: Kayn and Rhaast should pull a We Are Venom
To me, the Kayn and Rhaast story reads like a classic "Don't touch the corrupted weapon" story. The hero thinks they have control, but ultimately, his hubris leads to him failing because you don't mess with these things. I honestly expect it to go something like Death Note, where Kayn thinks he's winning, until Rhaast just takes over when he's tired of it all.

None of them are too pressing a threat the way Ionia, Demacia, or another major power would be. Ionia is waaaaaaaay more divided rn than Shurima or Freljord are (and Id say overall they are also way weaker. I can go in depth to explain why and why they managed to push Noxus back still) About Shurima, that's....not really the case. After the fall of Shurima and the Darkin wars, the population became divided into city-states that survived or have been built, nomadic tribes, mercenary groups, raiders, traders etc. Until recently, when Azir came back (which was about 7 years ago according to some calculations made by a very lore-knowledgable guy on the Lore of League Discord server, if you want I can send the invite link). Bloodline and Taliah's color story was around 5 years ago, and at that point a shit ton of people in Shurima were already joining Azir or about to do it (like, the vast majority of Shurima is pro-Azir by the looks of it. Only Nerimazeth is against him rn as far as we know because Xerath rules it) so no I wont say they are divided or incapable to put up a fight (not to mention there were instances of tribes that were enemies with each other allying among themselves to resist Noxian expansion even before Azir came back, and now they are unifying en-masse as you can see with what was happening in Vekaura before Xerath nuked the shit out of it). Freljord, while divided in 3 main parts, is still Soviet Russia meme. Super hard to invade due to bad terrain, every people there are warriors, not to mention the Iceborns which are Ice magical-attuned superhumans, and each of the 3 sides of the conflict there has massive armies too And then comes the War on many fronts arguments. While Noxus right now is the most powerfull modern nation on Runeterra, they can't afford to put ALL their resources into 1 single campaign
I don't quite recall all the lore, but the issue in Shurima is that IIRC, most of the areas IIRC were mentioned to be willing vassals of Noxus for the trade and protection benefits, presumably in the interrim between the fall of Shurima and Azir's return. Frelijord, there's a point to the soviet russia meme, but is undergoing a serious civil war, and from the Udyr lore, it seems like is mostly three major factions and quite a few minor tribes. While the Winter's Claw seem to be fighting, they're also fighting on two other fronts.

Sure, there are border tension in Ionia and towards the Freljord, while preparations for an invasion of Piltover and Zaun are being made, but Noxus hasn't been involved in any major conflict since Swain's coup. Its known from Swain's color story that they keep expanding in the kingdoms from Middle Valoran, from Darius's that they are trying to expand in Freljord too, and that they also try to expand in Northern Shurima from several sources (and in a few Nortehrn Shurima cities that are under Noxian control theres a rebellion grewing)
Except from the looks of it, most of those aren't really _nations_ that could realistically fight back if they wanted to. Shurima IIRC, is mostly protected trade cities that wanted a new empire to follow after the old Shuriman one went kaput, the Frelijord is too divided atm, and the Middle Valoran area is just this big void of nothing with presumably minor kingdoms and city-states that can either be conquered or simply bought out. : And he still doesn't, really. Aatrox needed a damaging Ultimate or an AoE buff like Sivir's. The biggest problem his kit had is the ultimate being a giant steroid. Sure it did damage and I think healed Aatrox for casting it near enemy champions, but it was barely two autos worth of damage and had little impact, so much of Aatrox's budget was invested in his Blood Price 3rd hits instead. Tweaking Dark Flight to be more reliable and improving his E casts to be more meaningful, and then changing his ult to something like an on-demand Baron Buff or just Infernal Chains would've rounded the champion much better than completely overhauling him. Don't forget that originally, Aatrox was going to be a pure gameplay update. Visually and lore wise, the old Aatrox was completely fine and fit modern League standards but they changed him so much they needed a new rig for all of the animations. Which, if you ask me was the first sign someone should've put a red flag on that they were going the wrong direction with the VGU. And for all their effort, what did they get? He still has a useless steroid Ultimate, he still doesn't meet the Living War God fantasy, he still has a clunky and awkward mobility spell. But I guess that's okay because now he's a constant presence in pro no matter how bad they make him because having multiple AoE knockups hitting gigantic unnecessary damage is valuable in a team fight. It was never about the revive. Not old Aatrox really used it, new Aatrox never really used it. All it ever did was buy time in losing fights, but it never won a fight for him. Maybe he'll disappear once players get used to not having to pick him for the first time in 2 years. If not, Riot should've just updated the original and put this new kit on Riven
New Aatrox used the heck out of it in pro play as an escape/get out of jail card. His overall visual design remained largely the same. He's still the same big red dude, with a big red sword, same head. Given what they did with Varus and Rhaast, the whole concept of the Darkin had been re-imagined to be weapons possessing their wielder, so that much was a given. Compare him to say, Warwick. Warwick's entire base design was revamped. He had a whole hextech theme attached to him. Aatrox is effectively the same model, just facelifted.

