: think of it like this, this is riot's first steps into making new games, no? so if this succeeds maybe more will come as they mod the game. a game more like its a story based on the lore would be cool too. or one where you get a top-down perspective of a base-building and realtime strategy game for the ideas of wars between nations in runeterra. and yes, those concepts are based on games that I loved: starcraft and diablo.

Heroes of the Storm is a way for Blizzard to attract people from their other games. And the other way around. So if Riot made an MMO with all the champions from LoL, it would be an instant success. The player base is already there. Events shared between the two games would also be great.

I think LOL has the ability to take risks. They only have 1 freaking game. I think the tie-ins with events and missions will bring a lot of players. Besides LOL having the largest player base in the world. What LOL player wouldn't want to explore Runeterra?

: CDR doesn't help it, and it's only amplifying base AD, not AD from triforce, other items, or runes. If it worked like an actual crit, on Ezreal, for example, you'd be getting another 200 damage or so on top of that between Manamune, Triforce, Dblade and runes every single Q. The only time it's even remotely close to a crit is if the user rushed triforce and had no AD in their runes. Base AD is just the AD a champion has with no items, runes, or buffs.

And even though you said things like this? - "We could talk about other streamers being showcased. But Tyler1 is the most egregious."? - "Yeah...I would expect at least a 95% good behavior rate. If eSports is gonna frequently debut a person." - "For me, being popular means shit. : The League community has had and always will have a massively vocal toxic community. Just because they can attach a name to their "cause" (if you want to call it that) that doesn't mean said person is responsible for the actions of the group. One content creator can't control millions of viewers and if they've been influenced by him in a negative way, that's their issue. It's not fair to link Tyler1 to League's issues of toxicity especially since they've always been there. Whether it grows or stagnates is not the responsibility or result of one person.

So what he says in his streams, while it isn't under Riot's jurisdiction, it WILL REFLECT ON RIOT because they've chosen him as some kind of poster boy. So yeah, he shouldn't get banned for shit he says on Twitch or whatever. But Riot shouldn't also be promoting or catapulting someone to fame on their reputation when they KNOW this person is being a flaming sphincter in other media platforms. When Riot throws their lot in with Tyler1 and chooses to promote him, his behavior in other media platforms BECOMES their problem by association. It's the very reason other companies have dumped celebrities for saying insane or abrasive shit on Twitter and other platforms - they don't want that kind of behavior associated with them. So Tyler1 reformed. Fantastic for him. If he wants to continue being one of Riot's poster boys for the game and in their eSports scene as a caster or whatever, he has to shape up and not be toxic through any of his social media, because his relationship with Riot now demands that he stay on his best behavior or become a PR scandal for the company.

Everyone including Riot should be asking "What have you learned from Tyler1? How has watching him made you a better gamer?"

But to claim that he's only "toxic" now on stream and not in game is completely inaccurate.

: Is calling teammates r%%%%%ed or braindead considered toxic? Calling them trash? Saying gg ez every single game? Sure Tyler1 isn't as toxic as he used to be, but don't act like he's never "toxic" in game anymore. He absolutely still is by Riots definition of "toxicity".

I just care about IN GAME what he did. How do all the people in game he trolled feel? All the inting and personal attacks. How many people lost games because of him. Important Rank games. But whatever, he is a twitch success, ie lot of followers and money. I guess if we were all ambitious enough to have all those viewers then Riot would forgive us for bad behavior. He was banned for life. ID ban.
