: Reasons we need Reverse Nunu skin
You could have someone make a custom skin of that one guy from Beelzebub (anime). The animations would make it look a little weird, though. On a separate note, if we're gonna have Reverse Nunu, we should also have Reverse Azir (a Shuriman Soldier spawning an army of Azirs) and other such skins. They would probably be an April Fools gag, though.

I think it's neat. :3 It could work.

But... you have 5 characters in the hexakill compilation... Why you no use parallel structure? :P
: why is thresh called the chain warden?

: pretty much, but i may have done mistakes somewhere.
It's a neat idea, but the passive's ability to scout wards (if you can't cast, there's a ward) leaves little room for that mr debuff, in my opinion.
: All fine except the dread part I changed it to not be a shred but s target priority effect Dread marks a target and let's them know if he crows me I'm getting hit 2/3 times or at least once if he throws it on something else because I will be #1 priority for the crows Also the AA mana return is balanced in this aspect, if he is AAing he isn't channeling and if he is t channeling he loses a lot of his DPS
Although that's true, there's a reason why Soraka's e doesn't give mana back any more. And taric's passive doesn't give mana back any more. I believe that the only person who regains mana that is not a mana cost refund is Swain with his retarded passive: health and mana on unit kill. The reason it is overpowered is because an 80 mana cost on his drain is refunded by 16 autos. Less than, when you consider basic mana regen, and even less when you consider the mage jungle item. Mathematically speaking, by the time the cooldown on his drain is done, he'd have refunded the cost on his w, giving him much higher sustain than what he has already. And with blue buff, well, no need to worry about mana. This means he'll never have to back until he feels like his pockets are a bit too full with cash. He can plays as passive as he likes, afk farm until 30 minutes in, and have full build while never ganking or backing once until that point. Fiddle should be spooky. He should be farming, yes, but he should also show up and be a spooky scary skeleton in a lane that's being a meanie to his ally. He should be leaving behind effigies that are as spooky as he is. He should be spooky. Not that fungus on your shower wall that refuses to leave because he hasn't run out of mana yet. If you wanna do that, might I point you towards the essence reaver?

: I modified the kit, please let me know what you think of the new one!
TL;DR - Spelling error in Fiddle's passive. Another in his Q. Bonus cast range on e when casting on an effigy is a bit much. Tone it down a tad, maybe to 750 or 800. Passive can be used to scout wards or place down an effigy, but not both in the same cast. If used when scouting wards, cooldown is used, and effigy is lost. Effigies are destroyed when seen by the enemy. You have a spelling error here (it's in bold and italicized): >If Fiddlesticks is not visible to the enemy team, he may begin to channel for 2 seconds. After completing the channel, Fiddlesticks leaves an Effigy in his current location. ***Effigy's*** Effigies grant vision around them in a 1000 radius, and last 240 seconds before despawning. (Max of 2 Effigies on the map at any given time.) (Ally units cannot teleport to Effigies) Also, I was wondering. Why a 900 unit cast on Uncanny Wind (e) if casting on his effigy? I like the concept of having an increased cast radius on the ability if cast on an effigy, but that basically means he can toss a crow pretty much at bot tri bush while fighting dragon at the entrance of the dragon pit. 900 range is a bit too much. I agree with CrimsonCobra's idea to limit the amount of effigies on the field, but I feel that... What if Fiddle's effigies are destroyed once the enemy has vision of them? (Furthermore, his passive can be used for ward scouting without ever having to buy a pink ward. Just thought of that; if his channel get interrupted/is unable to cast his passive, there's a ward nearby) So, this provides a bit of a predicament, since his passive can give him a theoretical raptor buff every 40 seconds. I'm not saying to nerf the cooldown. 40 seconds is actually pretty nice in my opinion. What I am saying is that if Fiddle decides to use the passive in this manner, his there should be limitations to it. He should be clearing out the jungle with pink wards and scanners, not with his 40 second cooldown passive that tells him whether a ward is there or not. At least not without any repercussions. What I propose is making it so that he can't channel his passive while an enemy champion can see him, but can if an enemy ward sees him. To this end, the effigies immediately dissipate and are destroyed when the enemy sees his effigies. What this means is that there will always be a sense of dread in the enemy. They'll never see where Fiddle is placing an effigy unless the enemy has good ward placement, as this will cause Fiddle's effigy to die the moment he places it down, wasting his passive. Of course, he'll know a ward is there, but he'll pay a heavy price for it. (Also, the effigy will be considered placed down before destroyed. As of the writing of this message, where he can only have 2 on the field at a time, if this would be his 3rd effigy, he would lose both his oldest one, and the one he put down just then. That's a hefty price for not making sure he's getting the upper hand on the enemy.) I'm not trying to make it so that his passive can't be used in multiple ways. What I'm saying is that he can use it to put down an effigy, or scout for wards, but not both in the same cast. It isn't meant to scout wards, but he can use it that way. Also, the instant destruction of the effigy allows for Fiddle to be completely discrete about where he places his effigies as the enemy will only see the effigy's death. "Is this a bad omen?" It also allows the enemy to fight against his effigies instead of establishing a sort of cthulu (I know I spelt it wrong) kind of dread in the enemy. I know it's what you're going for, but by making it so they only see the death animation of the effigy (or no animation at all- it could just die and the enemy will never know it was there) and that could bring about the same sense without making his effigies overpowered. Think of Reksai's tunnels. Now give them vision, and make them indestructible. You now see what I mean. Of course, Fiddle will have a limit to how many he can put down, but simply to explain my reason behind why I believe this should take place. Edit: I apologize if this doesn't feel like your Fiddle idea anymore. I just feel that these may help carry out what you want to accomplish with Fiddle, while not making him an unstoppable monster in the rift- scary and intimidating, but not broken.
