That is true, I agree that there was value in that whoever wanted to was able to have their own take in the Star Wars Universe without having to conform to the direction of the movies. But I also think that because Disney cares so much about their public appearance, the products they allow to become apart of the canon universe will be of quality. This goes the same with Riot...they could easily just pick and choose what media is canon while still allowing people to have their own creativity over the League of Legends universe which is what I hope will happen =)

The point is that if they were going for these runes rather than damaging alternatives, they might be tankier but not able to abuse it as much. That is why in the old mastery system carries didn't just opt for the most tanky masteries possible, because then they didn't have full access to the damage sections.

: The art department for in-game assets having been doing this for a long while, inspired by aesthetics from the established world-building that could be carried over into the game. Ranking and leveling badges, art for items, Hextech crafting, background art for Runes and for a lot of promotional content too. It's a visual language thing- helps players understand what they're looking at if its familiar to them. A deliberate thing simply for maintaining the recognizability of the IP.
I love how cohesive their art direction has become after many years of smoothing out a lot of clunkyness. Especially with all of their newly announced games, lets see how it carries over

I am confident that Iron is Bilgewater because of the serpentine style that it has My best guess is that Bronze is Zaun because it looks nuts&bolts gritty ironworks styled. It also has that exhaust vent at the bottom. If you changed it to a hint of green rather than the bronze color it kinda had to be then it would be more clear

Wow I never realized Aatrox is left handed I guess lol To the main topic, it is definitely do-able but I can't tell if he is supposed to be planting it down or lifting it up. If he was lifting it, then doing it at a slight angle would make a lot more sense. If he was planting it down, then the hand holding the sword would also make more sense if it was holding it on the other side for much better force since he has his arm perfectly straight out. Ya, it isn't the best way of doing things but there is technically nothing that breaks the pose.

I could see this kit literally being in the game. My favorite of your ideas was the RQ interaction where it didn't remove travel time but it removed the traveling hitbox. Tied into the interaction where you want to heal with the RQ and not hit an enemy on the way, it makes the ability much more reliable and realistic. Plus, having a skillshot heal would be toxic lol. The change from the self heal on w to passive also makes her autos more meaningful and similar to Xerath's passive which is a good idea imo. I really do think you nailed merging all of the ideas in a balanced way that wouldn't alienate all types of Karma players. About the twin dragons thing, I really believe that that is completely visual and could be worked into any kit so while I voted for that in the poll I understand that they have had cases of "reworks then VU" like Kassadin, Cassio, etc. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

I like the ideas of removing those disgusting spires and bland q and w abilities that you just spam whenever they are off cd. ...just rather not have another riven or aatrox q clone. Definitely agree with making the q have MORE impact in exchange for a HIGHER cd so its not like "I mash q whenever its up" because that's how it is designed. I would like for skarner to become the champion where he is known for moving and attacking at the same time like old eve and new urgot in a sense but not an unstoppable feeling like the new Volibear VGU
: As a Diamond 2 Karma main, I definitely agree that Karma has been in problematic state for quite some time. She’s had a lot of power given and stripped from her especially this season, but ultimately, I feel like so much more has been taken away from her than what has been given. As such, I really like the options you list here, as I think they will bring a little more back into Karma’s kit, since she is definitely not strong in this current meta at all. I personally think that giving her the damage component on her Mantra shield back would be good, as this would be a good buff to make sure Karma doesn’t fall off too hard in the late game, where she can become quite useless if not smashing her opponent. This would allow for Karma to have mantra back up a little more quickly, as well as sufficing for the shield that is given to the allies that you didn’t cast the shield on being so god awful. I also agree that implementing the dragons into her kit would be super cool, but I feel like that’s a lot of work that Riot wouldn’t be willing to undergo, as this would mean reworking her visuals. Really great post though. Definitely made me think about all the different directions Riot could go with Karma!
It is annoying because compared to other champions Karma has such a simple kit but it is also so bland. I want more skill expression so you can actually outplay rather than having better numbers. Morgana has a simple kit but is unique in zoning with her catchy abilities and cc immunity. What can we say about Karma? The most interesting thing she has is her leash. She feels slapped together for me. I think it would be great if her ult made her next ability different rather than just better

