I have purposely eaten hits on champs such as rakan, naut, malph, etc just so I can proc the healing off of second wind and still get my shield back and come out with more hp than going in before I ate the hit. I actually preferred the Ardent Meta over this hook utility meta with a 100-0 in .5 sec rofl stomp.

I hate calling him an "assassin support" he isn't a support he's an assassin that was just made to be played in bot. There is not anything really support worthy about him except the gold he gives which probably your adc or any other teammate was going to get anyways before pyke just KSed it with his insane ult execute refresh. The only other time he's supporting is when he's proccing his relic, but tbh his kit is made selfishly for feeding him. It's why he's seeing mid / top lane play again.

She's banned because everyone enjoys a cheese botlane with pyke, blitz, or thresh picks making it easy to feed their adc. These hook picks don't like any counter engage champs or champs that do a good job helping provide safety for their adc. She's hardly ban worthy and her CDs are already extremely long early game with her Black Shield being nerfed a while back to where she might get 1 shield for every 2-3 hooks thrown. Her W damage is minut and easy to step out of. Her Q is all she has going for her early and even that is easy to dodge.

He literally abuses the living heck out of aftershock and can easily win trades and gets a lot of free ap dmg for a tank. He was meant to be played in top lane and him finding his way into bot has made him a nightmare to fight as a hook sup. A click target knockup ult synergizes way too well in this meta with KaiSa being able to take full advantage of his kit.

The point is that this is allowed AT ALL. Regardless of what team that player is on, that should not be an option for someone to give out FB and then afk so that their team is allowed to remake with no real consequences. Similar to how biscuits will prevent remakes for people who are clearly afk or dced at the game start but since a biscuit appears in their inventory while they are in base dced, it removes the option to remake. There are clearly some things that need to be fixed and looked into.
: Let's Talk Hook Supports
The biggest offender is they are hooking people while abusing aftershock and tanking everything after pulling someone in. It's such a stupid mastery that offers them dmg on top of their already tanky base stats with a pull. Add that to someone like pyke who just hooks and leaps on you to proc his aftershock + stun, and then whoop whoops away to heal up any dmg he might have possibly taken ( and ignite? forget it, his gray health simply just heals a little slower ) Naut does crazy dmg early just by walking around you after hooking you. He can easily 1v1 any adc he pulls into himself. Blitz? Sure you might be able to hide or dodge, but his stupid hitbox is so misleading along with thresh it's still mindblowing how many videos have been uploaded to show how busted these champs hitboxes are and nothing has still been done about it. They also benefit greatly from abusing aftershock. Leona? She has a lot of early game dmg and her being able to clear wards almost instantly if they are set in botlane near her is pretty crazy. She can easily deny vision by resetting her auto when a ward is placed close. She has 3 hard ccs in her kit ( her ult if she smacks you right in the middle ) and she is also very tanky early with aftershock. She can also CC through waves of minions. All these champs should be poked out by enchanters but not many supports are able to get close enough without worry about getting all ined. If an enchanter or squish missteps at all, they are not walking away they are dying. If these tank supports misstep, they have time to respond or their ADC does. Plus the tanks and any other melee range support is given sustain in lane anyways thanks to relic shield still giving a good amount of healing. Enchanters have been nerfed constantly and any utility items they are given have been nerfed numerous times as well. Enchanters are blamed for abusing things like ardent, but that wasn't the fault of the enchanters. It was strictly how stupid champs are now that can compensate on top of the healing an enchanter does. ( most champs now have some sort of blink or reset in their kits that allow them time to reposition if caught out ) Yet there are cheap items an adc or tank can rush to reduce healing in lane from an enchater / adc and not have it hinder them. Early pen items? Dirk. but hardly any adc will build that as a first go to or at all. Mpen? Forget it, at best we get sorc boots early. There isn't much we can do to counter the tanks besides hope that the tanks themselves misplay. That's not really a counter than is it. When you look over the Resolve tree you will find the tree even awards you if youre poked a little. You have things like Second wind which lets you heal after taking a little dmg or even the abiltiy to reduce followup dmg for the next 3 attacks. I have purposely eaten hits on champs that have passive shields just to lose the shield but to proc the healing of second wind so I get more hp back in return. Then walk away to reset the shield. That's just stupid lol.