To be completely honest, part of this probably has to do with the fact that Pantheon had a working gameplay loop, while Aatrox... didn't.

: Ok I see ur last two posts and I raise u these ideas; giant flamethrower/torch and putting a lid on the pot 2 make it a pressure cooker. Also I'd suggest switching Taunt with Charm, its less messy.
Flamethrower? Hrmm. That's an interesting angle. I'll have to think more on that.
: Idk keep thinking about it, I think u need 2 decide on a theme, imo that might be a bit too cheery/cheesy/silly for the theme/ feel/personality u have developed
Essentially, yes. That's part of his design. The whole concept of this cooking and food based Champion is inherently silly. There's this Bathos to it, where the dour seriousness of Noxus, and Vormigaunt's typically straight-laced personality is contrasted with the ridiculousness of his kit. I gave up on making his kit primarily serious when I went past 3 iterations without being able to meaningfully integrate the cook components with everything else In his first iteration, he had a "throw food" ability that was the basis for the whole Well Fed/Delicious thing, and literally everything else was a generic big tanky guy kit with a dashing stun-on-collision and a radial knockback that shields him. Iteration 2 ended up having "Throw Pot/change pot distance" "Spin pot" and "Tanking/Sustain" with the healing and delicious on the pot. Which basically made him Fat Support {{champion:61}}. Iteration 3 dropped the single, important pot for throwing out multiple pots, which made them into something you just threw on CD to cover everything with movespeed buffs. So I went with the more openly ridiculous aspects of having him splash stew on people with his moves, gave him a move that integrated his pot into his "Max this first" skill. Using enemies to apply the speed buff makes it more interactive and follows the Noxian theme of aggression and closing with the enemy. Having a reel in gives him a bit of fancy repositioning gameplay, although it still suffers from making the healing more difficult to access. Cannibal's spice honestly came around more from me trawling other MOBAs for ideas (Heck, the whole Iron Chef thing? That was inspired by Hercules from Smite, with a few elements mixed around). I happened across Dota 2's Winter Wyvern, who had a ultimate that taunted enemies onto another enemy. I toned it down by not stunning the target, and made it a skillshot. His overall theme, to be honest, is "[The Iron Chef](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChefOfIron)". He's a big burly army chef that smacks people around while also cooking. It's not that deep, but it doesn't really have to be. I just had to accept that I can't make him a total serious badass. (Fun fact: his original ultimate concept was to throw someone into the pot and cook them, but that was tossed because that was literally Tahm Kench).
: Here's another idea: R - Flambe Whips out his cooking Alcohol and drizzles it in front of him for the next 5 sec. If he drizzles it on a champion that is damaged or his Pot it Enflames for 5 sec dealing DoT to nearby enemies, and reducing dmg Enflamed Champions deal.
Just doesn't have the "oomph". Enchanter ults typically have some huge dramatic, openly visible effect to make them more attractive as Champions. An aoe exhaust is damn powerful, but you want something like Nami's giant Tidal Wave or Taric's aoe godmode. "True' Supports like that have generally "low-hype" gameplay loops, so there has to be something fancy somewhere.
: Instant upvote due 2 the title and I love cooking, now time 2 chop the kit 2 little pieces and perfect it! Right off the bat I'd suggesting switching mana regen with something like Tenacity. Some champions are Mana-intoletant Questions for the chef: What's the cook time on the passive buff and debuff? Is there a recommended max serving size per unit of time for allies? (Wouldn't want them 2 over eat right?) For E u probably want a normal fear/flee CC. The FDA (Riot) outlawed the "uncontrollable random movement" of the old fear/flee bc it had unpredictable flavour compound; it could lead to ruining ur own or an allies combo, stuff like that, not very tasty. I got an ult idea R- This'll put a fire in ur belly Chef prepares a special soup, for the next 8 seconds Well Fed allies spout flames dealing DoT and reduce the damage they take in the direction they are facing. After 2 seconds all Well fed allies are Granted Tenderizser.
Say, since you've been helping me so much how's this for an ultimate. "Cannibal's Spice" Vormigaunt throws a satchel of spices forwards, which strikes the first enemy champion it hits, dealing light damage, and rendering them _Irresistable._ Irresistable grants a Super-Delicious effect, speeding up allies that run towards it. Enemies within a certain radius of the Irresistable Champion are taunted towards them, gaining AP-on-hit and a fixed minimum attack speed buff (Low enough that any auto-attack focused champion doesn't get any benefit). Potentially buffs allies that hit it as well, but I'm not too certain of that.
: Ah I see that makes sense the goal is out of combat recuperation. Well Idk how I feel about it still; no other support has mana regen buffing, no thoughts for out of combat MS, or something like that?
To be honest out of combat MS is a bit too easy to "game". If you don't recieve or deal damage for 5s, you're counted as "Out of combat". For regen this is fine, but for a movement buff major enough to be meaningful, it becomes rather worrisome since it typically does boost your chasing power.
: then what would u switch it to if not Tenacity, bc if this guy was in the game id love to take him bot lane with Morde, but would lose out on his effectiveness since the MR is wasted, honestly unless u were trying sell this guy as a support dedicated to helping Mages, then I don't see the point in going for Mregen, since most gud champions that are NOT marksmen aren't running out of mana as much as mages, especially Marksmen (even tho i love encouraging diversity in the bot lane, Marksmen are still a staple there)
Tennacity is actually useful in a fight. The goal of it giving mana and hp regen, is to give you passive, out of combat, regeneration. If you've no need for mana, then you don't need additional regen to top you off between skirmishes or after fights.

