No one wants to play the long game - everyone is just up for the first 30 or so then they get bored and start whining and afking, when in reality, assuming your team is actually slightly competent, you still have a CHANCE of winning. Even Pro teams get romped once in a while, but the kill count doesn't always equate to victory.

I was the Shyvana - and I'll be the first to tell you we could have very easily lost that game, but the other team got discouraged because "Shyvana too fed". Shyvana can't 1 v 5 at 10 minutes, and can only be one place at a time.

The fact that they've managed to keep the OG 40 relevant and playable is amazing given how long the game has been around. And given how long it's been around, none of the originals have been retired, just reworked to bring them in-line with the more modern champions. Not to mention a few of the originals still have their original kits (but you still suck Garen).
As to the new map modifications, it's no different than when they added jungle plants, elemental drakes, and reworked rift herald. It's something new to change the landscape a bit and give players something new to play around so the game doesn't get stale.

MMR also takes into account performance in ARAMs oddly enough. My MMR is around Silver 2 because of ARAMs but I'm Probably a solid Bronze rank wise (if I bothered to get out of ARAMS, that is).

I didn't mean a huge bonus, like a single point per match or something. Either that or make the reward being able to spend points for the appropriate skins for your team, and maybe make the first one really cheap? Dunno how they'd play it, just a suggestion.

Nexus Blitz: All Champs Unlocked
The shields are too OP (they practically guarantee a tower if not two), but sudden death is a nice twist. Prefer the level 3 start though - with no cs in lane 3/4 of the champs can't build fast enough to compete.

Rammus, Hecarim, Master Yi, Singed, Nami, Sona, Zilean, Azir, Pyke, Warwick - First to complete a lap around SR wins, roller derby style with attacks allowed. Everyone starts at level 18 with 100,000 gold. 15 sec hold in base before a sound and notice announces race starts to purchase items.

Umm...which champion are you referring to, because last I checked it tends to be the other way around?
See Quinn, Varus, Jhin, Leona, Thresh, Teemo, Nautilus, Urgot ... all bottom laners who can and do play top. Only one I can really think of is Sion support, but that's not unusual given the recent tank buffs that have happened. If you remember, Amumu used to be a support, Nunu, Syndra, Orianna...most moving tends to be LEAVING bot lane for elsewhere rather than shifting down (unless you're talking about mages like Morgana, Zyra, Lux.............).

I'd like to see it become a lethality item so that Akali, Talon, Evelynn, Rengar, Kha'zix, ... wait. There aren't any divers who can't dive, one shot a champ in like 2 seconds, then get out without dying.
I think the best thing to do would be to give it the exact same stats as ZZ'rot. Imagine an entire team with Ohmwrecker's inside your base, and you have NO turrets to hide behind for 3 seconds. That's a long three seconds - the same amount of time as Morgana's never ending stun.

I just want them to put the prices back or give supports a way to get a refillable potion at the start of the game. I used to take it on SO many supports for the extra burn and mana regen and now it's not worth buying after you've forced me to start with 2 potions. The 500 gold is better spent upgrading my support item than buying the corrupting potion.

Re-tune all of the support items to be a bit more customizable - start with the base trinket {{item:3301}} {{item:3302}} {{item:3303}} then, similar to Ornn's passive, allow them to craft variants:
any base + {{item:1028}} + {{item:1006}} adds 200 health, 50% health regen, and unlocks ward completion quest
any base + {{item:1001}} + {{item:1006}} + {{item:1004}} adds 30 move speed, 50% health regen, 50% mana regen, plus ward completion quest
(spellthief/coin only) base + {{item:1027}} + {{item:1004}} adds 200 mana, 50% mana regen and 30 AP (total 40) plus ward completion quest
(spellthief/relic only) base + {{item:1029}} + {{item:1033}} adds 30 armor and 30 MR, plus ward completion quest
(relic/coin only) base + {{item:1036}} + {{item:1036}} adds 40 dmg and 10 lethality
Etc. There are a lot of ways to make it better for support items, these are just some ideas. I'd love to see a recipe crafting system put into place at some point *hint hint wink wink*

Technically speaking, if you're good enough with any champion they can be played in any role. Technically. Wouldn't really want to try to jungle with Sona or Bot with Darius, but it can be done with the right team comps and skill level.
That said, I would find 3 or 4 champs you enjoy playing and whose kits you understand, and get good with those. Preferably ones that fit in similar enough roles that you can queue something besides fill and then dodge when your one champs for that role gets banned :)

I guess what I was thinking was more along the lines of an individual augments page for each champ but only 6 slots like in Odyssey for more customization options. Maybe make items straight stat objects and remove passives to help balance? As far as consistency goes, the same problem is already in the current system with the different mastery/rune pages available. One game you could be up against a Hail of Blades APC Ziggs, the next a Comet Ziggs mid, or even a Spellbook Ziggs.

