: In your opinion, who is the worst champ in the game to firstpick?
Azir. I'm sorry. I love the funky chicken but he's so very bad.
: Can't connect to my game
Same. This has probably happened to me 25 times in the last two weeks and I have reported it every time. But nothing has come of it. I just want to play the fucking game. Fix your shit Rito.
: Fix your client
I feel you. I've been getting booted from the game right after champion select. All I get is my home screen of the client saying "Game still in process" with no option to reconnect. I have probably played 20 games in the last two weeks. And have been booted from at least 25 more. I report the bug every time but nothing has come of it.

This is the best post I have seen on this board in a very long time. Thank you.
: Is the client really slow and unresponsive for anyone else right now?
Yes. I have been getting glitches in my League client on an every log in basis ever since patch 8.18. Due to glitches I have; Locked in a Champion who I never even clicked on, and didn't even move my cursor. Had multiple games where I would be given a rune page in game that did not click on and I had not used in Weeks, Found I had multiple rune pages selected, Had an unresponsive trade button after champion select, Had an unresponsive reroll button in ARAM, even though it showed that I had two rerolls left, Been randomly DC'd after champ select for no apparent reason, Had multiple games where I had a skin selected after I locked in a champion and then was given the base skin in game, Had a game where all of my skins were locked, Had multiple friends deleted from my friends list without even knowing about it. Had multiple games here my client showed either I or someone else I was in lobby hovering the same position twice. Had missions for events just not update. Had the play button be completely missing from the top left corner of the client. Gotten an AFK warning in the middle of a fight. Got a chat restriction for being "AFK" when my wifi crashed. Had players who told me to kill myself reported and got no punitive action (I OP.GG'd them). As well as many other bugs. I've just given up on trying to report them because riot doesn't want to get their shit together with this game as a whole and they obviously don't listen when I report bugs because they've been happening for nearly a year now and I reported them regularly for months.

: Why is Yuumi banned so much in the LCS?
Because pro players actually coordinate with each other and as a result the Support really only has one job. That is, to Buff/protect the ADC and Yummi does this exteremly well. Build an Ardent Censor on her and all of the sudden the ADC is getting Attack Damage and Attack Speed from Ardent. Adaptive Force from Yummi herself and I think it's a shield from Yummi's kit and then she has a slow that turns into a stun. So if you have Yummi on an ADC and two good frontliners in front of them then the other team is going to have so much trouble even getting to the ADC much less killing them.
: Which champions are easier the play but hard to master?
Any snowball. Master Yi, Yasuo, Zed, Vayne, etc.
: Am I the only one who like the old rune system better?
No, you are right. The only runes system was much better and the mastery system was infinity better.
: If you're going to complain about matchmaking being broken when Riot gives you bad teammates...
Down voted this post already. You should not have a player in your games who is one or two losses away from demoting to a rank that you aren't even allowed to queue with. If they are nearly two whole elos below you then you should not have them in your games. Period. It ruins the game and right now this game is horrible anyway. The two thirds majority of games are over after champ select. One team has the better draft and they just win from their.

I would be fine with this if it happened. Her Q is very clunky late game. But that's not her problem. He problem right now is she has no way to get to late game on any kind of consistent basis. She's really kind of bad until she has and IE and two other Crit items. So, they need to buff her early game.

: is conditioning good?
Only on champions who stack resistances. The 8 Armor and Magic Resist is ok. But because of the 10 minute wait it doesn't help for the lane at all and as such that 8 armor doesn't end up doing a whole lot unless you just stack resistances. I have gotten like 24 armor from that tune before when I was against an all AD team and just stacking armor.

And Dota is balanced in your opinion? xD
Generally yes. I think Monkey King, Phantom Assassin, Skywrath Mage, and Legion Commander are a little bit stupid but other than that DotA 2's balancing problems are minor. In example, mid lane is kind of hard to gank because there is a medium camp that mid laners farm after they push their lane. Jungling isn't really viable unless you play Enigma. And Raidiant sides safe lane has some camps that are easier to pull than Dire does. But overall. DotA 2 is a fairly well balanced game.

Not really. There have been many times where I would launch the 3rd Q and used it's travel time to move the cursor to change where I would be during the Last Whisper. I agree that bugs should be fixed and that there are some champions s who just blow others up way to fast.

