I wish there was an AP item that increased AP by % (50?) for few (5) seconds.

I think i know the answer to that.
This is a team game and so if you are rewarded more than anyone else in your team, then it's not much a of a team game anymore.
Let me explain what I mean.
1. your team is loosing and you know it, so why make risky plays when you can just play safe and not kill your KDA; lose less LP. What this effectively means is that there are no comeback games anymore because none will want to take the risk, but instead accepting defeat and take a SMALL LP hit. Because, if you are loosing then there's almost always someone feeding on your team. The idea that you can actually climb the ladder on the cost of other team players is rather toxic :P you lose less, they lose more.
The simple answer why riot isn't doing this is probably that they like LC$ and flashy plays, they want to reward risky plays and not the other way around.
On the loosing games, it's easier to acknowledge this.
But what about the winning games?
Should you get more LP for great KDA, great farming, objective kills, or?
If the answer is a better KDA then certain roles are more rewarded(given that they know how to play that role) than other roles. ADC etc.
Then what about using that grade system to determine LP? Maybe that would work, maybe it wouldn't. One scenario I see is KSing other players to be rewarded more LP themselves, creating both a more toxic environment, but also, again, reducing team-playing; which is not what riot wants (I think).
It's easy to see the benefits of this suggested LP system, but it would only work if everyone plays like a princess and that my friend isn't league of legends :P

I actually havnt played in weeks.
game just kind of toned down. now it feels like one of those games that you play in between other games once in a while when you are bored.
game goes BOOM BOOM dmg and its fun for a little and then its not.

perhaps the real problem is not the paper that makes up the tower but the gold that is awarded for tearing one up?
I've always been for buffing towers back up but I've come to realize that this will never happen, because, the damage in this game is upped every major patch.
So instead, just playing with the thought here, what would happen if your team wern't awarded any gold for destroying towers anymore?
It should drastically reduce the gold boost, hence reduce snowballism.
Destroying towers to gain more vision->strategy should be what's more relevant anyhow.

Hi there player support here! Since the recent update yesterday you now need level 100 to keep the deal effective (2/3 to max level just like level 20 /-level 30).
let us know when you get there! ;)

depends on what wrong means to you. If honor means nothing to you then there's nothing wrong with being cocky and disrespecting your opponents in media. You will look ridiculous though if you get stomped by that opponent in a game right after :)
However, by staying humble after a win, you will have an easier time not underestimating your opponent the next time you face off.
|
|||||
![]()
lol what?
|
|||||
![]()
Yeah it's like the first time he says something cocky to the media (atleast from the big interviews). Atleast wasn't cocky the first 3 world championships :p
People talk about irony about the legends never die song, but if there's any real irony out there it's how strict he has been with respecting your opponent and now when he finally let go of that humbleness; he lost a worlds final.
|
|||||
![]()
I dont think he believes that he is invincible. Quite the opposite really; I think this is why he remains one of the best, if not the best player in the world. Always staying humble, always respecting your opponent.
|
|||||
he never said that stop making shit up
Edit: I'm wrong.
|
|||||
![]()
faker is not cocky, he is probably the most humble player to have won the world championship.
|
|||||
![]()
I think you win 3 world championships only with a specific mind set. Faker takes every world championship like it's the first world championship, it's the only way to stay on top of the game. People will still recognize him for the amazing player he is, but he isn't untouchable anymore and that's what must be hurting.
|
|||||
![]()
it is if you are iconic to the game. It's as if he lost his immortality.

still the best player in the world. Unfortunately this is a team game.

I think RNG will beat SKT tonight only because SKT struggled with misfits. With their experience they shouldn't had lost two games. SKT doesn't look as dominating this year.
I think we will see RNG vs Samsung in the finals and I'm not sure who will take the win.
Both crown and uzi has worked hard and fought a long time for this and I think this year one of them will take it.
Would love to see uzi win but something tells me that Samsung is more prepared, but who knows?

If you've seen the stream it's pretty obvious that he was hitting her as she was crying, how can you defend this? even if she was able to somehow pretend that she was being hit while he is trashing the apartment(that is visible on stream) what would be her motive for doing so?
|
|||||

saw the video of the stream on YouTube and all I can say is that I hope he rot in hell for what he did. A man who hits his woman is not a man at all, how weak and pathetic. I hope the cops are able to put him away for a long time. Whether or not he is found guilty(based on the evidence that they may be lacking since it it's mostly just audio) I'll never accept his return to competitive play. That will be the day I call riot headquarters.

> You are a little bit out of the loop then. Next year they are franchising, aka whoever offers the most money whether it be up front or over time from viewership gets in. They do respect the teams they already have, but in reality there are 100 more offers that can replace them if the team doesn't offer enough. Promotion/relegation tournaments won't exist next season. There will essentially be a minor (academy) league and a major (LCS) league. Teams cannot cross-over the league borders, but they may have subsidiaries in both.
for real? that pretty much makes it impossible for new talented teams to make it into the LCS by themselves; not cool.
this is how unicorns of love made it in, Lemondogs, and Origin.
very disappointing to hear :/

Im a little bit surprised here.
I thought in order to stay in the NALCS one has to perform and remain as one of the better teams in the league?
This makes it look like its all about the money tbh.
Immortals kicked out because rito is afraid of viewership heading to overwatch, and echo fox has to pay a ridiculous amount of 10 million to buy in?
I'm sorry but, if you decide to kick out a team, shouldn't that spot be replaced by the next great team from the promotion tournament?
I have never seen this side of rito before.

well what about number of skins per champion, thats not exactly fair either. Take Yorick for instance... Been in the game forever. Im sure more emotes would be added as time goes on considering the feature was just added NOW.

EDG did well last year, atleast made it out of groups. And RNG almost always makes it to semi finals. Team WE was but the only team I expected to not perform off the Chinese

Me too, this is a big surprise to me

But but... they beat RNG in playoffs and here is RNG performing well but not EDG?
I can see the third place being common tho, although I'd expect them as second

great analysis, I've reasoned the same way about WE and originally placed them as an underperformer for this worlds but, I've come to realize that they are a very consistent team in comparison to the others and so I'm also placing them first now.
FW I must also agree. This team is like wtf. Generally does well during worlds but has had problems (apparently) during the the split, although I've not watched them play. I think they can either show up or finish last.
I guess it all comes down to bo1 like you said, and anything can happen. If TSM is smart they will prep with a surprise move and explosive wins for each game, but they would need to have something down their sleeve for every game. This is not exactly what TSM normally does. Like you said, what you see is what you get. Couldn't be more true about this team.
I guess the question is, are FW and MSF better at bo1 than TSM? this isn't na lcs where slow, coordinated games matter as much as having the element of surprise. This is something that definitely is worrysome.
generally agree with you on group A and B.
curious on group C. Although we expect G2 to show up, are you sure that they can best RNG?
Looking back at LPL playoff. all games involved WE, EDG, and RNG were won 3-2, and so I think that they are all really strong and even teams. Just a thought.
