So what you are saying is instead of reworking/adjusting Ryze, Kalista, Azir, etc. over and over again, it would be much easier to change/rework other champs to make them just as intuitive and harder to play? Sounds ideal to me. Each champ needs their highs and lows; too many easy champs atm. I would love to see more skill expression in the game. This especially when you are on the other side of the spectrum, hearing that the champ is brain dead when they are too strong makes you feel bad for playing that champ for being meta.

Things to note about reveting Q back to bonus damage to champions: * If it is a full revert, it will make the impact slightly stronger than her current Q at max rank, but will lose power in early game. If I recall correctly there was a reason why you increased the AP ratio when you made the change in the first place in 6.9; removing the bonus damage did feel bad at that point of the game but the compensation was nice. Also wave clear might be an issue since it only applied to champs; assuming she keeps the same AP ratio and base damage then it should be fine. However, if it's a full revert on top of the minion changes that might go through that's more mana to waste since bonus damage does not apply to minions. * It will make combos very much harder to pull off because it will decrease your window of opportunity to do certain combos during the laning phase. Yes sphere management is a thing. Giving your opponent more windows of opportunity without being zoned off by 1 sphere is also a thing. Not sure how I feel about it because there are a lot of factors that take place if you remove it, such as wasting more mana to keep spheres in play and keeping pressure. TL;DR: With the revert, Sphere and Mana management difficulty will increase. Not sure by how much but it will leave room for you to lever her power assuming you take difficulty as a guideline of how you balance champs. I assume tweaking numbers is still a thing, so I will be fine with or without the revert. Edit: If it does get a revert, _0.05% ap ratio and longer sphere duration_ for _ 20-25 % bonus damage on champs _ equates to around 60 extra damage difference at max rank at 600 ap in exchange for 2 less seconds on sphere duration. {{sticker:sg-syndra}}

I think the problem to opening other options for bot is looking into how certain champs scale. And tampering with that will always lead to how they interact in other lanes. For example making early game Lucian and then destroying his mid game lethality fantasy basically took him out of bot and then subsequently mid. Late game he is alright but not with that range. Another example is Corki and how he changed primarily into a mage only being able to mid only; very rare do I see him. I don't mind ADC's showing up to other lanes but if it continues to dwindle down the options for bot it will be a problem which is why I guess you are doing this. Since ADCs are basically taking other roles (i.e. Graves, Lucian) I wonder how you are gonna make more options for bot. Ziggs worked unintentionally for a time, so I have hopes.

High Disciple Syndra looks like she was disciplined by Ionian teachings and was given a 'Mantle of Decorum' which is given to highly revered Ionians. This is very nice cause even though Justicar was technically made with a similar take like that of Arclight Varus (and how you mentioned opposite timeline), it does feel as though Justicar Syndra is part of a higher order than she normally would be able to obtain. Seems like she is part of some celestial tribunal with Kayle. If anything I always saw Justicar theme as masked heroes of Justice. Compared to Arclight you can see that Syndra and Aatrox both have masks. My guess is because they don't judge by looks, but rather by action. Edit: If anything Justicar would remind me of elemental heroes from Yu-gi-oh.

Mind control seems interesting. Have you explored Zombie minions and make it have a cool down? Weak but packs a punch to towers and champs? Would be interesting for split push champs... but then again it would kinda invade Yorick's identity. Another exploration would be to give a morale boost to minions around? Feel free to use.

Yo to add some spice you can do skins as fusions or other alternative cards. Busterblader has an alternate Buster Blader the Destruction Swordsmaster alternate with different effects. Or maybe variants like how Magician Valkyria has similar design features of Dark Magician Girl. Nice job dude; keep up the good work. Could also use spell icons for more spells and traps. Could be interesting if you wanna go for arch-types.

Double Rift: Your teleport summoner spell now allows you to teleport to all towers and structures whether broken or not. Slightly on a longer cool down but leaves behind a rift for a few seconds. Allies may take the rift to automatically be by your side. Allies who take the rift sacrifice a portion of their health after the channeling is complete in order to take the rift. Chrono Phase: Your ghost summoner spell now creates a time lapse, lasts longer, and is on a slightly shorter cool down. Everything around you has slowed down which has caused you to gain increased Health and Resource Regen. Also the cool downs on all your spells (including summoner spells) and passives will decrease by 1 seconds for every 2-3 seconds passed. Revive: X second Cool Down depending on time of game or some other factor (Bad early game, very good late game). Upon death you are given the option to revive which will be channeled for a Y seconds. (Not sure of whether to revive at the same location of death or at spawn.) * Note: Wanted something to replace time spent dead runes. Channeling effect would be similar to the recall effect being blue. I would do Green but thinking it might be hard for colorblind people to see. Veteran Scar's: Every time you take damage your armor and mr increases up to a max. Once you reach the max limit, you gain a shield that lasts for a few seconds. Once the shield dissipates Veteran Scars is put on a cool down.

No. I've been on boards for awhile. I remember there used to be a guy who made an oath to never buy Teemo. He ended up making a post and ticket about how he got it from a mystery gift from a friend or loot... he eventually got it removed thanks to a Rioter. I wouldn't say it'say it's refund because it was a gift from riot for honor.And it's a simple request that he doesn't want it. Same thing for the Teemo guy I believe.