That's the wiki? Regardless, it STILL works really well. I tried it out last night and even if Essence Flare never fired, it still makes him hurt. He needs the mana regen and damage anyhow, and the regen stacks nicely with his hammer's W passive. Seems really stupid that it wouldn't go off on those champs though........

Technically if you're trolling the boards (as in skimming, not the other one), you're not really avoiding League :p Point taken, but a boycott of X isn't going to affect Riot much, in a game that has MILLIONS of players. Hell, I bought skins yesterday because I enjoy playing, and I specifically don't do much ranked because I want to KEEP enjoying it. I realize that at nearly 40 I most likely won't be breaking into e-sports any time soon unless Imaqtpie lets me support for him or something. But if you and Colin Kaepernick want to sacrifice to prove a point, more power to you. GL, HF?

There are a bunch of ways to make Urgot 'work', the problem isn't with all of these tanks, it's with the burst damage everyone else can put out and still be super mobile before you can build any tank or sacrifice damage for tank early and STILL get shredded by lethality or AP.
Generally good Urgot build is the recommended, but having played Urgot successfully on (rare) occassion, the best builds I've found so far are adaptive:

Yes and no. Skillshot to land it, but so long as they are in range when they go below threshold, he can instakill them. Which, let's be real, ends up being like 400 dmg, so not as outlandish as some ults, but it does get to be unavoidable to compensate.

IMHO, I think his W was one of the few things about his kit that I liked. It went through minions and ONLY hit champs. I think he is currently the only one who can do that on a non-ult button and not be an AoE attack.

I agree. Also, It's too snowbally. Someone in one of my games compared it to ARAM with a jungle and it makes sense - you can't farm unless you're in the jungle, so you NEED to be snowbally or you'll just get your arse handed to you.
Thoughts so far:
- Make the base cannon permanent. More people launch themselves into bad situations than good ones that I've seen and it's fun.
- Shrink the top of the map a bit. It LOOKS like there should be three lanes (there IS a tower up there) but there isn't. Tried spawning Herald pretty much on top of the top tower and it went mid. Also no minions attack that tower.
- Start the game like ARAM - 1400 gold and level 3. Gives more of a chance to people who don't build situationally a bit of a chance to come back (If they can rebuild in like 2 minutes). Otherwise you'll need to do something about gold generation so anyone who isn't getting a ton of kills has an option to buy items to stay mildly relevant, or find a way to make the lanes more 'farmable'. There are a LOT of gaps and tiny bushes to try to stay safe near, especially since right now everyone is basically playing as roving bands rather than laning.
- Stick to one or maybe two types of events for the sake of clarity. The shrinking fire is nice but I respawned into the ring and died before I could leave base. (Also, instead of execute it just says you killed yourself). The Teemo loot thing is fun unless there's a Teemo on one team - opposing team sees it and runs rather than fight it. The 'contest a point' is probably the best IMO, but needs to be displayed better on the map and be a bit bigger, otherwise you'll need to ban AoE master's like Veigar or Brand or just hand out free kills.
- It doesn't match the stated intent of two lanes with a jungle - more free for all and whichever jungle team is taking camps instead of team fighting loses (which only happens for the first 2 minutes anyhow before they both have life steal and attack speed).
- Would probably work better as a 4 v 4 (2 jungle 2 lane) or 6 v 6 ( 2 jungle 4 lane (2 per lane)).
- Overall I think it would be better as a format for class types - all tanks or something (Godzilla King of All Monsters comes to mind). That may make it too much like Ascension though. Maybe this is your 'Battle Royale' ... All players vote for a role and all chosen champs have to be categorized as that role to be used. Synced up with the new ranked roll out that could be nice. Otherwise, it should have:
- BANS. Each player gets one ban, alternating between teams, but leave it blind so you don't limit selection.
- The items/itemization options here are better than SR. Move them all back please. More diversity in build paths makes games more interesting.

So these are the champions you're picking or banning, right? Give it a patch or two and it'll swing to other champs.
And FYI, ANYTHING snowballs against a poorly played ANYTHING in lane. Better (to me at least) and more logical than a "David vs. Goliath" scenario, where a cgampion with no items can beat a champion with 6 (barring skill level difference - I'm sure if any pro gave me a 6 item head start they'd probably win 4 out of 5 trades if not all).