So no thanks on that front. I'd rather worry about the occasional honor(s) because that way, i know for a fact that i certainly don't deserve an honor for just being a participant in a given game. I actually have to do something that my teammate(s) may give me recognition for. And where is my incentive to honor the opponent? Explain to me for what should i honor them, given i'm playing with my own team and am essentially judging their performance only? I'm not judging my enemy's nor am i able to acknowledge good shotcalls on the other side - that's something for their teammates to do. Both teams get to honor vote for their teammates, regardless of a won or lost game. If i lose a game, i can still honor my teammates who i think did good, despite the obvious outcome. Where does "honor an opponent" come into account anywhere? As of this moment, i have no incentive to honor people i'm playing against because i can't judge them on the same criteria as i would my team. What does it mean to be an honorable opponent, except not being a dick and rubbing it in people's faces in chat, spamming emotes, mastery or ctrl + 1,2,3 or 4? Right now, people just want this for the bling, they have no real and justifiable reason to why this needs to exist. I don't chat with the opposing team, my cross chat was disabled years ago. The cross-team communication is pointless anyway. If we've stooped this low and honor opponents for not being intentional dickbags, then this recognition is a pretty pointless one that carries no weight for what it's supposed to represent.
Just like teammates you don't have to honor your opponent. I agree with what you are saying about just because someone isn't flaming you in chat doesn't make it honorable, it only seems so because games are so toxic these days. But I would like to honor those opponents who give me advice, is just hilarious, or didn't int in a situation that a lot of others would. Like others have said, I actually honor more now than I did before a gigantic screen covered my client asking me to honor someone every match.

: No because then honoring everyone would become the norm, given you're earning rewards for positive Honor level at the end of the season. Right this instance, your vote counts ONLY because you can give it to a single player, which means that if multiple people did the work, they can honor each other and split the votes that way. If everyone votes, you all get extra honor for that. If one person did the work, everyone can honor them and still all of you get the extra honor for all votes. The system right now works because your votes matter. The system before didn't work because you could honor everyone and everyone did that for the small badges alone, which gave people incentive to mass honor, without honor meaning anything in return because everyone was after the bling.
I don't think it is a big a deal as you think. They have said pre-made honors count less than random honors. The system is based more on good honor over a long period of time rather than reaching a threshold of X amount in one day to get to rank 5. If it was suddenly easier to get X times more honors than normal then just make it X times harder to rank up. It isn't that complicated with the way they claim to be able to interpret honor data. I am personally fine with the 1 honor per person but instead with 1 for enemy and ally team just because it is more straight forward and simpler. What is the point of allowing multiple votes if they just increase what it takes to rank up?

(This party failing would have disastrous consequences for the Universe itself, especially with Yorick or Ryze dying. He needs to make sure they stay alive imo.) But then I thought about who he could also meet on the isles: Kalista. That would be an interesting possibility, I wonder what would happen if he were to sacrifice himself for Senna, turning Kalista against Thresh in the process? They have history...
That could even work considering Kalista would admire Lucian's commitment

I would like the 3D edges a lot more if they were consistent... from the basic 3D perspective rules that I know all the "thickness" parts should line up with the focus point but in the new logo some letters are just totally random. Imagining this logo with the BioShock logo animation of light dramatically shifting the shadows around, it would just be horrible.

The way honor works as from what I understand is that you DONT slowly lose it even though you slowly gain it. When you are punished and lose honor, you will know it... like immediately losing levels. So yes leaving games will decrease honor but when it does it will take it much longer to regain that same amount

I think it comes from her wearing decently "normal" clothing. Those two places have a lot of clothing closest to what we wear in modern life. Personally, her weapon looks Ionian or blessed isles based on the carvings and especially since the bullet's ghostly effects from the teaser definitely came from it.

: Warwick and Ekko got decent length cinematics. Those two were above average (not on the level of Jhin, but still really good). Swain and A.Sol got short cinematics and lore dumps for their respective regions (nice for some people). Those two are about on par. TK and Ornn got pseudo cinematics, while Ornn also got a lore dump for Freljord. They were both a bit below average releases.
Ornn also got music with amazing vocals Ekko got a cool comic Kindred is one of my favorite releases. Hearing Kindred's theme for the first time was _haunting_ {{sticker:sg-jinx}}

I would say this is far from that. It isn't that different from regular Warwick, just with his human head in tact. In the description of what was done to him it was horrible modifications to his human body, not much different here. This isn't just some guy in a suit. This is more like the ICONIC Beauty and the Beast Unit from Metal Gear, which are much more horrifying. So I don't understand with you saying a mecha doom wolf is much cooler than this when it really isn't much different in concept than regular Warwick ..... he still has a wolf head and body