: Yasuo getting placed out of turret range is a gameplay inconsistency.
He blinks to the cursor side of his target. It has nothing to do with the game. It has everything to do with where the player holds the cursor. Good Yasuo's will hold their cursor outside of turret range every time. Even if this was a glitch quit whining. Yasuo is bad enough that nearly all of the High Elo Yasuo's streamers have all quit the game.
: So is climbing based on skill or is based on whom you get as team mates?
Climbing has nothing to do with you below Platinum. Above that it partially about you. Below Platinum you can be the best player in the game by far and it doesn't matter because solo carrying is dead: and as such climbing is completely dependant on your teammates being good enough to make obvious plays and not go 0/18. In Platinum and above you can still lose for no reason other than your teammates lose lane and just keep dying all game. But it is generally less common in Plat and above because (unless they got boosted) they were at least good enough to get carried there and many times they were good enough carry themselves there so they're usually pretty good about not inting.

This is one of many reasons I left League and now play Dota 2. I literally just comment on League boards to trash Riot for the stupid bull shot they've done. : Riot has made its toxic 50/50 matchmaking into the biggest determinant of winning or losing a game.
Yep. One bad player feed two or three people on the other team and you have lost the game. So, even though you are 10/0 it doesn't matter. Because 2 or 3 people on the other are 8/0 they do not have to worry about your team so they go straight for you. This is why I have gone to playing DotA 2. Rito may not like when their players have fun but at leave Valve is a little more considerate of their players.
: Zoe is a Good Champion
Without any doubt she is one of the worst designed champions in the game. At least you could Dodge old AP Nidalee's spears. Zoe has CC and that same limitless burst. Not fun to play as because Mages are clunky. Not fun to play against because if you get hit one time you are dead. And bad for the game because you have one dumbass running around with no care for the game, they just want to one shot everyone.
Akrid415 (NA)
: Why do people pick "no ban"?
Ok. First, the answer is because you do not always know exactly who you are going to go and many times you kind of want to pick to help your comp so there is no reason to ban someone. In example say you're support and you are thinking about playing Thresh, Nami, or Pyke. If you go Thresh then you REALLY want to ban Morgana. If you go Nami then you're going to want to ban an all in support like Alistar or Leona. If you go Pyke then you are really going to want to ban a mage support like Brand or Zyra. Even more so if you see the enemy pick Thresh then you can just pick Morgana. But often times people don't hover champions and many times their hovers get banned. So, it is better to just ban no one, keep all your options open and pick either to help your comp or counter your enemy laner. Second, there really aren't that many wildly unbalanced champions in this game. Kayle is a little ridiculous right now but other than that you can counter pick everyone. This is why I have never for the life of me understood why people permaban certain champions. In example, Darius, Draven, Yasuo, Zed, Teemo, Vayne, Riven, Fiora, Master Yi, etc. Everyone of these champions have hard counters and the overwhelming majority of them are actually ridiculously underpowered. The champions who actually deserve perma banned are the champions with very few counters. These champions usually have a win rate around 52%. In example, right now Ahri, Kayle, Urgot, Jinx, Malzahar, and Morgana are all very ban worthy right now.
: Its your fault.
I play quite a lot of jungle and I cannot support this. Just because jungle is a positions with only a few hard counters does not by any means even suggest that lanes are like that. Top lane (a position I do not play anymore) is literally just hard counter after hard counter. If you have a melee midlaner then you will have a hard time staying in lane simply because you are melee. In bot lane you don't even need a hard counter to lose, you just need a support or ADC (depending on which position you are playing) who just wants to go in. As a Jungler it is your job to understand your laners match ups and try to help the lanes that are winnable with some help. There are lanes that you just cannot help because the match up is too lopsided (e.g Garen into teemo). But for match ups you can help it is your obligation to help. Now if the laner has a toss up or even a winning lane and they still lose. Then it is their fault.

You are correct. That's why I said any Battle Mage CAN take it.

Here's the problem with that. This doesn't actually fix the problem of having a bad player. It simply forces them to pick a position.

