Yeah, it's a terrible mechanic. You get the glowing eyes above their opponent's head, and players think they should be able to see them, but it is basically a useless mechanic for the times you need it.

Are the Tahm Kench adjustments on PBE set for 9.10? If so,I have a couple questions/requests: 1. Is there any chance his attack range could be increased back to 200? 2. Will you please explore the possibility of changing his interaction with large monsters? Right now, he can eat wolf, chicken, krug, and gromp. However he cannot eat blue or red buffs. Can you switch so that large monsters get stacks just like champions, then allow him to stun and eat large monsters? I would like to see least lived away from support so that he can be an enjoyable champion once again 3. Would it be possible to allow him full passive damage to minions and monsters that are immune to stacks since they cannot be stacked?
: Anything that gives you CDR or impacts your mana pool is switched out afaik (ingenious and ultimate hunter, transcendence, etc). Also, it auto switches you to Grasp if you take Aftershock on a champ that can't proc it.
The key stone it wouldn't let me take was lethal tempo, with has nothing to do with any of that.

I have to say, I'm pretty "meh" about what you've chosen to do with Kench. On the one hand, I completely agree that nerfing the ally devour is a Good Thing, I'm not sure about the rest of the changes. For example: Q: His Q is the counterplay/dueling ability, and it is really "fine" at the moment. I would not touch it because he treads a fine line with his on-hit stun. Reducing the duration will give him a lot of very situational power that will not be felt against players experienced at fighting him, but it will make him feel much, much more oppressive to newer players. "OMG HOW DO I ESCAPE THE PERMA STUN!" W: I do not like the reduced scaling on this. 300 AP is not hard to do, and the ability is already nerfed on damage. I think playing with the cooldown is sufficient, but hitting his scaling has a profound impact on AP-oriented builds. The thing I miss the most about Kench, and honestly it's the reason I stopped playing him, was the huge nerf to his auto-attacks he received waaay back when. Would it be at all possible to give Kench back his 200-range auto-attack? Let Kench be more of an in-your-face damage soaker tank/bruiser hybrid champ, and bring back his ability to attack over a minion. It made him feel so much better to use. I would rather he get no help on Q, no change to offensive W (just the nerf to defensive W), and his auto-attack back than these changes. Just my $0.02.

First, watch his energy. Zed is not limitless resources. If he doesn't manage his energy well, use those times to poke him and win the trade. Second, buy armor. If you are vs a zed as an AP mage, conserve your mana and your cooldowns, and rush the seekers armguard. Assuming you have armor yellows, that plus seekers will help you come out on top. Zed is one of those champions that you simply need to accept the fact that going vs him will dictate some of your build. You can't just rush whatever you normally rush to bust down your opponents because he had the ability to force engagements and all-in you at-will. But the thing is, once you put yourself in a position to not be killed by him, you can very easily deal with him when presented opportunities to do so.

Forgive me for focusing on only one small part of it-- I want to hear more about what you said about the name Battlecast Illaoi & what other options you all might wanna see instead. Those names are placeholder for now, but they might still be the best options in the end. Battlecast is a tough one since she's in that universe but not part of the faction--in the past, we've been inconsistent about theme names & the names of factions within those themes. I think "Resistance" sounds cool but think that steps on Resistance Caitlyn. In my mind, calling it "Battlecast" most clearly indicates what the general look and feel of the skin is gonna be, and anyone who cares more about the story behind the skin will read and find that info. But I could totally be wrong.

Have you considered lowering his peak power in exchange for a little more reliability? Right now, if a champ deals with his W, they slaughter him. Otherwise, he slaughters them. What if his W was harder to shut down so much, but it wasn't so overtly powerful? For example, what if its damage was reduced, but he would continue firing even if CC'ed (like Garen E)? Or what if more damage was shifted to his Q and E, and taken away from his W so that W was more of a tanking ability and less about jamming damage down people's throats, relying more on his shotgun knees for effect than it does even now?

: Current version we're testing has a larger radius/shorter delay on Q and a faster missile on R. That's experimental though, we had different changes in a couple of days ago that were trying buffed passive damage instead.
Have you considered making W behave like Garen's E? By that, I mean that since Urgot can't control it directly, perhaps it can keep firing during stuns and hard CC?
