But sometimes it can be cathartic to meet stupidity with stupidity. LOL. People have an entirely different problem if they care that much about the race/skin color of a character in a video game. Believe me. They are their own minority. It has to be less than 1 percent (if we are being that generous). I'll play a character if I like them. I don't give two craps if they are white, black or whatever. One of my main characters in League is a damn bear. League technically has one of the most diverse characters in popular gaming. I have yet to see anyone say like they won't play {{champion:163}} because she is brown. You need to step outside of the college campus and realize that most reasonable people aren't actually racist. Trust me. I have seen and experienced actual racism firsthand. The crap you think is bad in League is so whatever.

The crap about claiming that the only racist people are white people needs to stop. It just gives passes to racists who happen to be non-white individuals. It enables degenerate behavior in the guise of claiming, "Well, we don't have power and privilege, but we're going to say and do horrible things to (white people) because that's OK!"

Pff, that's pretty racist of you to lump together someone with a group and assume things. It's no different than you assuming any other person of a different group with their worst racial stereotype. It's hilarious people have to use mental gymnastics and blindly accuse someone of this or that.

: Might as well say goodbye to these guys:{{champion:157}} {{champion:105}} {{champion:53}} {{champion:498}} {{champion:99}}
: The most important question. What happens to Champions who are balanced but are going to get hate banned anyway to a significant percent? Sure if champion is strong or meta it's ban rate will be high while it does well and will then proceed to fall when it's nerfed or the meta shifts. However some champions are quite hated by the community. If these champions reach really high ban rates but are balanced what is the plan?
I mean, isn't it already the case at the moment with six bans? I scoffed at people when they would say, "Just ban x champ," when the current system may randomly not let you participate in the banning process altogether. The champs who often get banned will still get banned regardless. This is how I see it.
: I understand that but I would rather have the longer draft than a confusing one. Why waste someones opportunity to ban because someone on the other team banned something as well. And in that case we would have 9 bans because 2 people banned the same thing all the way to a potential 5 bans because the same reason. I feel this just really silly.
Pro teams do research about who they are playing against and carefully choose each pick/ban. Regular players, especially random strangers where you can't even see the names of who you are playing, are not on the same level. I think Riot made the right move in this case (for the most part).
Wendígo (NA)
: Bans really shouldn't be duplicated If you get a duplicate your ban is wasted and that feels bad
As opposed to the previous setup where the system would (randomly) not let you ban?
: Jail queues for toxic players
Riot is against the prisoner island thing. I think it's a wasted opportunity because it does discourage Dota players to stop being so problematic.
Davidence (EUW)
: When will the option to report players for being elo-boosted become available? (Checklist included)
I played against a booster (the person actually doing the boosting) I will never forget. This guy's Ahri was way too good for the skill bracket. I check his stats, and the guy had pretty average/below average scores and then suddenly a bunch of Ahri games out of the blue that could have given some pros a run for their money. Too sketchy. Unless you are going to tell me that guy magically went from having average KDA and below-average farm to stellar Ahri games out of the blue overnight...

He isn't good against every comp. Plain and simple.
: The issue with his ultimate is that unreliable = worthless, **by definition**. To make him viable they'll have to buff the numbers to supreme amounts, but then his ultimate *stomps* lower levels because to be reasonable you basically have to assume he never gets to use it properly without a truckload of setup.

Umm, what? Zac has always been bad against mobile champs. You are supposed to pick Zac against comps that aren't as shifty for easier slingshot shenanigans. Zac has, and always will be, a niche pick. He isn't good every game.

But again, it shouldn't even be that hard to implement. Again, I emphasize that even the minion counter (yes, the actual thing keeping track of your creep score in the corner) was not there FOR A LONG TIME. It would only be natural to add the Dragon buffs as well.

Janna is painfully easy. Who cares how a support does their job as long as they get their job done? Even if a character like {{champion:412}} had all point-click skills, you still would need to know when to use the moves at the right time.

