: Zoe's W Should be reworked badly. Here is why.
My largest concern with Zoe is her Ult. She's the ONLY champion allowed to move after being hit with a Bard Ult. Nothing stops her from teleporting back except for dying.

Otherwise I'd be complaining about her W. > I just want to play a game where the rules actually apply to everyone. She is not immune to CC, practically or otherwise. She actually loses hard to CC. No, it is not "supposed to keep you from going anywhere at all". Caitlyn's snare is supposed to snare and proc her passive. We can tell this because that's how it always and consistently works, according to how the rules it follows. No, Soraka's E Or Cho W doesn't do that "Being silenced is supposed to cut off your magic" it prevents you from using abilities. That is how it works according to the rules. You can't still drop traps and throw objects. You are ignoring the rules of how the game works to complain that a champ isn't following the rules because it doesn't match your ideas which conflict with how _both_ champions work. You're not asking for rules to apply; you're asking for a singular exception and calling that consistency.
You're missing the point: Zoe can not be stopped from teleporting back. Literaly the ONLY champion that is allowed to move after being Ulted by a Bard. There's a clear problem.
: Aim at where she's coming from, not where she is. Zoe has problems, but that ain't one of them.
That's a good tip to play against Zoe. I'll give you that. And I understand how that works too. I get it. It's not hard to figure out that my CC isn't working. That's why I'm here. And Zoe "as is" can be countered a certain way. That's all nice and all- it's STILL irrelevant to my point. Although I can just skip right to her starting location and wait for her to re-emerge it still gives Zoe the benefit of being "immune" to CC while her Ultimate is in effect. I understand that if she's silenced she can't recast Q on the Ult. But she still escapes back through the portal when her movement should be hindered. Put it this way: Warwick Ults Zoe and Zoe can counter it by Ulting into the direction of WWs Ult and catching him at her "Zone B". WW will latch on and suppress her, but she will still pop out to "Zone A" while she's suppressed. And I can't stress enough how broken it is that any champion would be allowed to break out like that. And I will even thrown the frog under the bus here too: Tahm Kench should not be able to W an ally being suppressed by a WW Ult. (ally takes all the damage but is still able to relocate... it breaks the meta of CC)

The ability already has consequence because it automatically rebounds her back to her starting position. It's not even true mobility because it doesn't actually result in her being moved from A to B. It results in her visiting B, but ultimately never leaving from A.
If I play Alistar okay? If I stand on "Point A" while Zoe is at "Point B" pressing Q will not knock up Zoe.. because she's not there. She definitely leaves "Point A".

