: These things aren't counters to shields. These are counters to EVERYTHING. All you're telling me is how to get a kill for anybody. You can kill someone before they heal, stun them before they have to chance to kill, one shot them before they one shot you. You can bait out a Tryndamere ult, a Janna ult, any ult. Applying more damage than it can block is not a counter. That's like saying to counter a shield you just have to hit it. Dealing more damage to the shield or dealing more damage in general as a result of that shield is a counter. A counter is something that is specifically designed to deal with specific things. Like Executioner's Calling which is specifically designed to counter healing or Quicksilver Sash which is specifically designed to combat lock down CC. Or when you counter pick Morgana to combat Blitzcrank's hook. A weakness and a counter are two different things. A weakness can be worked around when managed right. A counter cannot. You can play safe when your shield is on CD or you can trade momentarily when the shield is up, but you cannot land a hook on a Morg shield. You cannot stop BOTRK from taking percent health from you.
Those are "counterplay" to shields. You claimed they don't have counterplay. Now you're claiming they don't have a _specific counter_.

Boots can be handy. Especially Sorc's mid-late game. Ride the most fed guy on the team and your Qs and Rs do actual damage. Not worth wasting gold on just to get around though. Both items are quite good on her. Most supports have to spend mana to cash in their Grail stacks. Not Yuumi. If she has Aery or a shield from her passive then she can cash them in for her 0 mana w. And it's not like getting the stacks is difficult for her either. I like to buy redemption second because once you have grail it's worth +30 AP from Dissonance.

It's relative to the direction your ally is facing. I'm guessing Riot didn't want her using detach as a range extender for attach, ignite, autos, so they coded it where she immediately stops dashing if she gets "in front" of the ally she dashed from. This dummy faces the topside nexus, so she can't leap that way.

For sure man, she is super squish. Somebody said in another thread that the previous most squishy champs were Lux vs AD and Sona vs AP. Yuumi outdoes them both in that regard. In some ways she does function as an item. Her Q is basically Frozen Mallet once you put a few points into it. E is basically summoner spell Heal. Another thing I found that she's good at: eating Zoe bubbles in a teamfight. Basically {{item:3102}}.

Why would you be pressing W in the direction of the enemy unless you were trying to leave your ADC and walk toward them? Edit: I think I understand what you mean. Like when there are two allies nearby and you want to go from one to the other, but the second one is too far. You'd end up jumping out and walking for a second. If you're trying to move backward through the formation it'd be almost instant, but if you're trying to move up the ranks then you just wouldn't reach. Ever. In that case though, you'd just end up slowly falling behind and forced to jump back into the ally you left.

I ate a Brand ult earlier today as Yuumi while attaching to the ADC. We both took one hit before it stopped bouncing. Might only hit the ADC if she's fast enough. I doubt it though. Her Untargetable seems to be special in that it doesn't invalidate targetted attacks already en-route. Also Brand's passive damage will not tick on an untargetable Yuumi.

Took me a while to figure out that she can exit a short distance in any direction. She literally just goes wherever your cursor is if it's in range (and goes nowhere if it's not!). A range indicator would be nice if it's not going to work if you're pointing outside the range.

The only difference (and I mean the only one) is I dodge. By using op.gg and dodging because (insert reason here) i avoid (insert reason here) fucking my games. Sometimes I will troll pick or ban to force a dodge and if no one does, I will dodge. Its a big part of the game. Do you dodge? If you dont the only thing you lose is a few mins in a queue or lobby
