: Why are there so many "Riot should not focus on toxicity" threads right now??
It's just as immature to expect people to just not be mean to you, especially if that's such a pain point for you. Yes, the playerbase could stand to be nicer, but if you have such a difficulty with other people in this game like that, then you need to use all the tools given to you (muting and otherwise) to mitigate, or maybe even appraise whether multiplayer gaming is the space for you.

This is my gripe about this game in totality. There is so much information that (admittedly can be volunteered by players simply speaking up) can be communicated with little symbols and such. I mean, if we have an autofill support who isn't comfortable with the role, why wouldn't the team want to know that and play around it? For as much as Riot wants to introduce mechanics that reduce toxicity, it seems to be omitting or passing over mechanics that would truly do this.

Autofill is a bad concept, period. However, if it were to remain, it needs to be disclosed by the client to the rest of the team. Just had a game with a Nasus who might have been worse than a bot. Fine. I look at his profile, this clown is a support main through and through. Why does a team have to suffer for the inability for someone to communicate, I don't know, but tools need to be introduced to help mitigate this kind of grief.

: By Riot allowing Nightblue3 to play right now they are telling everyone what he did is ok.
What I never understand in these types of situations (this, the counter Nunu jungling thing, proxy singed, etc) is that if there are popular streamers doing this kind of thing, or at least starting the trend, why couldn't you just find 4 other people who don't care about you doing it, and do it? It just seems like going the route of forcing people who you aren't queued with into a new strategy that they didn't ask for or know how to respond to (in a ranked situation nonetheless) is creating 576 unnecessary problems and a needlessly hostile environment that compromises the fun for other players. Just seems like a really roundabout way to test the limits of the system, which in itself should be punishable.

Because that person is too poor or unable to purchase it in the same way, therefore EVERYONE should not have the ability to do so. That's all these fucking conversations ever boil down to.
: Why would someone who's complaining about how ridiculously overcosted and how much of a scam a product is then turn around and buy it? That person would be a stupid consumer if they can see how they are being lured into a trap and then walk into the trap anyway.

That person would be a stupid consumer if they can see how they are being lured into a trap and then walk into the trap anyway. I had a friend do this in Overwatch. I didn't understand it, but whatever.

I'm curious if that's your solution for every issue. Don't like kids vaping? Don't complain about it, don't buy an ecig yourself. Surely you not getting hooked in will mean no one else will, right? People *should* complain and raise awareness of malicious practices.

Using your example, making kids aware of the dangers with vaping and otherwise should happen, but at the end of the day, people have the agency of choice whether they want to buy or participate in certain things or not. Sure, it may read as crappy, but tying the words "predatory" and "malicious" to it is not only histrionic, but just plain untrue.
: THEN DON'T BUY THEM. God, people love acting like Riot is forcing them to get these skins.

Yeah, I always laugh at these kinds of threads, because it's just bitching to bitch. No one's being scammed, conned, or otherwise, and if it's predatory on people who have spending problems, then that's not Riot's job to fix, so much as a therapist or otherwise. You don't have to buy the damn skin, and you aren't being conned, as the skin isn't a compulsory element to play this game. In my honest opinion, arguments like this (and...the rest of society as a whole, but I don't want to pivot the discussion that way) reek moreso of anger to not have the means to participate than what's actually taking place, and I find that very interesting.

Don't let other players control you. Why is this so heavily downvoted? It's all true.
: ok... im starting to have doubts on how inters are detected now.
It's great to know that the flaming cesspool that this game was when I left it, has only multiplied in mass.