They're not separate actions specifically to prevent her from doing weird shenanigans when she presses R that would cause her to get extra range out of it, like flashing once she gets to her location, landing her Q, and then returning to her starting point. It is one, seamless action because it's supposed to be a short window of opportunity for Zoe.
And that action needs to be interrupted when she's hit with Crowd Control. There needs to be an element of consequence.
: > [{quoted}](name=Mister Modesty,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=Gnt0wZZO,comment-id=00030000,timestamp=2018-08-03T20:04:04.673+0000) > > It's timing. > Let's use Blitz and Trist. > > Unless Tristana times her W perfectly, Blitz Q will grab her right out of the sky. > Tristana literally needs to jump the same moment Blitz's Q makes contact for the jump to work. > > Alistar Headbutt versus Blitz grab is another example. > Both abilities will land- but where Alistar ends up depends on who cast first. > > And you apparently don't understand what MOBILITY is and what CROWD CONTROL is. > Crowd control > mobility. > That's what crowd control is designed to do. > > You have no idea what you're talking about tbh. I've snatched so many jumping Tristanas from mid-air I can't help but to shake my head typing this. You literally just made up some dumb shit to argue with me. I VERY MUCH understand what mobility and control are. There are many types of both. What I pointed out was that Zoe's R operates consistently _within the rules_ of other types of mobility that move a character from one point to the other. It's a fluid action, and it's "queued" so to speak, and most CC will take lower priority than the queued mobility action, which is why the CC only affects the character after their mobility ends. It's a matter of programming and event priority, not MOBILITY and CROWD CONTROL, and in terms of how it operates, it obeys the rules that other similar abilities also follow. Camille, Ezreal, and Tristana, as I said, have abilities that operate under these same rules, and in all of these scenarios, their mobility trumps any attempts at crowd control on them to an extent. If Lux or Morgana lands a root on any of these characters, their mobility spell will complete it's input BEFORE they will suffer the effects of the root. So I'm not making anything up, I'm just telling how the interactions between a good deal of mobility spells can partially ignore or not be interrupted by attempted CC. You need to become more familiar with CC and it's interactions with mobility before you start trying to tell me that I'm making up dumb shit when you clearly have not been paying attention enough to notice the patterns and rules that they follow.
I guess there's a sample bias then. Maybe Morgana's Q won't stun a Tristana in mid-air, and Tristana will be stunued upon landing. But a Blitzcrank will yank and pull a mid-air Tristana every time. Maybe "Airborne" cc affects "mobile" champions differently than other forms of CC. And still- Zoe is a flawed example of mobility because she's moving TWICE. For all intents and purposes- the first teleport and the second teleport should be separate actions.
: no, i mean Portal Jump cannot be a channel, zoe attacks, uses her q, uses her w, uses her e... all of that while Portal Jump is active, you can't perform other actions during a channel, that's what a channeled ability is. 0:
Good point. Then I guess the better option would be to make her Ultimate a "double cast". Where first cast teleports her to location, and second cast teleports her back. My issue is that when you actually break down what is going on then Zoe gets away with being practically immune to CC. No matter how you look at it- stepping on a Caitlyn snare is supposed to keep you from going anywhere at all. Getting knocked up into the air is supposed to keep you from going anywhere at all. Being silenced is supposed to cut off your magic. But these rules just don't apply to Zoe. And like I said this isn't a post about trying to make a good champion weaker. Otherwise I'd be complaining about her W. I just want to play a game where the rules actually apply to everyone.
Psyrix (NA)
: ... it’s urfault for unloading ur cc on the first part of Zoe’s ult lol, wait until she pops back to the original portal, she’s self rooted for a short while. She has no choice but to reappair at the cast point of the ult. It is NOT an actual mobility spell, it allows her to dodge some spells and increase distance but it’s still effectively a prolonged root. Ur argument about Zed’s shadow doesn’t apply as zed can decide to stay at the location, he isn’t forced back into a set location.
"forced back" What I'm proposing would actually give Zoe the option to stay. Put it this way: Soraka places her E (the silence pool). Zoe teleports on the "E" zone Zoe is silenced. The "E" zone collapses before Zoe teleports back Zoe is stunned Zoe is still allowed to travel back through her portal. Because you want to say that Zoe should keep her kit, you are literally damaging 75% of other champion's kits. When you're standing in the "E" zone of a Soraka, you are cut off from your magic. But Soraka's kit isn't allowed to work just so Zoe's can. Zoe seems to be desinged by a person who doesn't want their design to have weaknesses. It's the equivalent of making a champion that is able to shoot through Yasuo's wind wall. "Unstoppable bullet" And that's part of the champion's kit so we should just ignore the fact that it takes from the integrity of the actual game? Zoe would still be just as viable if she followed the rules.
: That's.... not how channeled abilities work.
If Ryze's Ultimate can be interrupted then so should Zoe's. idgaf about boohoo arguments. It's simple- she's allowed to function in a way that other champions are not. Games have rules, and Zoe just gets to get away with not following the rules.
: Tank changes for 8.16
How about you just return Rammus to his original state? I'm talking about "Puncturing Taunt" and not this dumb ninja-wannabe shit "Frenzying Taunt". And you asshats want to make people get pissed at me for building Phantom Dancer because you clearly want Rammus to be an assassin. Rammus was a perfect champion and you ruined him. Now you have the audacity to say it's because his W isn't potent enough? No. It's because his taunt no longer reduces damage you fucking morons. It gives him bonus Attack Speed. Awesome. Now if I want to get that mitigation and still conform to the kit theme I have to consider Phantom Dancer. Change Rammus Back
: put zoe's R in 95% of champions kit and its not even worth putting point in when lvl 6. few that would use it are things like blitz (would be op as)
That's irrelevant. ALL champions' abilities are suited to their own unique kits. That's like saying Malphite's Ultimate makes no sense on Ashe. {{sticker:zombie-brand-facepalm}}
: Zoe's R is an animation #Unstoppable BTW
wrong. Animations are like dancing. You APPEAR to be moving around but your location doesn't change. Zoe literally changes positions on the map TWICE. Not an animation, it's a function.
: This is not something that should be done, because anyone with mobility that's moving them currently from A to B will finish that action before coming under the effects of the CC if they were hit mid flight. Tristana's W, Ezreal's E, Camille's E, Zoe's R, they all treat CC the same way if they're hit in the middle of their mobility action, and this is probably one of the only things in Zoe's kit that is consistent and not in defiance of the rules of the game.
It's timing.
: Youre acting like Zoe's ultimate is more than an extension of her Q
You press "R" to use an Ultimate ability. Zoe's Ultimate may empower her Q, but it is its own ability. You're acting like it's okay to make the game mechanics completely useless just so one champion can have a viable kit. The fact that she COMPLETELY ignores CC is a real problem. Zed has "similar" blink tactics, but the key difference is when you smack Zed with a knockup he's stuck there until the CC wears off. With Zed, it's because he needs to cast the ability a second time to swap with his shadow. That's a balance. It's a good mechanic with a clear weakness. Zoe just gets to cast once and have everything take over, with nothing getting in the way. Zoe is a little bitch of a champ. I'm not begging for her to get a nerf. I'm observing a real hypocrisy in her kit design. And honestly, her whole design is pretty %%%%%%%%% if you ask me.

