oh boy I recall how i used to keep saying that sona needs a rework and she still needs one.. essentially she's in a decent spot right now judging her winrate, but that's only because she has literally one of the best ultimates in her kit, but.. that's sorta it.

I don't think it's too strong. Support champions really get a good active + stats that are pretty good on them. Gold cost efficienty for supports is still a problem honestly, as items like Mikaels are not as cost efficient for supports. Though, It shouldn't be as cheap as it is now. people can easily abuse its active, like Lee and Ivern, as they have supportive abilities in their kits (shields)

: The only thing they patched was the ability to buy multiples of the same item to stack healing bonuses. You can still buy different items with healing bonuses to stack the effect. That is why it has an unnamed unique passive instead of a named unique passive.
basically. They wanted to maka utility supports stronger without really forcing them to buy those 3000 gold ap items like deathcap and such. those stacking passives are a nice solution honestly for now until they rework the support scaling genre completely.

actually, those passives stack! it does not stack if the unqiue passive have the same name though. (or if you buy the same item twice) if you get a{{item:3504}} and a{{item:3222}} you get a max of 30% bonus heals and shields. if you get two {{item:3114}} , their passives wont stack, as they are the same items. Honestly, as a ap caster, kog has a passive that does not really help him at all. Not even as an adc honestly.the sudden burst of his E really helped him out as an ap caster and it getting nerfed is quite sad.
: Skins show customizability to an extent. Chromas add onto that quality. When you have a quality in a game that makes money, you milk it slowly instead of all all at once. Also skins make more money cuz chromas have a bi-annual IP sale.
I would understand the skins make more money than chromas, but I guess the 'slowly milking' part is what I don't get. Riot releases new skins every patch, so why not with chromas too, as they tend to be easier done and can do a great job too honestly.

No. He does not deserve a buff. He is already pretty strong in his current state, and he has a rather more complicated kit with insane play making potential. Now, because his passive requiers you to collect souls, you should make the best to collect those.

I wonder, could we get a sheen item for supports? there are quite a handful of supports who tend to auto attack, while their spells are on cooldown, or use it to harrass (nami, karma, sona, etc) And I think a utility based build path for sheen might be just awesome for them.

iirc, support items were introduced and it really helped out with supports gaining gold. also the rework for supports getting the sightstone, ward limits, and the special sight stone enhancements helped supports to like not be the only ones at warding and encourage their teammates to work together with their supports in order to win the map. I don't mind some major reworks for some "problem" cases like Sona. sure she was probably the strongest support in this season, but I think Riot is pushing her into the same direction as Cassiopia where she was unsatisfying to play, yet incredibly strong.

I think, ultimate skins usually tend to push the border with their concepts and make champions look unique and very unfamilliar. DJ sona may have alot of resemblance of her normal skin counterparts with her 'hair' and the 'etwahl' but she looks and feels different. That's what they've aimed for elementalist lux probably and I really adore that. She does not look childish and fun but serious and mature. But i hope she still has that perfect laugh

I can understand why people would want this, but now with the invention of hextech crafting you can test a skin for a period of time, and with the free champion rotation you can always test certain champions out if you want to. If there's a certain champion you'd like to try out, earning the ip for it won't hurt much either honestly.

Honestly, I've been trying to point riot out to an issue with visual impacts on a champion, but I haven't heard a response from them yet. It's personally a huge issue for me, and seeing how riot does not respond to it makes me kinda sad, as it has huge gameplay issues. I know there are people who yell "omg plants are stupid" or people who complain about the assasins rework without even having honest insight on them, and etc, but i assume some reesponse would be neat too.

: They literally said that they're going to make new items to fill the gap Aegis' aura is leaving, and Locket (and its active) will still exist. They brought up Mikael's and Censer to say that there ARE other defensive support items, not to say that they alone are good enough to make up for the removal of Locket. Get a grip. They're making multiple new items for supports and Aegis/Locket/Banner will get something new to replace the lost aura. This is not going to be a nerf to support as a role and support has been buffed a bunch of times lately anyway, so the "why does Riot keep nerfing us poor supports?!" dramatics don't fly. I main support, and life is the best its ever been for the role right now.
Honestly, i tested out the support item changes and they are strong. And now you dont have to rush locket anymore because your carry needs that mr... Lmao. The only thing i feel sad about is that locket looses its hp stat, and there are not alot of utility based items that give hp :/

They have high base damages at early game. Leblanc is probably the best example for this as her level 2 early game is quite brutal. Other Assasins like Zed or Fizz spike at 6 as their ultimate is aviable, and that's like the late early game usually at 7 or 8 mins. I do know that Assasins have extreme high outplay potential in their kits, but that part of their kit usually helps them at early game if they actually use it wisely.

