: While they can be addictive, and it can cause frustration and aggressive mood swings if you're not allowed to play, they're only minorly addictive. They're nowhere near as addictive as substances, and "coming off" video games is not only quicker, but not actually damaging to the body like coming off a substance can be. It's a mental fixation more than anything, and it can typically be corrected with time spent away from games - like a vacation, or a trip, or anything that gets you out of the house. I don't think they need to be classified as addictions like substances nor treated as such.

Other than the super toxic chats (filled with hate speech) that is punished in 1 game, most people will accumulate a bunch of games before they get punished. Pick up a different game like smash bros and leave this rubbish community in the past... honestly nothing you say or do matters and when you lash out at people for trolling you get punished, so the best thing to do is join a different gaming community.

Modern operating systems give each program its own memory space and if they are operating correctly they cannot access the memory space of another program. This changes however when you run something as root/admin. But for op.gg to crash league two things would need to happen: your browser would need to have a vulnerability in it that allows a website to gain control (already really bad), then you would have to have a privileged escalation vulnerability present in your OS, which is also really bad. Assuming you have everything patched, this means that you are getting hit with a pair of zero day exploits that completely own a computer. Now this isn't impossible, but such a pair of exploits would be very valuable, as this is the sort of thing that once discovered in the wild will make national headlines. Does it go away if you change browsers? If it doesn't, then it most likely isn't op.gg. Honestly I would point my finger at one of a few things: a corrupt local file on your machine, a driver bug or a hardware issue.

Bump/Re/Edit: Percentages and numbers matter, when your auto attacks are dealing x amount of damage and so what does that do to the minion/ enemy laner and all of your attributes lifesteal vs what their kit is... Long story short, it's good to know your damage and what you can out put and what the enemy can do by a rough estimate, so you would know if a trade is worth it or not... or you might die most of my deaths in a 1 on 1 fight actually come from missed shots and not misjudging damage I'm dealing/taking or the enemy is dealing/taking

It's just super easy to look at games and an individual's performance, particularly against something standard like average competition and see how much it stands out. It's clear just how much better this player's micro and macro skill set is compared to the 1500-1900 competition range he just breezed through. But his displayed rank isn't showing even plat level yet, so the League System hasn't caught up to the MMR system, and even great players can't win every game in a row. So eventually his progression stagnates awkwardly because the two systems aren't aligned and requires more games than it should to display the rank it should. Which results in more of steamrolly games like what you experienced, leading to a decreased quality of experience for every player involved in those games. I'm just trying to say that I consider this a dramatic flaw in the ladder system's design and have been adamant about that since early in season 2 in a rather well documented fashion on the forums. I don't like it taking that many games, it doesn't leave any one playing with or against that type of situation feeling good.
