Most of the people that hate SAO are the people that didn't even watched it. I know Everyone has an opinion but please don't be like this. P.S. And About the .hack series i think it's because it's old. None will want to watch old anime with the awful graphics. And prob. SAO producers like the anime and decided to make a better version of it And for the Other people, yea i expected Garen Trynda Or Riven but mostly garen. SAO producers like the anime and decided to make a better version of it > {{sticker:sg-ahri-2}} There's just so much wrong with this comment I don't even know where to start.......... SAO does not have a good story. It's cliche as hell with poorly developed characters, a logically inconsistent plot, and awful dialogue. Reki Kawahara himself admitted in an interview several years ago that he is a terrible writer who simply knows what otaku want to see in their manga ([link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DlE3th4VE4&feature=youtu.be))). That's how SAO got so successful: because he was pandering to the lowest common denominator, not because it's actually good. This is why people meme SAO, because it's so bad that people love to hate it. Also, .hack isn't "old", it's from 2002. It may be old_er_ than some anime, but it's not even 20 years old and compared to most anime from that period it has aged fairly well. There's no doubt that .hack is a precursor to most modern isekai, but it is in no way inferior to SAO. Furthermore, the implication you're making is that all old anime are bad simply because they're old, which is objectively incorrect. This should be obvious, but there's a hell of a lot more good anime from pre-2010 than there is from 2010-onward. Just because an anime is old doesn't mean people won't want to watch it. Lastly, it's something of a misnomer to say .hack has "awful graphics". Anime doesn't have graphics the same way a video game on your computer has graphics. You should instead say ".hack has ugly character designs" or ".hack has a bad art style" or "the animation in .hack was sloppy and inconsistent" or "the backgrounds in .hack were rendered in an unappealing manner" or "the lighting and camera work in .hack are inappropriate because X Y and Z". These things are all separate criticisms btw, because they all refer to a different aspect of how the visual information is conveyed. Saying "graphics" is a lazy catch-all term that could literally apply to anything in the medium and is completely useless when discussing quality.

Happy Holidays! > {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}} The problem is tanks are being crowded out by similar classes, with there being too little distinction between tanks, juggernauts, and bruisers, primarily because juggernauts and bruisers get the best of both worlds in terms of itemization. They can build tank items like Sunfire and Spirit Visage while also building damage items like Triforce and Hydra. They fulfill the role of "tank" while also being a damage threat thanks to their flexible build path. Tanks don't have the liberty to build this way because their weak laning phase means they often fall behind in farm and get limited by their gold income. The fact that they automatically lose lane by default also makes them severely dependent on their team for backup, which is not necessarily a bad thing, since that's how tanks should be anyway. But this problem doesn't exist for brusiers or juggernauts who can always just fall back on split pushing after a bad lane. Tanks are unable to do this because they don't have the tools to duel well, and they don't have the raw damage to take towers quickly. Tanks ARE bad, but the role of tank (which can be filled by any of the aforementioned classes) is extremely valuable to a team.

: Riot is constantly streamlining this game in every fucking aspect.
Off-meta picks are troublesome because oftentimes they exemplify the aspects of a champion's identity in the worst possible way. AP Kogmaw and high range, AD LeBlanc and trade safety, tank Vayne top and uncounterable true damage, etc. These types of off-meta picks are meant to heighten and abuse what makes a given champion strong, but in a way that was never intended, in an effort to eliminate that champion's weaknesses. Champions SHOULD have meaningful weaknesses. And while off-meta picks come with their own share of special weaknesses (hence the name "off-meta"), it is extremely difficult to adapt to a strategy you've never seen before on the fly. This is why off-meta picks are successful: because people get accustomed to playing the game a certain way, and when you take them out of their comfort zone, they panic and are unable to reconcile what they know and are used to with what they are being presented with. Other times an off-meta pick will abuse certain design flaws in the champion itself. Think old AP Sion, whose only real counterplay was "don't be in Q range or you're dead", or tank Ekko, who relied on a severely overloaded kit and %HP damage to have the best of both worlds. With some cases, such as Klepto Viktor top, the pick is meant to prey on the very nature of the game itself: in this instance, the idea that "melee champions often go top lane". The key issue here is that off-meta picks rely on breaking the fundamentals of what makes the game run smoothly; they abuse human error and oversight, and this conflicts with the stable homogeneity that Riot considers one of the most important aspects of the League.
: It always feels so weird when I ask my normals junglers not to take cs after getting a kill
If I get the kill I try not to take the cs, but if the wave needs to be pushed fast, oh well. I never really get the people who complain about me taking their cs. Usually I get the people who have no idea how wave management works bitching at me for pushing a wave that's slow pushing to the enemy side. It's like "bro I'm doing you a favor, stop the ping spam". Sigh........the life of a low elo jungler.

