I love playing teemo :P if it isn't statik shiv its ludens echo xD hands down teemo has never been this fun to play.
: I been begging for this for years. For LP to be influnced by grades Scenario examples I have a kda of 7/2/14 I won the game, someone on my team went 1/9/3, I carried my team while this guy did EVERYTHING in his power to make the game challenging. We are most likely to get the same 18/21 Lp reward mark, why on earth is he being given the same LP as me when he made my life hell? I feel like I just did a school team project, and he didn't do anything while I did everything but we both got an A. That's bullshit Reverse scenario I have a Kda of 6/4/14, my teamates have the score of 1/8/2 2/5/1 0/4/1 and 2/12/4. All five of us will most likely lose 20 LP, but I clearly tried my best and at the least played decently, why on earth am I being punished to the same level as they are? This is equilvent to having a justice system but every crime is the death penalty. Person kills a man: DEATH PENALTY me drops trash: DEATH PENALTY
I think i know the answer to that. This is a team game and so if you are rewarded more than anyone else in your team, then it's not much a of a team game anymore. Let me explain what I mean. 1. your team is loosing and you know it, so why make risky plays when you can just play safe and not kill your KDA; lose less LP. What this effectively means is that there are no comeback games anymore because none will want to take the risk, but instead accepting defeat and take a SMALL LP hit. Because, if you are loosing then there's almost always someone feeding on your team. The idea that you can actually climb the ladder on the cost of other team players is rather toxic :P you lose less, they lose more. The simple answer why riot isn't doing this is probably that they like LC$ and flashy plays, they want to reward risky plays and not the other way around. On the loosing games, it's easier to acknowledge this. But what about the winning games? Should you get more LP for great KDA, great farming, objective kills, or? If the answer is a better KDA then certain roles are more rewarded(given that they know how to play that role) than other roles. ADC etc. Then what about using that grade system to determine LP? Maybe that would work, maybe it wouldn't. One scenario I see is KSing other players to be rewarded more LP themselves, creating both a more toxic environment, but also, again, reducing team-playing; which is not what riot wants (I think). It's easy to see the benefits of this suggested LP system, but it would only work if everyone plays like a princess and that my friend isn't league of legends :P
: Unhappy with LOL’s current state? Lack of Dev empathy? Boycott skin purchases.
: Something is really wrong with the state of this game..
I actually havnt played in weeks. game just kind of toned down. now it feels like one of those games that you play in between other games once in a while when you are bored. game goes BOOM BOOM dmg and its fun for a little and then its not.
: Can we get just ONE Rioter to address towers??
perhaps the real problem is not the paper that makes up the tower but the gold that is awarded for tearing one up? I've always been for buffing towers back up but I've come to realize that this will never happen, because, the damage in this game is upped every major patch. So instead, just playing with the thought here, what would happen if your team wern't awarded any gold for destroying towers anymore? It should drastically reduce the gold boost, hence reduce snowballism. Destroying towers to gain more vision->strategy should be what's more relevant anyhow.

Hi there player support here! Since the recent update yesterday you now need level 100 to keep the deal effective (2/3 to max level just like level 20 /-level 30). let us know when you get there! ;) -rito supreme (Obvious joke I am no riot employee)

XDDD?? Now What I described is the behaviour i use myself Best way to be seen as a god is not to say anything after you get pentakill for example. Act like it happens every 3 seconds or whatever Faker never seemed humble to me. Oh he bends the head, he shakes hands WOW There is nothing wrong with not being humble though
depends on what wrong means to you. If honor means nothing to you then there's nothing wrong with being cocky and disrespecting your opponents in media. You will look ridiculous though if you get stomped by that opponent in a game right after :) However, by staying humble after a win, you will have an easier time not underestimating your opponent the next time you face off.

: **_"I hope to finish the final series within 3 games so I can go eat quickly"_** -Faker, Prior to Worlds 2017 Finals _(I don't really enjoy watching him so broken regardless)_
Yeah it's like the first time he says something cocky to the media (atleast from the big interviews). Atleast wasn't cocky the first 3 world championships :p People talk about irony about the legends never die song, but if there's any real irony out there it's how strict he has been with respecting your opponent and now when he finally let go of that humbleness; he lost a worlds final.
: Believing you're invincible is the first step to defeat.
I dont think he believes that he is invincible. Quite the opposite really; I think this is why he remains one of the best, if not the best player in the world. Always staying humble, always respecting your opponent.
: Faker " I hope can finish the finals series in 3 matchs so i can eat earlier"
he never said that stop making shit up Edit: I'm wrong.
Enfeeble (NA)
: I personally love seeing Faker like that, him & his team are super cocky. I do not feel bad/sorry for him what so ever.
faker is not cocky, he is probably the most humble player to have won the world championship.
: I'm not sure why he was sad I mean the dude won 3 worlds right? I would still be happy about that and accept this defeat and get ready for next year.
I think you win 3 world championships only with a specific mind set. Faker takes every world championship like it's the first world championship, it's the only way to stay on top of the game. People will still recognize him for the amazing player he is, but he isn't untouchable anymore and that's what must be hurting.
Osbeorn (EUNE)
: I thought it was just silly by faker, he's already won so much.. losing for once is not something to be so upset about. Especially when SSG were clearly better today.
it is if you are iconic to the game. It's as if he lost his immortality.

I think RNG will beat SKT tonight only because SKT struggled with misfits. With their experience they shouldn't had lost two games. SKT doesn't look as dominating this year. I think we will see RNG vs Samsung in the finals and I'm not sure who will take the win. Both crown and uzi has worked hard and fought a long time for this and I think this year one of them will take it. Would love to see uzi win but something tells me that Samsung is more prepared, but who knows?

