: Toxicity is good
I rather have a good toxic player than a bad PC/sensitive players on my team. If by toxicity maybe it is because you or someone on your team did a bad decision that is so obvious to avoid yet goes right through it because they want their KDA instead of playing smart.

: "Toxicity" from a toxic players perspective.
Totally agree there is a difference between a toxic player and just a player frustrated at losing a game because of a team member(s) (trolls, feeders, int, etc). I mean who wouldn't get mad if a teemo top player is feeding the enemy top laner?

: The real reason League will ALWAYS be toxic
Lol this isn't gonna go away nor will it improve for this toxic community. Heck this game isn't just toxic like any other game, but it actually produces toxic players. How are you gonna stop this toxicity if you keep placing okay players with trolls/badplayers/smurfs. The system is beyond broken even in rank. Especially the rank promotion which is kinda stupid when you have troll players purposely deranking you. Please complaining on a forum with a bunch of PC sjw players that would defend these bad players only to be a hypocrite on bashing down an opinion that is actually true to an extent. I mean seriously you're getting down voted for stating your own opinion by these ego eccentric PC players.
: Always get trolls, feeders in my team.
And you wonder why people flame so much in LoL, because of these people. It is always these type of bad players that force people in that game to deal with. Flaming isn't gonna improve the game nor not doing so would improve it especially with these type of players. I don't know what to say but give you the generic advice "Keep calm and move on".
: My biggest trigger is people who can't break out of the "HAVE TO WIN" mentality long enough to just have some fun -- it makes the wins AND the losses so much better when you're playing with people just happy to be playing. Absentee junglers who don't communicate is a close second though!
I think that applies mostly in normals really. In rank you got to have that mentality I mean it is competitive where you're wasting over 20 minutes in the game for a match.
: There's a difference between me making a mistake & gets flamed by the flamer, and him making a mistake but I don't bother flaming him at all. Everyone deserves to have an attitude like I do, since insulting a teammate does nothing but degrades their morale. Second, just because the Mute button exist, does not give you free rights to be an asshole in-game & make everyone uncomfortable with you. Sure I can mute you, but at the same time, I'm able to report you as well. Mute or report are NOT single-wise decision, both can be done. Mistakes happen, and calling me the n or f word is NOT going to fix it. > First off when flaming someone it helps relieve your stress Or just yell at your room. I mean since people like you don't mind the annoyance you're creating in-game, surely your mother or relatives don't mind the racket you're making anyway.
When I meant by mistakes is either you don't listen to the advice the person was saying before the flame happens. For example, when you keep getting gank/camp play safe, if you are behind on kda then farm, or when you keep venturing off solo and getting gank so easily then group up when call by someone. You are saying flaming in general shouldn't be allow and does nothing. No I don't believe flaming does nothing but gets through them if they don't listen from the previous advice that were given. If you keep doing the same mistakes over and over you are going to make it hard to play or even fun at that point because of the mistakes you made. Listen all of you are so focus on one side of how bad flaming or toxic if you want to call it that, but you don't want to believe or don't care that there are bad players who keep doing the same mistake over and over without being told to fix it. Flaming is good when necessary. If your coach keeps having to remind you to fix your stance or playstyle that results most of the time losing a game don't you think it gets pretty annoying at that point. Yea you can shrug off tiny mistakes here and there, but if they don't learn from that mistake then what you want me to do don't say anything and keep them doing the same thing for the next matches that will ruin the other teams too. This community is toxic of course by many types like flamers, feeders, and intentional bad plays. But is overshadows the other types like i mention bad players who don't learn, doesn't care to listen to the advice given to them (not flaming but just saying like "Our situation is bad we should play safe right now."), or the ones that keep making the same mistakes over and over. We need to have a balance of sportmanship and tough criticism (when necessary), because what I'm seeing with all the anti-toxic/flamers going on isn't helping the community become less toxic.
: Gold is easy. If youre gonna afk farm play champs that scale hard and can carry late. The meta right now is a gank early meta. I usually play ww and gank level 3 and 4, but if you're only trying to climb silver, you can afk farm and carry late. Just mute your team. (Afk farmers are people like Graves, Nidalee, Shyvana, Yi)
You see players with that play style most of the time get flame at. Rarely you would get a good player to do so but I mostly see that in higher elo. Even then you are risking in the factor that one of your lanes are getting push so much or if you can't be on the look out for the enemy jungle.

: Flamming isn't fun i've taken a break from LOL and was playing DOTA 2 a few days and someone was yelling hateful things at me including telling me to drink bleach... I know this is also a common flame in LOL so let me post this education video about why its so awful to tell someone to drink bleach... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcoDco8VkD4 Flamming in no way is helpful it just makes people argue or mute you or turn off chat entirely neither helps win games.
Really if you are hurt by just people typing "hurtful" words I think the flamer isn't your concern but you. I suggest the person to either find a therapist or you know have a zero fuck attitude towards the flamer. This isn't a full on fun game especially how Riot ranking systems sucks for those who are actually good have to deal with the bad players. In my opinion best they do away with the promotion system and implement something to ban (not banning the account) bad gameplay players from playing in rank so that they can practice more in normal mode. Also if you think that "Drink Bleach noob" is bad please either you are too sensitive or you were stupid enough to drink bleach to not know what would happen.

