It was on Howling Abyss. There is barely any reason on ARAMs to ping at all normally, much less ping someone as they are walking back to the rest of the team. Or ping in the middle of a team fight after you die----why are they spam-pinging your dead body with question marks in the middle of fighting, or at all, as if you're supposed to do something about being dead? They are doing it ONLY to be assholes. (Then, when you ask them politely to stop, they start making up all these excuses as to why they're pinging as if there's any other reason behind it. And then start explaining how you're a shit player and that's why you deserve to be pinged out of your mind.) There is no reason to allow these players to continue to be able to ping the shit out of their chosen target that game, and I should not have to mute my entire team's pings due to the actions of a select few individuals. i mean, if we're talking ARAM here, my entire argument is even more so valid (removing only focusing else wear), its and even better argument to muting pings, muting the player, and playing the game, you cant back to heal, you cant change how low//high your health is, you cannot effectively do anything except die or sit back and poke - ARAM is specifically about team fighting - regardless of the persons reasons, muting pings and watching the fight, thats exactly what ARAM is about lol when your dead, open the shop and you wont see any of the pings :D (and you can even enlarge the shop via the bottom right corner, making the minimap itself, not visible...) - Like you said "There is barely any reason on ARAMs to ping at all normally" so why would you need to see your other teammates pings at all honestly? the word "need" implies necessity, there really isnt necessity on ARAM...

Because sometimes it IS helpful. And my argument doesn't make this any less relevant for Summoner's Rift.

Relevance TBD; simple no would of sufficed... thank you for that btw, regardless of why you think i'm asking a legitimate question; i asked for a reason - because those images coming up on your screen (though having the ability to see them) should hold no weight to the outcome of the game (other then, like one said before, that one person contributing less) - Removing the ping sound, and paying more attention else wear will net you the reward you want - problem solved.

First of all, your question is not intended for relevant discussion; it is an attempt to start a tangential argument that is irrelevant to the discussion. First of all, your question is not intended for relevant discussion; it is an attempt to start a tangential argument that is irrelevant to the discussion. Second of all, even if I was only looking at my character for 10% of the time, then that 10% of the time would be filled 100% with---as I said---incessant, constant, never-ending pinging on top of my character. : Esc -> Settings -> Sounds -> Scroll down to the bottom, click the mute button next to the ping -> hearing the ping is gone, ignore the players ??????????? and move on. Reset it before the game ends or it will be the same in the next game...
But what if I need to hear the pings of the players who aren't trolling?

I like the look, sound, and animations (as well as GP's VO on the ARAM map). However, the right side of the screen is WAY too overloaded. There's nothing on the left anymore. And putting the item list in the center next to all the skills just makes it even harder to see your items at a glance (they're no longer isolated at the bottom left corner). With your items next to all your skills, you have to take a moment to scan and filter the information for your skills from the information for your items. It just feels unbalanced overall. There needs to be some information moved back to the left side.