: (Reworked Concept) Moza Brothers - The Demon Bandits
It seems like an interesting idea. Seems like a jack of all trades champion than can have assassin, mage, and support/tank capabilities, but doesn't excel at anything. It's a nice concept. Not broken, from what I see. I will say that each brother should hold a percentage of the maximum health built on the champion. Let's say.... Big Heavy holds 45%, Tiny holds 25%, and Bat-Man holds 35%. Each brother does not regenerate health while in use, but those that are inactive regenerate health based on the health regen built. Alternatively, to prevent the spamming of one single brother, each time a brother uses their own ability (IE, Using Chainsaw Massacre while already being Tiny,) they gain a stack of Fatigue. The ability to change into Tiny (using him as an example) will under go a cooldown if the player changes into Bat-man, Big Heavy, or upon death. The cooldown is determined by each stack of Fatigue, with each stack converting to 1 second of cooldown. This would be to prevent people from being one brother for too long. When one of the brothers dies, the spell to change into that brother becomes disabled until the player returns to fountain. After which, the player must wait 20 seconds, plus fatigue stacks (if implemented), to change into that brother again. Don't let your brothers die. Additionaly, the ult should have slightly scaled down stats to accomodate for something to fit the characters' lore a bit more: al brothers that are alive, including the on in use, will cast their unique ability, also giving the character in use his repsective stat bonuses from the ult. This spell would not cause a character switch.
: I don't feel that Elderwood Zyra or Death Blossom Zyra would have the much potentional. It's been a while riot released a sexy skin. Time for one, a girl with a whip has much potentional. Something like Jailer Zyra: With Q chains, Passive & W: Jailball, E: Chains, R: Chains, Plants: Guns & Bat
Fan service is for the illuminati, mate. :P
: YES YES YES, but how will blue dragon be useful as half of it is useless to him
Increase the ratio of his passive; damage dealt converts to more shield than before, I suppose?
regonas (EUNE)
: [Champion Concept] Elit - The Librarian
Hmm... It could work. I feel that his empowerment to minions should be brought down. Not sure if he'd be a bruiser or a support and his just barely melee attack range means his E would require for him to get close. His squishiness doesn't help in this regard, not to mention how slow he seems to be. I feel that he'd fit more as a support with the kit he has, the 240 true damage being more of something to harrass or defend himself with rather than something he could kill with. The lack of mana could prove to be something that can be difficult to balance. In exchange, I propose this the following: he can work off of a meter that fills upon backing, but also fills when out of combat- lets call it "knowledge". This meter will function as his mana, but it will not regenerate while in combat, and, in terms of his maximum knowledge, all of his spells are relatively expensive as they consume knowledge to cast, prompting more passive play. The enemy would need to prevent Elit from recording the minions with his passive in order to limit his usefulness. His spells are quite strong, and would be something that the enemy doesn't want to deal with. If the enemy decides to dive Elit, he can die quite easily early on, but Elit certain has the tools to do an all in if he needs to, or if he's feeling a bit aggresive. The rate at which his passive refills his knowledge scales with mana regen items, masteries, and runes. He does, however, have quite a bit of armor and mr to help him out, but reducing the damage doesn't mean much if he can't take the reduced damage to begin with. I can see people building at least some health on him, maybe even a tank support given his melee restraints. The books in his additional mechanics should be moved to his passive, since it's a passivise ability that he can gain, similar to Corki's new passive. On that note, I feel that if Elit says out of combat, the time for the books to appear at fountain is reduced by 0.5 seconds per second he remains out of combat. In light of this, the books should be scaled down in power, maybe to 75% instead of 100%. That way, passive play is rewarded. Being dead stops the count down on Elit's book appearances, punishing Elit for getting caught out. He's a librarian. He should be smarter than that. His rift should be usable by enemies, but damages the enemy for an amount based on the target's resistances. Additionally, he should be able to cast Time Manipulation inside his own rift to speed up travel through the rift, but instantly deals 1/2 damage to all enemies traveling through the rift, meaning that if the enemy has the ability to hunt down Elit through his rift and not get killed, they can. Any enemies killed while traveling through the rift have their bodies not appear on the map as they are still in the rift, even after it closes. These are just my thoughts on it, though. Hope I was helpful, and didn't butcher your idea. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}
: Elemental dragon slayer mordekaiser skin anyone ?
