Lost game because i had 4 losing teammates. I went 2 and 0 in lane, lost game because I had a 0 and 9 mid laner. I went 1 0 and 4 in lane and I lost game because of a jungler who made bad decisions. Kayle has no control over the outcome of the game any more. Shes just there to ult a champion who is already fed. If your teammates aren't already winning the game for you, you wont be able to win.

The reason I was able to win late against Kayle was because I had mastery of the champion and I knew what to do to counter it. The reason you and everyone else just gave up at that point was because you didnt treat level 16 kayle any differently than level 15 kayle. I would hit level 16 kayle and then turn on you and :surprised pikachu: you died and then flamed that it must be because of a broken mechanic.

I won against riven and tryndamere early and when my jungle gave me attention I could win other lanes early. People dont like playing against a lot of things but a timer is another mechanic in league of legends. Just play jax into her and beat her when the timer goes off. Jax was and still is literally stronger than level 16 kayle. How is a champion that is supposed to auto win late have a late game counte? That sounds very balanced to me

It is absolutely fair. I give up my entire game just so I can ignore what you build at level 16 and pick you apart if you make a mistake with your positioning. It needs to be in her kit. They need to balance the true damage (doesnt crit/toned down).

: It discourages Tanks from being played in every role and encourages high burst champions to be played since there wont be any tanks to counter non-sustain damage. You end up with a meta where burst damage champions arent countered by anything.

You have conqueror in the game. And Kayle is only one champion. Her late game was unique giving your team a option against a beefy frontline that you would otherwise have no chance of breaking through.

Champions like Veigar and Nasus' late game can be prevented, but Kayles true damage waves was unbeatable. To have someone "auto win late" is an issue, even if she were to go 0/6, as soon as she hit level 11 or whatever she just autod and her true damage (which you cant build to defend yourself against) would just kill everyone. True damage is fine in moderation, but if its every auto its an issue.

Her true damage came online at level 16, so you had to drag the game out to 30 minutes against a 0 and 6 kayle.

she doesnt stand out though. You pick kayle to stand out in the late game and she doesnt do that anymore. Shes a late game threat like any other dps in the game but what makes her a late game carry? Why do I want to hit level 16 on kayle?

I went 13 and 3 in lane and just fell off a cliff. Your assuming that I’m not winning my lane and getting advantages. You can’t play around late game any more. Her identity has changed. Her new identity is mid game lane bully that synergizes well with dive comps. I don’t like being a cancerous lane bully. I like being a late game menace.

Now she doesn’t have the identity of win late. She lost an entire transformation, and we can’t take over games when we managed to stay relevant for 30 minutes. There was a lot of reward in winning/ going even in lane and the only reason I felt i ever truly dominated the late game was because players didn’t play agains an AD/crit level 16 kayle. They just didn’t know what she could do so I just won based on surprise factor a lone. People who played against her like she was the monster she was would beat me in the late game. This new iteration feels like she’s designed to fit into the role of ranged top lane cancer that falls off late if she can’t stomp her lane. She had an individualized identity before and now she’s just at another vlayne/onhit kennen/neeko top with different abilities. I’m asking for that late game identity back. Edit: from the patch notes: “We're shifting power into Kayle's early game at the cost of some of her late-game carry potential. Kayle should still be a weaker champion early who ascends into a god, but she (and her opponents) should now have more influence on whether or not she gets there.” What exactly makes her “a god” now?

The intention was to make Kayle a bit stronger early, but make her late game more dependent on items, not just reaching the late game. The previous Kayle was a ticking time bomb. It didn't matter how well it how poorly you did in lane. If the game went on too long, Kayle could carry it. The new Kayle requires you to get at least a kill or two early and farm decently well to reach godhood. It's no longer fed to you on a silver platter. In exchange for that requirement, she actually has the power to do so. She's no longer half a champion pre-11. She's more interactive to both the player and her enemies, able to get a lead early, but also able to be denied that lead. It's a healthier place for Kayle.

I will say, her entire kit being reworked like this was so sudden. There weren't any indications to it needing to be changed this drastically, much like A Sol, which is really scaring a lot of players right now.

They wanted to help out early. I think swapping 6 and 11 was perfect. Give her early range but dont give her any push or damage. They were too scared that they would help her too much so they took away one of her three transformations. 16 was a transformation... Now that transformation doesnt exist. She never ascends/transcends

That doesnt give you the damage that your missing out on. The aoe true damage that can crit means that you can pick any target to attack during a teamfight. Your dps against tanks is the same as your dps against non tanks. You can do so much more within a teamfight if you can do damage to every champion you attack. Right now I have +25 range... thats one quarter of a teemo. Theres no way that at my level of skill I can do more in a teamfight with +25 aa range than I could with AOE true damage that can crit.
