: The New Blue essence system is terrible
You know what feels bad man? Having 2 mastery 6 tokens for a champion and being unable to up your mastery because it would cost like 6 levels/40 hours to do.
: I'm actually ok with the new blue essence system. Costs for players do seem to have increased, but I also understand that Riot is company that is trying to increase their profit margins. By increasing revenue they give all of us more content. Which I think is good in the long run, it'll bee painful in the short term though. My only complaint really is that I already have all of the champions and that there isn't really anything in the store that I want. I spent money to buy rune pages once upon a time and I would have liked to be able to have the ability to purchase more skins and emotes even if was just a one time deal. I also think player don't realize just how much work, time, and resources, go into reworking any single aspect of the game.

I used to LOVE riots business model, because everything needed to play the game was fairly obtainable without money. The major source of income came from cosmetics and that is great. That is why the game grew such a playerbase, it's because players could PLAY for free. But if you basically have to spend money just to stay competitive, ie. get heroes... then the game just becomes a PAY to PLAY. It becomes no better than hearthstone and essentially loses all the charm it once had. There is a difference between making money and being greedy. Greed ultimately loses to losing money. If they don't fix this, they WILL lose player base, and thus profits. It's only a matter of time.

And I've been playing this game since early BETA. I can say I honestly always loved Riots business model. I thought the champions were reasonable to get and I appreciated that no major part of the game cost money. I eventually took a 2 year break, and when I came back to the game I was pleased to find they even made skins accessible without paying money, through mastery capsules and orange essence. I thought that was marvelous. But this to me is incredibly frustrating. It seems like such a bad business move to do this. They are going to frustrate their player base in a matter that DOES effect the game. If you can't get the champions, you can't play. And that is going to seriously upset people. I know they are doing this as a means to boost profits, but if the main way they get money is through cosmetic value and skin sales, then if they segregate their player base... which I feel this will do, they will overall end up losing money. I don't know who the designer of this new plan was, but they should go back to business school because they are going to lose money overall. Less players = less skin purchases Making it more challenging to play the game (pay to play) = less players

So at 100 to 300 exp a round it takes anywhere from 10 to 25 games for 1 level. Seeing as I will need probably at least levels to get a hero, we are talking about 50 to 125 games per hero. Not including 1st game quest because you can only do that once a day.

: Honestly, I want to see were they take some champions such as Eve and Mord. But as well see what kind of quality the lore they are release is, frankly if we have to wait about a couple months to get lore as good as the new Ammumu lore, then I would gladly wait. I actually have a high regard for Riot but sometimes they make decisions that well aren't favorable by many. I've come to expect to have to wait for things to be complete, I mean you can't rush perfection right? {{item:2050}} at u {{champion:112}}
RIght :-), and I mean, it's just so cool to watch it as it happens. I am kind of curious how it is each nation has such a dualistic battle on their own front whilst their remains this separation all across the continent. Shurima/voidborn. Noxus/Demacia. The Frejlord/watchers. The other two, haha. But the lack of allegiance between all the "light" sides is curious to me. But I guess they all have their hands full :-)
: the thing is LoL lore is as consistent as Keyori's upload schedule. Burn aside, Lore needs some updates