: for 1000 gold, everyone is gonna build these items. i also dont like the idea of benefits on wards that are down, because the fact that you have vision is the benefit. It also doesnt reward good placement, but rather that they're just placed anywhere.
Vision is not its own reward. Otherwise everyone would be spending the 350 for Spellthief's. Also, considering the item is only effective when you're within range of a bound ally then it doesn't make sense for anyone other than Support to build. You're really just one of those people that try to find the bad in everything. Based on your irrelevant arguments, it's pretty clear. - Just because something is cheap and effective, does not mean it benefits everyone. I do not buy Kircheis Shard on Alistar. - If vision was its own benefit then Teemo has every right to stand still all game. - If you think adding benefits to an item is going to cause the item to be used less efficiently, then you're probably playing in an ELO which is causing your misanthropic opinions in the first place- it's common sense to place wards efficiently despite what they're doing. Comparable to a Heimerdinger's turrets: if you want to bunch them up and fukk yourself over it's just a bad play. People are capable of using trinkets intelligently. I have a question for you. Have you played Support, and more importantly: have you played League since before Season 5 and witnessed the balancing issues around support itemization? It's a see-saw issue. I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but when I put my mind to something I can figure out a problem very well. Currently, I feel the issue with itemization is early item tilt. How each item benefits each support creates a lot of early game stacking. Alistar utilizes Relic Shield better than a Braum, although both champs really use it well- Alistar uses better runes for healing (mine does) and compare the utility of Relic Shield on Thresh to any other tank support. Compare Ancient Coin on Soraka to other utility supports. It just works better on different champs. One support item to begin with that gives everyone the same advantage would really balance these issues. Since each support is unique then the customization should happen later game after building up your starter item. Regardless of how it plays out, one standard support item to start is a great approach.

: Giving him bonus health, while keeping the W similiar seems weird to be honest.
I gave him the Health bonus in to replace his current passive, which gives him a shield equal to a % of his maximum health. Considering the shield from the passive is what gave Malphite the 3x Armor bonus, I figured it was a good trade off. I kept the W similar but tried to make it seem more like a skill a giant would use- something slow and brutal.

: A option to disable "Lock In" during Champion Select for Ranked Matches
I agree. Riot comes up with a lot of bullshit excuses for their updates. "Autofill" queues that run on for 6 minutes then slam you in a filled role- but Riot says auto-fill was supposed to **reduce queue times**. They even changed the "Auto-fill Enabled" description recently. "Lock in" is supposed to be an **AFK Check** system, but the AFK check had absolutely NO issues before Team Builder update. And then Team Builder turned into this nightmare Champ Select we have today that birthed the nonsense "Autofill" system. And now that you can only have two Rune pages (unless you bribe Riot by buying RP) a lot of pre-game lobby is spent adjusting your Runes. I'm **actively** managing my Runes in pre-game lobby. If a game program can not recognize my game activity- then I call bullshit. The program knows damn well I'm not AFK. If you select a champion before "Lock In" that champion should be auto-selected if you are busy managing OTHER aspects of your game: Rune Pages, Team strategy, Discord channels (probably the real reason because they're trying to shove lame ass Teamspeak in our faces)... Whoever downvotes your post is just kissing Riot's ass frankly. Because there is absolutely no **real** reason to have to click **Lock-In**. **tldr** Riot can tell you're not AFK anytime you're performing game functions, Lock-In isn't a necessary tool for AFK checks. **tldr 2** Riot is trolling the players by giving us reasons for game functions that don't **actually** apply.