If you've seen the stream it's pretty obvious that he was hitting her as she was crying, how can you defend this? even if she was able to somehow pretend that she was being hit while he is trashing the apartment(that is visible on stream) what would be her motive for doing so?

You are a little bit out of the loop then. Next year they are franchising, aka whoever offers the most money whether it be up front or over time from viewership gets in. They do respect the teams they already have, but in reality there are 100 more offers that can replace them if the team doesn't offer enough. Promotion/relegation tournaments won't exist next season. There will essentially be a minor (academy) league and a major (LCS) league. Teams cannot cross-over the league borders, but they may have subsidiaries in both.

: Immortals will not be in the NA LCS
Im a little bit surprised here. I thought in order to stay in the NALCS one has to perform and remain as one of the better teams in the league? This makes it look like its all about the money tbh. Immortals kicked out because rito is afraid of viewership heading to overwatch, and echo fox has to pay a ridiculous amount of 10 million to buy in? I'm sorry but, if you decide to kick out a team, shouldn't that spot be replaced by the next great team from the promotion tournament? I have never seen this side of rito before.

: Didn't they win worlds one year? I'd say that's accomplishing something at worlds.
No they didn't. Besides the Korean teams and fnatic, the only other team to have won worlds is taipei assassins which I believe is from Taiwan, not china. I think people put lms high because of uzi and his team RNG. Which has actually made it to the finals(more than once(Unsure). Uzi being the winner of the 1v1 tournament in allstar last year. On my record he has always been top 3 adc in the world.
: I expected them to be 3rd. Chinese teams tend to poorly internationally. NA and EU get a lot of hate regarding how bad they tend to do but the Chinese teams despite sometimes having 3+ koreans don't do any better. In fact, they under perform a lot. So i expected them not to do as good C9 too also tends to do the best of all NA teams in worlds. AHQ also tends to show up on worlds.
EDG did well last year, atleast made it out of groups. And RNG almost always makes it to semi finals. Team WE was but the only team I expected to not perform off the Chinese
: I placed EDG as second
Me too, this is a big surprise to me
MysterQ (NA)
: I have Misfits at two. They may still fail me, but why would everyone place EUs number 2 (sorry G2 group of death) so low. I mean sure they don't look as good as everyone else, but I think too many people discounted them. EDG as 3rd is probably super common. NA fans want C9 in it, so they have to drop someone and obviously won't drop SKT. Now EDG at 4th would be an amazing call (although they can likely get 3rd).
But but... they beat RNG in playoffs and here is RNG performing well but not EDG? I can see the third place being common tho, although I'd expect them as second
: I put them in 4th. I have not watched pro play this season so have *no* idea where anyone except SKT is expected to place; I suppose my ignorance helped my decision? https://i.gyazo.com/ee4d9cf9eed4fb4d49e99f26b0c86c9e.png
Cheers to you my friend I need some of that ignorance :D

: My pick-em's logic went something like this: A: SKT, EDG, C9, AHQ - appears like a standard group with a possibility of C9 leapfrogging EDG for second. From what I hear AHQ doesn't look all that good and they're the only team I haven't watched this year. B: LZ, FNC, GAM, IMT - other than LZ at first, this one could end up being totally different. GAM is good at BO1s and FNC is FNC. You never really know what you're gonna get with them. If they pop off they take 2nd easily. I'm not sure how IMT will perform on the big stage. They looked really good in NALCS, but this is totally different. Like I said, this group is muddy. C: SSG, G2, RNG, FB - for me it's a battle for 2nd. There's a distinct possibility that the top 3 teams can all play well and take games off one another, but it's hard to bet against Koreans. FB are likely to go 0-6 unless someone completely disrespects them. This group is all about who is most consistent. G2, I'm looking at you. Don't fail ... again. D: WE, FW, TSM, MSF - this one is probably the hardest to predict. WE didn't look as dominant in play-ins as expected. It's to be determined whether that's a sign of things to come, or whether they were just warming up. FW is very unpredictable and I think the group shapes up according to how they perform. I was tempted to give TSM the benefit of the doubt, but that came back to bite me last year when I picked them to top their group. The problem I have with TSM is that they don't seem to have another gear. They go hard all the time and what you see is what you get. I think other teams have an easier time preparing for them. Speaking of, preparation is what MSF does really well. I think them being overlooked plays into their hands. I'm looking at this group and see TSM splitting with FW and MSF and losing both games to WE, while FW splits with all 3 teams to edge TSM for second. Or it could be another tie breaker scenario for second. I seriously wouldn't be surprised with any way this group ended up. So, yeah, don't have a lot of expectations for NA teams, but at least I won't be as disappointed if/when they don't do anything.
great analysis, I've reasoned the same way about WE and originally placed them as an underperformer for this worlds but, I've come to realize that they are a very consistent team in comparison to the others and so I'm also placing them first now. FW I must also agree. This team is like wtf. Generally does well during worlds but has had problems (apparently) during the the split, although I've not watched them play. I think they can either show up or finish last. I guess it all comes down to bo1 like you said, and anything can happen. If TSM is smart they will prep with a surprise move and explosive wins for each game, but they would need to have something down their sleeve for every game. This is not exactly what TSM normally does. Like you said, what you see is what you get. Couldn't be more true about this team. I guess the question is, are FW and MSF better at bo1 than TSM? this isn't na lcs where slow, coordinated games matter as much as having the element of surprise. This is something that definitely is worrysome. generally agree with you on group A and B. curious on group C. Although we expect G2 to show up, are you sure that they can best RNG? Looking back at LPL playoff. all games involved WE, EDG, and RNG were won 3-2, and so I think that they are all really strong and even teams. Just a thought.
