Did you actually wait for a ticket response or did you just get impatient and send them over and over again? And being this hung up over one person isn't going to be good for you, please try to let this go. It's nasty what that person did but if you keep obsessing over it it's just going to make you feel worse.
: Player Toxicity and How to Solve IT
>Allow the use of words such as "R%%%%%", "Pussy", "Idiot", "Cringe", "Asshole", "Gtfo", "Noob", "Gay", etc., because negative behaviour is often socially reflected on someone's actions and it naturally regenerates into reflection and correction. These words often have a figurative and soft meaning which imperatively ought never ever to be decontextualized. Making insults allowable isn't going to stop toxicity, I don't know why you think that is. Insulting a player isn't going to make you play better and it certainly won't make them play better. Just be an adult and stop hurling insults in chat because it goes nowhere.

You could point out how maybe he was wrong for insulting others, or others in the game OP mentions were wrong. Considering I was talking to the OP and only the OP, I fully expected people here to take it personally. I'm hardly surprised it got downvoted, especially when people mistake the downvote button for a disagree button. Given what information OP has given us, it is equally likely that he genuinely believes one or more of the individuals on his team to be mentally sick and if they were treating him poorly enough, that is an adequate response. How exactly is that an insult? Telling someone they could be mentally ill isn't an insult. Oh, so we can't say that because it might hurt their precious little feelings, even if it could be a genuine problem that requires said individual to seek psychiatric help? The audacity of people on this board to think that every single person who posts threads here is some sort of lowlife scumbag makes them just as insufferable as anyone saying the "R word." To be honest, I'd be more bothered by that if the very people in this thread didn't immediately try to put words in his mouth and blame him for calling someone the "R word" even though he didn't (that's a stupid phrase btw, r%%%%%ed used to be a medi%%%%%erm as well). I also have no idea why we're following Riot's rules for communication when they can't even live up to those rules in their own workplace. I couldn't care less about downvotes on this board. Their habits not just in this thread, but other threads too speak for themselves well enough. Oh btw, yes I did notice that one person following all my posts and downvoting every single one of them. A word can have more than one meaning and never does one definition decide the context or the connotation of the other. I am fully aware that words can have more than one meaning. But using gay as an insult, whether you want to admit it or not, has its roots completely in homophobia. Because gay is a bad gross thing, calling things you don't like gay is saying being gay is bad. Even if you weren't intending to be homophobic, using gay as an insult is homophobic. That's like, all there is to it. By the way, your first source had a sample size of _40_, and the second source is an opinion piece from a guy who also plugs his book. Was that link supposed to do anything other than prove you wrong?
: Explain how a person wanting an explanation on why "dunno man sounds gay" is seen has homophobia and not as a regular statement?

Do you maybe want to think about why gay is the word you chose? Why did you use gay as a negative, as an implication of something bad? You do realize the reason it became "slang" is because gay is seen as bad, right? That's why some kids use it as shorthand for "this thing is bad", right?

How is that not homophobic? You directly related gay to be not manly in no uncertain terms in this very thread. homosexual=gay I used it for the same meaning( not manly)

So aside from it not being true it's still putting a negative connotation on being gay.

If this was true I'd probably be Diamond by now.

: Look at all the toxic self-righteous kids in this thread. I wish I was in your game and purposely steal all your Jungle camps, tax your lane, and do it for 5+ games in a row to aggravate you to become toxic in chat. Then I'll get my pre-made friends to all report you and have your account chat restricted for "being toxic." System is a joke. Most people who play this game lack commonsense and empathy. And 3/4 of them do exactly what I just described in the above paragraph.

If you think 75% of the people in this game are _purposely trolling you to get you banned_, it sounds like you might be the one with a problem here.
: I’m more than happy to read people’s comments who actually use logic and make sense, instead of being edgelords and crying like babies because they didn’t get their pink shiny stuff, even if it would mean ruining what those skins stand for.

I mean...yeah? Of course people are going to be unhappy if a beloved skinline gets messed with and goes against what people like about them in the first place, the aesthetics. There aren't a lot of skin lines in this game that are cute and sparkly and pastel. I love the magical girl look so seeing them deviate so much from what people were wanting and expecting is disappointing. i don't see how that makes me an edgelord.
: Been promised to us for at least 8 years and it's still nowhere in sight. Riot's "official stance" from Tryndamere himself is that "not all regions have access to easy authentication methods (cell phones, or whatever cheapy shit Blizzard practically gives away to protect their accounts) so we don't want to implement something that is only beneficial to some regions." I'd argue that you should protect those that you can in the meantime, and figure out the extra shit later.

This is so bizzarre.. if riot is worried about other regions or people not having secondary access, just make 2fa optional. What the heck