Avatardekeiser. I feel like it could work, but I also feel that this prompts tweaks to other dragonslayer skins too. We'll have to see how it plays out.
Belue (NA)
: Highnoon Thresh
Visuals/Audio to go with the idea: His Q would be a a pair of swing cuffs that he can throw up, capturing anyone hit by the swing cuffs. Upon cast, a bell tolls (similar to the sounds the chains make as he winds up) to signal high noon, and that someone's gonna get rekt. "It's high noon.." Also, I feel that an obligatory "Yee Haw!" should play when he jumped to his chained target. His W could be a small small jail cell or a lasso, as you mentioned in a comment. His E could be a safe that he slides under his feet and jumps over as he does so. I'm not too sure about this one. His ult could be jail bars that come up when he ults. The sound of a jail door closing could be the sound effect of the walls coming up, and a small alarm can play when someone breaks out of the jail cell. I feel like his lantern should a jail cell with an oil lantern inside lighting up the inside. The light inside the jail cell should glow brighter the more he stacks his passive. His taunts should include special interactions with Lucian (of course), some of the Shadow Isle characters, other Caitlyn, Vi, Jynx, Shacco, Twitch, and anyone else who's a criminal/crime fighter that I've accidentally left out.
: Zyra, Zyra and Zyra
Well... Zyra hasn't been seeing much action lately. It's a neat idea that makes all the sense it needs to. We'll just have to see what becomes of this idea.
: FIDDLESTICKS REWORK: Scarecrows are supposed to be creepy!
I approve. I think that if an effigy is used by Fiddle's passive, the Effigy should either fall apart (prompting more usage of his q) or fiddle and the effigy swap places instead of Fiddle just blinking to the effigy (meaning he can move his effigies, but he needs to be careful to not place the effigies in a bad spot such that they get easily destroyed. I will say that I don't quite like the nearsightedness on his E, though. Instead, the crow should be able to bounce off his effigies, making them unable to be used by his passive for 15 seconds, and the crow can only bounce off an effigy once per cast. If the crow attacks a target from behind, the target is instead inflicted with a decaying fear for 3/4 of the duration. I fell that the duration of the fear can be 1/2 of that of the slow, but I would have wanted to make it so that the player can choose to go for the fear or for the longer but less cc potent slow to suit what they are fighting, and not make it so that the slow is the go-to option over the fear; in other words, to prompt the Fiddle player to use the effigy if it's there and punish the enemy for not clearing out Fiddle's effigies, but to make it so Fiddle has to think about not only blinking but also combat when placing the effigies. Another idea, instead, is arming the effigy with a crow from Uncanny Wind. Whenever someone walks withing vision of the effigy (which I'm assuming looks like a scarecrow) the crow attacks the target, and each effigy can be armed with up to 2 crows- one per shoulder of the effigy- but one target cannot be hit with both at the same time. Instead, the effigy will wait until the slow applied by the crow dissipates before sending out another crow. The effigies should also ignore the Line of Sight rule in the direction the are facing. These are just some suggestions, but it's actually a neat idea. Making Fiddle a a bit more of a threat on the rift when he's in the Jungle, but I feel that his stats/scaling should be adustied in light of these changes to reflect his new kit. I think it could work.
