: I wish players were more lenient if it's your first time on a champ in a normal game.
Did you disclose this in champ select? Yeah, it's a norm and it "doesn't matter," but it's also considerate to say something.

This is my gripe about this game in totality. There is so much information that (admittedly can be volunteered by players simply speaking up) can be communicated with little symbols and such. I mean, if we have an autofill support who isn't comfortable with the role, why wouldn't the team want to know that and play around it? For as much as Riot wants to introduce mechanics that reduce toxicity, it seems to be omitting or passing over mechanics that would truly do this.

It was removed because the Koreans used it as a badge of shame for bad players.
: Do You Enjoy Autofill?
Autofill is a bad concept, period. However, if it were to remain, it needs to be disclosed by the client to the rest of the team. Just had a game with a Nasus who might have been worse than a bot. Fine. I look at his profile, this clown is a support main through and through. Why does a team have to suffer for the inability for someone to communicate, I don't know, but tools need to be introduced to help mitigate this kind of grief.

: By Riot allowing Nightblue3 to play right now they are telling everyone what he did is ok.
What I never understand in these types of situations (this, the counter Nunu jungling thing, proxy singed, etc) is that if there are popular streamers doing this kind of thing, or at least starting the trend, why couldn't you just find 4 other people who don't care about you doing it, and do it? It just seems like going the route of forcing people who you aren't queued with into a new strategy that they didn't ask for or know how to respond to (in a ranked situation nonetheless) is creating 576 unnecessary problems and a needlessly hostile environment that compromises the fun for other players. Just seems like a really roundabout way to test the limits of the system, which in itself should be punishable.

People care, rage, and do all the other dramatics when a game is lost due to someone's CHOICE to be the biggest idiot in the room.
: I barely play anymore. The player mentality is at an all-time low, the balance is absolute garbage, trolls roam amock, and nothing hints at this changing anytime soon. Been such fast downhill after season 5.

Yeah, I just did my first game in a month, and my first SR game in maybe 2 months, and I just...yeah nah. It was cool for what it was, when it was. Some things never seem to fucking work.
: Perhaps the missions enticed people to play, who don't enjoy playing that mode? Just my first guess.

That was exactly it for me and two other people on my team. We only played this craphouse mode for the rewards and didn't even get that, so throw the whole mode away tbh.
: Sometimes players are playing so poorly that you can only assume that its intentional. Unfortunately most people don't seem to realize that you can be inting without buying mobi boots and running down a lane.

Unfortunately most people don't seem to realize that you can be inting without buying mobi boots and running down a lane. That part. Inting isn't so blatantly obvious. Like...duh
: it's not that hard to avoid being toxic enough over time (or egregiously toxic in a short amount of time) to warrant punishment. it's not riot's job to babysit and teach people how to not be assholes online. it's their right to remove people who are assholes online. most toxic behavior on league is full of things people would never dream of saying in person, without the security of anonymity. if you're that unsure of if your behavior is okay or not, ask yourself if you're behaving any worse than you would if you had to say that shit to someone's face.

Nice grandstand. Completely unrelated to the question though.
: Low elo is hilarious. I watch one team throw, the other team almost wins, then *throws harder,* and this cycles a bit between the two teams until one team throws so hard that the game is over.

I GUARANTEE somebody accidentally stole a buff or a minion on the second team and the entire dynamic went to PURE shit.
: Can new champs/reworks be locked for one week in ranked?
: HoTs or Smite to replace league ?
Smite is awesome, but they make DRASTIC changes almost every season, which is turning me off day by day, however the variety of game modes is EXCELLENT, and there are many players who don't even play their version of SR, and still manage to have fun.
: oh yeh they do, and they do it quite often the thing is: the guy played against better opponent he probably got flamed by his team from the get go he tilted he said to himself "go fuck yourselves" and didn't give a shit for the rest of the game, effectively playing at 50% or less of his capacity. Which ofc, means the better enemy will kill him over and over and over again. while i do get its a ranked game and all that, not everyone is good at this game, and not everyone is trying their best 100% that's why you get messages like: toxic people lose 20% more games, because once you are an asshole, you are making your team mates try less than 100% and this happens at all elos bronze in particular is filled with smurfs and bad players, which means, the chance of someone playing much worse than they are capable of, is very high so, lets ban all bronzies? if this guy had a streak of constantly doing this thing (dying a lot, with like no cs), then yes. Banning him for a day or three is a good idea, to help him "cool down". But if its one game or two..... might as well ban everyone in the lower divisions.
> while i do get its a ranked game and all that, not everyone is good at this game, and not everyone is trying their best 100% Then don't play ranked. Simple. Ranked is for tryhards. Casuals have a space, too.
