I can't remember the last time I got excited for a champion except I think Skarner and Hecarim...

an Escape, but only if you know you can actually get away. You want to save flash as long as possible and hopefully try to make your opponent burn their flash. Once they burn their flash, then you can think about using your flash to secure a kill because they don't have the summoner spell up. EDIT: Just remember, the first person to burn a summoner spell is usually then at a disadvantage. Play more cautiously if you're forced to burn your summoners to prevent a death and hang back until timers come back.

I've had instances where: * I "E" someones soul and I'm standing next to two or one tentacle. They will strike the soul and then one of them gets destroyed from being attacked and then I respawn a new one in its place and then it attacks the soul again * Same as previous, but the newly spawned tentacle DOES NOT attack at all and sits there like a derp * I E someone and then ult and the spawned tentacles from Ult attack towards the soul * Same as previous except the tentacles from ult DON'T attack * I W to attack a target, but instead the champion does pathing circles like a derp around the intended target As far as what you've listed, I thought some things were feeling weird. Maybe that is some of them.

I wouldn't mind the autofill feature, if I could have the option to pick only one role or sometimes go the current two roles. That way I can do my due diligence of autofilled games and then during my immunity phases play only one role. Otherwise, I'd rather have the old draft system back.

More often than not, you did happen to get the role you wanted. (If you didn't experience this, I'm sorry you had to go through that) The fact we now have an automated system that puts labels of the position your playing on means while you COULD try to negotiate for a lane swap, the system doesn't reward anyone nor support it because why would anyone swap something they got (or wanted) since it TELLS YOU "I'm the top laner sorry, look at my label for this game that the algorithmic machine gave me. Its what I wanted after all anyway"

That Season in review feature is bugged for me on my main browser so I have to look at it with a different one. And some of the _suggestions_ were just absurd. It even said my best ranked champion was Katerina.... When like hello? I only played 3 games with her and the one game I won my KDA was 17-2 or something and the combination of those 3 Katerina games was a 33% win rate. Uh huh sure... It was like looking at an April fools joke in motion.

: Catalyst rush on Illaoi?
where are you playing her? A Solo lane or somewhere else? Illaoi really doesn't need catalyst to succeed and honestly Righteous glory might be great during midgame but the component items don't give you anything in terms of champion spikes, only HP buffers which is null without resistances. The point being is, from early to mid game you're supposed to be getting damage to take advantage of those immediate item spikes you get to press on through the rest of the game. Buying catalyst and a crystalline bracer rush to Righteous glory means you don't have the 1 or 2 AD items to compete against your lane opponent, which probably has a damage item or two and renders your HP to nothing and then what? You have to farm LONGER to get your next item. Your first and second items are important, cause after that getting to your 3rd onward items becomes a tug of war depending on how you and your team is fairing against the enemy. Do you have problems while playing Illaoi? Or just thinking of ideas to propagate.
: Tracker's Knife-- What's keeping it back?
I always use trackers knife when I jungle because I like to keep tabs on areas with warding. But my biggest issue with it is the fact that I'm forced to port back to shop to refresh the charges. I think it would be better if killing jungle camps gave you a charge back or if it worked like the trinket where it refreshes based off cool down or BOTH. I still miss my Trail blazer...

Hey, speak for yourself. I actually enjoyed the old draft system, AND I did happen to get my role 90% of the time. Why? Because I communicated with my team and they with me on what everyone's preferences were. I understood that there were times I had to take one for the team, but atleast back then you could negotiate with players. Now its an automated system and there is no negotiating that, and why would any player now trade with you when the system that was created tells them the role they are intended to play that current match? Either we should have been given the role selection or not at all, because now that the current and new players have gotten a taste of what is it like to only play selective roles, autofill will never work. and by the way, I was originally a Jungle pref > support secondary player before we got role selection

And hopefully people don't misunderstand me. I like having the choice to select a role I want, but at the same time I used to be a jungle main that secondary support as my preference. Role selection took my secondary position out of the equation because it made it forced all the time. After experiencing all the stuff going on, I'm honestly more of a proponent of just going back to the original draft style instead of having everyone and myself deal with queue issues and the like. I enjoyed pick order, but also the ability for myself and others to communicate trades and other roles for each player to play as more often that the old queue encouraged. If I knew someone on my team couldn't support or top, I'd try to help fill in the gaps and so would other people as well. Old draft was tolerable and more enjoyable from my stand point then what we have now. The old queue you had the ability to communicate a role change through the pick order with another player. You can't argue with an algorithmic machine placing you into your role, and players today really aren't flexible in changing what they queued for. I think that is the biggest issue we have in regards to autofill, is the loss of control in queuing up for games now.

