: This is probably one of the main reasons they are doing the new ranked queue system where you pick a primary and secondary role. I imagine it will reduce the issue of people not getting their selected role.
Again, the simple idea of incorporating the Team Builder concept in Ranked could've been done even last year. I don't see why Riot's thinking of doing it in Season 6/7. They make too much effort in making new champions and over-tweaking champions that they end of nerfing/buffing anyway, back to square one, while the former change could be so much more efficient.

Thats what current META is. META( Most efficient tactic available) was widely accepted by playerbase but not by everyone, isnt rule and doesnt have to be like that. There DONT have to be supports. There can be 2 mid, 2 adc, 2 junglers, 2 supports even. Support ADC top + support adc bot +mid. None of that is trolling, thats just choice. Your choice is to play meta, its others playes choice not to. What you see as a troll is completely IRRELEVANT. Anyone can take farm, even "supports" can farm if they want, not farming is THEIR choice. Every player in this game has personal choice what champion he wants to play, has choice to farm or leave farm. Flaming someone and calling him troll for his choices, can be reported as negative attitude and get you banned.
Again, read the situation. OK, if you're going to be so fancy and think having multiple roles as off meta and not trolling, fine. But if you have a teammate not helping out another teammate in need and taking CS while he's getting 3v1'ed RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU under, what do you call that? Yeah, gtfo.

Logic?
Both are ADC's. The game was designed to have one top, one jungle, one ADC, one mid laner, one support. Don't try to justify having two roles as going off meta. : > Team Builder is good, but they should apply the same for Ranked instead of only Normals. That's what I'm saying. They are introducing Ranked Team Builder for next season. It's a Draft type; you pick 2 roles and queue, enter champ select and draft pick like usual except everyone already has their role decided.
That's good, but don't you think that kinda of idea could've been thought by Riot much earlier and had it implemented long ago? I know I may come off as lame, but I think they should focus on the most fundamental aspect before making massive changes with kits or making new champions.

I'm fine with having 2 ADC but don't wait to tell us that until we've locked in a squishy jungler and a squishy support. It's incredibly frustrating when people lower in the pick order don't communicate and then pick champions that don't work well with the champions already picked. I know but this guy probably didnt even look what other guy said. He asumed just because he said ADC first and because he was picking before, that ADC role was immediately his
No. The person who picked the second ADC was the person who called it first. But the person who picked the first ADC had a higher pick order and ignored it. : Playing off meta isnt trolling. Its personal choice. 2 ADC isnt trolling. Trolling would be if he picks that 2nd adc and while being duo on lane, opponents engage on one of them and other one just ignores it, without helping , to retaliate for other guys choice to pick 2nd adc.
There's a difference between playing off meta and deciding to go 2 ADC BECAUSE he didn't get the role he wanted and gets in an argument with the other ADC. I've seen a bunch of legitimate picks like Vayne/Quinn top, Caitlyn/Ashe support and even Graves jungle nowadays, but I consider them legitimate because they clearly communicated with the team that they're going top or jungle or support, so they don't have a confused situation of both wanting to go bot lane to get CS and be defined as the team's ADC role, not anything else.

: As a counter point, there is nothing more frustrating watching two of your teammates argue in champ select over something petty and trivial, and have one of them leave with 2 seconds to go before the game starts. Or perhaps last pick didn't get the role he wanted so then he trolls for the rest of champ select and leaves just before the game starts. Thanks for wasting 5 minutes of my life. It is for this reason that I think removing penalties for leaving is NOT the solution.
And what if the people arguing don't decide to leave? Everyone plays a game of chicken when they see a troll during pick/ban, and although logically it makes sense to lose 3 than to lose perhaps 15~20, I don't see the justice for someone to take a shot for the rest of the team and dodge and that troll gets out clean. Oh, and they don't have the options to report anyone during champ select, and more than likely, not enough people from that champ select will spend the time to make personal reports by sending an email go to the website and report. I think removing penalty in terms of LP is fine, but maybe a longer duration of being unable to join queue. Or if Riot actually takes the reports seriously...
: Have you even considered how the new Ranked Draft will alleviate some trolling? Often times a troll does it because they didn't get their favored role; the Team Builder Draft style will guarantee people get their roles more often which will result in less of that.
I know. People don't troll out of no reason. More than often times, they do it because some guy picked what they were intending to pick for role. Team Builder is good, but they should apply the same for Ranked instead of only Normals. But honestly, having multiple friends online just to make sure your chance of encountering a troll seems too dependent, especially if you're playing when they're not.