Mhihnj (EUW)
: Fiddlesticks needs a new model IMO, I think you should shift his Passive to his Q and make the effigies amount scale with level. Also remove it's health and rather, give it a short timer(30/45/60seconds) Passive: Clicking on an effigy will root fiddlesticks on the spot if the enemy doesn't have vision on him, and make him look like an effigy himself for 2 seconds. Also enemy's entering fiddle's auto range will slowly lose armor and MR up to a maximum of 10/20/30

I had some things to say as I was reading through the thread to make sure if every question in my main post was answered. Whether your post gets bumped or not is secondary. Like farming this thread for upvotes, such as TurquoiseYoshi pointed out, by deleting/reposting the thread. Like I said, keep it up! I don't care for upvotes. What do they do? If you'd like, go tell Riot to remove all votes from my account. I honestly cannot think of anything I care about less. N.B I haven't had to repost this thread and in large effect that's down to your bumps, thanks for your hard work.
Perhaps it's simply a metaphor for how you're trying to keep Solo Queue alive? I dunno. Maybe. I could also be trying to keep you from getting looked down upon from Rito for spamming, since it may fall under "Making repetitive non-constructive or low effort content" in the Board Regulations. I could also be trying to have it so you forget about the thread. Not too sure which one I'm trying to go for at the moment, though. However, I must ask: what's your purpose with this thread? To try to get people to stop playing League? To rally more people against the omission of Solo Queue? To make others look down upon Riot? Other than those reasons, I can think of no other reason for you posting this thread. I do hope it isn't purpose-less.
: Is*
It can be taken as a sample, but it was this very logic that made everyone pissy about Solo Queue being gone. A lot of people didn't rank because they couldn't queue up with their friends. So Rito tried to strike a compromise between Solo players and Group player. Sure, the match making was wonky at first (as is anything when first introduced), but it's fixed now. Interestingly enough, this goes all the way back to all those wanting Solo Queue back to have forgotten how to share, something that was taught to us (or was supposed to have been) in Kindergarden, as we, as a community, can't seem to share one queue meant to strike a compromise. However, I don't know what side in the debate, you take, if any, so I'll stop my post here.
: Well I'm not sure I rely factually on someone who says "I am pretty sure" then is proven wrong and then says about something else "That I know for fact". I actually laughed, "Yeah, you knew for sure also the previous thing you were wrong about". Still a feature of ignorance. Not that I would be bothered, and not that he would be wrong about that one, and not that I would have downvoted his original post - he was right about it being little bit obnoxious that the power of that Mastery would make most Mages rely on its power so it would be majority must-go like Flash is and the whole point of "choice" would be mere illusion. Lich Bane is cool but not quite what the Mastery did. Nashors... I'm not quite sure how viable it is on Mages generally, so can't judge If it's good enough item substitution of the Mastery.
True. Some mages are better off just build straight damages. Like Annie. On the contrary, Teemo is a weird spot where he's a marksman (according to the game) but is spending most of his time in top lane whilst dealing a lot of magic damage. Nashor's tooth fits him pretty well with his awkward hybrid playstyle, where you rely on your autos, but deal magic damage- not many items provide magic damage benefits for auto attacks. This was why Arcane Blade was great on Teemo. Again, though, Teemo is in a weird spot, but I mentioned him just to provide an example who would be good with that item. Oriana also synergizes pretty well with Nashor's Tooth, if the player plans on abusing her passive. Edit: I can understand what you mean about not believing a person who gets proven wrong and how that can rid a person of their credibility. That's fine. But at least he's able to retain/regain his dignity as a person by admitting his mistakes. Admitting to your own mistakes is easier said than done for some. Overcoming your own pride to admit mistakes calls for some form of compensation in my opinion.