It's hard to justify any NEW champ released with "high skill cap" when you give them every single thing possible to overload their kit which forgives them for not needing to learn to reach that "high skill cap" to be decent at their champ.

Tank meta actually felt good. The reason people cried about tanks was because most the low ELO players have no clue how to build pen or buy Exe / morello if an enemy has healing in their kit. It's actually sad that we have this stupid who can blow their kit the fastest in .5sec to kill someone and think it way more fun.

I just had this happen to me. I relogged and then selected my champ only to find it locked my summoners into jg role when it qued me as a support. I couldn't take smite off. I quickly logged out again after hoping to still be put into the matchmaking lobby with the champ I selected and able to change summoners. Instead it gave me a "dodge" and stripped me of some LP and gave me an afk penalty. This season has been exceptionally terrible for the amount of money they are pulling in from prestige skins + events. A client being this buggy on live should not even be a thing.

It's obvious a lot of people are losing interest. They are trying to bait players into even watching LCS by adding events and avatars you obtain by "participating" in watching matches. Years ago riot NEVER had to do this. The game had diversity and fun to it. Now it's boring to watch the same champ picks over and over again. Everyone has some form of %hp dmg, true dmg, or w.e gimmick + a ton of mobility to forgive any bad plays made.

Riot claims they don't want to induce toxicity and stress on people but then you have promos to play through after fighting to climb already? Kayle was riots star girl and I feel Judgement would have been the best skin to give out over people wanting Silver back.

That's Evelynns job and even Eves look is more Succubus then Morgs. Kayle parades herself around like shes gods greatest gift to the world and anyone who doesn't agree she smites out of existence.

Thing is these girls knew they weren't even on par with the pros and still wanted to play for glory. It's their fault for signing on knowing they were not truly deserving of being in the pros, riots fault for making them a joke, and the managers fault for knowing what he was doing and still okay with it. This is not the way you bring "equality" into the game. If you want to build respect then you start by finding people who work hard and reach the same skill cap as pros do. What riot did was allow shaming of these girls and the manager put them on the team because and i'll be blunt... they had the "goods." This was not done out of fairness and acknowledgement of hard work of a player. This was strictly done as a PR stunt and backfired, however these girls knew what they were getting into. They KNEW they were not even on the same level. Blame goes all the way around on this. Also there was no rule set about banning out 5 of 1 type of role. To be honest, game is heavily determined by botlane and I found all those support bans to be valid because they are pretty meta supports with good peel / safety. The idea is to try to win the game and if you throw people off their norms by banning out their normal picks, why is that a problem? It's strategy. Faker is good with zed, and people ban him. Target banning has always been okay, why is this any different. The ONLY reason Riot is making a stench over this is BECAUSE it's girls it happened to.

It's like an achievement if you survive 3 hits, can't wait to see the buff they are giving the other adcs. Going to be so fun to see them buff this class, then buff assassins again to compensate, rinse and repeat. Honestly, can our next champ just be called "Sir 1shot" and he just insta kills anyone who crosses his path. Come on riot youre getting close as it is. Make sure to add on 1-2 passives per skill as well and also make his base passive something like infinite dashes. No one deserves to survive in this game.

