You : 2500 MMR, team mates could be high or low and the problems come into play when you get two or three high MMR players matched with 2 or 3 low MMR players to give you that average . Que Timers #! YAY!
: If you were permanently banned will you get banned again for making another account?
How would they know. If they were serious about bans, they wouldn't ban accounts, they would be banning IP's.
: There is no way promos use the same matchmaking
It has been proven and proven and even commented on that Rito enforces a roughly 50% win streak. Adjusted by MMR. To GET to promos, you are on a win streak. It is only logical that byt the time you do, your MMR is already at the higher rank, therefore placing you in said higher ranked games. My only kicker to this is, EVERYONE in the promo needs to be, at MINIMUM, close to the same rank. But for the all the "averaging" of freaking MMR that goes on , you could potentially get someone from 5 + or more divisions lower than yours in your promo. And THAT is for the fucking birds. That is what needs to be fixed.
: how does one properly implement it? I've seen it abused in everything from RPGs to FPS and it's always annoying, especially if people think that you are ignoring them because you have it turned off or mute it so you can get any peace because they play "music" in the background or have people yelling at them among other things... then on top of that, there is usually no way to filter it, so people end up jumbled together because no one can hold a proper conversation and everyone thinks that they are in charge
: Didn't you learn your lesson from Klein Riot?
"Forced to agree" runs counter to forced to work somewhere. Don't like the clause, go work elsewhere.
: Can we do something about creep block
The issue I have with creepblock is one of pathing. The pathing system in LOL is actually one of the worst, modern game, path coding I have experienced. Creeps should not ever keep you from moving, period. Pathing needs to be coded in sequence, one direction, blocked, fine, go around.

Does skill not matter in platinum at all this season? It's so fucking ridiculous that stupid teammates lose you the game so fucking hard even when you're massively ahead. Damage. Agency. For the first 5 seasons or so, damage was such that a protracted game involved skill/tactics and coordination in order to effectively pull a win. There were some outliers. Hypercarries, and some others who literally carried games. Fast forward to where now everyone has agency, and damage is through the roof. The mindset of bull rushing your opponent is a new thing. But I see it everywhere, why? Simple, the aggressors usually win and Riot's obsession with 'faster' games has been realized. Soon this game will be full on first person shooter. Tactics are gone, trading (as a skill) is gone. Managing a wave (mostly gone) because killing someone as fast as possible is rewarded even more, turrets are still paper machete. A single team fight loss could potentially cost you the game. A couple of deaths in a lane is almost a sure fire lane loss. This game is exactly what Riot made it. If they wanted to fix it, they could. But they would need to start off by decreasing damage across the board (from all sources) by 50% minimum.

Supports wanted to feel the same. 2. Riot is too dumb to grant people vision of these things so JUST LIKE THEY DID WITH SUPPORTS, they are just giving them more damage, Presto!

: League of Legends no longer feels like our game anymore.
It is far from just damage. Remember when no one wanted to play supports? And then they buffed buffed and buffed them some more? Now they are on par with a mid mage or in a lot of respects, BETTER than mid mages. That was a huge power creep. The items have been going up in power since then. And the revolving door of who is bursting whom has just been going round and round since the tank meta. Tanks shouldnt be bursting ANYTHING, they should be tanking. And no Tanks shouldnt be killing anything, they should be tanking and controlling the targets so that THEIR TEAM can kill their target. Asassins should be isolating and killing squishies (if alone), if not alone they shouldnt be walking out with a double. CC, let's talk about this hidden gem for a second. Remember when like 3 or 4 toons had CC? Morg, Malz, Blitz /Thresh inspired fear! Now, everyone has some sort of CC and it's just plain bonkers. Splash damage, EVERYWHERE. The game is going or maybe gone down a rabbit hole that they likely will never recover from There are too many issue with too many things. At the end of the day, I play when bored at work but I used to play for hours at home and hours and hours on the weekends. Those days are gone.

Nerfing damage across the board sounds like an ideal solution. It is Riot's stated intention to lower times of games yes? Make those crazy LCS plays riight? When was the last time you have seen a risky LCS play? The best teams in the world play methodically. Why? Because a single mistake could cost the game DUE to damage, objective importance, and overall stagnation of lane play (Granted lane play has always been stagnant) With damage where it is, you no longer see those risky plays. The game times are definitely shorter, usually because of one snowball team or another. Terrible game design, terrible forethought into what they wanted to accomplish. I figure they will eventually close up shop as I sincerely doubt they reverse course at this point.