: TL;DR: I know the context of the post, and brought the conversation, which drifted out of context long before I stepped in, back into context. Also, a little tidbit on punish/rewrading players. Perhaps. I still doubt Rito is trying to make a milking cow. Keeping it a milking cow owuld have been keeping all the nice content (skins and the such) as only available with the purchase of a card using actual money. Instead, you can gain the things for free. That's all I had to say. The context of the post was talking about how the queues could maybe coexist. Then the context slowly shifted to population numbers within the game, and the questionable success of the game. Then it began switching to the economics of the game. You lead, I follow. I simply followed your drifting context. On the topic of rewarding and punishing players, because that's what the conversation has drifted to now, I recall having received Reverse Annie (a barely play Annie, so somewhat of a waste) for being a positive influence in the community, as ironic as that may be to you right now. They have rewarded players for positive behavior. That was before I got onto the forums and found all these threads about solo queue being gone and everyone being butthurt. About it being gone. As far as punishing toxic players goes, this can be a bit tricky. I have a friend who has some pretty severe anger issues. If someone joins League and they have trouble managing and controlling their emotions, then can you blame that person? End of the day, that person would be banned because of the way they were raised or whatever other factors contributed to that emotional deficiency. Banning someone for something that is seemingly out of their control is just like being blamed by the few million people you're trying to satisfy for trying to making a system that creates a compromise and allows the two queues to coexist into one. And there we go. Back into context. :3
TL;DR: Still confused as to why people are complaining with the new system in place. Still don't see how Rito is trying to make a milking cow of a free game, since it's the buyer's choice to buy the stuff. I still don't think that it's that much of an issue that Solo Queue is gone due to the compromise. I'm no oracle, though- we'll have to see how it works out in the end. I mean, the poster of the thread is so upset that Solo Queue is gone that he's saying that it's never coming back. Doesn't explain why he's logging in every day to say this, as though he's either trying to cause some kind of change that's already been done to strike a compromise between team players and Solo Queue-ers, or to make as many people leave has he can with him. Just doesn't make sense why he would say this, then continue to log in every day to keep an eye on whether or not his thread has expired. Borderline hypocritical, I'd say. Anyways, I don't think I mentioned this, but Rito made a change to match making. If as many people were concerned about Solo Queue being gone as other parts of the thread of the thread makes it seem, then Dynamic Queue would literally be Solo Queue. However, just as other parts of the thread has pointed out, one part of the community is not the whole. How sad is it that there are so many posts complaining about the omission of Solo Queue simply because not everyone liked Solo Queue when it was there, but now "everyone" wants it back. As a community, we can't make up our mind, and blame Rito for not being able to provide for this 13 yo girl of a community. And... wanting to make a milking cow of a free game doesn't quite make sense. Sure, they're trying to get you to buy their stuff, but you can't sure McDonald's for trying to sell unhealthy food; you're the one making the choice to buy their food. If you don't buy, it shouldn't affect you. If you do buy, that's your choice. If League were to require some kind of subscription or purchase to play the game at al, then I'd believe you. but as it is, I don't think it's a milking cow. Maybe it's caused the downfall of other companies, but just like our lives, businesses must come to an end eventually. Just a fact of life.
: For pro players it was kind of situational, though it saw play sometimes. Phreak praised "Inspiration" in his runes and masteries video for the 2015 season and it worked phenomenally for my games. I think it's a shame it is gone.
I think it's because it stakced with Zilean's old passive? But even then, they changed his passive along with most of his kit. Would that mastery still have stacked with the new one? Not sure.
: Yes they did, but they lowered it by the same amount the same patch so no one ever noticed.
Well played, sir. Well played. That sarcasm, though. xD

Oh! You're thinking of her passive, maybe. She deals %ap with her autos and deals an additional %ap if she hits the same target continuously. TL;DR: Quotes taken directly from the link you posted. Rito would not be at fault if they made a public voice chat. Solo Queue had some issues that Dynamic Queue tries to fix. Still dont' understand the issue of Solo Queue vs Dynamic Queue. --- These are taken directly from the link you posted above, just so you know. >"I'm really surprised by those results (where did they even come from?), I used Curse Voice while it was in beta and joined 5-10 different chats with random team mates. It's not a problem with the system put in place, but the people who use it. By a similar token, guns don't kill people- people kill people. Guns are simply a tool or a medium in the violent exchange. Voice chat is simply a tool that can be used by trolls and ragers, but is the voice chat itself at fault? No. Would Rito be at fault for making a system that was used in such a way? No. McDonald's is not at fault for making unhealthy food if it's the people that continue to buy it. They, however, want to prevent the bad apples from driving away the good apples. Then there's language barriers, but I feel that it would fall under a different thread, and wouldn't quite fit in in this thread/post, as that has to deal with someone choosing the wrong server, most likely. --- In the regular champion select, the one before dynamic queue, you called for a role and hoped you got it. Typically, prior to season 4, the last one to call a role was stuck with support, unless they decided to do some off meta thing. At the time it was a *typically* undesirable role: no support gold income items, mainly. This meant that someone had to master the role they wanted, or support if they were too slow to call their role. Some chose fill, but let's be honest: 9 times out of 10, they ended up with