Awesome! I'd love to try out some different things. Perhaps a bundle of all_Tier 2 runes is in order? It'd cost about 624 IP (21x9 S, 19x9 M, 20x9 G, 28x3 Q) or so, so it doesn't even really need a discount. Just toss 'em all in a bag, so we don't need to buy them a few at a time.

As far as his "research" thematic, what are people thinking? I can see a few different directions using a stacking mechanic, using unique beings killed, damage dealt, etc. His lore states that he disintegrates to learn, so it may be interesting to also give an experience bonus each time he kills something for the first time or perhaps with diminishing returns. If it's used to indicate a power gain instead of experience, it could be confined to kills made with specific abilities or autos, the stacking could link to only a specific attack, or it could only apply extra effects to something he's already killed (decaying stacks could also represent his hunger for knowledge). This option would mean that his waveclear could potentially get faster, but not much... and if he concentrated on it, it could _stay_ faster. It could also be something between Cass & Devourer to keep it under a certain level: gaining more for champs or epic monster kills, since he's here to harvest and wants more complex beings to analyze. I don't know that sending him into the jungle to steal camps is necessary but it might set up some tension between jungler and mid unless there was something in it for the jungler (like he'd empower them somehow). Any of these could risk making him snowbally, though.

Since I recall Rioters talking about IP gains being higher for positive players, it seems like folding it into the end-game screen as part of the IP gain or mastery meter would be a good way to show folks how much IP they'd be gaining per game: eg "I need to keep my salt meter low so I get more IP" or would be a good way to show people how much they're losing out on (like how the "IP boost" shows gray when inactive).

Wow, I love this idea! I'm only a dozen champs in and it's already a little cumbersome. I was just thinking that some kind of sorting option would help quite a bit, this is that on the next level.
