Are you on one of the smallest resolutions?

The NOC stands for "Network Operations Center" They're the guys and gals who monitor all things League/Riot related in regards to servers (game and other), monitoring of performance (connected players, disconnections, servers up and down, etc), internal dbs, server deploys, patches, hotfixes, bugfixes, etc. Basically, if it's a thing that needs to have a measurement and can be watched or checked to ensure nothing's going wrong, the NOC are people who usually have access to look at that thing, see if there's a problem, then contact the powers that be in order to start triage on said problem. They also check if someone reports in that there is a problem and will see if there's actually something wrong that we're unable to catch with normal monitoring. In short, they're the eyes and ears of the monitoring systems and notification systems for Riot. The NOC is manned 24/7, so there's always at least one person keeping vigil over League and Riot platforms.

Few things: 1. Things are stabilizing 2. Our fix seems to be working and is in progress 3. It's going to take awhile to finish updating all of our game servers 4. Once that's complete it's going to take awhile to drop our game mode queue throttle back down (about - 1 minute every 5 minutes). 5. Our queue throttle is currently set around 90 minutes. 6. Things shouldn't get worse from here (knock on wood) 7. We should be able to fully remove the queue throttle tomorrow. 8. Ya'll are patient as hell That was sent during some of the worst queue times during TFT launch, evening on the 26th and through the 27th.

They were just as confused as I was, as to why I was calling them about a problem with Riot's game. They were willing to try and solve the issue, for a service charge of $80. Considering I don't have their programs, I couldn't justify taking this option. My internet is not the problem, during the disconnects Spotify, twitch and youtube all run fine in the background. My PS4 is playing Netflix fine and I can download things on my computer, but I can't keep a constant connection on League. The client works fine, I can voice/text chat, but can't even stay in a custom game 2 minutes without getting the "Attempting to Reconnect" message. In addition to removing Avast/AVG (which again, I never had) I've disabled all firewalls and virus protections I have (Windows Defender), I re-installed League, I've called my internet provider (Spectrum), and I've even wiped my entire computer clean (both apps and personal files) and when I rebooted my computer, the very first app I installed was League. Even with a fresh computer, with only League on it, I still have the same issue. I've scoured this forum for help, the only answer I see are the disable Avast/AVG or add League to exceptions. Neither of those solutions work for me. I submitted a ticket on the 10th? Got one response telling me to disable Avast/AVG or add League to exceptions (sounds familiar...) and the next was an extremely generic and almost insulting "Did you try unplugging your modem?". My latest response has my log from the HRT, hopefully that will give some information as to what is happening. Sorry for the rant, but I honestly feel like I've done _**EVERYTHING**_ I can do to solve this, while Riot is just blaming another company that their game doesn't work. Also doesn't help that I was demoted a rank from this issue when they first started to happen on Friday, and none of my friends that play are having this issue.

Art takes a lot of practice and patience, and there's a lot of places to practice drawing on commission. I think a few Art professionals have talked about how they got into their field and job, there's a lot of good information out there if you know where to look. If becoming an artist full time is what you want to become, I hope you look into what it'll take to graduate with an art degree or steps towards a job in a related field somewhere!

There's some stuff on there regarding client work, but we're not that team. Because we're not them, I don't want to talk about when or what's being addressed (since I and the rest of my team are the experts on what's being done) because we could totally be setting unrealistic expectations or timelines that may get moved one way or the other. Short version, yes we can see a large roadmap of League related development stuff. But can't really talk about what's on it sadly. I can say client performance isn't unnoticed.

: I've attempted pretty much everything on the guide, but I still get this random bug splat. I'll just be walking around nothing going on and Ziggs pops up. I can function the entire game,but if I click on Ziggs it forces me out and I have to close the bug splat window and rejoin the game. During this time I hear the opening animation of the client (when you disenchant something for BE etc.) This will also occur periodically during the loading screen when I hit 90% (every time) I just need to re log once. Sometimes I think it's because I have discord or web pages open, but sometimes it happens without anything up. Currently I have attempted to reinstall / Hextech repair. Install an new SSD which significantly improved my performance outside of league. And install more RAM despite league not needing more than 8 GBs of DDR4. I have an I5 Processor with a GTX 960. Not the best, but more than enough for League. I stay at 140 FPS and my avg ping is 29-30. Internet speed is 100 MBps If you have any idea why I still get this splat or can help I'd appreciate it.

An issue with a specific champion/event usually means corrupted files with the game (but you re-installed to a different directory?) or the driver package you're using.

If that happens, all games on it never complete and aren't stored. We track those as games that don't finish properly, and can see when the number of games starting over a set time period don't equal the games that end from the same active ids. Those, along with Ghost Games, are pretty rare occurrences. Sorry you had to run into one :(

If you're on WiFi, that's far more likely than if you're on a wired connection.

: Hey, thanks for the reply! I have several friends on campus who have their game working just fine, and my university has several competitive teams as well. I do not think that this is the case. The game works ok without the VPN after I log in, I just have to use the VPN to patch or log in. Support should be able to help you out, if you need a VPN only to log in, then there's probably a config setting or conflicting program running on that computer that's causing it. : Hey! For the last few weeks I've had major issues logging in, and I still am. When this first started, I got stuck in the loop of reverting to the previous version and updating. So, I clean reinstalled the game. When I reinstalled the game, I was still stuck in the loop, but then the game just stopped patching. I couldn't figure out why the game refused to patch, and I went for a few days without being able to play. I clean reinstalled the game on my second SSD, yet the issue still persisted. I left the client open over night, and in the morning the game had patched, but I was unable to login because the client was saying I was possibly offline. I tried every solution under the sun for this, and ended up just coinflip restarting the client over and over until it said I wasn't offline. This would take probably 7-15 minutes until the client started properly. I did this for all of last patch. My game was unable to patch on wednesday's patch, and I couldn't start the client directly from the last patch's folder, so I tried to clean reinstall the game using a VPN. The game downloaded and patched perfectly, and I was able to log in. Here's the catch, my client will only let me login on a VPN, or trying to coinflip whatever server the client connects to until I get it to work, as I said earlier. I believe the cause of this may be because I am on my University's internet, and I can not manually set my DNS: it gets automatically assigned. I have not yet found a solution besides fooling the client by using a VPN. Could I perhaps get some insight on this? PS: the HexTech support tool hardly functions and should probably be looked at eventually

You may have to reach out to Campus IT in order to get League's Ports opened/forwarded (could be a blocked port) or to get League traffic allowed through a campus firewall (which could also be blocking the game). Do you have other friends on campus that are running into the same issue?

There was a set of fixes scheduled to be rolled out on 3/5/19, but the changes submitted didn't actually pan out and fix voice for Mac. Because of that, the main bug was set back to 'Ready to Dev' (aka, people to code up a new fix) on the 5th and is still in progress. No current estimated launch window or remaining time to fix, but ready to have people work on it again. Not the best of news sadly, but it hasn't fallen off of our radar.

The script running on the DB took more processing power than expected, causing mission progress to delay. When the script ended, mission progress resumed normal processing rates. More of a 'well, we know why using multiple threads on a single DB causes primary tasks to slow down and this one caused that to slow down. As to script efficiency, in order to run multiple scripts without impacting existing services is something that we'll be looking at for that specific script in order to see why it caused impacted service.