support either way. So yes, you are right, they would need to learn two roles: their role, and support. But then, if you were a support main? You typically only need to learn one role, then: rarely will someone contest you for your role. Support has become more popular as the years went by, so there are people who actually want to contest the support role. This means that support need to learn two roles now. Of course, someone can learn 3, 4, 5 roles if the wanted to or if they cared enough to. True, this happens in champion select where you have about a minute and a half to coordinate where everyone will go, but you had to be prepared to have to go into any role if someone calls your role first. With some, this would sometimes lead to insta-locking. I've had several situations where two people insta-locked top lane, and one occasion where 3 people insta-locked top. It happened a few times with mid where two insta-locked mid, about three times with junglers, and only once with adc to my memory. Teambuilder was a very nice concept, but it's major flaw was the queue times. I've had ocassion where I waited a game's average length (30 minutes or so) just to find a jungler/support if I wasn't support. It was a very nice idea, but those queue times needed fixing. In Dynamic Queue, you instead select two roles and you're guaranteed one of those two. The game will try to give you the primary role, but will instead give you your secondary role if need be. Complaining, maybe, but there's more organization, and there's a general trust and understanding that the person knows how to play the role (not always do they know how to play the role, but that's with or without solo queue). Dodging still happens, but I have yet to see any arguments happen as a result of the role that matchmaking gave a player. To put that in perspective, I've seen people trade roles. To that regard, I wish that you can trade roles visually and not just in chat. That way it doesn't look like Darius is doing support and Janna is going top, but it's far from a perfect system. If what you meant by "You know that champion select (everyone choosing 2 roles) is independent of dynamic queue right?" went over my head, please let me know what. I just tried making do with what I understood. But I digress. The more and more I talk with those wanting solo queue back, the more I learn about the predicament. With everything I've learned, I still don't know what people want Solo Queue back with the system that's in place. If everyone really did want Solo Queue back, there wouldn't be 5-man teams in Dynamic queue- there would instead by a team of randoms vs a team of randoms because of the match making in the game [(it's been fixed)](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/developer-corner/XvqbAgrF-letos-talk-about-dynamic-queues-and-ranked-play). Edit: Fixing my TL;DR.

Like I said though, I didn't look anything up to say what I said about the hextech system, so who really cares about how much RP this or that costs. I feel like you missed the boat on a lot of what you're talking about here. You're talking about hextech like it proves they're not using the same model that MANY online games have used which is in itself a fallacy to argue around. They could've done hextech years ago when they started promising to reward players for good behavior vs punish players for bad behavior. It doesn't change the over-all tone and model of their game since S6 started.
TL;DR: I know the context of the post, and brought the conversation, which drifted out of context long before I stepped in, back into context. :3

: I don't think hextech boxes are really a selling point as far as giving stuff away, it's not giving away much. I'm not going to actually math it out precisely and look up exactly how many champions there are but here; You get 100ish hextech boxes per year. 1/3rd is Skins, 1/3rd is Champs, 1/3rd is ward skins/icons/whatever. A third is garbage you'd probably never get yourself. 1/3rd are champions, most of which will be ones you already have (unless you never buy champions. if you never buy champions the 33ish you get you'll be able to sell 22 of them for materials and buy a whopping 11 for free*). And the skins, which again, are completely random and most likely not ones you'd buy yourself. Free is the 300 key fragments you need to open those 100 chests, which you don't get for every game. That's accessible to a lot of people at 300 with each giving a fragment, but it's not accessible to most. Anyone who doesn't play with others will see less fragments and less chests. Most groups of friends won't s- or higher on every champion available. Overall, at best it's a gambling system that caters to people who really want to spend 200ish rp for a chance at a skin that costs 2600. It was developed as another way to milk RP sales and guised as a reward for good, nontoxic play.
Luck of the draw. You're about to get away from the enemy adc at critical health, all their spells are down, your escape is up, but the enemy adc has already thrown their last auto at you. If it crits, you die. If it doesn't you live. It's something we've come to accept, especially myself, a support main, who has to deal with these crits all the time. Also, they could simply eliminate something that you have from the drop pool of the chest. Regardless, it's still something you can get for free. Will it take some effort? Of course. But it's something you can get for free. Also, you can just use the reroll system to try again. Got something you don't want? Reroll it for something that's guaranteed to be something you can use, but if you don't want it, you can, again, reroll it and continue this until you get what it is that you want. It may take some tries, and you may run out of boxes, but what does it matter? You got all of those things for free and didn't spend a penny on it. I don't understand the issue of trying to milk the company becoming so prevalent *now*. Rito has always has IP boosters and rune pages available for purchase via RP, making farming a lot easier. Certain skins are so interesting that people impulse buy them. This is like suing McDonald's for selling unhealthy food that people continue to buy. You don't need to buy them. but you by them out of your own volition. Rito simply provided the product, told you it was there, but you, as the player, made the decision as to whether you should by it or not. Rito did not reach into your pocket and steal the money from you without your consent, and since it did not, I do not see the problem. Also, as a side note, there isn't a skin that costs 2600 rp.