The dev team doesn't want people just ganking the entire time... so they punished assassins by forcing them to get kills and rewarding farming jgers for farming while assassins simply had to clear a little and gank gank gank. Then the dev team said... no... we want people to be more involved and gank so lets just push them outta being any form of a farming JGer. There is VERY few farming jgers who get away with farming now and now the jg has stagnated once again. Basically the balance team has no clue what they are doing... as it's been shown again and I guess they rather people just pick 2 supports in game and got 2 1 2, because at this point JG is not even worth the dang time and it seems the dev team is trying really hard to just dumpster anyone who likes jging while guising it as "balancing"

True damage shouldn't even be a thing. We already have pen items, crit, %hp, and lethality. Wth do we keep adding more and more gimmicks to the game when the developers already admitted to having a big issue balancing things like crit. Make so much sense to add in even more ways to access free damage gimmicks right? The game just needs to have pen items. There doesn't need to be all these things like %hp, true dmg, etc. Pick one type of "pen" and focus on it. Stop adding in a ton of stupid ways to burn people down faster in a game that is already starting to feel more like a press your "R" to win condition.
: Ghostcrawler balances the game around pro-play, and does a horrendous job at it.
I think it's a bit obvious how messed up the pro scene is just by watching Faker playing. He used to be top of the top with his skill cap champs like Zed. Yes Zed, because to master him on the level Faker played him took a ton of skill. He predicted outcomes on the spot and reacted as necessary. Now if you look at LCS it doesn't require nearly as much skill. If you go back through the years and watch older videos you will find that the games required more skill to play and itemization was more diverse then what there is now. More champs required Skill Shots and didn't have access to blinks / dashes. They were forced to commit instead of being able to escape easily. There was punishment for mistakes and rewards for playing well. There was a bigger diversity in champion roster being used then the same mainstream 10 champs now. There was joy in the surprise pick of seeing a champion such as Gragas joining the fray instead of seeing a Lee Sin picked. What has made this game stale is how much Riot pushes certain champs out of the game. Kayle was seeing competitive play for a little bit and they nerfed her and removed her steroid on her Q. Meanwhile you see certain champs getting a lot of favored love for the LCS because they are "flashy" like Lee Sin or Thresh. Riot allows these champs to continue for years at a time in the cycle and even buffs some of them once they fall out of favor. This is stagnating the pool and pro scene. It's not rewarding actual players for being skill based. Now it feels like those who can be pro are the ones who join a game house or spend endless hours just grinding away LP. Don't get me wrong, there are good players who deserve challenger for sure. However I feel like the quality needed to get to challenger has dropped. This is just because I see a lot more mistakes being made now days with players in challenger then I did see before. But ofc now that everything has a blink it feels like, the player is easily forgiven by pressing their "get out of jail free" card.

I'm almost to honor 5 but the amount of time it takes this season to build up honor is a joke. I usually get 2-3 honors a game from my team for helping to make plays and its taken months to climb. I started off this season at honor 2 because I was honor 5 last season. I feel bad for players trying to climb their way back. The honor system feels like a joke this season, especially since you still can't honor opponents.
: Give us one free dodge in our promos
There should be room for 1 dodge during promos. I have no clue how many times I've seen players outright admit they were going to troll a person in promos. OFC you can screenshot that and send it to support, it doesn't stop being forced into a match to lose or having to dodge to lose.

I usually just ban him because bot lane makes it much easier for him to stack because there is 2 players down there vs just laning against him mid. I do think he is actually pretty easy to play against if you pick something like Nami, Morg, Ori, Soraka, Karma, etc. Counter his poke with heal or your own poke. The thing is he forces you to play more passively at times but once you learn his CDs and get boots I find he isn't much of an issue if he can't land his AOE. You could also go Veig into him for bot.
: Unpopular Popular Opinion: One of riot's being mistakes was reworking Guardian's Angel
The "AP get Zhonyas" is laughable. ADs get Hex which doesn't rely on the user having to even touch a button to activate it. The AP players have to actually TIME the item to be efficient and it completely stops them in their tracks so people can collapse on them, while also stopping the AP player from being able to continue to preform and nuke. If your team can't then collapse on a person in stasis shinning in gold that sounds like a communication problem. Meanwhile Guardians allows the person to continue smashing their keys until they literally die AND revive again with more HP to continue the fight. It's a very efficient item overall. It makes diving stupid easy at early levels and removes any form of punishing a player for misplaying. It allows them a second chance to get out of situations they should have been punished for. In this meta right now what makes this item so toxic as well is that I seen bruisers and assassins rushing it as a 2nd item. While some people might not see this as an issue, it makes it to where the laner / jg can snowball even harder in their duels. This meta is all about snowballing early and playing assassins / bruisers over tanks / mages. Very few mages are being played now unless they are over tuned. Brand being a good example and Fid support. ( Not saying Fid is over tuned, he just fits in bot lane very well atm. ) I feel the item in general needs to be removed. If Riot wants games to be about being flashy and promote more healthy gameplay then this would help be a start. What needs to happen is riot starts rewarding players for skill and not giving everyone a safety net for screwing up.