Riot should have never implemented Dynamic queue and Champion selection (and pretty much everything starting from the pre-season 6 changes, masteries etc). By giving players a taste of what it is like to select your desired role, players stopped diversifying into other roles and being flexible as a teammate. Quality of matches went down when this happened, I jumped into games and witnessed that before the season 6 changes I had teammates we'd communicate what our preferences were and work around that (especially work out on champ trades more often). Season 6 changes come, the atmosphere completely changed. Everyone gravitates more to not just one singular role, but even one champion (myself included) and now you got people that aren't working together on being flexible or open to team comps because there is no reason for them to alter their playstyle when it is encouraged by the system. People even pay less attention to lobby when this happened. * Because players got a taste of role selection they don't have to play anything else and thus are groomed to play only narrow roles of one or two positions * ^This increases queue time lengths * Because not enough people are willingly playing the support role as queue times are increased, Riot enables autofill * ^A feature that is supposed to lower queue times actually is the opposite, because players of TODAY are used to playing their narrow band of positions since it was encouraged from the get-go with the new champion select system implemented in season 6. They now dodge queue lobbies when they don't get what they want. Result, queue times go up even higher. * ^Now that players are getting autofilled and are now dodging. A portion of the player base disappears in addition to whats mentioned above to wait things out. Thus higher queue times are again increased due to missing players. * ^Queue times are increasing higher and higher as time passes. Riot sees it and implements the "Autofill one game and get a guaranteed role for two others etc etc" * ^Cause is, while some players think its okay to autofill once in and awhile, while others don't. Another portion of players disappear, while those autofilling get their role in the next game * ^While those players that autofilled are **GUARANTEED ** their roles in the next game they queue for. Matchmaking has to find someone_** NOT GUARANTEED **_ their role to fill. Thus the queue times increase even more. Perpetually worsening the cycle. * ^Some players get tired of the waiting and another cannot stand the autofill feature, they drop their queues or go play something else. The queues start to become void and increase the problem more. This doesn't include the fact that missing playerbases are spread among each type of queue. E's burn trail you fire it at only applies to whats inside it, a singular zone which is easy to walk out of. The old version of Burnout's dragon form burn trail can ACTUALLY make it dangerous to walk past her and help zone out opponents. The old version of the burn trail is better for damage then it being implemented on E as a single zone. Shyvana already has to chase targets down to kill them because of no CC, taking the burn trail from W and adding to E as a single zone is an insult because no one in there right mind is going to stand still. And that passive? Having anything tied to RNG jesus and no control over your own champion is a terrible design path. I don't even care if its OP, don't give us anything that is dependent on something we can't control over.

I haven't touched blind queue since the start of season 2 (if I remember right) when I had access to improve my ranked climbing skills in draft normals. And I'll be damned if i ever go back to that hell hole of a troll queue.

In regards to others mentioning minion wave control. Also note and respect level ups as well as items for powerspikes on you and your opponent. We're all guilty of not respecting those moments when jax is pre-6 and then gets level 6 and turns the tables on you.

If you tentacle slam the spirit (as example) and ONLY THE SPIRIT, it gets the proc applied of DFT. The damage from it thus gets transferred to "the target champion" but the champion isn't given the DFT. If you manage to hit BOTH , they both get their own separate status effects of DFT. Translation, it means more damage. I personally already tested this with another account.

Riot complained originally that old masteries were **a slew of nuanced micro-math optimizations** to favor **high-impact choices** for the player to impact their playstyle. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/na/site/2016-season-update/preseason.html Instead we get all these masteries: - with conditional uses - Cooldowns between them procing off - Spend more mastery points as skill dumps (4 max to 5 max) - Unable to fully invest into a tree with _ALL your points_ (30 max points) - Get less overall masteries - Each tree is changed to not be centric on a simple focus like before (Offense, Defense, Utility) since they are now all mish-mashed together in a clustered mess It just makes it all feel clunky, unappealing and unrewarding. There is no diversity with these mastery trees.