: I feel like ADCs have no problem with going into other lanes and taking their cs for no reason
In other seasons, people wanted their own lanes to farm, period. So yes the screaming, the crying was unjustified as ALL the classes had a chance at carrying. These days, they are entirely justified as the only class that is going to hard carry a game is a well played, well fed ADC. It's Riot's own fault but this game is made to be played as a cohesive unit. So at this point, if your entire teams focus IS NOT "feed the adc" whether that is CS or kills, you are playing a losing strategy. Sad, but true.
Kaioko (NA)
: It's part of the game mechanic and has been for what seems forever (I think even when i started in 2009 it was like that although that was years ago so who knows. The basic wiki does a fair enough job to describe it: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Critical_strike
The wiki says this "Critical strike chance will adjust dynamically based on the number of basic attack that didn't critically strike. At 30% critical strike chance, if you basic attack without critically striking, your critical strike chance will temporarily be increased to 60%, and if you fail again, it will be increased to 90%, then to 100% if you fail again. The critical strike chance increase will reset whenever you critically strike. " All that does is guarantee that you get to crit with some level of crit chance. It still remains possible (DOES NOT GO DOWN) to crit 5, 10 or 20 times in a row. And in todays day and age where everything that ADC's take has crit chance and then IE (which increases crit damage), it is no wonder damage has creeped, jumped, bounded and leaped. Thus the need for CDR, increased shields and need for incresing a tanks ability to tank. Something totally unrelated but adds to the overall chaotic cluster is splash damage, now EVERYONE has it.
Kaioko (NA)
: Couple things -- 1.) Crit isn't as random as people seem to think. The first attack is but then subsequent attacks get adjusted based on on whether you crit or not on your previous ones 2.) CDR was added when ridiculous AP ratios and AP amounts got removed. I mean I used to main Kayle back in 2010 and it was great to have a point and click Q that had a 1.0 AP ratio on a character whose old passive made them reach around 900 AP, but you can't tell me that would somehow be acceptable today. CDR allows for abilities to be more dynamic and the game to be more fun overall as player's skills have increased.

Want to share your reasoning as to how crit gets adjusted based upon whether you crit an earlier aa? If I flip a coin a hundred times, it could still potentially land heads 100 times. Each flip is a 50/50 chance, now over 10,000 or 100,000 flips, at some point it is supposed to balance out but that doesn't change the randomness of the flip

Ahm idk if there is any point in telling you that both situations were about luck? Right, and in a game of (supposed) skill, "luck" should not be a factor. RNG should have been long dead as a design idea, much less being expanded upon.

The person that disconnects gets a loss and is in the leavebuster que if it happens enough. As for the other 4 people getting one of the teammates to be the one to take the penalty, I mean seriously? You guys evidently don'y play much ARAM, you can't even get people to play as a team with the craptastic S system (leading everyone to play like death is permanent) much less get someone to drop out of a game and take a penalty FOR THE TEAM!

: The reason we lost is not because we lost the independent vote, it's because Trump appealed to the lowest common denominator and brought out more white Americans (of varying stances) than expected. The white people in America chose the racism and misogyny of DJT over a message of hope.

That same message of hope that turned out to be a lie of the last 8 years. Americans don't want or need HOPE, the want and need CHANGE. I'm no Trump fan but damn people are tired of the same old same old shit in politics.
: Have any of you ever eaten super expensive steak
The thing about super expensive steaks is like super expensive wines, you (plural US) don't usually know the difference. I have had some really good $20 steaks and some terrible $75 ones. It definitely isnt the cost of the steak that makes it tasty, but rather the place that prepares and cooks it. I have yet to have a place cook me a steak better than I can grill myself.

: Riot should add "Would/Wouldn't like to play with him again" button.
If the report system was functioning as it is supposed to function, there wouldn't be a need for this as the toxic, non-caring, cancerous folks would be removed from game, quickly. It isn't, so they aren't.

Now, what we need is something to punish those who report for no good reason ...

The simplest and easiest fix for him is to tie him to a manapool. Period.
