If you get hit by a max range Q either you weren't paying attention or your reflexes are awful. It is perhaps the third slowest moving project in the game. The slowest being Anivia stun and Nidalee spear. You have no reason to ever be hit by max range Q unless it is chain CC.

My dude if you're coming to the forums to complain about Ivern then I'm not sure League is the game for you. Ivern does basically zero damage. He is literally nothing but utility, and utility really isn't even that amazing.

Few things.. 1.) Morgana is not overpowered whatsoever. There are a lot of bad players who don't knwo how to counter play things, but she is not OP. 2.) Her ult is good if you know how to use it correctly. Stand on top your adc. Ult when your adc gets dove. This puts enemies on a clock. They either kill your ADC before the tether stuns them or they will die to all the follow up CC.

Nobody has ever argued that you can't climb over a large sample size of games. People have argued that it is a grind because many individual games are completely out of your control. Many people are ranked incorrectly. Some are temporarily ranked too low and some are temporarily ranked too high. It is entirely possible to be a platinum player and be stuck in gold for a lot of games. it is possible to be a gold player and stuck in silver for quite a few games. It is possible to be a diamond player and be stuck in plat. Nobody is arguing that diamond players can't carry bronze games. People are arguing that the climb takes longer than it should and that it's a grind. People lose interest and give up because it isn't fun. I've been to plat 2 promos like 7 times this season back to back. I'd hard stomp games going like 14/0 and then I'd get to promos only to have some kid afk or rage. It's insane. If I kept grinding I'd get my plat 2. Hell I'd probably get mid diamond or so. But the entire fun has been sucked out of the game for me by these individuals. Can you imagine going into a plat 1/diamond 4 mmr game and having an adc on your team who goes 0/18? Then he flames you . You look him up and you see he diamond 1 last season and is plat 2 currently. Can you say bought account? I've had 0/14 adcs, jungles, and tops who were last season diamond. I've had kids afk because they got ganked by jungles. I've had people out damaged by soraka support. It's stupid. Even queuing for ranked on my main makes me physically ill. I feel my stomach churn at the thought of playing on it. The games are fucking cancer.

It's all about skill differential. It is entirely possible to be challenger/GM and carry through plat. It is another thing entirely to be mid to low diamond in skill and carry in plat. IT's going to require more games to climb because the skill differential is less. For example, on my one trick, in platinum, I average less than 3 deaths per game, a 5+kda, 7-8 cs a minute, and I out perform Morgana players in all elos in all metrics except for own deaths (I die less than half as much as the average Morgana). Yet the games are coinflippy for me. Can I climb to diamond? Sure, but it's going to take me a long time to do it. You see this a lot in challenger smurfs. They'll rocket through the ladder and then stall out in high diamond because the skill differential is less. Tyler1 for example is a top 5 challenger player. The guy is a beast. He was hard stuck diamond earlier this season during his bet with Yassuo. People are complaining because if you're better than people in your elo you should climb faster. It's frustrating for me, for example, to go 5/0 in lane every game, have good roams, and good macro level play, but lose because people who were last season diamond go 0/15 in my games. But I'm not saying it's impossible to climb. Just that it's a grind and it's incredibly unfun.

There's 4 other players on your team. Unless you're playing several divisions above your skill you will need your teammate's help. For example, a diamond player can carry easily from Iron-Gold. They're going to coin flip a lot more in platinum. A challenger player is going to carry from Iron-Platinum. They're going to coinflip a lot more in diamond. Skill really only matters in the case of extreme differences.

Everyone is basically shifted up a tier. Everyone I knew who was plat 3 is now Diamond 3. Everyone who was plat 4 is now diamond 4. (Except me because I have the worst mental of any player in the world.) Gold is the new silver. Plat is the new gold. Silver is the new bronze. You can feel it when you play in these elos. The players are atrocious.

I play mages mid lane. I average less than 3 deaths per game in every elo from iron to diamond. Are all mages broken and bull shit? My League of Graphs shows that I average less than one death per game during laning phase. Should we also gut all mages?

Morgana isn't really a support anymore either. Her WR as a support has plummeted and most challenger support mains seem to say she's garbage tier beyond a counter pick. This seems fine to me. She was originally released as a mid and she, along with all the other mages, are strong in mid lane right now. Tahm probably had a less well-defined initial role, and while he may have been a support pick in the LCS or high level play, he was generally not picked at all. Now he is the terror of top lane. I think it's healthy that he gets to finally be good at something and be picked. Honestly, Riot needs to give up on the LCS. It is destroying League. The decision to make stopwatch timers longer, and remove Tahm's ability to eat an ally, and nerfing black shield, are all indicative of Riot wanting people to get kills in laning phase. Unfortunately, this turns League of legends into more of a brawl than a strategy game. I find it quite annoying. I'm perfectly content going into my lane and farming minions, strategically warding, and rotating to objectives and gank. I don't see the need to make sure that burst assassins and dive champions excel at killing people. Dive should be a risky strategy. Right now it seems to be the only strategy that Riot games wants to allow. It's disappointing.

