Try DotA or HotS, maybe you'll find one of those fits your preferences better. League's turned into a flashy super-high damage game in the interest of e-sports, and balance changes tend to be adding more damage to weaker kits (like tanks, after all, why should they be durable instead of just nuking?)

From what I've seen, it's only when that piece casts their spell. I think it's meant for pieces with low mana costs, since it lets them spam more effectively.

: “Low chance” could be anywhere between 10 and 40%, and high chance (forgot the name of the item) could be anywhere between 60 and 90%. Some items literally just say “chance” too. Its not okay to have this level of uncertainty, especially if they want to make this a ranked mode too.

The items in general rely too much on third party information, IMO.

From what I've found, 1. 20% chance to reduce their level by 1. 2. Any enemy spell cast. 3. 30% chance to silence 4. Again, 20% chance, never used it so I'm not sure what it does. 5. Enemy max health. 6. Just basic attacks. They really could clarify these more, as well as item building. I basically need to use a guide to know what builds to what, outside of my preferred items.

I assumed they'd done it the way the others do and just shove a (at least somewhat) random piece onto your bench and sell one from it if you overflow the bench. Maybe they thought not letting you put extras on the board between rounds would keep this from being a problem?

Oh, lose streaking. That strategy's main drawback in TFT is how quickly the damage increases, so you can't just play empty fort and build to full interest super early. Realistically you want to aim for either a winning or losing streak for max gold.

That's pretty close to what Underlords does. One item per loot round, if you win you get to pick it from a set of 3. Honestly that's probably what I like best about Underlords of all the auto chess games. Also, what's "hyperroll"? It sounds like the opposite of what I'd expect if this'd hurt it. (Reroll tons for early 3 stars)

Oracle has an ability that damages, then heals that same target over time for 150% the damage. The whole kit is basically half-good/half-bad abilities that can be cast on any hero (champion).

I can't be the only one who felt kinda bothered by the tone of the event sort of presenting these as independent options. They're all pretty important. Without any teamwork you're basically never going to make it very far. Without a strategy... technically you can't not have a strategy. Even "charge and hit things" is a plan. Without skill, it doesn't matter how aware and knowledgeable you are. Without creativity you're doomed the moment anything goes off plan.

Really, I feel like assassins are fine one-shotting someone. It's when they do it five times in rapid succession, while ignoring everything thrown at them, that you have a problem. Likewise if they have a solid shot at blowing up the carry and running off, that's pretty much the role, while blowing up the tank and mowing down the rest of the team, isn't.

If you change the first rune, the second keeps the previous layout. So you can change the primary rune without touching the second one.
