: I'm a hardstuck Silver and others will no doubt have better insight, but I've spend the last 3 months tuning my play style in Norms and have been focusing on my own game and not on my teammates whatsoever with much better results, and am currently climbing even despite a negative winrate and net loss in LP gains, I am winning again. Some basic things I did; -Mute All/ from the start. There is absolutely zero input your team will have that is useful unless it's a ping. -Do not communicate in any other way but pings -Disable enemy chat, their input does not matter and does not exist -Disable in game announcer. When you get feeding teammates, it just makes me tilt hearing "AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAIN" over and over. My mental state has nothing but improved since disabling that horrible and constant reminder that I'm winning/losing. I don't even look at scores other than my own. Some more advanced thins I have done; -ACTUAL LEE practiced cs'ing in custom games. I can reliably hit 87 cs by 10 min currently against an easy adc bot and moderate enemy support. -Look at the mini map at ALL TIMES unless there is an enemy in front of me. Watch when a lane is missing, watch where junglers last were seen. If there's 3 top, I can pretty much go ham in bot lane and not worry about being ganked, etc. -Ward everything, even when I'm not support. WARD. CONSTANTLY. If ahead? Enemy jungle, if even game, River, If losing, Own jungle. -Build according to how I'm doing. If I'm winning lane, damage, if I'm losing, even as adc, I get some form of tank or sustain with lifesteal or Doran's shield. As Ezreal I can afford to go Iceborne and Hexdrinker with Tabi/merc and still do damage and LIVE. -Never go in if your team isn't right next to you (see mini map and looking only at it).

I do this more often then I'd like to admit; I'll run behind the enemy mid and try to all in to see that my mid is still sitting under turret at 75% health after I pinged 3 times; my largest issue is watching my mental struggle and feeling powerless to do anything about it; I can ward the enemy jg and secure vision as much as I want, but if my team wants to blindly facecheck the enemy botside jg and die, theres nothing I can do to stop it.
: That one game is unwinnable, but if you can't climb out with support it's your own fault. Might be playing too passive or too aggressive. Might not be making correct macro calls or placing wards where the macro should be happening. Could be getting caught out when it could be avoided. It's generally a combination of mistakes. Recently, I have personally climbed out of Bronze and Silver playing exclusively support.
My minor positioning mistakes (I do this more often then I'd like to admit) and the occasional geedy vision placement (maybe once every 3 or 4 games I'll do this) is NOTHING compared to the ignorance of the players in Silver. I can secure baron vision and tell them what to do as much as a please, but if they want to sit in a lane and afk farm until 40 minutes theres nothing I can do to stop them - and thats my problem

: got to learn how to close out games. warding the shit out of drag and rift/baron should give everyone the hint to take the god damn objectives. but hey at least your not the teams personal slave the jungler, where everyone feeds then wanders why you wont gank a 6/0 akali.
I try but people refuse to listen, they'd rather sit mid lane and wait for something to happen
: What are your top three supports??
Karma and Nami are the only 2 I take super seriously, but if I had to pick a 3rd I'd say Neeko
: So I don't think you'll find success unless you play something like Lux, Brand, Vel or Zyra in low elo. Pyke needs some setup to use his ult sometimes so it's less consistent Ultimately if you play something that facilitates damage, you rely on a team mate to do the right things in a given situation, there's a coinflip there in low elo If you play something with it's own set up and damage, that input in a fight is entirely on you, it's not a coinflip because your input has a direct result on the outcome of the game I also think they're better in lane and skirmishes because people don't really know cooldowns or attack move so you get frostfang procs quite easily. Everyone knows Ali combo is like 10sec, what's the cd on Brand Q?
Early? About 9 seconds? Later I'd guess like 5. My issue when I play damaging supports, my vision score and macro suffer (that's my fault, and with time I'll get better at it) I tend to play worse when I play champs like Brand or Vieg and feed more often, but that's on me as a player and something I guess I need to improve with if I want to get out of low elo. Thank you

: As already said just pick {{champion:63}} and it is very easy to climb. I used to be hardstuck, till otped {{champion:63}}. As for shotcalls, it depends how you do it, my shotcalls were followed 80% of the time. Shotcalls shouldn't be like: "just farm up", "we scale"," please group", or even worse "stop feeding X champion and we win". These calls are so common, that nobody gives a fck about it, because many people just use thsese without understanding game situation and having plan in their mind. **Shotcalls should be very short, intensive, simple and *moment based* and you should use pings almost every time** and the whole game, and if possible avoid *buddy-talk* (toxicity of course must not be in place at all). This will bring more value in your words, as people know you can be trusted. The only thing that can break it is obviously bad calls, **you lose trust with bad calls**. 2-3 is enough not to listen to you for the rest of the game, so know what you shotcalling. *moment based*-- it is right here, right now, eg intensive pinging on baron (direction or assisstance ping) , on dragon, on lane, "5 mid" follwing with intensive pinging. *buddy talk* -- any chatting, gj/u2 is fine but limit to this
I try to make objective calls, or to tell people to slow push x wave so we can group at y location, or while in lane to not push the wave when we can freeze, yet id say 9/10 they go unanswered. In my personal experience, people just wont listen. I personally feel my understanding of the game is deep. I can track the enemy JG, I secure deep vision and be sure to ping for my team when the enemy jg pops up. It just feels that no matter what I do, I just have 0 impact on my games. I do appreciate the help tho, and from the consensus on this post, I am definitely just going to start playing Brand

I just hate taking her in solo q. While playing Karma I can at least build spell pen and damage so I can at least try to accomplish something. As Nami she just doesnt do damage, so I need to put faith in my teamates to make smart plays since I cant do damage on my own. Plus roaming and getting picks mid is way easier to do with Karma (just talking about solo q right now, when doing a duo I can at least trust one person and feel comfortable going Nami). Yeah tbh don't play an enchanter in solo Q, go for a mage like {{champion:63}} or {{champion:99}}
Do you honestly think it would be just better to give up my morals and just buy {{champion:28}} till I climb back to plat? I havent jungled a day in my life before, but since I track the enemy jg and secure vision anyway, it cant be that bad right?

: Get someone who's good to play with you SoloQ as support sucks
If at all possible I want to try to climb on my own, any tips at all are appreciated. And yes, I agree, it sucks very very much.
: If you're a support main, it means you're probably good at macro decisions (not satyrical huh), try either playing a solo-carry jungler instead like {{champion:11}} or play a mage bot instead of an enchanter (also looking at your match history quickly, I notice that you mostly play Karma, she's trash atm and if you want to stick to an enchanter, go for {{champion:267}} )
I do play a lot of Nami, I used to one-trick her. I just hate taking her in solo q. While playing Karma I can at least build spell pen and damage so I can at least try to accomplish something.