: > [{quoted}](name=NoctusLynx,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=9NQWAYsc,comment-id=001c,timestamp=2016-04-13T17:43:49.574+0000) > > Yes, and Rito is owned by a posse of reptilian aliens that are all members of the illuminati in Area 51. > > Undoubtedly. > > I know you're butt hurt. But it may come back. It may not come back. You want proof that things take time? Look at Taric, and and wait your damned turn. Riot has quite a few things to do. Do you think that solo queue is more important than balancing the game (of course, my theory is that no game is ever able to be balanced)? It will take time. Are we being lied to? Maybe. But those things happen, and are a matter of reality. Our parents, politicians and other important figures lie to us all the time. Is it right to do so? Of course not; Franklin D Roosevelt spoke to his citizens on a regular basis and was the only president to serve 4 terms. And Riot is talking to us. > > If the lack of a solo queue is that much of a burden, the door is at the top right of your browser window (or top left if you're using a (*shudder*) Mac... In which case it would be in the top left). > > League is a free game. (Unless you pay for skins, but those aren't necessary to play, so, again, free game.) If there's something you don't like, voice your concern. As I see, you have done this. You go on to say that it will never return, meaning you have given up. If so, that's perfectly fine- equally fine as if you were to continue to voice your opinion. > > And take up space on the boards. > > You have your right to express yourself. As do I. If you don't like the game as is due to the lack of solo queue, and truly believe that it will never return... then what are you doing here? Don't be in a relationship you don't want to be in. Every single sentence you'e posted is more than answered in this thread. Your entire post is irrelevant.
http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4026943 TL;DR: People waiting on Taric's update. This thread was posted on 2013. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202294884-Champion-Update-Schedule TL;DR: A list of champion updates ever since release. Not tweaks, but reworks. Shows that Taric has not received a visual update since release. The splash art being updated is not a visual update of the in-game skin. And, if you look it up, The game was released in Oct 7, 2009. That's 7 years we waited for a Taric update. And here it is, in all its fabulous glory. We all waited 9 months to be born, too. I also doubt that every single sentence I posted was actually answered in the thread. I looked through the thread. Some, yes, but not all. On another topic, how can you be sure that a team of 5 will be queued up against a team of 5 randoms? It may be lies (but how can you prove it; as the prosecutor, the burden of proof falls on you) but Riot has stated it is working on fixing match making to have it such that a team of 5 will be matched against a team of 5, a team of 4+1 random against a team of 4+1 random, and *gasp gaps double gasp* a team of *randoms* against a team of *randoms*. Of course, you might be queued up with a team of 4 if you go in alone, but you know that the team you're going up against has 1 random. Riot also saw that a large portion of the people who played the game played normal games because they didn't want to have to abandon the friends they were playing with in order to rank. Is it wrong for them to strike a compromise between those people and those who liked solo queue? Edit: Whoops, forgot to put a sauce. here ya go: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/developer-corner/XvqbAgrF-letos-talk-about-dynamic-queues-and-ranked-play Also, this came to mind: If as many people actually cared about solo queue-ing as you make it seem, then doesn't that mean that there would be less and less players that queue up in a team in ranked dynamic queue? With the system explained above, it would pretty much be solo queue if everyone just cared enough about it to queue'd up solo. Just a thought.
: Smurfs are always a factor in the equation, to varying degrees. You can't ignore their impact, however minimal in the grand scheme, because a game affected by a smurf has a huge impact on those affected, thus amplifying their negative experience. Every factor should be considered.
Your posts are a light in the sea of toxicity. Not necessarily in this section of the thread, but overall in the thread.

...And then they will plummet hard when they trying playing on their own. What's the problem? If you can find someone who does this in your ranked matches, pummel him into the ground, watch for ganks, and keep them down. Eventually, their team mates will leave them because "they lose too many matches/elo when queued up with them". Again, what's the problem?