: define "a few", because in the last game I played, my bot lane morg and lux were trolling the ENTIRE game, whenever they could ping, they did. they had to have pinged at least 200 times before the game was over. It made my jungler and my mid laner tilt and they ended up selling their items and buying tears, and I was the only one wanting to actually try. Spam pinging is a thing that really should get looked into. Too often do I see people using Enemies Missing when someone dies, and they do it 5 times, every time you die. There should be no reason why ANYONE needs to ping more than 1 or 2 times if its urgent.
Well, that is obviously excessive. My point is, I have had teammates flame me for pinging missing twice in my lane. This prompted them to "angry ping" me multiple times in my lane. Of course, they ping even more if they die to a gank even after I warned them. League is full of oversensitive players in more ways than one.
: um wat... you are totally misunderstanding you GIVE less gold to the enemy when you die multiple times ina row is what im suggesting
No. I understand exactly what you are saying. It is not necessary. You are trying to lessen the blow on particularly poor play from people who die too much, even though they should work harder to cut down their deaths.
: would decreasing the consecutive death gold reward help the bot lane problem?
No. You already lose a lot of gold, experience and map control when you die at an inconvenient time in the game.
: If there's a surrender vote and you think there's a chance of winning
I only surrender games I know that are going to be a loss. What really grinds my gears is when my teammates refuse to surrender, BUT they do not try to win. It is just wasting time. I am all for comebacks, but comebacks are earned - not given.
: Trust me, i love the warwick re-work
Counters exist in the game already. I don't know what point you are trying to make.

Because the bans and picks are divided, you will already see which roles have been filled and then you can ban/pick accordingly. I agree, but Just voicing the fact that they could be banned out to very few options, but also consider that tanks for example can be used in either support, top or jungle, mages are played support-mid-top, marksmen have been moving top lane, supports are viable top and mid (Zil and Lulu in pros especially) assassins are played mid-jungle-top, Fighters are played top and jungle mostly. so yes while roles are a bit silly to ban out, you can target multiple positions with a single ban.
The game has 130+ champs. Even if you argue viability, there will be plenty of options leftover as well as many pocket picks up the sleeves for the best players in the world to pull out. Looking at you, support {{champion:21}} from last season's world championships.

Riot really doesn't care if you paid nothing or a small fortune into your account. Think of it as an investment like a car. If you crash your car and destroy it, then that's that.
: I'm not a fan of ping spamming.
People need to get real. If someone is so sensitive to a few (tactical) pings, then they have the problem. Not you.

No one wants to read an essay within chat.
: "It is underhanded and despicable to take smite against heimerdinger'"
Using strategy in a game about using strategy? Disgusting. Next thing you're going to tell me - teamwork in a team game!
: People need to be explained how to play each position
You are talking about a player base that is full of kids (yes, kids) who would be lazy to do their homework, let alone take the time to do research or read/watch guides on how to play the game properly. That is a lot to ask. But hey, some players put in the effort to learn and improve. Kudos to them.

: Does bandit mastery feel underwhelming?
It is supposed to be subtle. You take it on supports who don't build {{item:3097}}.
: My only problem with the Warwick rework
It's counterplay to know you are being tracked, therefore prompting you to adapt. Players who don't adapt often get punished.
: Wasn't his identity meant to be a burly hunter that goes toe to toe with the biggest and most challenging monsters? Hopping on defenceless immobile squishies and preying mainly on the weak doesn't really mirror that.
Well, you could make that argument. Either way, Rengar's gameplay always revolves around his opponents being careless. A (free) kill is a kill. At the end of the day, Rengar needs to get picks or he is useless like any other assassin/hunter.
: So, All these New Posts Complaining about Ahri
I don't know what there is to complain about when it comes to Ahri. You get hit by her skill-shots so you die. If you dodge her skill-shots, then she loses out on a lot of her damage potential.
: Tell me what I'm doing wrong with Evelynn
Eve's jungle is really hard in general. Not to mention, her ganking power lies in her ability to punish enemies who don't respect her presence in the jungle. If you go against smart opponents, Eve's ganks are less effective because they will be wary of her. You just have to accept that Eve is not a champ you use every game.

No. That map is lame. It's just capturing Windmill and sitting on it every match.

I dare say that just about anything works at the lowest brackets.
: Is there ANY possible way to win lane vs Yasuo?
Are you triggering the shield with a weak attack before you commit to a damage trade/poke against him? That's something I see a lot of players don't do against Yasuo in the laning phase. If you see his Flow gauge full, hit him with an auto to get the shield to waste itself before you throw a spell his way.

: Does anyone EVER think "this guy is having a bad game" instead of "this guy sucks"?
I personally get caught up more in a person's current rank and what I EXPECT them to play like - as I do believe your rank should be a real reflection rather than being a number. If they are Platinum or higher, then I expect them to play as such. Is it wrong for me to think this way? If someone is Silver or Bronze, then I am going to assume some pretty boneheaded plays from their end. When someone on my team was apparently Diamond last season, but they play like they just installed, I am going to assume they boosted and I wish that I could report them for (apparently) boosting. And yes, everyone has bad games. Even the best of us, but I just think there should be a certain expectation when someone is sporting a certain border. Boosted animals everywhere...