Honestly, if someone is going to play an immobile mage instead of an assasin, I can see why they'd get banned. They completly counter some or make it hard to deal with as Mage. It is more of an strategic ban than a "they are so op pls nerf" ban, to secure that the mages won't have too much of an problem at early game where assasins simply exceel.
: Why does Sona's lvl 1 ult have 140 second CD?
Personally, Sonas ultimate has probably some of the highest potential ults in the whole game to turn around events into your favor (right behind amumu) and it's good that it's not on a lower cooldown early on. It gives me a feeling of punishement if I miss it at times at early levels, so I actually try my best to hit it next time. But the fact that you have to flash+ult to get a got engage with sona sucks. ~~lower cd of flash kthxbye~~

I reacted quickly, smacked them with my W powerchord, and focused on him as he tried to kill my adc wich seemed impossible for him. But you see, the enemy just kept on attacking, thinking he can kill my adc wich resulted them to die. You see, with exhaust there is this bright visual effect that shows that the target is exhausted wich everyone can react to, even if you focus on another target, but with Sonas powerchord its rather simple and not even noticeable at some times.

I personally think this item would be an intresting addition to the game. Of course it'd need some rebalancing, but a bunch of champions could really benefit from it who are auto attack based like Azir or Kayle. The amount of items that only have critical chance and attack speed is pretty low and these are {{item:3094}} {{item:3087}} {{item:3046}}{{item:3086}} , and there are two items that offers critical chance {{item:1051}} {{item:1018}} . Eventually try to invent more items without like alot of AP though, otherwise a bunch of AP assasins would of course get broken. Though,,, when I remember right, people really hate critical chance lately, wich is of course understandable, but honestly this item would still be an awesome addition to this game if Riot would try to balance it propertly.

I get what you are trying to say, and i would understand if she could chain powerchords as quickly as her prework, but it does not. After all, the disable was originally created to stop sona from spamming her three auras at once but not gate her powerchord potential.

Thats unfortunately true.. But the reason to keep that disable for her reworked kit is confusing me, since her reworked kit auras do not overlap at all anymore, meaning the disable just hinders her efficient powerchord charging.

Updated content, as well as new content has been stylistically changed to look better from an in game height, which means making it a bit less busy. A good comparison of this would be Arclight Varus (done in the old style) and Arclight Vayne (done in the new style). As for splash, it's a totally different medium from in-game, so they're not a 1:1, but they're similar.

I used to grow up with the old 1:1 Sona from ingame and splash, wich made me kinda sad, cause I grew up with her older design wich was lovely to me (even these tiny hearts made out of bass clefs! they're still on her newer model, though kinda really ... awkwardly positioned) Despite this being old and kinda really forgotten, I'm glad I've got a reply yo! its better to set up mushrooms on small paths and have distance between each shroom, so you can escape safely through them because if enemy champs walk on his shrooms they constantly get slowed.. lol

Teemos shrooms actually dont stack. They just refresh the poison when you got hit by one before.

I feel like his Pull has not as many risks as most of other hooks in this game. Sure, Thresh can always avoid going in, but if he DOES go in, he's risking his life and if he does a mistake he'll get punished hard for it. Same for Naut. And then there's blitz who's sitting in the bush, being an annoying threat to deal with, mostly because you need to react propertly or you're dead.

I heard, riot will rework runes in future too, because the invisible power they give is kinda very slight. Not sure anymore if they'll really do that, but stat boosting runes are really unfair when one of the player dont has runes yet..

I play lux alot, but i wouldnt say i main her, but i know her weakness. Shes fragile to any burst damage and literally explodes if you assasinate her propertly

Her E is dogeable, if you begin to kite it when its flying to you. Assasins have their dashes or blinks to dodge it, and pew, lux explodes. I might be in silver, but I am aware how fragile lux is, since she has 2 damage spells pre-6, and if she tries to trigger her passive she gets into vurnable range and can get easily killed. Also just putting a note here; if you dont try to counter her with items, like QSS, Banshees, or any other MR item, then you sure are doing something wrong