If I really didn't like something Riot did with League, I would be more than willing to play something else. But what's the alternative to YouTube and Google? Other sites that provide similar services are so much lower in quality that it would be better not to use them at all. 2. Almost every single video has at least one ad; some have 3-4, depending on length. It's 100% because of the camera. Doesn't matter if people play locked or not, even with unlocked the UI is still in the way because fights tend to happen perpendicular to the nexus. Most people who play with unlocked use spacebar to center the camera back on their champion, and this is more detrimental for red side. Red side needs to move their camera more towards the enemy nexus than blue side does because of the UI interference, so they get slightly less visual information than blue side. Furthermore, there are many cases of diamond+ people playing with locked camera. Hell, there have even been cases of LCS players who do it. So it's not just a low-elo thing.
: Malzahar Rework Needed~
Way too much of his power budget is tied up in his passive and ult. His passive in particular has literally no good reason to exist, aside from giving him a modicum of safety while channeling his ult. IMO his ult SHOULD have the downside of being easily interruptable just because of how strong the effect is. But for some reason Riot doesn't like champions having meaningful weaknesses anymore, so they gave him an invulnerability passive to facilitate ult usage. With these two abilities being as strong as they are, his other abilities have to be kept weak, which is absolutely the wrong way to balance him. His current W is worthless for everything except waveclear. His E damage is pathetic and barely noticable, but so are all DOT abilities. His Q is marginally better, but even its damage seems weak, and that's saying something in a meta where EVERYONE has massive damage. Malz definitely needs a rework. Replace his passive with something that doesn't eat up a ton of his power budget, buff his ult damage, and make his W minions actually useful.

He can harass you with autos I guess, but unless you were dumb and let his E bounce to you, his trades are garbage because his other damage sources are unreliable. Any other mid laner destroys him as soon as his passive goes down. All he really has is his ult, which I agree is uninteractive, but it's really only a set-up tool for your team similar to a hook ability.

I don't think mains really care that much about what happens to their champion in the lore. I mean, Jhin has canonically killed off Zed and no one complained about that, and Zed mains are notorious for whining about how bad their champion is all the time. Anyway, now that I'm here I might as well post some pictures of best girl as well. https://i.redd.it/uc5xerou9rb01.jpg https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/930431869906922453/F37209E6ED223CE5C0D9961126AA8ABBB5DAB62C/ https://dthezntil550i.cloudfront.net/zs/latest/zs1808030150484930006024346/1280_960/a18d8184-2d9f-4038-9d07-1b11fc04a344.png https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/949398397450153984/Tr__oGmX.jpg

: Invisibility is fine on players so long as you give enemies the appropriate tools to handle them. Stealth heroes in DotA2 are fine; in League, they never gave you all the tools necessary to deal with it. Relying solely on a specific kind of ward to see them made them overbearing when they didn't need to be. If they had added something like Dust in addition to the wards, then stealth wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad. But they never did. They forced you to rely on stationary wards to see through invisibility, which is the actual terrible design. Now, invisibilty on _traps_, that's a different story to me. Those just suck to play against in every regard. Invis players can be worked around with the proper tools, but invis traps much more rarely give you that opportunity. Invis traps are so annoying that even the infamous Techies in DotA2 now only has one truly invisible trap, and it's the root trap that deals zero damage, and has a warning sound before it actually roots you. Especially something like Shaco boxes which practically mandate you be ranged or you need not apply.