: Yasuo loses his bonus crit chance, but his crits now do full damage as compensation...
This would be an overall Nerf to Yasuo. They need to just straight buff him. In example, 1) Reduce the amount of attack speed he needs to reach his Q's CD cap. 2) Remove the crit damage penalty period. 3) Buff the base damage on his E 4) Buff the duration of gathering storm to 10 seconds 5) Give him an actual Keystone again. 6) Allow the armor pen on his ult to apply to non-critical strikes Etc.

J4 and Rek'Sai toxic game play? I've heard everything now. I can agree jungling kind of sucks right now, and the recent changes need to be reverted; but J4 and Rek'Sai toxic? The only things they do is initiate. They're literally on a team for one reason. Just don't play wildly out of position and they will die very quickly.

: Isn't this a sign of a problem with the game? Aren't runes and masteries meant to compliment a play style or the champ not make them viable? I agree with the thread, remove them, see how it goes.
You are correct. This is very much a problem.
: Probably because you dont actually deserved gold. You got lucky in placements on a new account and dumb lucked into gold despite playing like shit yourself then didn't touch ranked at all. This season its very apparent you don't belong there because you're getting dumpstered every game. Better blame team though even though you average a 0.6 kda
Do note that I have played like 4 games this year on that account and I haven't played most of the champions on that account in months. So, this is not anywhere near a representative sample and I'm out of practice with these champs.
: It’s not even just the keystones. They made armor and mr worthless so all this damage flying around is being turned into near constant true damage.
Agreed. 9 Armor and 12.34 Magic Resist (particularly the Magic Resist) make quite a difference. It seems like a small amount but it really does make a difference. I wish Riot would give us some actual options as far as defensive runes.
: What if we removed runes and masteries?
Umm. This would be interesting. But, it would be fairly safe to assume that late game, hyper scaling champions like Vayne, Caitlyn, Yasuo, Tryndamere, Master Yi, Diana, Ekko, and basically anyone else from the tank, Assassin, Skirmisher, and ADC categories would be completely unviable. These champions get too much from the rune system to be viable without them.
Well Cause (EUNE)
: I can climb in my diamond account but im in a cold streak on my bronze account with the same champ
I understand you. I was hard stuck bronze last year on my main account but leveled an account from level 1 to level 30 and got placed Gold 5 with an MMR of about 1700. The sad answer is no. Riot refuses to bring back solo carrying and as a result it doesn't matter how good you are. The only things that matters is that your bot laner is constantly in a side lane farming. Your support is roaming randomly. Your mid lane Syndra is split pushing. Your top Tryndamere is split pushing when the other four of you are dead, and your jungler is take birds as the other four of you are telling fighting mid. So, you are correct. There is a massive problem with this game at any elo below Diamond. But sadly riot doesn't care about us down here. They care about pro players like Double Lift and no one else. Spent ten years playing this game faithfully and are Diamond? Doesn't matter. Played every day for 4 years and still stuck in bronze? They literally don't care. You a streamer that helped the game get off the ground and played league over 2/3 of your life? They do not care in the slightest. Unless you are in LCS or LCK they don't give a good G-d damn what you think. You're just another account who they can try to get to buy skins. They only see you for the money they can make. This is one of many reasons why people quit this game and get on with their life. Riot doesn't care about us. So, why should we care about them?
: would you play a vintage league ? one of the first versions of the game.
Just want to say. I love Yasuo, so I would live to play release Yasuo. But even if they did stop at Jinx, yes. I absolutely would. This game has just progressively gotten worse for years. So yes. I absolutely would play vintage league.
: The sharp spike in getting autofilled JG should be a wakeup call to Riot
I feel like at this point it may be worth it to just go double top. Like, Two supports, top and bottom of supports, A Top, A Bot, and a Mid.
: Assassins are sometimes not able to "do their job" feedback, suggestions, and tips for riot balance!
Whole heartedly agree. If you miss position as a mage or ADC you should be punished for it. You may do far and away the most damage in the game as a Mage or ADC but I should be able to counter pick you.
: Riot Lets talk about Fiora
Honestly I think the Juggernaut update made it so Skirmisher top laners are just not viable. Tanks even outshine Juggernauts. So, Skirmisher as a whole are weak. Not just Fiora. That said. I do agree. Fiora needs a buff. She's arguably the worst Skirmisher in the game right now. Which says something because Yasuo is in that class and has a 47% win rate, even with the doubled Crit chance passive and a Wind Wall that brakes on a semi regular basis. So, yeah. Fiora is not good right now. The place where I disagree with you is I am not sure it needs to be a direct buff. I would actually prefer either buffing Tri-Force or making a new Bruiser item to help Skirmishers play against Tanks and Juggernauts.
: You seriously can't tell me that this is okay....
"won't take action against this guy" bullshit. He's received 3 huge direct nerfs in the last 3 years and countless indirect nerfs: and it shows in that this is the highest win rate he's had in 2 years and before that he had a 56% win rate. So, quit your whining. There was a time when he was actually unbalanced. Besides, 51% is about where you want any champion to be. That means they're strong but they're not the best in the game.
: Riot's Reasoning for PD Changes is Downright Laughable
I have mixed feelings about this post. I HATE the Phantom Dancer changes because this item has literally been a dualist item since season 1 back when PD and Ninja Tabi's were the two main sources of Dodge chance and it is very obviously not in any way, shape, or form a dualist item anymore: and it hurts all the champions who had formerly relied on it (In example Yasuo, Tynd, Lucian when he goes crit, Ashe, Draven, Kalista, Vayne, Kindred, etc). After this it's not like ADC's are the best class in the game anymore. They're probably the 4th or 5th best class in the game so they can use the help. But this isn't even that helpful to ADC's. It's legitimately the worst crit item in the game. Basically the only reason you buy this item is if the enemy team has an assassin or other kind of burst or hard engage champion: and even then it doesn't feel good. This item considerably lowers you DPS and the shield isn't even that good until late game.
: Here's to you the Yasuo players.
I basically haven't played him since 8.11. He was my main but he's been just plain unplayable since then. So, I've been meaning Kalista since. So get your bullshit "Yasuo main" comment out of here.