I realize there are strong champions and there will always be a meta, but I've never encountered a champion that was "unbeatable". The majority of the time I've lost games to things like release Akali and Irelia is because teammates were incompetent. Stupid things like having teammates not fall back from tower during 4 man roams, or respecting missing pings lose a lot of games. It is entirely possible to play smart and not hyper feed these "broken" champions and a lot of times all that was necessary was better macro level play. But I suppose you could argue that forcing people to just play smarter in lower elos to compensate for the abilities of certain champions is overpowered. There are quite a few champions in the game I would deem broken because they alter the way the game is played to a massive degree, but not necessarily because their kits themselves are going to one shot you or something. Consider: * Talon - Conventional warding doesn't work. Massively alters how laners and junglers must play due this mobility and kill pressure. * Zoe - Picks up summoner spells and has spells that interact with terrain differently than any other champion * Akali - Used to be able to ignore towers and has ridiculous mobility. * Evelyn - True invisibility on the map. Wards don't work. The list goes on. But they all have the same thing in common: they ignore the conventional rules of the game like towers=safety. The problem then becomes do you ban these actually "broken" champions because they have such game altering abilities or do you ban the currently strong meta champions because they have the raw numbers to be excessively hard to beat? I don't know.

I'll pop off nearly every game as a support, but the 10/0 mid, jungle, or top on the enemy team will just one shot me and it doesn't matter. It's very frustrating because it is entirely possible to consistently play well and lose simply because your team is too heavy to carry now. Played a game last night with a 3/17 Jhin adc who built zzrot portal. I was 15/4/16 or something similar. Literally everyone on the enemy team could just one shot us. One person feeding their ass off is enough to destroy a game even if your team is, on average, better than the enemy team.

You need to capitalize on the weaknesses of silver players while not making the same mistake they do. * They don't ward well. Pick a support that roams well. Blitz, Thresh, Morgana, Bard, Nautilus, Pyke. * They can't dodge skill shots. See above * They don't know how to use kills to lead to objectives. If at any point you get a kill you need to ask yourself, "What can we do with this?" Almost always backing to spend gold is the wrong answer. Instead you can roam, take dragon, go place a deep ward. * They don't know their limits/kill pressure. Use this to your advantage. Know what duels/teamfights you can win. Know the limits of your own character. For example, as a Morgana one trick I know exactly what items I need to fight and kill which champions and how I need to play the teamfight/duel. Morgana is honestly an excellent champion for this. Her kit has quite a few dueling abilities. Other mages will work too though. Consider Zyra, Brand, Xerath, Velkoz is a fucking monster. Honestly, I don't know how Velkoz hasn't been nerfed. He has like a 55% win rate mid and does absurd levels of damage. Feel free to add me if you have any questions or anything. I'm not high elo or anything, but I've managed to make it to high plat the last few seasons. My main is Morgana Deus. This is my smurf.

My argument is that unless the game is challenger this situation almost never exists. The matchmaking in this game is ATROCIOUS. Every single game I've played from iron to diamond is not evenly matched. One team gets blown away completely every game. If your bot lane is 0/15 does it really matter if they went 0/15 versus Vayne or 0/15 versus Ashe? I guess Ashe is easier to kill, but it depends on the support. And that's not even my point. If we examined a specific game where somebody went 0/15 against Vayne bot lane I would bet you it had nothing to do with Vayne and everything to do with little shit like overstaying in lane, pushing out too far, not having good enough vision, not respecting power/level spikes, not tracking summoner spells and so forth. There are certainly unbalanced champions. I'm just not convinced they matter much in low elo games.

There are incorrectly ranked players all throughout the ladder. There are a lot of people who got very lucky early on in the season and managed to climb up about a tier higher than they actually belong. This has lead to a massive reduction in the quality of games. On my own flist I have: * 7 people who I've played with since season 2 who were platinum with me. They're now mid diamond. They haven't improved as players. * A friend who was gold 1 and was masters this season. * Plat 2 friend who is currently diamond 1 * Several silver friends who are now high gold. I've been platinum/gold every season since season 1. Platinum and gold do not feel like platinum and gold anymore. Gold players int their asses off. It's basically the new bronze/silver. Platinum is just full of shit heads who are bad at the game, but they don't really hard int . They die twice in lane, blame the jungler, and afk. So you know, basically season 1-8 platinum but with the skill of silvers.

I've played every season since season 1. I've always just gotten gold and quit. I've never once encountered a champion so broken I couldn't do that unless it was banned every game. The player base whines too much.

Not really. I liked her identity as an angel more and her old voice/splash arts. She needed a model update, but they didn't need to make her into a teenage emo girl. It's fine though. She'll always be my one trick.

Clearly you didn't play this game when Darius was released, or Vi, or the days when picking Kayle was pretty much a guaranteed win with her almost 60% win rate. Then we have the days when champions could animation cancel and teleport back to base, the days when Xerath could fire his Q on the entire map, there have been **MANY** times when Riot has had champions and bugs which have made the game almost impossible to play.
I played very casually since season 1. I'd get gold and then call it for the season. I don't remember champion balance ever being an issue for me. I'd still climb. Sure would be some games where somebody was ahead on something stupid like crit nasus, but that wasn't an every game thing. These days I hover in plat/diamond mmr in ranked and balance still doesn't seem to be an issue for me. I guess I just don't see the issues others do. /shrug.
: Why do games begin while people don't connect?
This is super easy to fix. Leave everything as it is, but if you load into summoner's rift and somebody isn't connected by the 1:00 mark the game should automatically end. The person who didn't connect should received a dodge penalty. -3 or -10 lp depending. Right now the person who doesn't connect either: 1. connects late and screws up his team's early game, sometimes beyond repair. 2. Doesn't connect and gets a leaver, -lp for a loss, and everyone wastes like 10 minutes of their life. It doesn't make sense. I'd even argue that that if somebody loads in, but doesn't make it out of the base by a certain mark then the same thing applies. I've had many games where somebody loads in, buys items, leaves the platform, dc/s and we don't get to remake. Like why is remake even a vote? Do you think people are gonna be like, "OH FUCK YES A 4V5 IN MY RANKED GAME." No. Wtf?