: trash riot once again wow
You see I don't know why people are so sensitive to flamers I mean they can say whatever they want. Words won't hurt you. What happen to that saying "Stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." You know why some people flame is either they are invest in the game or you are a bad player (only in rank this should apply since normals you can just mess around). Let the person flame since it is best for them to let it out. It might suck but if they flame for a reason that might be it. There is always a reason to these flames just not out of nowhere of course you get the occassional psychopath that flames for everything that is tiny. You might had been flame at or someone else because you either are getting killed so easily (play safe or farm smart to avoid further deaths), you keep getting gank so easily (suggest fighting/farming under or near turret), or you don't know your champ(s) (gotta play in normals to experiment/practice your champ(s) etc.. To the retards ummm I don't know what you meant who specific but i think it is to bad players or bad characteristic players.

You waste 20 mins and with luck you might get to surrender early (maybe most of the time they go with the stereotypical phrase "Never give up. Never surrender." Which won't help if you are 3:17 of team kills and have one lane 1st tower destroy. You might win if and rare occasion you have at least 2 other teammates that are doing well then maybe you might win with a bad(s) player on your team. Listen I know this is a team game, but this isn't a suppose to be a hold hand game you need tough love to learn most of the time to learn your mistakes. Tough love only works from a person who is respected and in an agreed position of power. From you, it isn't tough love, you are just some rando they've never met before.
Hey this is how it should be especially when in low tiers (bronze to gold). Also, from what i see on your profile you dont play rank that much to know. It is a total different mind set in rank than normals. You make a mistake, feed, or dont play safe or aggressive when it needs to be then you just lower the chance of winning. Ranking is playing competitive if you are just in rank to improve dont bother.
: And Riot has the right to respectfully disagree and ban you for flaming someone who is bad. Don't like it? Too bad. :^)
Alright I'll stand by that, but won't stop me or others from flaming when it is necessary to do so. This applies mostly in low ELO tiers (bronze to gold).

Less work for me to explain. You know it is always people downvoting this type of topic because most likely it is true. We hated it when people feed/int but dont like it when it is being brought out. Oh well. Downvotes don't equal truth. And yes, everyone hates int feeding, but flaming the person doing it does nothing. Flaming someone doing poorly does at best nothing and at worst makes them play worse.
Even if you dont flame you still have to deal with the bad player. You waste 20 mins and with luck you might get to surrender early (maybe most of the time they go with the stereotypical phrase "Never give up. Never surrender." Which won't help if you are 3:17 of team kills and have one lane 1st tower destroy. : Do you know what "int" stands for? I guess not ... And playing bad is no fucking reason to flame someone.
Mmmm it would stand for people playing bad purposely lol Also you have the right to flame someone who is bad. Don't like it to bad.
: Flaming is good
I can agree to some extent, but not flaming for tiny mistakes or for no reason to just being a dick.
: Flaming is good/bad, but why?
I may need to be more specific on difference between good and bad flame. You don't flame for no reason nor do you flame on "tiny" mistakes, but you can flame when the person is feeding so much, int at the game, or never listening to calls etc.. How are they going to learn their mistakes if no one tells them about their mistakes. They are going to keep doing what they are doing and wonder why they keep getting flame at and win so little games. And yea I know you have friends that will tell you how to improve, but you know what if you want to improve play Normal games rather than play rank. Play rank by the time you select a certain role(s) you are good at or a good amount of different champs you feel comfortable playing with.
: Ur logic was used in the 1800s...didnt turn out soo well it's old and dead
You are comparing a game to the 1800 seems logical too lol.
: So it's the fault of the victims, because they didn't played well enough?
Why you keep calling feeders and int victims? I don't think they should be consider victims.
: > [{quoted}](name=Metropolox50s,realm=NA,application-id=ZGEFLEUQ,discussion-id=JeZNgkQR,comment-id=0000000000000000,timestamp=2017-10-03T07:40:14.653+0000) > > Well most flames happen from bad decisions or mistakes. If you don't agree more power to you but if you cant see the other side ok. Perceived bad decisions or mistakes. There's a key difference. The flamer does not get to be the judge of what's a good decision or not. It isn't their job. And no, flaming someone doesn't make them open to listening to you.
I don't expect them to listen but if they do it is even better. Less work for me to explain. You know it is always people downvoting this type of topic because most likely it is true. We hated it when people feed/int but dont like it when it is being brought out. Oh well.
: Your whole point is, that the victims have to fix their playstile to prevent getting flamed further. It's funny, because the flamer could just stfu.
Well most flames happen from bad decisions or mistakes. If you don't agree more power to you but if you cant see the other side ok.
: lol so now the victim is at fault? That's some twisted logic ....
I'm saying if the person is getting flame at they could at least think why they are being flame at. Also you could just mute the flamer like I said. As victim I would argue that in some situations.