"Yasuo is too strong" and literally still has a negative win rate. This is why no one respects you, Riot. Yasuo has been very bad for 2 years and you guys are still nerfing him. Meanwhile Mages are still the strongest class in the game by far. So much so that I am still seeing double mage botlanes and not one Nerf is headed their way. Man I am glad I barely play this game anymore.

My only comment on this is why the Phantom Dancer change? Who is going to buy this trash heap of an item? 1) 30% AS, (Tied for the least AS of any Zeal item now.) 2) 25% Crit Chance, (SOP for Crit items now) 4) 5% MS, (Now the least % MS of any Zeal item). 5) You guys basicall removed the Spectral Waltz passive because the duration is too short to actually get some space even in a short fight and 6) The lifeline passive for what? Is Stopwatch, GA, 1000 HP heals and shields from Ardent Supports, and untargetability frames not enough to protect ADC? After this, Phantom Dancer is a dualist item. Any dualist that goes crit uses this as a core item. Yasuo, Tryndamere, Kalista, Lucian, Draven, Kindred, Ashe, etc are all going to a giant Nerf from this. Yasuo in particular gets hurt by this: and right now he sits at a 47% win rate, needs 111.5% AS to cap his Q's CD, and is absolutely dependant on the Lament and Spectral Waltz passives just to survive until late game. This new Phantom Dancer is bad. Please abort the Phantom Dancer changes.

: Crit Item Explorations Part 2
Phantom Dancer; 1) Hate the removal of damage reduction. Huge nerf to dualist Critical Strike users, like Yasuo, Tryndamere, Kindred, Draven, Kalista, Lucian when he goes Critical Strike. 2) Attack Speed nerf also hurts these champions. Particularly Yasuo. 3) Lament and Spectral Waltz > Lifeline. By a lot. 4) 25% Critical Strike Chance is actually very good. It means now no matter how many Critical Strike items you have the chance will always be a ___ in 4 chance. In example, with one Critical Strike item you have a 1 in 4 chance. With 2 you will have 2 in 4 chance. With three you will have a 3 in 4, and with 4 you will have 4 in 4. Rapidfire Cannon, Stattik Shiv and Runnan’s Hurricane; 1) 25% Critical Strike Chance is fine and there are no other changes so I’m good with this. Essence Reaver: 1) Very good. I like everything about this. Spear of Shojin: 1) I personally like the Bruiser version of this item better, but this is pretty good. Infinity Edge: This is ok, only problem is the Critical Strike Damage passive needs to go back to 250% or maybe, you could make it so it starts at 225% and it grows to 250% with the more Critical Strike Chance you have. Last Whisper, Lord Dominik’s, and Mortal reminder’s; 1) I like this. It makes building into Lord Dominik’s Regards much smoother.