: I really hope this game stop getting input (lessplayers/more players leaving; not buying skins...) cause thats what Riot deservers with those BS decisions

But out of the "large outcry" of people wanting to get Solo Queue back in, Riot has clearly seen no significant losses in the RP sales, active players, or ranked games. So you guys are "fighting the good fight," and I would respect it if it wasn't constant whining. Yes, it's whining because you're taking a load of time out of your day to copy and paste links, continually say Riot is lying even though they've given us updates on this as needed, and you're essentially wasting your time. > > You're thinking that Riot and League of Legends is a democracy. It's far from that. Until real, substantial losses start hitting Riot regarding Solo Queue, don't expect anything to happen. The amount of people crying to for the return of Solo Queue can only be measured in the thousands, at very best (I'm giving a lot of credit here). Meanwhile, the daily active user numbers are somewhere in the 20 million range. You do the math... What makes you so sure they're not losing out? Where are any of your numbers coming from? If I tell you I'm going to be at your house in a couple of weeks, then a month later tell you I'll be there in a month, then a couple of months later I tell you I might never show up; what is that? It's not lying? It's me not doing what I say I'm going to do. During the last patch a client reset right off the bat let people solo queue; it was documented on reddit and youtube, solo queue isn't bugged or broken in anyway, several people played it. You can be apologetic for them all you want, but people who don't agree with you aren't "whining". The rational for what you're saying is assuming they're making the right choice based on income, but that isn't necessarily true. It's happened before in the gaming industry and you shouldn't be surprised to see it happen again. The daily active users hasn't been 20 mil in over a year; the reason you go from a system that's proven to work to a system like this is to milk as much money as you can as your game population slowly declines. League hit it's peak population at the end of s4 entering s5, it's why they don't release population data anymore. They will never release population data again, ever. This isn't s2/s3 anymore, league and it's parent company aren't looking for the next opportunity to grow league. They're looking for how to capitalize on maximizing profits on it's way down. Just think about what the preseason changes actually mean; there's no longer a way to "inhouse farm" talent for the LCS. A majority of players playing in the LCS for the entire life of the LCS have come from Solo Queue ranks, there are entire LCS orgs that came out of the ranked 5's ladder. Neither of those things exist anymore. I get that you're playing devils advocate or whatever you're doing, but I don't see how it's worth your time. You obviously have an opinion that you believe in pretty deeply that isn't based on the facts of the situation. The problem I have personally with people like you is that you do exactly what the gaming companies would like to see done, players in the community making baseless claims and trying to argue that the company isn't doing anything wrong. edit: The problem with "milking profits" has been repeatedly shown to take games from a steady decline to a rapid decline. It's never worked in the past, it won't work here. It's a death spiral that apparently riot thinks they can do better than other companies in the past. Remember every game you've ever had on league where one guy is 1-5 and still trying to fight the person he's laning against 1on1. It's the same mentality.
>If I tell you I'm going to be at your house in a couple of weeks, then a month later tell you I'll be there in a month, then a couple of months later I tell you I might never show up; what is that? It's not lying? It's you telling me that something more important than coming over to my house came up. If they're trying to milk the company, that's their issue. Though... milking the company with the recent addition of hextech boxes? Where, if you play enough, you can get stuff for free? If anything, League is technically losing out on money as player are able to get things for free that they would have otherwise required legitimate money to pay for. Could it be a balancing act? Maybe. Though, could you please explain to me what "milking the company", in light of the hextech crates, has to do with missing solo queue?
: Yes, but these posts are growing increasingly whiny and are less and less about facts and are more about "Riot lied" when they've been keeping us informed this whole way. Look, I like Solo Queue. I want it back. But from the data we've seen, and knowing that Riot has a rather hard decision to make since Dynamic Queue is, by in large, widely favored as it is. Does Riot cater to it's biggest pool of players or do they cater to the vocal minority? They are a business, so they will do as they see fit. Throwing these posts around isn't going to affect their decision. But you know what will affect their decision? If people leave the game en masse and stay gone until Solo Queue is brought back. But do you know what you guys are doing by continually logging in every day, playing ranked, buying RP, and making posts in the forums? You're NOT making their numbers slide downward and are thus making them think that Solo Queue ISN'T that important to their playerbase afterall. You're keeping their webtraffic and average daily user numbers up, and those are the only real numbers internet-based businesses use to gauge success or failure. So congratulations on getting absolutely nothing done with these continual rants. Until you guys stick to your threats of leaving the game, you will get nowhere. Period.
I just do not see the logic behind *Solo* Queue being in a *team* game.

: Call me cynical (or Mr. Downvote depending on how this comment is taken) but it isn't EVER coming out. Kick and scream all you want, because that is what you SHOULD do. And if it is, it'll come out far far in the future.
: > And Dynamic Queue has been very popular with the majority of the playerbase. Oh really? Where is your statistical data to back that statement up? Oh and, no, nothing anyone from Riot said about this topic counts.
http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=314766&page=2#post3743731 This was a while ago, but one of the reasons Rito took out solo queue. (From the link above) -- "Solo Ranked is beyond unfun because you pick a fun champion aka shaco / insert non top 1/2 tier = Lose Pick top tier = Win. Theres no variation in team comps atm. Its quickly becomes Dull and Boring. Thats the FLAW of LoL and ranked."
: Why exactly didn't your friends built a 5v5 team? They could've done it before, no need to force everyone into DynQ
Duo Queue only allowed someone to queue up in a pair, nothing further. A 5 member team would have been nice, but in the system that was in place before, queuing up with a 5-man team just wasn't possible. With team builder it was, though.