Especially something like Shaco boxes which practically mandate you be ranged or you need not apply. To be fair, invis in DOTA 2 is fine because you're allowed to buy as many "pink wards" as you want. Each player can have 10 of them on the map at once if they choose. Not only that but in DOTA you also have a backpack to store items in until you need them, at which point they can be swapped into your main inventory. In League you're only allowed one, and pink wards don't even reveal stealth anymore. I think that's the main problem here, because that change was dumb IMO. Red trinket isn't enough to counter stealth on its own. Regarding Shaco, I believe he's more or less fine atm. People just need to stop being stupid and falling for his baits (an impossible request, but still). If bush control is a problem, just........don't walk near the lane bushes? lol There's plenty of open space to fight without requiring the bushes in some way. The level 1 fear duration is 0.5 seconds on champions, so it's a complete exaggeration that it chunks 1/4 of an ADC's HP early, unless the ADC is completely r%%%%%ed and stands there trying to kill the box instead of just walking away from it.

: If you could be any league of legends champion for day, who would you pick and why?
Zilean so I can have time magic powers and keep restarting the day so I never lose them.

: Akali vs malphite ult
Because Malphite has no other way to engage on target, unless he walks his slow bulky ass up to them and presses Q. Akali can E, Gunblade, ult once, ult a second time, flash, and get a ms boost in her W.

: Have you guys seen Wukong being played in URF much or at all?
He's not really tier 1 anymore. His Q basically doesn't exist so all he's got is E, and W for some jukes. Ult doesn't matter because you only use it for the knockup, then immediately cancel it, since burst > DPS in URF.
: Who Do You Ban Most In URF And Why?
Always Fizz. Always. If my teammate bans him first, I usually go with Zed or Jax.
: Camera bug + URF is the most annoying thing i've seen
Ha, I play with locked camera anyway. This bug has no effect on me!

: What did you do for Halloween?
I finally discovered a good use for my collection of sharp pointy objects.
: just take a second
I gotta say, Zac is the champion I least expected to see when I opened this thread. He's not strong right now at all, and hasn't been genuinely OP since season 5. What's your reasoning here?

: +135% dmg dealt -25% dmg taken
Meanwhile {{champion:69}} has -22% damage dealt for some reason. Like.........why? She's not even one of the top URF champs and she has the highest damage nerf in the game.

: Off topic from league... but it took be 8 years to finally notice this.
The power of the One Ring isn't actually to turn wearers invisible. The Ring's purpose is to amplify the characteristics of the wearer. For Hobbits, who are small, fleet of foot, and stealthy compared to larger races, it just so happens to turn them invisible. For Sauron, it increases his strength of will to dominate all other life, giving him the power to influence the hearts and minds of lesser races. Incidentally, the One Ring is never shown to be worn by any characters other than Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Bilbo, and Smeagol), Sauron (and only during the intro scene to the first movie), and, in the books, Tom Bombadil, who put it on briefly while Frodo and co. were taking refuge at his house. Bombadil is an interesting case. Since the Ring had absolutely no effect on Bombadil, this proves my initial point about the Ring's effects. Bombadil, as the embodiment of pacifistic isolationism, goes against every other theme in Tolkien's story: the hero's journey, the good worth fighting for, struggling against fate, etc. He has a total lack of interest in the lives of others, and would not intervene even in the most desperate of circumstances. He would not understand the need. Tolkien himself writes of Bombadil thusly: "But if you have, as it were taken 'a vow of poverty', renounced control, and take your delight in things for themselves without reference to yourself... the rights and wrongs of power and control might become utterly meaningless." Because Bombadil's innate characteristics are that he _lacks_ any defining characteristics, the Ring had nothing to amplify, and thus had no effect when he put it on.
