i'm not only defending against magic dealers. i'm also going after vaynes kogmaws teemos jax kayle udyr etc. the rageblade change might of been a nerf but it also created a completely new weapon that is super hybrid oriented. yet hybrid defense items don't offer what I'm looking for {item:3193}} {{item:3512}}. I do not like having to plan my build ahead that much, what I'm looking for should be more readily available in a preferred format. this is one of the main reason we've seen building damage outshine building defensively in league. especially when the game takes so long to get items many games end with only 3 completed items if that.

If anything, almost every heavy hitting item has been nerfed in terms of raw AP/AD in favor of CDR. Just look at Yommus. 70 AD and 20 flat armour pen and atk speed boost for 55 AD, 18 lethality (realisticallly you don’t get past 13 arm pen). Same goes for not having DFG, flat AP values on most items lowered. Let’s not even mention ADC items which have been nerfed into the ground. Even LW/Black Cleaver are no stronger than in season 3/5 (gold years btw). I guess void staff and deathcap have been objectively power crept (to compensate for lower AP vals - but according to Boards AP is weak btw so I guess that doesn’t matter). Even for champ kits, discounting reworks and new champions, most champions in plain numbers are weaker than before. Riot has ALWAYS favored nerfing champions over buffing weak ones. In fact, in terms of raw power Leblanc is a fuckton weaker than 2015 Leblanc while still being S+ tier now. You wanna know why? Because everything keeps getting nerfed to the point that she’s still OP. Same for Lucian. Completely butchered compared to 2016 Lucian but still OP bexause of how hard other ADCs were nerfed. Name me one champion that has a 55% win rate and I’ll name you 5 < 45%. Someone actually disprove me on this. Show me that Riot actually buffs things more than they nerf looking at patches from this whole season. Fact: you can’t, because it isn’t true. They always nerf more. The only damage creep rn is worse defensive runes, more damage runes, and more specifically conquered, dark harvest and ignite being over tuned. Tank items are also worse. _<Removed by Moderation>_ Or how about “gold creep”. That’s also a real thing. More gold in the game let’s damage outscale defense faster than before. Dragons buffs , mastery and kit changes all account for shorter ttk And lethality is strong and should cost more. Lifesteal was more viable before too. Agreed the forum format could use improvement and the gameplay+ approvals are arbitrary in my experience.

because I like to choose on what to spend the rewards I got from the conquest I won out on the battle field. randoml rewards might not play into my build as much. I mostly want more games where I can try out different builds more often mobas are as much about the items and actually completing builds and when they took away gold from drake it became less so. Or you could just not miss Q, and then CDR becomes irrelevant. You're basically trying to itemize your weakness with the character so you don't have to get better with her. I suggest going on youtube and watching some of the top tier players for her. She isn't at all an easy champ to master, but she is a very strong champ once you do. The slow and CC is also irrelvant on her, because a good irelia player will be killing you in 3 seconds, there is no need for CC. There are also over 20 champions who would do the job better, so it makes no sense to run irelia this way.

well cdr isn't exactly bad on her. I guess its a question of ttk if she has time to pull off 2 Ws, it could come in handy. I find last hitting back line and some semi low front line minions sufficient to reset q, and if you miss its back up in no time. it is a bit more rough in the early game though.

Any other ideas on how to make more games end with 4 Items? Maybe first 9k gold spend have 20% more value in shop (so pay 80% of full cost) then item costs are increased for next 9K gold to 120%? A sort of built in Dynamic inflation maybe as you exit shop it can add gold or withdraw some like it does with the debt rune

actually it wouldn't be so bad if {{item:3095}} wasn't just made for like {{champion:202}} where he has a low AA rate. the version that scaled with AS at least made some sense. You can't sustain enough with {{item:3087}}{{item:1038}} {{item:3035}} {{item:1053}} < should be just as viable as BORTK depending on ADC. if he built that he should outright win because he's setback against enemy carries, yet building those items vs a tank would still be mediocre. : Their whole point is to be offensive/defensive split items though. That's literally *why they exist*. Both gives less offense than dedicated offensive items, and less defense than dedicated defense items, and are designed to make characters durable damage threats.
ya except the passive being so strong makes up for this. 20 cdr is not to be unnoticed. the risk of being glass cannon means your margin of error is smaller. but then as far as pro level play goes, these margins of error play less and less of a factor to none at all. you also have to consider your carry will get more love from supports too so its kind of a wash here. end of the day yes have less scaling if you are less burstible but it should be subtle. thing is fighters are still very burstible in the current high ttk meta, and yet they are often tasked to initiate which make this quite tough.

i think the range visuals can be tough to tell, ill say that much. especially when there is no diminishing returns then it should be really clear where it ends. Example {{champion:105}} damage you see the exact range at the start but when the shark jumps where the circumference ends is no longer visible. I guess this is something I could get used to, however I wouldn't mind it if outter edge had diminishing returns but it doesn't, so being slightly off when your trying to make a play sucks.

Shield strength is measured by the Damage dealt to champions that was mitigated by armor, absorbing up to 300 damage. 10 second cooldown (500 Range) then you take this {{item:3814}} and remove the lethality because there will be enough lethality items give it 60 AD ~300 hp and 5%cdr and 50% mana regen also builds from the {{item:1037}} {{item:1004}} combo mentioned above and {{item:3052}}
