: Riots champ design is incredibly dull now
Sylas' ult is the thing that bothers me about his whole design. If you're going to have a character that can just mimic another's ability, I would expect a trickster character. Not some jacked prisoner that whirls around huge chains. Its almost as if someone had an idea of "What if we had a champ that could copy abilities?" and then some guy is making Sylas and they just crammed it into his kit as his ult. I also miss how Kayle was in a full suit of armor, it made her cool.
: Infernal was just a blah as hell recolor on old Mordekaiser. They have shifted it to fall in line with the other Infernal skins that exist, and none of them use the harsh geometry like is present in the original mace. They chose to go with a more organic, fiery style to fit the theme. Same holds true for Dragonknight. Both of these skins now don't work with the style of the original mace, which is why they no longer use it. Additionally, regarding the D&D skin - they chose to redesign the skin to keep it's name and also work with an existing, classic fantasy theme. Otherwise, "Lord Mordekaiser" is probably the most nebulous, non-thematic names for a skin ever, and doesn't elicit ANY kind of imagery or motif. It's TOO open ended, which is why they chose to plug it into the D&D skin universe, which is also where they could retain the original mace in one of his skins, since this one's lack of a solid thematic allows for a lot of flexibility during the rework.

Thats really lame and unnecessary. I was looking forward to a Morde rework but Riot _again_ completely changes the skin I liked and purchased with it. Personally I have absolutely zero interest in skin lore and the names not being very thematic, what I care about is the actual skin that appealed to me in the first place. I wish that Riot would stop completely changing skins when they rework champions like this. Purchasing a skin to not have the standard mace only to get the standard mace in a rework.

Okay, but again, why not give the original mace to one of the skins that you listed such as Infernal? Infernal used Morde's old mace. "Infernal is already using that style" Why is Infernal using that style to begin with then if that style was a prominent feature of a different skin? Especially if it forces another skin to lose it's iconic feature. And relating to a D&D skin, why convert an existing skin into that instead of making a new one? Thats like if when they reworked Sion, they gave Hextech Sion the double axe while Barbarian Sion gets the maul.

The swapped around the weapons too. Lord Mordekaiser was the only skin with the flanged mace, and now _hes the only one without it._ Why would you give Morde's normal mace to the one skin that used a flanged energy mace, and then give flanged energy maces to the skins that used the normal mace?

It tries to put you in games of your skill level, but the thing is, your actual rank isn't there yet. If I am trying to climb when being matched against plat players, I want to be winning games in plat, not silver.

Now I feel like if I wanted to, I could focus on getting higher for my ADC rank or I could have a primary rank and role and then start learning a second or a third. It takes tons of pressure off of not queuing up for exactly your best role every game. I feel like I could actually, feasibly learn top or jungle and not feel bad about getting tossed into Iron because my ADC role, the one I care about most, is silver or gold. I have a ton of mid lane and top lane champions that I know how to play and I enjoy playing in norms but don't have the confidence to play in ranked. Now I can have a competitive mindset in ranked with these champions and not feel awful if I don't do absolutely perfect because it won't affect my rank as a whole.

The reason why I say that is because I want to progress in ranked and climb, and since roles have their own ranked, I have to stick to the one I'm the furthest with and having to play any other role doesn't contribute to that(Or if it does, its about 1/6th of what it would be in the chosen role).

Because it encourages you to try and keep playing the same role all through ranked and it cannot guarantee that you will even get it either.

The ult is a disappointing imo. I always liked the character style where they use chains or shackles that tied them up to fight, which is what most of hit kit is until his ult which is "He steals the ult lol". It seems like the whole point of it was "Dude, wouldn't it be crazy and shocking to people if there was a character that copies other peoples ultimates? That would be so sick!"

It having old Akali's outfit was just a suggestion. The entire point is why not update the actual skin and keep it instead of replacing it with something different entirely.

Crabgot is a little different but its still ingame and resembles it(Like pretty much every skin), which is a crustacean. Traditional skins are also different because its getting a skin that just looks like how the old champion did. Crimson Akali literally got deleted and was replaced with Infernal.

Yes I did. "Kill bounties increased at 4+ kills. Minion & monster gold advantages now factor into bounties. Bounties on the losing team reduced. Bounty payout per kill now capped."