This is probably one of the things I've been secretly wishing for and it has been done. It's such a welcomed surprise. Thank you so much and congrats to you (and team) for making this happen. Next thing to look at would probably be in-game UI/HUD overlay mods. Would be pretty neat for customization such as maybe having basic color HUDs, Rank based HUDs, or Skin themed HUDs (especially for Ult skins). I don't know, but this has been something I've always wanted in terms of in-game customization for a long time. This is just something I would love to see in the future as a surprise.

: In it's current state Challenger was just 'Red Anti-thesis to Championship', so we wanted to hang onto Challenger and workshop it a bit more to dig into what makes this skin line cool.
Just to throw ideas around, let's get to know that the purpose of the challenger skins was to celebrate or at least acknowledge the beginning of a new season. I agree that it does seem like the red anti-thesis of the championship skins which isn't a bad thing. But I would guess that a more precise reasoning would be that not many champions can fit the current thematic/ coloring. It does feel like the pink/red coloring works best with female champs and not many male champs would look fashionable with that trend. The white though can probably stay and be used as a base. I personally like the color white because it signifies purity and more than often translates like a blank slate. So having white mixed with any color (like Red or pink for females like Ahri/ Nidalee) would be perfect. Mixing colors like white as base, black as a second base, and yellow trimming would be interesting. But importantly the design of the skin needs to say that this is their prime version and they are ready to take on any challenge. For example, you can take a look at a game called **Warframe** where each designed character has slick primed variant. (What to do with Ahri/ Nid to be inline with new design? Probably just change their initial colors, make the now skins chromas. Those who've owned the skin for a good length of time can get to keep the chroma?)

: VGU and New Champion pods are actually quite big. Currently both New Champion and Champ Up have 3 pods. There are 3 New Champion pods, 2 VGU pods and 1 Roster Pod. Since we have ramped up ChampUp to 2 pods the cadence of Champion content has been pretty quick. If you look back over the last year or so you will see that there has been some kind of champion release almost every month. Nov (Illoai) Dec (Poppy) Jan (Shen/Jhin) ASol (March) Taric (April) Mages Roster (May) Taliyah (June) Ryze (July) Keld (August) Yorick (Sept) Ivern (Oct.) Assassins Roster (Nov) That is a champion release of some kind roughly every 4 weeks or so. I'm not saying we are going to maintain this cadence since some champions are more complicated and require more time then others, but I do think it might be TOO fast if we added another VGU team. I can see a point in the future when one of the New Champion pods become a VGU pod (Or maybe some kind of hybrid team that swaps between VGU/New Champion) but I don't think we are quite at that point yet.

Thoughts on mid laners taking raptors for advantage? I'd personally like it if the camp was more like 1 big raptor; killing it summons 5 smaller ones because I don't like how if you are ahead against the other laner you can take easy small advantages which makes the snowballing easier depending on how you view the circumstances. Not saying it's not good to find small advantages, nor am I saying mid laners should stop taking the small creeps from jungle camps, just saying it should cost them something especially how easy access they have to those camps.

Problem with Syndra is that the champs that actually suppressed her from being picked prior to worlds were nerfed. And most of her counters aren't competitively meta for Worlds. In solo-que she doesn't do too well because there a lot more options that can deal with her. If she does get nerfed she will be in a much worse spot when the assn and bruiser/diver updates come along. For example as a Syndra main I find it hard dealing with bruiser tanks (Gragas, Irelia, etc.) and champs that can easily get to the back line and be a nuisance (Hecarim, Azir, etc.) I'll have to let you know that she wasn't a new pick coming to worlds. She actually suffered losses in LPL before being a staple meta pick. Only way I can see nerfs for her is if they completely remove the aegis aura. But in retrospect many of us Syndra mains forewarned about the MYMU and would gladly take a revert if possible over any other nerfs.

I'd say if the thresh hold passes +10 LP net loss/worth, next win should put you in promos and gives you that extra win for that promo. For example you at 90Lp but you've been getting 20+ LP per win I think it should just give benefit of the doubt. Would be a much smoother system.

Not that i don't want more Syndra skins, but it triggers me when people think Syndra is the "evil/bad gal" in league without reading the lore. She is more anti-hero than antagonist. I understand the want for one but like that is basically her Default skin. Really don't see any value in trying to recreate or re-envision her. That's just me though.

I like storm and would probably want a full black one with purple linings to accurately reflect her splash art. Other ones not sure how good they would mesh with her classic particles, doubt Riot would change vfx colors for her chromas assuming she gets any. Cause if she does they will probably need to do so for QoD as well.
: Yes. I think if you really want to 1 trick GP, these nerfs will be a good thing. His banrate is high and climbing. These are decent-sized nerfs but if you're an experienced GP player, you'll still be able to win a lot with him and him actually making it through the ban stage will be a boon. We tested out a lot of things but momentarily had settled on a set of ultimate changes. They made sense, but I was pretty confident that he'd still get the ban boot too much and gave that feedback.
If it doesn't pan out well, have you thought about making GP barrel's free armor pen scale similar to Darius's E or even have it actually scale with armor pen items so it's not so free in the beginning.

Wouldn't making his assassination take longer take away his identity of stealth and quick kills? I understand it's not healthy for the game (e.g. Rengar) but if the direction you described were to continue forward would that mean you guys are looking into giving him a new identity over the generic "I'm the Assassin's Creed league champ"? If his way of killing is gonna change then I might as well see him get an escape tool or gain some other "edge" when he get's unlucky. Certain situations seem good to go in but in a fast paced environment where anything can happen he needs to be able to pull off his combos quick and do his job or he is completely useless.
