Bard with crit is pretty good and teemo is also pretty good. Why are you guys complaining? Just play urf for what it is. Stop worrying about trying to win the game this isn't ranked. Because 99% of players don't know how to play them properly. And if you have a Teemo on your team, the whole enemy team gets sweepers and pinks.

: Revert ARAM changes (explanations)
The problem isn't the fact that they tried to balance the champions, the problem is the WAY in which they went about trying to balance the champions. Instead of making certain champions squishier, they should have instead just increased spell cooldowns and mana consumption on champions that had high winrates.

: well going by this, https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/rank-distribution it says that 81.22 percent out of 10's of MILLIONS of players are gold or below with gold and silver each having over 30% of the games total population. More than double the % of any other divisions I'm finding your premise very hard to believe. A quick google search tells you that LoL has roughly 80 million players so that leaves roughly 24 MILLION players in both Gold and Silver. how can you EFFECTIVLY wintrade with a pool of 24 mil?

More than double the % of any other divisions I'm finding your premise very hard to believe. A quick google search tells you that LoL has roughly 80 million players so that leaves roughly 24 MILLION players in both Gold and Silver. how can you EFFECTIVLY wintrade with a pool of 24 mil? Only a fraction of those 80 million are in the NA region, and only a fraction of those even play ranked. As of the time I'm typing this, there are just over 1.7 million players who are placed on the NA ranked ladder. Of those, only a fraction are in gold, so that brings the number down to about 561,000. Of those, it's likely that only a tiny tiny fraction actually play ranked on a regular basis (more than 1 game per day on average over the season). So probably only a few thousand are actually putting serious time into playing ranked. You then take those few thousand and consider the fraction of the total time they're actually spending in queues. If a person spends say, 10 total minutes per day in queues, those 10 minutes are only a small fraction of the time in a 24 hour day. 10 minutes/24 hours = 0.694% of the time. So 1% of a few thousand is a few dozen. That's the actual amount of players _(in my region & in my elo)_ waiting in queue at any given time. All you need is a group of say, 15 or 20 people in the same region/elo to queue up at the exact same time, and chances are that 3 or 4 of those people will end up in the same game. If not, they can simply dodge. And since dodging doesn't cost any MMR, and MMR is the **ONLY** thing that truly matters in ranked, win traders lose literally _**nothing**_ by dodging and trying again, and again, and again, to get onto both teams of a game.
: no, i get what wintrading IS my question is, with the player population in gold being as big as it is, and the lower tiers even more so than that, how can anyone effectively 'wintrade' when they have a miniscule chance of being matched up with the other person

This suggests that the number of players who actually play on a regular basis is far, far smaller than you are making it out to be.

I'd love to hear your explanation I'm not going to go into any detail here about how it's done but... I'll just point out that, with the way the system is currently designed, win trading and exploiting the system is actually quite easy for groups of people who want to exploit it. All it takes is one person on your team to be in contact with players on the other team, constantly telling (or perhaps even showing) them where everyone is at all times, for the game to become basically a joke. When that happens, one team is basically playing without fog of war. There are people who have told me that they actually make a business model of boosting accounts to diamond and then selling them. Makes all the sense in the world that these people are using win trading to boost accounts en masse by exploiting the system.

: My first impressions with Ranked.
Um, that's actually how the game works. As a jungler, you're not supposed to gank a losing lane.
: Solo/Duo Inters, purposefully unhelpful and giving up players
This has been a serious problem for years. It's clear that Riot are full blown sociopaths who just want to shovel in money endlessly and don't give a rat's ass how much agony and anxiety they cause for their players. Even when someone leaves a game 2 or 3 minutes into the game and never returns, everyone reports the person, yet the person gets to keep on playing games. Had such a case today. Psycho top laner spends the first minute of the game ranting in chat, complaining about a loss streak he's on and bad teammates... ints a kill at start of lane phase, leaves game and doesn't return. Our team reports him, yet he keeps on playing games and doesn't face any penalty.

: I remember when league came out. I was only 16, when I bought the league of legends collector pack and played the beta. (Remember that stupid summoner spell that silenced you?) let me tell you, the game was fucking Golden; I may have been a terrible player, but I had so much fun playing new characters, different metas, and exploiting funny glitches. Remember dodge runes? (Fucking Jax) Remember Spell vamp? Remember Sword of the occult? Remember when there were actual Aura items? Remember revive? Remember when there weren’t any blast cones nor gate in the Base’s wall? Remember blocking minions as heimidinger? Remember Madrid’s? Remember old Crabgot and one shot poppy? You may tell me I have my nostalgia glasses on too tight, but go look up the original league and season 3 championship theme. Go look up gameplay and see how much more diverse it was (funnily enough it’s less diverse with less champions.) Literally.. watch the LCS with TSM and Cloud9 in S3. Everyone doesn’t die in fucking 1 second. I used to complain about games lasting too long, until almost 40 minutes each. That is when I took this game for granted. Riot brought in RGM and dominion, with the famous All for one, Urf, and Hexakill. Their first mistake was taking it away. With a game, you don’t REMOVE content which the customer liked and expect them to do so. Nowadays... No counter play 10-15 minute games No game modes You can only play meta champions No masteries and garbage runes You know I wouldn’t mind these ripoffs like eternals if the game was at least fun. I may put this part in another post, but.. Riot tries to demote toxicity while they try bringing toxic shit in like champion mastery, emotes, and eternals. Damn.

: Skill =/= mastery and vice versa. I have m5 on {{champion:164}} but I KNOW you would never want me playing her on your team in a million years. Similarly, there are people with alt accounts, smurfs, or new accounts who would have to play a LOT just to get their onetrick to a high enough mastery - or people who are basically pretty good at almost every champ but haven't put the hours in. There's also a possibility that they played that champ on the PBE. There's just too many variables for this to be a viable option.

Generally speaking, the more you play a champ, the better you'll get at it. Different people improve at different rates, and you'll always find individual cases where someone has played a champion a ton of times and still sucks on that champion. But the fact remains - there is a positive correlation between practising a champion and getting better at that champion. I can tell you with all honesty, in my ranked games, there is a VERY strong, consistent correlation between feeding teammates and lack of experience on the champion they were playing.
