Subdue (NA)
: 1. KDA based rewards encourages KDA padding and creates incentives for suboptimal play. A 1/4/10 tank should die every time if it means a 10/1/2 carry with a large bounty survives, but rewards based on KDA creates incentive for the tank to avoid death. There is only one action in the game that is the correct decision 100% of the time and that is to kill the enemy Nexus. Everything else is nuanced and may or may not be the correct decision given the current situation of the game. 2. Leavers are a relatively infrequent occurrence, and assuming you're not the leaver, the leaver is more likely to be on the enemy's team than yours. Furthermore, reducing LP losses when there is a leaver encourages players to harass a teammate that's doing poorly so that they'll leave and reduce the LP loss. 3. Agreed, we need a real Solo Queue. Duo queues already have Flex. 4. Matchmaking is fine. Any given game someone will do well and someone will do poorly. It's a zero sum game, meaning no one can do well unless one or more people on the other side are doing equally poorly. Seeing someone doing poorly in a single game doesn't mean you're objectively much better than them, just as seeing them do well doesn't mean they're objectively better than you. It simply means that in the context of that one specific game, they're performing better or worse.

: If you were spending your energy improving your own game, rather than theory crafting why the system should be changed to something abusable, that wouldn't work, that people have brought up hundreds of times over the years. You'd be so good you could carry these players that are feeding.

Have you ever carried a ranked game where your team did bad with sona, gragas or yuumi?? Almost every support can't carry. I'm guessing your playing top or mid.

What if a adc/supp happen to synergise incredibly well together and can carry 2v5, but solo they both are just mediocre players. And maybe the jungler's onetrick was buffed by the recent patch taking him from an average guy addicted to a trolly champion to being a monster on the top meta pick. Or the riven might have had a shitty had and not be able to focus properly and makes tonnes of mistakes they wouldnt usually.

Because there are many ways to win that involve fairly small KDAs. Because, at the end of the day, there are only two units that matter - your nexus and the enemy team's nexus.
