able to just walk out in time before getting rooted; it's either burn mobility or get stuck. TBH I haven't tried it outside of ARURF shenanigans, since it's a rather expensive item, but it seems like a passable idea in a Warmogs build if that ever goes back to being meta.
: and ezreal "abuses" stuff meant for casters or everyone. but we all gotta give him shit for it right? There's barely been a meta where jhin didn't appear in at some point, yet we bitch about every adc but this one, just cuz he has to reload. Riot get's accused of favouritism, but then there's the fact that boards freak out about a yi skin while he has 1 for every year he's been released while jhin got his 4th one in 2 years since release and noone cares. I don't even dislike the champ, he's fun. But fuck this is the first time there's actually complaints about him and he has to abuse both a rune AND an item. As soon as ezreal uses an item he's abusing it.
One difference is the core issues that lead to abuse. Jhin is designed less as a traditional AA marksman and more as a ranged AD caster. If you treat his AAs as more like a fifth ability that doesn't use mana, he makes a lot more sense. It's also easier to see the difficulty in balance issues for him with regard to items. IMHO Jhin's only real problem is that he needs the "bonus AD from AS" ratios on his passive tweaked. That and fuck {{item:3095}} . Ezreal, meanwhile, has Q, IMO the main and possibly ONLY major issue in his kit, albeit one that is glaringly horrific in nature. Every single instance of him breaking an item or effect stems from his ability to apply on-hit effects via a long-range spammy skillshot. I believe if his Q was entirely removed or at least reworked, a lot of the balance nightmare for him would go away. Unfortunately, since it'd also change a lot of his playstyle, IDK if they'll do it.
: I'm starting to wonder if the concept of an assassin is inherently bad for mobas. I think that in order to do their jobs properly they need tools and burst that makes them balance nightmares.
: Well in this specific case I don't even understand how the hell it happened. I play in silver/gold elo. And that shit just doesn't happen in my games. So much shit has to be executed extremely poorly in order for jhin to steal Baron. The team taking Baron has to allow jhin to simply auto something three times, DPS down the Baron to 1600 hp or so and let him walk up or flash in and kill it? That means that the team taking Baron either just didn't respect it, didn't have proper vision control, didn't have aan advantage, or was trolling. If you can't zone a squishy adc off of Baron while you are taking it then you don't deserve to have it because you didn't properly set up for it. Tldr. Gameplay matters. The OP complaining straight up messed up and is complaining cause he doesn't understand macro play to the extent he should.

Sure but when your teammates tells that person to play safe and build defensively and his/her response is "stfu" (no joke this actually happened in a game) and continues to die top lane its pretty much inting. Like if you cant listen to someone else when you're throwing the whole team behind because you wanna be stubborn sure but setting yourself up for failure is exactly the same as running down the lane. I mean if your plan is to run at them and kill them with dmg despite them having more dmg than you from being ahead as you ignore your whole team because its a stupid play, this is why high elo players say "im inting" when they make a stupid play.
No, it isn't, and the mistaken belief that it is is the lead problem here. Not listening to teammate suggestions is NOT inting. It's being arrogant. Personally, I've seen a lot of people give absolutely balls-out retarded advice. I've also seen pissy teammates accuse teammates of completely unfounded things; for example, having a toplaner flame me and my adc for dying instead of playing under tower.... when we died under the tower we'd been hugging for the last two minutes after the enemy jumgler was allowed to get to 8/1 by the ten minute mark. When confronted in chat after several interchanges he finally admitted he hadn't actually looked at what was happening. So yeah. I can completely understand someone not listening to the random PUG bozos in his team, even if they're right. Because once you filter out the blatantly incorrect advice, the uninformed criticism, the toxic flaming, the bad strategizing, and the blatantly obvious, the odds that the feedback in chat is useful are disconcertingly low.
: I'll say once again... Feeding =/= inting
I got an idea. If you report more than X times for inting and in all cases the reported suspect is deemed innocent, you should get a pop-up on your next log in that stops you from playing the game until you type out the meaning of the word "intentional", since clearly you don't understand it.

Given that, as a support, I'm highly unlikely to ever reach full build, I'd rather NOT have to work all game with components and maybe one finished item "just in case" the game lasts over an hour, especially since Riot is under the delusion that as a support player I just LOVE item actives, can't get enough of 'em.
: Warmog's threshold should look at resistances as well as health
But what if I'm a tank facing a predominantly (for example) magic damage team? I don't want to have to build armor vs mages and AP bruisers just because otherwise Warmogs won't work.