Your not giving Chalice the credit it deserves in its current form. Reducing the cost by 100g isn't a good argument either, because lets review what your paying for in combine cost: For both chalice's, the recipe item stats are the same ( 50% base mana regen from 2x Charms and 25 MR from 1x Null magic mantle) The only difference in a completed chalice to recipe items is the passive - Live version: 150% Mana regen if your mana is lower then your HP or 100% extra health regen if your health is lower then your mana pool with the static 50% mana regen - New version: a 1 to 1 ratio scaling ratio of health regen equal to any bonus mana regen Forbidden Idol does the same thing. You pay for combine costs for a passive with no gain in extra stats from the recipe items that it comes from. Example, Nomad's Medallion: - recipe items are: 25% mana regen {{item:1004}} (Charm) + 25% mana regen & 5% CDR {{item:3301}} (Ancient coin) = 50% mana regen & +5% CDR - Combined into Nomad: {{item:3096}} 25% Health regen + 75% Mana regen + 10% CDR. Combining them with the combine cost you gain: 25% Health regen, +25% Mana regen and an extra 5% CDR The passive for the new chalice is a blatant _**RIP OFF**_ coming from the fact for what you're paying for in terms of: - Why you want it - Stats to help you pull ahead - Delaying other meaningful items for what you could use that gold for No sane or smart person is going to rush a chalice now. Why buy an item that gives you a pitiful conditional scaling, with no stat gains to help you out in your role, including the fact it doesn't help you out _**EARLY GAME**_ which is what support need to function with access to cheap items, and also the fact there are BETTER items that better serve you. Passives on items should be in addition to the item as icing on the cake. I won't lie, the passive looks interesting. But not in replacement for what chalice of harmonys purpose is. This change only pigeonholes the item to being crowded out by other items because of how worthless it'll become for value.

I think it would be better to change the way how the formula works for jungle monsters. Make them have zero resistance, but penetration like magic pen as an example works differently on them by actually dipping into their resistance negatives like resistance reduction. All that is a code change and you can keep non-pen users working fine and anyone else that wants to use pen runes to still have it be useful. Making the monsters have MR/Armor in their resistances only means any champion not running pen has to sit their clearing the camps longer.

Your trading an item designated for mana regen on live servers that can be used early, for an item from PBE that only gives you a smidgen of it in addition to the fact that the passive is hard capped by the amount of how quickly you can scale by BUY other mana regen items which is only on 6 items. Last I check supports, don't have the gold to be splurging on getting lots of items early on. They need to be able to buy stuff cheaply and have the items work the moment they get it from the get go. I'm not saying scaling in items are bad, but for a cheap item like chalice to place this scaling passive on isn't the right way to do it. Did I mention the passive only works one way? Mana regen stats give you health regen, but health regen DOESN'T give you mana regen as compensation. It should be put on another new item concept or include both the live passive and this one together as one. This change is just a shiny bait gimmick, and guys don't concede to it please.

The timer should also continue while you're in champ select, because when someone dodges the estimated time to current waiting time doesn't update. So it is actually LONGER then normal when you factor in wait time and time wasted from someone dodging in champ select.

Your not the only one this happens to. Your mind processing stuff faster then you react is common and really it just takes more and more practice to ensure the muscle memory is there to remember to follow through with what it is you want to actually do. Keep at it and sometimes you also just need to take a break and relax for all the information processing you've been doing in games. Go take a nap and reset the body button.

yeah I agree. I do hope we go back to the old system of having a plethora of masteries to choose from and get that flexibility back. This seasons mastery trees have been disappointing and restricting for the cause of _diversity and playstyle_.

Just remember ranked isn't an organised team with people you know, it's filled with solo queuers where you cannot do your homework, where you do not know your teammates. You're describing closer to 5v5 teams, not dynamic or solo queue. Don't forget about the player base that doesn't have an organised team (or time to make a team).
