: Malzahar, 1: i love the little creep he summons with his passive. 2: the little creep does not do much :( Velkoz: 1: i like pulling off a combo and taking an enemy from full to zero. 2: he doesnt really add much to the team besides tons of damage. Brand: again i like the combos. when the combos arent up there isnt much to really do. he doesnt feel different enough from velkox vlad: i like being a vampire. i dont like feeling that i do no damage.

Vel'koz has the longest projectile slow in the game. As a support Vel'koz I can get picks on enemy team since I max Q first.

: I think Vel'koz is a balanced champ, and about his ult "impossible to escape at medium range", i think it's fine because if you are at medium range far from an enemy means you are exposed to the enemy team, in other words, you are dead. I suggest just 1 change, maybe give him some movement speed boost when Q is used ( just like Ahri's Q ), could be a good way to repositioning after a full combo in teamfight, or just to escape frome some gank in early game. Cheers ^^ {{champion:161}}

I buy it every game.

: Really good point. We don't intend to destroy Support playstyles, but truthfully many of these champions' fantasies and gameplay manifest best in a role where they can get gold and be the primary threat for their team. We're very aware that Zyra, Vel'Koz, and even Brand to some extent all have identities in the Bot Lane.

I main Vel'koz support and peaked Diamond 3 last season. Vel'koz support most core gameplay is the ability to play mind games with his bot lane opponents. When your champion has the ability to alter the direction of their skill shot after the initial cast, your opponents must determine if you are going to full length cast or cut it short to guess their dodge. This to me is what makes Vel'koz fun, the ability to keep your opponents guessing "how is this Vel'koz going to alter their Q?" I love the geometry play of Vel'koz. Weaving your Q through minions to hit that perfect angle is so satisfying. Akin to Anivia's wall who sets up their Stun by determining which direction their opponent runs to go around the wall, Vel'koz can do the same thing with his Plasma Fission and Tectonic Disruption. Enemy has to either take the full length cast of Vel'koz Q and get slowed or run back to dodge the Q and get his by his knockback. His problems are more mid lane then support Vel'koz. You have to max Void Rift and conserve mana to just focus on pushing waves until 6. If I go mid you just play safe until teamfights like Karthus. Because of the map design bot lane being an L shape, it is much easier to hit your Plasma Fission than mid lane. In mid lane, the only time you have mana to cast your Plasma Fission is when you setting up a gank with your jungler to force your opponent in a certain direction. I don't like Mid Vel'koz because its just a farm fest until team fights unlike support Vel'koz, where I can cast his Q on cooldown and his mind game mechanics start at level 1. I'll leave you with this. As a support Vel'koz player I strive for this perfection every game. {{champion:161}} https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wUHbPetHOA