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: January 9
Relic Shield line, Aatrox, Camille, Cassiopeia, Galio, Irelia, Jax, Kassadin, Rakan, and Urgot do not need nerfs. All of these Champions and items are either balanced or significantly underpowered. I would strongly suggest leaving all of them be or even buff most of these. I am fine with some Champions being able to scale past level 18. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I hit level 18 after minute 35, most of the time I hit level 18 between minute 30 And 35 and I have games go 45 minutes on a semi regular basis. This change would allow some teams to with late game hyper scaling comps to make themselves even more powerful late (to finally end the game). The one caveat I would put to this is that you should be judicious with who you do this on, make them on only late game champions, and don't do this to mages. Mages are way to powerful right now. They don't need any buffs. Zilean would be a great choice because he's a support and his passive would work with it. Maybe someone like Mordekaiser because of his passive. Ivern because he take jungle camps essence. Maybe Kog'Maw so we can bring the 5.0 attack speed cap again. Maybe Maokai because he's a tree that you could say "just keeps growing". Maybe Ornn because it goes with his theme of upgrading items.

PhRoXz0n (NA)
: Crit Item Explorations
Infinity Edge Direction 1: 1) Why increase Critical Strike Chance by 40%? That makes for some real funky math to get to 100% critical strike. 2) What is "a fair and balanced amount" of increased Critical Strike Damage? If it is 10% then just leave it be as it is right now, if it is 50% then yes please. Infinity Edge Direction 2: 1) I like this very expensive but very strong version of Infinity Edge. 2) I like that it has Attack Speed, Attack Damage, and Movement Speed. 3) I like the return of the Critical Strike Damage Modifier 4) the 50% increased Critical Strike Chance makes math strange yet again. I would really much rather have a flat 25% or 30% Critical Strike Chance added than a percentage of a percentage. Zeal Items have 25% Critical Strike Chance: 1) The idea is just fine. Just make it so three Critical Strike Items still gives us 100% Critical Strike Chance. 2) I like the Movement Speed buff on Rapid-fire Cannon and the Attack Speed buff on Statikk Shiv. I feel this will further the distinction between these two items and more solidly make Rapid-fire Canon a Marksman item and Statikk Shiv a Melee item. Hexrinker: 1) This is HORRIBLE. Please do not do this. Hexdrinker having a magic damage shield but no MR is REALLY counter intuitive. Also, Hexdrinker right now is a very good item with it's own specific niche (that is an early item to pick up against heavy magic burst while still scaling damage wise). This change would not only remove this item from that niche but remove this niche from the game completely. Phantom Dancer: 1) AD on Phantom dancer is not a bad idea. 2) I do not like that the damage reduction has been removed. This is the "Dualist Critical Strike Item" and this would completely remove that concept from this game and hurt champions like Yasuo, Tryndamere, Kindred, Kalista, etc. Essence Reaver: 1) I don't like this change. This takes an item that is not that good right now and doesn't really help it. All it does is make it so if you are losing that it helps you even less. Please come up with some better buff. Energized Stormrazor: 1) I am just going to be very honest. I do not like this item period. I feel this is just some poor substitute for the only Infinity Edge when it was actually good. 2) I do feel like this version of Stormrazor makes the most sense of any version that has been suggested so far, though. Multi-proc Stormrazor: 1) I feel like the charge time kills this item. It means that really you would have three procs walking into lane and then none for the team fights. Last Whisper: 1) I like that it builds out of 2 Long Swords now. Makes it a little easier to build. 2) 10% Armor Penetration buff is just fine. New maw of Malmortious: 1) I am against this only because I am against the change to Hexdrinker. otherwise it is just fine. 2) Please leave Hexdrinker and Maw as is.