So far the plan is that he's from the western steppes around Noxus, which were plagued by endless bandit raids, which the Noxian occupation stopped. Which is what inspired him to join the Legions. His people's love of good food and his skill at making a good stew from just about anything got him the position of Quartermaster in a Legion, which was savaged in Ionia by the shadow order before being saved by Darius and his Trifarian Legion. Had a WIP short story about him being "captured" by a pair of Ninja bastards, brought back to their camp to be their slave/cook at which point they all die horribly and he saves their other prisoners.

: What's a Qiyana?
WHY is Qiyana?
: It's a matter of true damage vs those that can be mitigated. Urgot is 9999 true damage, just based on them reaching that % health marker. Pyke and Cho are both true, so it's a flat amount no matter if the other player gets armor/MR. Veigar being totally magic damage means the point that would kill them can fluctuate a lot based on if they get extra MR. garen is a little more iffy since it can be true-but only to one specific character (while the other 3 examples it doesn't matter who you hit, X life is the cutoff point regardless). I think they don't bother with it on darius since it's so dependent on bleed stacks, so it might say "guaranteed kill!" then the stacks drop off right before your attack lands so it doesn't kill
Then why the heck does {{champion:238}} have one?

I feel like Zac's current R fits a bit of a thematic that should be explored in a slime ball like him. Namely engulfing your enemies. Mechanically, it'd be difficult to differentiate it from say, Tahm, but there should definitely be some kind of way to engulf an enemy into yourself as Zac.

We need an entire 5-player lineup of Slam Champs. {{champion:122}} Center (Self-explanatory. The biggest man on the court. Uses his height and strength to dunk on people.) {{champion:420}} Power Forward (Second biggest man on the court.) {{champion:254}} Small forward (Role mixes speed and strength, emphasos on versatility, unexpected dunks) {{champion:134}} Shooting Guard (Role is to throw long shots at the hoop) {{champion:11}} Point Guard (Largely there because of his old meme, role is to be fast and get the ball past people)

: Mordekaiser Rework Concept
Malicious Mental Senpai notice me!
: Bruiser players - What are your thoughts on Spear of Shojin & Atma's Impaler?
{{item:3005}}'s is tempting, but the shield from {{item:3053}} and the CDR from either {{item:3078}} or {{item:3071}} is too important IMHO, to pass up. I take it as a 6th/situational item in games where I feel the raw AD is the most important thing to get my hands on.
: Someone said it not jhin fault this passive work well with runes and items
Because Jhin is an ADC and therefore too important to be nerfed.