: How I felt when a 9/0/0 {{champion:11}} with such a poor lack of statistical analysis went and tried to fight me in my jg being a 3/2/1 full armor {{champion:33}} . I SAID BOI YOU'RE OUT YOUR GOT DAMN MIND, then proceeded to run him down. Killed him until he was dead thus asserting my dominance. He was never seen in red side jungle again.
Yi destroys Rammus in a fight before the first Recall.
: {{champion:54}} Actually, I just spam Q with comet and scorch, until they either back early and come back underleveled for me to cheese, or stay and get dived and killed anyway. A lot of calculation, as to how to spend my inevitable +300g.
Ewww that's not even a healthy rune page for Malphite. Try Glacial Augment and Approach Velocity. Get Chilling Smite, and build a Randuin's.
: Gank bot lane or lose is definitely not an absolute thing and I say that with much jungle experience whether i'm farming and counterganking as {{champion:102}} or ganking like a mad man with {{champion:33}} . Each game you have to ask yourself "which lanes look gankable". I'm not just talking about which lane is pushing balls deep into tower, but which champions are occupying those lanes as well. Are those champions in question highly mobile or not? Does your ally or allies in that lane have a means to lock the enemy down if you don't? Has your ally reported their sums are down? Do you think the enemy jungler is in close proximity? How much HP does every champion involved in the gank have? To believe that you must gank a lane without factoring in all that I've mentioned above will lead to your peril. I've left my bot lane completely alone to gank more opportunistic lanes numerous games and found victory.
As a Rammus main, I can say that it's suicide even trying to gank bot unless it's a counter-gank. If you start the gank then the Support is going to land that CC and cancel your Q. And practically every ADC this Meta seems unhindered when attacking you, even with W active. And now W slows you to the point of no escape or engage. And I absolutely stay away from Bot with Rammus unless I have Flash up: that way I actually have a chance to land the taunt. And carry the rune that increases MR and Armor after using a Sum Spell and Aftershock is the only real defense Rammus has in Bot Lane. Rammus is in such a bad spot as far as his Mobility theme. I've started playing Malphite with Glacial Augment, Approach Velocity, and making sure I grab a Randuin's for good measure. It's the only thing letting me close the gap on these high-mobility kite ADCs.

You sound like the Ezreal I just reported for saying GG 2 minutes in then spammed surrender every chance he got.
: I just lose the game if I gank anything other than bot lane.
This is my issue playing Rammus. I love Rammus. But now that his Q is a channel it's suicide to try ganking Bot at all. I literally do everything I can to avoid Bot because I know damn well any Support with half a brain will drop their CC on me and the ADC will melt me for no reason. I'm Rammus and these ADCs can just chunk at my Health when my W is active- and now W slows Rammus so there's no escaping it. Bot Lane is cancer in general. And you always have these Mid-lane AP champs playing support like Brand who just got a nice steroid buff or Lux, Sona, Annie.. Vayne is literally one of the most cancer champs in game. "I'm gonna go invisible then pin your ass to a wall for a solid 3 seconds and ignore every bit of Armor you built while I melt anybody who tries ganking." The only way to counterplay Vayne is hope someone sweeps bot, sit in bush and wait for her to explode her combos before a gank. But even then it seems like she can spam-cast that Ult and escape as soon as she sees you.
: Why is it that people care so much about Morde of all damn champions? I say the same shit about any other champ and it either gets me flamed or gets no relevant traction. It's absurd.

: The honor system is to reward sportsmanlike play. Unsportsmanlike behaviour has an effect on the honor system, it's not just players clicking honor on the postgame, as demonstrated with honor level dropping. Unsportsmanlike behaviour or in-game violations also slow honor progression. For example, the last person who made a complaint like this "stuck at honor 0, even though I get tons of honors" was in reality someone who had poor chatand was violating ToS usage rules, he just was not doing anything severe enough to get a restriction. That is why that individual did not progress in the honor, he was not behaving honorably.

I know what you mean. When Honor first came out, I proposed that Riot gives us a way to track Honor progress. Honor Level, but no experience bar? I was extremely skeptical of the whole system. My reasoning was: If there's no way to see how our Honor is progressing, how do we know our Honors are worth as much as someone else's Honors? I was afraid that some players could simply get Honor 5 after playing 5 games, and there's no way to calculate the value of each Honor. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/MHvkWGE6-how-do-you-track-your-honor-progress

I once said "kys" to someone joking around, and everyone in the game knew it was a joke because the conversation we were having. I got a chat restriction for it.
: In all honesty there is no progression... Riot hopes you will make a new account to buy things again. They also don't want to give you keys. look at my post on the checkpoint update https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/1EYZUaGR-riots-messed-up-honor-system-with-the-math?comment=0002 Trolls downvoted it, but the math is there
I have too many keys. I really don't need anymore. I have 83 key frags.. and I'll be damned a capsule I didn't open.