Melee champions get more stats than ranged champions, and in particular have stronger defensive options. That is why Hexdrinker is an AD item and Seeker's Armguard is an AP item. Mages should stay vulnerable and squishy. They should remain easily countered by assassins. If assassins suddenly have a hard time killing mages, you lose your reason for picking assassins. Assassins being so ridiculously good at killing mages is what keeps mages from being 100% pick ban in mid lane. Shift that balance and you have assassins disappear from mid entirely. Nothing is stopping mage players from building QSS on mages. It doesn't give AP but that's fine, it's also significantly cheaper than trying to build a full item out of it. Grab the QSS and you have the active, then you can move on to a better AP item.

Everyone should just be running it straight to the base and beating on the nexus and have 1 teamfight before the game ends. It seems to be what riot really wants anyways now.

The only thing that needs to happen is that some of the changes that hit mages / enchanters need to be tweaked. Not the item, but their individual scaling of a skill. They want a bunch of items that have 100-120 AP and different passives, which would just result in them stacking those items and not actually making a choice. When an item is good, it is built. And players build it over others. Riot attempted to make the Shiv/Hurricane/PD/Rapidfire thing for mages with the new Lost Chapter items but mage players didn't even TRY {{item:3030}} after its rework. Item diversity doesn't actually exist. Every other player in the game will build basically the exact same six items every game. There is no real choice if you want to climb, you will buy the best combination of items whether you are ahead or behind. See also ADCs who do not build any sort of defense if they are failing to get farm, they will still rush their scaling items even though they have no chance of actually completing them in time and they will feed constantly because of their build until then. Player behavior is not optimal, therefore there is no diversity. It's not a problem Riot can solve (nor is it even a problem, just build the same items every game and get enjoyment out of the gameplay rather than your stats, wtf) so why should they bother trying?

Most want an item similar to hex for AP and a QSS that actually builds into something they can use. IDC if the AP on that item is 20-50 w/e as long as it's similar to what the ADs get with a similar CD to those items.

There has been a massive decline in Esports views because people are sick of how they lack any real skill now. People pretty much know which champs are going to be played and there is a major lack of diversity. It is also boring to just watch a "Imma 100-0 you" with no counter play in .5sec. The damage in this game is the worst it has ever been. There has been NUMEROUS boards that have listed the problems with how the damage has creeped up to the state it is in and why it shouldn't be like it is. Item diversity for AP sucks. I'm sorry but it really does. ADs have a much better diversity for what they want and can access. Tanks have been smacked down again thanks to the runes like conq and when comboed with IE why even bother building armor when you have a better chance of just going a pure "I'm going to punch you to 0 HP in .5 sec" champ. Supports were nerfed ( shielders and healers aka enchanters ) and don't get me wrong some of them really needed it, but there was also some that got indirectly hit who didn't get any form of compensation for this. JG has become a joke again. The scuttle changes were completely unnecessary and if you are soloQing good luck getting people to help you try to contest for one. AP champs were nerfed and now we have this mess of assassins in mid lane. ADCs were hit so now we have mages living in bot lane / yas. I'm all for changes to the game, but a lot of this just didn't make sense. Especially when people have crunched the numbers for items, and given very solid arguments on why certain things didn't need to be shifted like they did. ESPECIALLY during ranked season. What is the point of having a pre-season when you are shifting the meta right in the middle of a season?
