: Hmmm... I think rather than having a passive to enforce tankiness, look at a passive to Encourage tankiness. Percent health shield, armor and MR ratios. Think Galio or poppy. They COULD go ad, but it’s not what their balanced around and it isn’t very good. They thrive off of tankiness instead. I’m guessing this is based off of a reverse Pyke passive? The reason Pyke has that passive is he is designed with an execute. A supper tanky Champion that can stun, execute, and recover is a broken kit. To limit this, they made it so it’s impossible, since otherwise the concept of a support assassin would fall flat. I love you Q ability. It has a very good vibe for a tank. Being able to warp them back might be a bit overpowered since you can warp forward, Q at point blank range, then drag them back. That’s almost like Skarner Ult with teleportation. Perhaps a better version is that with a mini Elkins Ult. No teleport forward, but you can warp back to where you were 2 seconds ago, dragging someon with you. Would then combo with the dash you have have on your third ability, except then you can buff the dash with some extra power. Here’s how I envision a play like this going: your looking for the engage, and you have your opening, you dash forward and activate your Ult. While their knocked up, you reposition and land your Q, rooting and marking 1-2 targets, then warp back th one you want your team to burst down. Or you take them back over whatever wall you came over, leaving them there, before dashing back over the same wall to help your team.
I suppose that would be a better passive but the whole point of why i did like that was because of those few cancerous people that would still go full lethality/ damage. The reason I made the passive this way was to balance out the high mobility. AS for the Q I apparently didn't put that it can only mark one champ mostly because there would be too many gnar/nunu multi-kill play that would be cancerous to the game also. The w is suppose to have a slight delay for some out play cause otherwise it would be to overpowered so i agree with that. as for the play style that's pretty much spot on. He is kind of along the line of what ivern would be in the sense that he is for sure not a solo fighter but at the same time he doesn't die easily. He's meant to be a bruam/ ivern/ blitz/ pyke mix. Its just meant to fill a hole the league champ pool has yet to see which is a high mobility, super tanky, low damage, pick champ. The more and more i look at this champ, the more and more i feel like its a demon like concept even though that was never my intention. but anyways thanks for the feedback it really did help me think about alot of stuff i never considered and will adjust accordingly as i refine out the concept.

The only question I have is toward the juggernaut post. Isn't that suppose to be the whole purpose of the juggernaut class? Aren't they suppose to be tanky as well as deal damage? What you are arguing right feels like you just want them to be tanks or fighters. Essentially erasing the class. At least that's what it feels like you are saying.

: We know that Icathia used the void to fight shurima,so the icathian empire definetly had access to void portals. In Rek'sais release story you can even see a picture that seems to depict her fighting a human renekton(not to mention that Sol fought void horrors on targon around the time where Shurima built the sun disc) So yeah they already had void portals back then. And overall I'm not saying that the original void-portal-opener can't be alive anymore,just that there is no way its kassadins daughter.
I know that she wasn't the creator of the original. Plus like i said its just a concept so there would be a little bit more of the lore into malz, kas, and skarner. My only other question is targon considered close to the shurima desert?

: I have this theory that the Void isn't really a *place*, but a *being*. Like how in Greek mythology, Tartarus is both a place in the underworld and some kind'a primordial being and stuff. Anyway, my theory says that the Void is trans-dimensional being, like Bard, and at one point it started… Spawning creatures out of itself. Or maybe creatures came to it, like meeps. Okay, so this ultra-powerful spirit began opening portals to other dimensions, then throwing void creatures through them. Why? Well, why does Bard protect the universe so completely? It may just be his nature to be a caretaker, and it may just be the Void's nature to conquer and destroy. Btw, I don't believe that the Void controls them psychically, or even has a hive mind, I believe that the Void can simply direct its creatures, which then follow their instincts, which most of the time is to destroy.
That would be a pretty dope idea as well

Which in turn mean that there had to be hundreds of years between Kassadin finding Icathia and the first void portal opening.
at what time does it describe that the portal was found? plus even if the portal was during the icathia time period for all we know the portal could have been closed and reopened. when kassidin stumbles upon it, it never states who opened it along with how it was still open. that's the loop hole that is still missing. whoever opened such a portal had to have great power to open up an entire other dimension along with create a power strong enough to keep it open even after death unless the original person who opened is still alive. think about how malzahars voidlings work he opens the portal then it closes. so if its been there all these years what keeps it open

I don't see any reason that the powers from the portal not making someone immortal along with the fact that some of the champs exist in some ungodly long lives. along with the fact that yes to the discovers of the portal, it can seem as though it was created eons ago but with a portal how do you truly tell a timeline? It would be like trying to tell the age of air. Plus with only about half the character are we truly told what time period they exist. So yes there is the possibility that it was long before their existence but could easily have been a few years before anyone had found it. Then there is the possibility that yes it may not have been the very first but hit was the first that people were seeing and living to tell the tale along with it would have had to been more stable in order for people to not to be destroyed by it and then there is also the fact that portals open and close all the time. Open your mind a bit get creative. It;s simply an idea

: Patch Chat with the Playtest Team: 6.17, the Pre-Worlds Patch
Being an adc I'm loving the buff right now (especially Jinx and Ezreal), but i was wondering if you can answer these two questions for me: 1. I know this is further down the road, but keeping the assassin reworks in mind (or whatever you wish to call them), do you think with the state of the ad carries right now. Will they face a lot of damage reduction due to the soon to be assassin burst speed being a lot more drawn out. So even though there is room for out play, the ad carries still have a high possibility of dying due to the lack of damage? 2. Finally, will we be seeing in any way, shape, or form, a reduction of health on ap items. I understand you don't want every mage to be super squishy but when you have champs like syndra, karthus (even though he isn't seen much anymore), gragas, malzahar, and etc. The champs that can deal a tremendous amount of damage and never even come close to death even if you destroy them early on in the game. (I've had a lot of games against really tanky syndras that pretty much one shot as an adc even with magic resist.) Sincerely, An adc main{{champion:222}}
